Going to Salaman

It is Friday. The Sweet Friday (Sukra Manis 11). At 7:33 I, Nuri, and Fitriani left home for Salaman to visit Lik Santo and Lik War. We stopped by at Fancy Bakery to get some fread for food souvenir and trip supply. We stopped again at Rest Area 429A for fueling. At 10:40 we arrived at Bu Sumo foodstall in Magelang to have breakfast. At 11:30 we arrived at the family house. We met Lik Santo, Lik War, Asri, and Peni. I then left them for the masjid.

I joined Friday congregational prayer in Masjid as Shofi, Kauman Salaman. The masjid as usual was full. At 12:45 the prayer was over and I went back to the family house. I stopped by at Hujan Coffee cafe for having a cup of V60 coffee. Adita prepared it. I had a chitchat with Adi. At about 14:00 Nuri came to pass the souvenir. Before leaving the cafe I bought 500g of various Arabica coffee.

I had no much talk with Bulik and Lik Santo but Nuri had. At about 15:00 I, Nuri, and Asri left the family house for going back to Semarang.

It is Friday. The Red Friday (Jumat Pahing 15). At about 6:45 we left the house for Salaman. We came by at Virgi Cake & Bakery to buy some breads for the big house. At 7:30 we arrived Kaliwiru when we found that Fitri's stuff had left behind. We turned back home. At about 8:00 we left the house.

As usual we used toll road, entered at Jatingaleh and exited at Bawen. We stopped by at Rest Area 429A for peeing and refueling. At 10:20 we stopped by at Bu Sumo Jendralan Magelang for having late breakfast. At 11:10 we arrived at the big house. We met Lik Warti, Lik Santo, Fitri, Asri, and Argy. Lik War looked healthy although she just had a surgery to remove her thyroid tumor.

At 11:45 I and ARGY walked to Masjid as Shofi to join Friday congregational prayer. After being over I came by at Adi's house.

Adi just came from Mecca for his umra. He told about his trip. Meanwhile a cup of black coffee was served by Adita. At about 13:00 I and Adi went to the big house. We the whole familymembers talked around and had lunch.

We just survey to select the place to manage a bimonthly meeting of ex water supply project wives. We found the place was suitable but the time was not. Going to Gedongsongo

It is Thursday. The Black Thursday (Respati Cemeng 12). At 5:45 Muri dropped me at the IPPU Secretariate office. I would join a group to go to Gedongsongo temples area. The other 12 participants were Masrianto, Ria Masianto, Harsono, Surti Harsono, Mustofa, Alia Mustofa, Bambang Pudjo, Sularwati Bambang, Djoko Roosmany, Sawitri Djoko, Arus Horizon, and Ramelan. After getting a briefing from Masrianto, we, the group were boarding in an Isuzu Elf car and at 6:38 we departed for Gedongsongo.

The trip was smooth, at 8:05 we arrived at the venue, Gedongsongo Temples Area. They were Hindu temples. There were supposed to 9 temples following the name but 2 temples dissappeared. The rest of 7 temples was the tourism attraction. The temples located in Banyukuning Bandungan Semarang Regency.

After stretching we entered the area by a submission ticket of Rp10.000. We then tracing the track to get temples location from temple 1 to temple 5. The track was comfortable since the temples environment was upgraded by the MInistry of Public Works and Housing. At 8:27 we started to walk. I, Masrianto, Harsono, and Arus were walking slowly to get temple 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. I had no idea where temple 6 dan 7 were. We stopped by at Vanaprastha Cottages to explore the information. A keeper told us that the cottage prices were Rp1.500 to Rp2.000.000 per night. A cottage can bear 6 to 8 people. At about 10:00 we finished walking and hanged out on a vendor bench. At about 12:00 we left the venue for being back to Semarang.

At 12:17 we stopped by at Tahu Serasi Om Sin BAndungan to get some tofu. We stopped by again at Tapak Bimo Resto 2 in Bawen to have lunch. For Province of Central Java there were 2 candidates: (1) Andika Perkasa - Hendrar Prihadi and Ahmad Luthfi - Taj Yasin. In the evening we found that governor candidate (2) got the most votes.

At about 13:45 we arrived at the station. After sending our gratitude to Mbak Poppy and Mas Didik, Rahutama and the gangs then checked them in. He used Pandanwangi Coaches for Banyuwangi destination. At about 10:30 we stopped by at Jember market to buy fried bananas. At 11:00 we arrived at the destination, Renteng Plantation in Nagasari Rambipuji, Jember Regency.

It is coffee and cacao plantation run commercially by PTP XII. They also manage an agritour package for the consumers. We took it, we traced the plantation site and the proccessing mills. Before joining the tour I and Rahutama joining Friday congregational prayer in their masjid, Masjid Bait ul Muttaqin.

They also operate a shop selling the products in packs or ready to consume. I tried their americano. A cup of it was Rp16.000.

The bus traced the national road in a modest speed. At SPBU Pertamina 44.506.13 Lendoh we stopped to give passengers time for peeing. The bus did not enter the Magelang downtown because there was a mayor candidate campaign. At about 9:30 we arrived at Talun Eatery in Sendangdadi Mlati, Sleman Regency. It was the venue for us, the AMMPA members' gathering, Members from Surakarta, Jogjakarta, Magelang, and Semarang areas came to join. I met my childhood friends such as Agus Priyono, Triana Indah Lestari, Erwin Trinugroho, Bambang Prihartoro, and also our yuniors such as Biat, Yulia, Dwiko, etc.

Fixing the Car

It is Tuesday. The Sweet Tuesday (Anggara Manis 8). At 8:00 I walked to Viva Pharmacy on Jalan Simongan to check some of my blood parameters. Beside providing medicines the pharmacy also serves examining blood parameter to the costumers. By spending Rp45.000 I got 3 parameter levels, glucose 93, cholesterol 213, and uric acid 5,3. The pharmacy also checked blood pressure 141/76, oxygen saturation 97%, and heart rate 63bpm.

At 10:00 I went to Bambang Workshop on Jalan Ki Mangunsarkoro Brumbungan to fix the car. The clutch of the car occasionally does not work well especially when it runs in a traffic jam. Bambang the mechanic then replaced some of the components. He bought spare parts spending Rp385.000. It took 3hour to do it. So, I spent Rp635.000 for all. At about 13:00 I went back home.

Going to Surakarta

It is Tuesday. The Yellow Tuesday (Selasa Pon 10). At 5:50 Nuri dropped me at the parking yard of Public Works Polytechnics campus, Tembalang. I would join a tour to Surakarta and the campus was the gathering point.

More than a half hour I was there waiting for the other participants arriving. I used the time to talk with the arrived one. A small bus was available there. The tour operator, Pandawa 86 gave Kasih and Juni for the guides. Masrianto and wife came the last. At 6:40 we depart from the gathering point. The participants were 28 people, beside me they were Masrianto & Patriasari, Harsono Wuryanto & Surti Afriliyeni Firdaus, Arus Horizon & Titik Rosalina, Agus Supriyanto & Indriastuti Wuryani, Mustofa Kamal & Alia, Bambang Pudjo Lahatyo n Sularwati, Subagiyo Lukito & Pintartiati, Muhammad Mazid & Murtini, Santoso & Nani Nurhaeni, Zaenal Achmad Djohan & Kusumaningdyah, Suharsono, Mulyono Supardi, Wismaningsih, Nani Suhartini, Sri Rahayu Widyastuti, Indarwati, Wiwik S.

At 8:00 we arrived at the first object, Panorama Waterpark, in Nepen Teras, Boyolali Regency. The object occupies a creek formed by a spring. The area was about 2Ha. Several huts were built to be used as restaurants. In a restorant we may order foods and beverages. Our legs can be immersed into the water underneath where many small fishes will bite our decayed skin. We did not do that. We served with chicken soup, hot tea, and frites. We also were visited by Tedjo Sularto, an IPPU member living in the area. At about 10:00 we left the object. At 10:15 we stopped by at a point near Tedjo's house in Bendan Banyudono, Boyolali Regency. Tedjo gave us some packs of water guava.

At 11:15 we arrived at Pasar Gede (Main Market) on Jalan Oerip Soemohardjo, Surakarta Town. It was an icon of Surakarta Town offering mainly various food commodities, such as snacks and traditional beverages. I bought ginger palm suger. I found Masrianto, Harsono, along with their wives taste dawet, a Javanese traditional cocktail. I finally drank americano in Agus Coffee House. At 12:30 we left the object.

At 12:50 we arrived at Karonsih Resto on Jalan Soepomo where we were served with luch and a time to pay prayer. The resto provided some dishes to be tasted. It was a modest lunch but we were satisfied.

At 14:30 we arrived at Solo Safari in Jebres Jebres, Surakarta. It is a new built zoo with some collections. We enjoyed walking since it was good designed for walking. Many big and high trees were conserved so we were still sheltered along the way. At 17:00 we left the zoo. Because we still had time we went to a snack shop named Minijaya in Ngringo Jaten, Karanganyar Regency. Some of us got off for shopping but I was still on board.

At 17:45 we arrived at a parking yard on Jalan DI Panjaitan close to Masjid Besar Sheikh Zayed. I walked 400m to the masjid. Some of us used ojek bikes. The cost was Rp5.000. The masjid was big, beautiful, and comfortable. We paid our maghrib and isha prayers there. Before leaving we made some pictures of us. I used an ojek bike to get the parking yard.

At about 19:30 we arrived at Anak Pantai Resto on Jalan Adi Soemarmo in Gedongan Colomadu, Karanganyar Regency where we were served with dinner. Again, a modest dinner made us full.

At 22:10 we arrived at the parking yard of Public Works Polytechnics. We dismissed after sent our gratitude to the tour operator. About 20minute later Nuri came to pick me up.

We then went to Tawang Station to pick up Yayuk (Asri Wahyuningrum) and Lily (Amaril Iswardani). They were Nuri's colleagues during their study in University of Jember. A keeper opened a new one for me and charged it. It seemed the band was malfunction, the charging did not appear. So, I went to Dunkin Donut counter to have one along with a cup of black coffee. A half hour later the keeper told the band was charged. Though just 16% I took it. I then found the battery dropped fastly.

Moving Back Home

It is Sunday. TheBlackSunday (Ahad Wage 9). In the morning I and Nuri packed our stuff for moving. At 8:00 we loaded the stuff in the car then brought it home. After unloading Nuri made the front bedroom ready while I washed my dirty underwears.

At 10:00 we went to the dormitory again to take the remaining stuff. Before leaving the dormitory we told the dormitory caretaker that we checked out. We pleased him to check the room completeliness. At 11:30 we left ther dormitory.

We did not directly go home but went to Jalan Suyudono to buy dishes for our meals. At about 12:30 we arrived home. The car was park on the alley because the car port was not ready yet.

Going to Grabag

It is Friday. The Sweet Friday (Jumat Legi 11). It was the day 40th of roof replacing work. The floor was found being inundated by water from raining last night. Nuri was mad because it ruined our stuff. She texted Annas and Kisen. I called Annas but failed, so I did to Kison. I asked him to improved the work method to protect our stuff from water.

At about 9:00 we left the dormitory for Grabag to visit Bambang Wahyudi. We stopped by at Bu Puji shop for getting snack souvenier and SPBU Pamularsih. At 10:45 we arrived at Bambang's house on Jalan Pucang - Grabag in Grabag, Magelang Regency. He was being well but not able to move freely. He lived with his sister. We talked for about 15minute. At 11:05 I and Nuri left for Magelang.

At about 11:50 we stopped at SPBU 4156101 Kedungsari Magelang Utara. I got off and went to Masjid al Hikmah inside Menowosari Housing to join Friday congregational prayer. The masjid was nice and clean. The housing was also the same. At 12:40 I joined Nuri again and went to Es Murni Resto on Jalan Sriwijaya.

Es Murni Resto has been being known since my childhood time. It was known as their various cocktail ice beverages. Now, they also provide various dishes. We were there for about 30minute then we went to Grand Artos Hotel.

At 13:45 I arrived in the hotel. I submitted the hat I received several days ago to the front desk officer. She told me that my stuff was still in process. Nuri then was mad knowing that the stuff had sent to another guest living in Tangerang and had no information of sending back to the hotel. We then left the hotel for Lezat Shop.

At Lezat Shop we bought various snacks. Some of them would be sent to Rahutama in Singaraja. We spent Rp207.000. We then went back to the dormitory.
