On the way to Liwa we stopped twice. The first stop was at 9:40 at a calamar satay kiosk in Linau - Maje, Regency of Kaur. We tasted the satay. It was fair.
At 12:15 we arrived to the second stop, PFU (SPBU 24-348.143) Penengahan - Lemong, Regency of Pesisir Barat where we paid our praying and refueled the car.
At about 14:00 we entered Town of Liwa. Liwa is just a name because the administrative boundary was not defined. It occupied mostly the village of Way Mengaku - Balik Bukit, Lampung Barat Regency. Liwa is known by its eartquake in 1994. The magnitude was 6,5 Mw and it devastated the area.
At 14:20 we checked in at Jejama Resto on Jalan Raden Intan Liwa for having lunch. The resto provides Lampung styled dishes. I ordered Ranau nila roasted dish. It was the same as other fish dish.
At 16:00 we checked in at Sari Rasa Hotel. The hotel located behind the shopping corridor on Jalan Raden Intan. It a 2 floor building. I and Mahardi got room #107. We just put our luggages then went out.
At 16:10 we were in Ratu Luwak Coffee counter at shopping corridor on Jalan Raden Intan. Mahardi and Niko shopped coffee beans. I just tasted a cup of Robusta coffee served by the keeper. It was good.
At 16:50 we visited the place Ratu Luwak coffee produced on Jalan Pekonan. They had many cages where many binturongs were in. Binturong is a kind of mongoose. They produced luwak (mongoose) coffee beans through their faeces. The owner welcomed us. He also served us cups of Robusta coffee. Mahardi asked many matters about managing coffee.
At about 17:30 we arrived at the hotel again. I got showering and a rest for a while.
At 19:30 we had dinner at Mas Yanto Roasted Chicken counter on Jalan Pangeran Indrapati. They provided various dishes. I found the taste was fair.
