I had breakfast in the hotel because they provided it. It was very simple consisted of rice, a steamed egg, 2 cuts of sunkist orange, and 1 piece of fritter.
At about 08:15 we checked out the hotel and went to Bandarlampung. We traced national road Liwa - Bukit Kemuning - Kotabumi - Terbanggi Besar - Bandarlampung.
At 10:15 we stopped by for a half hour at Skala Barhak Rest Area in Sidangpagar - Sumber Jaya, Regency of Lampung Barat. In the cafe available we had a rest, cups of coffee, fried cassava, and made scenery pictures. We again stopped by for a while at Sukapura - Sumber Jaya, Regency of Lampung Barat to see Statue of Soekarno. We got off the car and made a picture with the statue as the background.
At 13:30 we were in Tanjungratu Ilir - Way Pengubuan to seek an access to Purnamatunggal Housing. We did not got the access because the bridge leading to the place was defective. The place can be reached from Jalan Ahmad Yani Yukum Jaya - Terbanggi Besar. Purnamatunggal was the place my father lived in the years 1972 to 1982.
At 14:00 we checked in Bik Cik Pindang Resto in Bandarjaya Timur - Terbanggi Besar to taste their pindang baung (a sort of spicy baung fish soup). I found the taste was good.
We then went to Hotel Bandara for checking in. We arrived there at 15:10. We checked in room 106. Then we left the hotel going to the Town of Bandarlampung. We wanted to get food souvenir, visit a coffee shop, and visit Mahardi's childhood friend.
The first destination was a shop named Pempek Lenny. that sells pempek, a fish n amylum curd. We traced streets of Bandarlampung perimeter to avoid traffic jam. At 16:15 we arrived at the store on Jalan Ikan Kakap #14 Pesawahan - Telukbetung Selatan. We tasted the food. Pempek is served with hot sweet syrup named cuko. We found the pempek was tasty.
The second destination was Dr. Koffie Cafe. On the way there Niko got off at a place in Pahoman. At 17:30 we arrived at the cafe on Gang Cinde Jalan Pagaralam, Segala Mider - Tanjungkarang Selatan. The cafe was cozy. I and Mahardi tasted their V60 coffee. At this place Mahardi's friend named Sarman joined us. Juli separated from us for going back to his house. His wife and daughter picked him up.
The third destination was Sarman's house. At 19:10 we arrived there on Jalan Bougenville Labuhan Dalam - Tanjungsenang. Sarman is a Lampung etnic. When he was a child he lived in Panca Arga Magelang and shared the study time in Ahmad Yani secondary school with Mahardi. He now lives in Town of Bandarlampung with his wife and his daughter. He has only a child. The family entertained us with dinner in the house.
At 21:15 we arrived at the hotel.
