Eid al Fitr

It is Wednesday. The Red Wednesday (Rabu Pahing). It was Eid al Fitr 1445 Hijria. I woke up at 5:00. After praying I ironed 3 pieces of my clothes. At 6:20 I went to Masjid at Taqwa to joined voluntary Eid congregational prayer. Many people gathered here. Their faces seemed happy celebrating the Eid festival.

This day our meals were about Eid Festival meals such as ketupat (steamed rice in coconut leaf) and opor ayam (Javanese chicken curry). Bu Kus sent us other curry dishes. They were then stored in the refrigeretor for other days.

We welcomed Anindya, BAgus, Dastan, and Aishelina. They paid their eid wishes. Then, coming to the house were Bu Kus and her family members. After that Pak No and his family members. We shared the Eid wishes.

In the evening I and Nuri went to Simpanglima to by pecel (vegetables salad with peanut dressing) Yu Sri. We consumed it for our dinner.
