Reunion the Day 3

It is Thursday. The Yellow Thursday (Kamis Pon 15). It was the day 3 of the reunion. In the morning at 5:27 I run along street in front of the hotel. It was so cold so I stopped after reaching 0,57km. I took my houdie jacket and then walked along with Adri, Oscar, and Hariarti.

At 07:30 I was ready for checking out and joined the other participants in the hotel front yard. The group of participants consisted of 41 people, 36 people of Peji69 and 5 people of companions. They were me, Abdul Hadi, Adri Supardi, Asiwardi Gandhi, Cendy Prapto, Djoko Rahardjo, Dwi Kartika Rinie, Dwi Sulistyanto, Dyah Kusnaniah, Emi Suwarni, Enny Susiani, Hadi Wibowo, Hariarti Budi Lestari, Haryati, Hera Pratiwi, Indah Kentjono Hesti, Kusumastuti Suryaningsih, Mardiyati (Suharyanto's wife), Meiyanti, M. Susatiyo, Nurhadi (Indah's husband), Oscar Harimawan, Reno Handayani, Raditya (Hadi's son), Roosmariani, Savitri Fadjarwati, Sinta Riana Tobing, Sri AsTuti (Hadi's wife), Sri Rumini, Sufianto (Triana's husband), Suharyanto, Suliyanti Purwaningsih, Triana Indah Lestari, Unandari, Widarto, Widati, Wijaya Seta, Wijayanto, Winardi, Yodati, and Zuharun Muharjo.

At 8:30 we went to Gedung Sate on Jalan Dipegoro. The building was constructed during Dutch Colonial Government in the year of 1920. The government designated the building to be the government office. We were pleased to visit the top level of the building. On the top level we might see Bandung Town. The building now was managed by the Jawa Barat Provincial Government.

At about 11:00 we went to Savoy Homan Hotel on Jalan Asia Afrika. We just parked our vehicles there. We then went to Asia Africa Museum in front of the hotel. A guide explained us the efforts of our founding fathers managing Asia Africa Conference in April 1955. The spirit of the conference then encourage many countries under colonial governments in Asia and Africa to get their independences.

At 13:00 we were served to have lunch in Savoy Homan Hotel. Nana, Gandhi's wife, managed this session. She is the commissioner of the hotel. The hotel was owned by Bidakara, an organization of Bank Indonesia retired employees. We also got opportunity to see the president suit room one day President Soekarno was overnight.

At 15:00 we dismissed. We went back to Magelang using Borobudur Marathon Bus. Beside me, the passengers were Abdul Hadi, Emmi Suwarni, Enny Susiani, Haryati, M. Susatiyo, Meiyanti, Reno Handayani, Savitri, Sinta, Sri Rumini, Sufianto, Triana Indah Lestari, Winardi, and Zuharun. Kusumastuti was not with us, she was still in Bandung joining her daughter.

We used Cisumdaru Toll Road, a new road just inaugurated by President Jokowi. At 17:30 we stopped by at Rest Area 207A for about a half hour for a break. At 19:40 we stopped at Wendy's satay restorant in Tegal for dining for about 40minute. Because I did not consumed red meat, I went to a Warung Tegal Kharisma Bahari nearby. I spent Rp15.000. At 23:15 the bus stopped in front of PLN Building Jatingaleh. I, Hariyati, Triana, and Sufianto got off there. The bus then continued going to Magelang. Triana and Sufianto got in a Gojek car for their relative. Nuri picked me and Hariyati in the car. We sent Haryati to his house on Jalan Kendeng. At 23:59 I arrived at home.

At 19:07 Mudjiadi posted in Siantuma WAG that Muhammad Akmasj Rachman was passing a way at 18:17 in Borromeus Hospital. He had been in faint for a long time due to the stroke he had got. Muhammad Akmasj Rachman was my class mate when we were in ITB matriculation class in the year of 1975. We separated when we were in the first year course and then met again in 1976 when we entered Civil Engineering Department.
