Going to Amlapura

It is Saturday. The Black Saturday (Tumpak Cemeng 13). In the morning at 9:57 we in five left the house to Amlapura. Amplapura is the capital of Karangasem Regency. Our main destination was Taman Air Tirta Gangga, a well known water park in the regency. We stopped three times before receiving the park. First, we stopped at Warung Sate Pak Luwes on Jl. Samudra, Banyuasri, Kec. Buleleng, no:12E, Bali 81112 to buy some fist dishes for our packed meal. Second, we stopped at Bunga Pertiwi snack shop in Kompleks Pertokoan Singaraja Square, Jl. Surapati No.45, Kampung Tinggi, Kec. Buleleng, Kabupaten Buleleng, Bali 81113 to get some snacks. Third, we stopped at 11:12 at an Indomaret shop on Jl. Airsanih - Tejakula, Pacung, Kec. Tejakula, Kabupaten Buleleng, Bali 81173. In the parking area of the shop we opened our packed meal and had our breakfast. At 13:00 we arrived in the parking area of the park.

The park is about 30.000m2 wide, well maintained, and beautiful. It was built by the King of Karangasem in 1946. We were there about an hour. In a cafe inside the park I order a cup of long black coffee and I found it was so bitter. We then went to Amplapura to have lunch.

In front of a shopping gallery on Jalan Gajahmada Ampapura there was Warung Blayag Mek Sambru. It is known of culinary heritage of Bali because it offers genuine dishes of Bali. No pork was offered there so at 15:37 we no doubt to have it. I ordered rice and smoked fish in chilli sauce. I did not order chicken dishes that looked tempting because I was not sure the halalness of the chicken. We only spent Rp75.000 for all. We then went back to Singaraja.

On the way back at 16:42 we stopped at a point after a bridge in Banjar Dinas Muntig, Tulamben, Kec. Kubu, Kabupaten Karangasem to get a picture of Gunung Agung. Unfortunately the shooting was defected by the sunbeam so I can get the volcano picture but the plant background seemed black. At 18:38 we arrived at the house.
