Moving

It is Wednesday. The Black Wednesday (Rabu Wage 11). In the morning at 6:20 I joined Qigong in the temple hall. The participants were 5 people: me, Andhy, Moyling 廖梅玲, Sioeling 廖秀玲, Cikuan 林时观, and Boenmiauw 廖文茂.

The roof replacement came to the day third. There were 5 workers coming. They began to remove the roof. We had to be quick to pack the stuff.

At 11:30 I put some stuff in room 111 Top Residence where we would move temporarily. I paid off the rent cost, Rp3J for a month. I also recharged the electric supply, Rp20T. At about 14:30 I and Nuri moved to the room. We brought some clothes, and other stuff.

The main room was about 3mx3,5m and shower room of 1,5mx1,5m equipped with an AC and a 24" television. Internet was also provided free of charge.

At 10:00 Annas came along with his 3 crews. We agreeed to start the work for roof replacement. The total cost was Rp250M mentioned on the contract. This day we packed the stuff to avoid defect during construction.

Going Back to Semarang

It is Sunday. The Black Sunday (Ahad Wage 9). At 8:00 we checked out the apartment. We went to Mahardi's house. At the place we met Mahardi and Erna, Lik Santo, Adi, Asri, ARGY, ALY, ZAKY, Fitri, Aning, Lia, etc. A moment later Anindya, Dastan, and Aisha came. I had simple breakfast and coffee here. At about 10:00 we left the house for Pasar Baru on Jalan Otto Iskandardinata.

For more thant 2 hour we were here. Nuri and Anjar enjoyed shopping here. Anindya, Dastan, and Aisha were also joining here for a while but then left for shopping at other places. I found lot of customers shopped at several shops but there were many shops had no customer. At 13:45 we joined again at Bakso Akung counter on Jalan Lodaya.

The place was so crouwded but we still had 2 tables for me, Nuri, Anindya, Dastan, Aishalina, Rahutama, Anjar, Dhiratama, and Debi the driver. I order lamian with shredded chicken while the others had lamian with tofu, meatball, wonton toppings. At about 16:00 we left the counter for Semarang.

Trip to Semarang had 2 stops. First stop was at 16:30 at Rest Area 204A Cisumdawu in Cacaban Congean Sumedang Regency for paying praying and having a break. The rest area had only temporary buildings. We were here for about 30minute. The second stop was at 19:30 at Rest Area 338A Pegandon Karangdadap, Pekalongan Regency where we had late dinner. I ordered just tofu and tempe in Hidangan Sunda Resto. We were here for about an hour.

Joining a Wedding Party

It is Saturday. The Yellow Saturday (Sabtu Pon 16). At 5:00 Rahutama accompanied me dan Nuri going to Istana Muara Convention Hall to get ready for putting a traditional costumes on. Because we still had time after dropping Nuri, I, Rahutama, Priyono, and Ammar Luqman left for getting chicken porridge street food on Jalan Muara Sari 1. The taste was modest but at least we got breakfast.

At 7:00 the venue was ready, the bride relatives were also ready in traditional Java costums. At 8:00 on a stage for marriage Mahardi married Delfta Tunjung Baswarani to Tri Nefri Odi Putra. The marriage was recorded in the Ministry of Religion Office, Bandung. Following the marriage some traditional processions were conducted directed by the wedding organizer.

At 10:30 Anindya along with Dastan, Aishalina, and Debi the driver arrived to the venue. They used their car to get them from Semarang to Bandung.

At 11:00 the wedding reception was beginning. Makchul was assigned to welcome the guests. The venue was spacious and the foods and beverages were available enormous so the guests were served well. We, the bride's relatives made pictures along with the groom and bride and their parents.

At 14:00 I, Nuri, Rahutama, Anjar, Dhiratama, and Nadia left the venue for the apartment. Then, we left the apartment to Bandung Station to drop Nadia. Nadia would used Malabar Coaches to go back to Malang. The coaches would depart at 17:20. After sending Nadia to the departing room we left the station.

Blessing Showering

It is Friday.The Red Friday (Jumat Pahing 15). At 9:30 we left the apartment for Mahardi's house. Nuri would join pengajian (congregational benediction) and siraman blessing showering. In the morning the preparation was conducted. Some relatives gathered, such as Esti, Asri, Fitri, etc.

At 12:00 I joined Friday congregational prayer in Masjid Jami at Taqwa Coblong.

At about 13:00 the benediction began on the groundfloor. I did not join it so I stayed for nothing on the upper floor. At 14:00 the showering began. It was a procession guided by the wedding organizer. I did not follow all session because I had to go.

At 14:45 I went to the railway station on Jalan Kebonkawung to picked up Rahutama, Anjar, and Dhiratama. They used Lodaya Coaches and were scheduled to arrive at 15:20. The traffic to the station was congested so I was late arriving at the station. We then left the station for Mahardi's house. We stopped by at Malah Dicubo Resto in Station Hall Terminal area. The area was dirty, I thought because terminal function had been abandoned. However, the dishes were tasty so the resto still had many customers.

After maghrib time we arrived at Mahardi's house. Many relatives were there such as Adi, Kanti, Adita, Esti, Makchul, Mentari, Aksa, ASri, ARGY, ALY, ZAKY, Fitri, and Aning. Dhiratama played with Aksa. The two kids soon got familiar.

Marriage Proposal

It is Thursday. The Sweet Thursday (Kamis Legi 13). At 9:30 we went to Mahardi's house. Lik Santo with his car guided us along the way because I forgot the location.

At about 10:30 Hery Sofyan family came to the house. They proposed marriage to Delfta Tunjung Baswarani for their son named Tri Nefri Odi Putra. The family consisted of about 10 people consisted of Odi Putra, Hery Sofyan the father, Marsinah the mother, the speaker, the family members. I became the speaker of Mahardi family assigned to welcome the guests and to accept the proposal. At 12:30 the session concluded and was ended with lunch.

I, Nuri, and Nadia went back to the apartment. Then, by a GO-JEK car we went to Pasar Baru for shopping. About 2 hour Nuri and Nadia shopped there. I was in Purnama Coffee shop on Jalan Alkatiri waiting for them. At about 16:30 we went back to the apartment. We used a GO-JEK car again.

Going to Bandung

It is Wednesday. The Loving Wednesday (Kliwon 15). At 8:30 I, Nuri, Fitri, Aning, and Nadia departed for Bandung. Nuri was the driver. We stopped by at SPBU Pamularsih for fueling. Our trip was smooth but we stopped many times. At 10:23 to 10:41 we stopped by at rest area 319B for short break, just for peeing. The area is owned by Rosalia Indah Group a transportation business based company. Then, at 11:37 to 13:10 we stopped by at rest area 260B Heritage. This area was originally a can sugar factory named PG Banjaratma. Many items products of local Brebes people were offered here. At 13:40 we stopped by at rest area 229B for fixing the wipers. We just stopped for 5minute. Being on the road again we found it was just raining. The road was wet.

At 14:56 we entered Cisumdawu Toll Road. It was quite new toll road. At 15:52 we stopped at rest area 149 Padalenyi to fuel the car.
