Reunion

It is Saturday. The Loving Saturday (Tumpak Kasih 17). In the morning at 06:30 I and Nuri left the house for Magelang. I would join a reunion. We picked up Asri to join us. AS usual we entered toll road at Manyaran Gate.

We stopped twice. At about 06:50 we stopped by at Rest Area 429 for fueling and withdrawing cash. We stopped by again at Bu Sumo food kiosk in Magelang to have breakfast. At about 9:30 I got off at thr venue Panca Arga. Nuri and Asri continued going to Salaman.

The venue was on Jalan Utama in the yard area of Kartika Elementary School. The school was used to be my school when about 57 years ago being name as Persit III Elementary School and 3 years later turned to 3 elementary schools: S. Prapto, S. Parman, Soegijono, and Tendean. I passed from S. Prapto Elementary School.

The organizing committee served us with music, beverages, and food. I tasted some of them. About 4 tents were erected to gave additional shelter. I met my old schoolmates such as Sinta, Agustin, Wiwid, Ning, Suharyanto. I also met some guys I recognized in my childhood era such as Bambang Prihardi, Djoko Untung, and Suhartini.

At 13:30 I left the venue, Nuri picked me up. We went to Hotel Ahava for overnight. We stopped by at Lezat Shop for buying snacks. At about 15:00 we checked in. We got room 306. The hotel was a budget hotel. It had no front yard. A limited parking space was available on the groundfloor. The reception office was also on the ground floor. Groundfloor was also named as first floor. An elevator served basement to the third floor. There was also a stair as redundant of the elevator. My room was narrow, it was about 3mx3m. Amenities were available. It was minimalis but we can sleep well since an air conditioner was also available.

At 18:30 I went to AH Nasution Building in the Military Academy area. A cordial gathering was managed by the committee. People from many places in Indonesia came to perform their respective presentation. We from Semarang presented 2 songs, Manis dan Sayang (Koes Plus) and Kebyar Kebyar (Gombloh). I thought the best performance was from Pontianak. They successfully invoked audience to sing and dance together. Amid the performance the committee also served us with nice dishes. I enjoyed the dinner. In this event I met Nanan, Suharyanto, Sinta, Wiwid, Agustin, etc. I talked alot with Djoko Untung. Finally, at 23:00 we dismissed. I went back to the hotel.
