Going Back to Semarang

It was Thursday. In the morning I and Mahardi went to the National Agrarian Authority, the Office of South Sumatra to see his ITB-85 classmate. He wanted also to offer an application to compose a map using a drone. His classmate was Alim Bastian, a high-ranking officer in the office. Before Mahardi demonstrated his drone Mr. Bastian offered us to have  breakfast at the Pak Raden Resto. In the same time, he welcomed his colleagues from Jakarta. The resto provided pempek and mi celor, specific dishes of South Sumatra.

After being at the office again Mahardi demonstrated his drone. In the first he got trouble in flying the drone. Finally, after a time consuming effort he successfully flied it. It seemed that everything would be going right but suddenly the drone was disappearing from the screen. He had to search it.

Meanwhile, because the time was running I went to the hotel to check out. I was accompanied by his subordinate. I was so grateful to him. When I was in the office again Mahardi was still searching the drone. An officer told that the drone had been found in the Bank Mandiri area and Mahardi was to settle the administration.

Then, Mr. Bastian offered me to join the guests to have lunch at the Mak Ucha Resto. The resto was known providing excellent pindang dishes. I did not have lunch because I still felt stuffed. Mahardi then joined in the resto. A ruined drone was with him. He said it would be fixed in Bandung. He told the drone had crashed the bank building at 50m high then dropped.

After having lunch I and Mahardi went to the airport. Mr. Bastian provided a car and the driver, Edi Purwanto, to bring us there. He also gave us 2 boxes of pempek. In addition, he ensured that our check-in process in the airport was settled. We just to see Mr. Afrizal, a Garuda checking in officer. We owe Mr. Bastian so much.

We arrived at the airport at 14:45. We in a hurry came to the check in desk to check in our baggage. Mahardi was in the Citilink flight number QG894 directly going to Bandung while I was seat 1B in the Nam Air flight number IN9085 going to Jakarta for transit. A boarding pass of seat 5C Nam Air flight number IN9220 going to Semarang was also attached. In waiting for the boarding I did praying and had late lunch in the Beringin Cafe.

Mahardi was boarding at about 13:30, I was at about. Surprisingly, I was in the business class although my ticket was an economic one. My gratitude to Mr. Afrizal. At I arrived at the Sukarno Hatta Airport of Jakarta. I had time to have coffee at a shop and to do praying. At I was boarding for Semarang. I arrived at Semarang at 20:50 when it was raining. Nuri picked me up home.
