Going Back To Semarang

It is Sunday. The Sweet Sundah (RAdite Manis 10). At 05:45 I went out for running. However, it was cloudy and going to be drizzle. So, I aborted running and went back to the hotel.

Reunion

It is Saturday. The Loving Saturday (Tumpak Kasih 17). In the morning at 06:30 I and Nuri left the house for Magelang. I would join a reunion. We picked up Asri to join us. AS usual we entered toll road at Manyaran Gate.

We stopped twice. At about 06:50 we stopped by at Rest Area 429 for fueling and withdrawing cash. We stopped by again at Bu Sumo food kiosk in Magelang to have breakfast. At about 9:30 I got off at thr venue Panca Arga. Nuri and Asri continued going to Salaman.

The venue was on Jalan Utama in the yard area of Kartika Elementary School. The school was used to be my school when about 57 years ago being name as Persit III Elementary School and 3 years later turned to 3 elementary schools: S. Prapto, S. Parman, Soegijono, and Tendean. I passed from S. Prapto Elementary School.

The organizing committee served us with music, beverages, and food. I tasted some of them. About 4 tents were erected to gave additional shelter. I met my old schoolmates such as Sinta, Agustin, Wiwid, Ning, Suharyanto. I also met some guys I recognized in my childhood era such as Bambang Prihardi, Djoko Untung, and Suhartini.

At 13:30 I left the venue, Nuri picked me up. We went to Hotel Ahava for overnight. We stopped by at Lezat Shop for buying snacks. At about 15:00 we checked in. We got room 306. The hotel was a budget hotel. It had no front yard. A limited parking space was available on the groundfloor. The reception office was also on the ground floor. Groundfloor was also named as first floor. An elevator served basement to the third floor. There was also a stair as redundant of the elevator. My room was narrow, it was about 3mx3m. Amenities were available. It was minimalis but we can sleep well since an air conditioner was also available.

At 18:30 I went to AH Nasution Building in the Military Academy area. A cordial gathering was managed by the committee. People from many places in Indonesia came to perform their respective presentation. We from Semarang presented 2 songs, Manis dan Sayang (Koes Plus) and Kebyar Kebyar (Gombloh). I thought the best performance was from Pontianak. They successfully invoked audience to sing and dance together. Amid the performance the committee also served us with nice dishes. After maghrib time I and Nuri went to DIY Store to buy a gift for Aishalina. This day was her birthday. She turned to 6 years. We bought a lamp resembling a cat face.

After finishing wrapping I and Nuri went to Anindya's house to deliver the gift. We greeted her for her birthday. She was happy receiving the gift. Amid there Mr. and Mrs. Djoni came by to drop 2 boxes of pizza. Aishalina and Dastan were happy consuming pieces of pizza.

After tasting soto soup we discussed our plan to manage Class 1971 Magelang Secoundary Schoolmate Reunion. We came to agree the rundown, bill of quantity, and uniform.

At about 12:00 we without Hariyoto left the outlet for Falcon Confection to order the uniform. About an hour we were there to make our order clear. The quantity was 71 pieces. After the order was committed Juli made a first payment of Rp3.000.000, paid electronically. We went back home to drop Juli and Haryati. Handoyo gave me a ride home. It was 14:00 when I was home.

It was Pak Yus that servicing the air conditioners. There were 2 unit had to be serviced. Nuri said that Pak Yus was just on duty after finishing his work at Anindya's house.

Reunion The Day 3

It is Thursday. The Black Thursday (Respati Cemeng 12). The reunion came to the day 3. In the morning several of us such as Much Slamet, Hariyoto Saleh, Gatot Supriyadi, and Isa Ardani paid our dawn congregational prayer led by Bambang Purwanto. I then slept again for about 30minutes. I did not practice running because I did not feel well. At 07:00 I joined breakfast in the dining hall. After having breakfast Sri Purwadi Sutono, Nuryati Laksmi, and Risnawati left for Jakarta. Some pictures were made before they left.

At 09:00 we, the group, went to Watuputih Resort in Majaksingi Borobudur. The resort located on the embankment of Menoreh mountain. The cottages were located one below the other. A hall with a plaza was located in the lowest ground so from there we can make some pictures of us with scenery backgrounds.

At 10:00 we when to Camera House in Majaksini Borobudur also to make some attractive pictures of us. The house provided some backgrounds made of pictures of panorama. We might make a picture as if we were on the original location. Finally, we came to De'Menake Resto in Candirejo Borobudur to have lunch and end the reunion. We then went back to the hotel about 15 minutes going.

In the hotel I took showering, prayed, and packed the clothes. At about 13:30 I left the room. I found Tri Heryanto the roommate left his souvenir behind. A moment later I, Kusumastuti, Retnobroto, Adiati, Henni, and Endang Sri Rejeki in Retnobroto's car left the hotel for Magelang. We stopped by at Padang Jawa Resto on Jalan Daha Magelang to drop Sri Rejeki and to meet Mustikorini and Kanti. We talked and enjoyed some dishes for a while. At 15:00 we left the resto led to Semarang. At 16:50 we stopped by at Mutiara Sewakul Housing to drop Kusumastuti. At 17:30 I and Henni got off at an Alfamart shop close to Sampokong parking area. Reunion The Day 2

It is Wednesday. The Yellow Wednesday (Buda Palguna). At 04:30 I joined dawn congregational prayer on a small plaza inside hotel area. The other participants were Gatot Supriyadi, Bambang Purwanto, Bambang Santosa, etc. Ihyaudin acted as imam led the prayer. After praying we supposed to recite Qur'an but it was cancelled because the lighting was not supporting.

At 6:15 I and Sutono run along streets of Balaputradewa, Syailendra, Pramudyawardani, and Medangkamulan. I reached 4,31 in 49:33 minutes or pace 11'29". The average heart rate was 111bpm, the avearge cadence was 138spm and the fat burning was 392kcal.

At about 7:10 we joined breakfast in the dining hall. In the mean time we heard that Mufid was found by Bambang Santosa lying on the floor of the shower room in unconscious condition. Nurul and Hera then came over to make a helf but the condition was getting serious. An ambulance then took and brought him to Merah Putih Hospital. Because of this incident the group departure to Kahyangan was delayed.

At about 10:30 we were transported by many Grab cars to Kahyangan. Kahyangan can only be accessed by a small car like Avanza or . Kahyangan is a place in Wonolelo Sawangan Magelang Regency that offers nice scenery of Mount Merbabu, the environtment, and valley. There was a cafe named Negeri Kahyangan Cafe and Resto where we gathered having snack, lunch and singing songs. Almost all of the participants made pictures of themselves or others.

At about 13:30 we left the cafe moved to Senjakala Village in Banyuwangi Bandongan Magelang Regency. The place was about 45 minutes from Negeri Kahyangan ride along national road to Magelang then local road to the village. The owner was Sri Suharti, one of the reunion participants so actually she just entertained us. After having snacks and making pictures we went back to the hotel in Borobudur for having a break.

After having a break at about 16:30 we went to junkyard Autopark & Cafe in Warurejo Borobudur. The former plan was to see sunset but we did not because it was cloudy and little bit drizzle. We just waited for our dinner in the cafe. Fortunately, the cafe provided us with karaoke unit so had time to sing songs. After maghrib time we went back to the hotel.

I and some of the participants chatted in the restorant. However I could not endure long because I was so tired and sleepy. At 20:30 I went back to my room to get sleep. Lanjutannya...

Reunion The Day 1

It is Tuesday. The Red Tuesday (Anggara Jenar 12). In the morning at 07:15 I dropped Nuri at Alfamart shop close to Sampokong parking yard. She would go to Surakarta with Trimurti Hidayat and Endah Bena. Endah would pick her there. I also dropped my bag and left at a porridge vendor. I then went back home.

At 07:45 I left the house after locking all the doors. I walked to the shop. I took my bag from the porridge vendor. Retnobroto and Henni were waiting for me at the shop parking yard. After getting on the car we went to Adiati's house in Puri Anjasmoro Housing. After she was on board we went to Borobudur to join Magelang State Highschool Class 1974 Reunion. In Retnobroto's Toyota Kijang Innova car there were the driver, Retnobroto, Henni, Adiati, and me

It was about 08:15 when we departed from Puri Anjasmoro. We then led to Kusumastuti's house at Mutiara Sewakul Housing in Ungaran Barat. About 30 minutes later Kusumastuti was on board. We entered toll road at Ungaran Gate and exited at Bawen. We went through Ambarawa and Magelang. At Es Murni beverage shop on Jalan Sriwijaya Magelang we stopped by for having a break and taste our old time favorite drinks. About 30 minutes later we continued going to Borobudur. We traced national road to Blondo and turned to provincial road leading to Borobudur. At 11:30 we arrived at the venue, Nalaya Hotel on Jalan Balaputradewa Borobudur.

Many colleagues had been there, such as the organizing team (Susatyo, Sigit, Liem Chiean, Dyah Purwani, Winardi, Be Tjusuan, The Sioktin, Ong Swatbwee, Indahingsih, Nurul, Hartono, Suparno, Ong Pojong, Nurbayah, Susi, Trihandayani, Be Jaifang, Isa Ardani, Sri Rejeki, Much Slamet, Ihyaudin, etc) and the participants (Triheryanto, Hariarti, Jejet, Minuk, Susimastuti, Unandari, Seto, Endianto, Djoko Martianto, Johny, Risna, Nuryati, Kanti, The Hokhin, Dwihati, Rio, Winarno, Bambang Purwanto,). Aswati, Sri Sulistiyati, Adri, Sutono, Gatot, Yudi, Nunuk, Titin, and Anna came later. We were served with lunch.

After having lunch we got a break. I stayed in room Kresna 2 in sharing with Triheryanto, Adri, and Abdul Akbar. Because Adri moved to another room and Akbar did not show up, the room was occupied by me and Triharyanto

At 18:30 we gathered to joined convivial night. Sri Suharti came to join. Having dinner was the first item in the night. The team served us with chicken satay and other dishes. I tasted almost all dishes.

The second item was Susatyo's report on behalf of the organizing team. Then Seto also gave his speech as the chairman of the Class 1974 alumni association.

Finally, the entertainment item when alumni region groups delivered their presentation one after another and songs were presented by the artist and reunion participants. In the alumni region presentation I thought Adri and Anna who represented East Java region delivered the best show. They just sang several consecutive songs accompanied by some attractive movements. The worst presentation might be Semarang region who represented by me, Hariyoto, Adiati, Sri Suharti, Kusumastuti, Retnobroto, and Henni. We did linedance rehearsal in another room. About a half hour later Risnawati, the hubby Sunu, the sister Ellyn, Kanti Andiani, and Nuryati Laksmi. Adiati served us with a lot varieties of tasty dishes such as fried bago shrimps, smoked fish hot curry, and lodeh. About an hour later Wijaya Seta, Djoko Martianto, Rio Swastoyo, Endianto Masseh dropped by to join. The first and the second groups live in Jakarta, they were on their way to Magelang to go to join a reunion tomorrow.

Banking

It is Friday. The Yellow Friday (Sukra Palguna 13). In the morning at 6:15 I joined qigong session in the temple hall. When I arrived, Cikwan (林时观), Tedy, and Melani (廖梅琳) were in. Then Andhy, Lie Lietjen (李丽珍), the hubby Theng Tiongling (汤重宁), Sioeling (廖秀玲), and Boenmiauw (廖文茂) arrived. We practiced pengqi guanding (捧气贯顶) and first part of xingshen zhuang (形神庄).

At 11:45 I went to Masjid at Taqwa to join Friday congregational prayer. The preacher suggested jamaah to fulfill their words to Allah and human being.

At 13:15 I went to Bank BCA Pemuda to print my bankbook. Then I went to Bank Mandiri nearby to do the same. I moved the car to Bank Jateng Pemuda. In Bank Jateng I printed the bankbook. I walked to Bank BNI nearby to do the same.

Being At Home

It is Thursday. The Red Thursday (Respati Jenar 17). In the morning at 08:00 I accompanied Nuri going to Sisingamangaraja Guesthouse. I just dropped her there. She joined her peers that would go to Salatiga. They waited for her since they would depart at 08:00 and she arrived at the point at 08:05. In her absence I ironed my clothes dan wiped and mopped the floor.

At 14:45 I went to Warung Senggol Bu Lin kiosk to have late lunch. As usual I ate nasi mangut (rice with smoked fish curry). The price was up, from below Rp20.000 to Rp24.000.

Nordic Walking

It is Wednesday. The Sweet Wednesday (Buda Manis 12). At 08:00 I was in Trilomba Juang Stadium to join group practicing nordic walking. The instructur was Zaenal Achmad. The other participants Kusumaningdyah Zaenal, Mandagi, Chairijah Mandagi, Dewi Widodo, Yetti Sudiyanto, dsb. I walking tracing the running track for 3 times just to get used of nordic walking.

In the afternoon I received first term of payment for the work accompanying technical recommendation. I got Rp30.000.000 but then it was spreaded to Basa and Suprapto. The balance was Rp10.000.000. Lanjutannya...

Joining Qigong

It is Tuesday. The Loving Tuesday (Anggara Kasih 11). In the morning at 6:15 joined qigong in the temple hall. When I came Melani (廖梅琳) and Boenmiauw (廖文茂) were practicing qigong in the beginning part of pengqi guanding. Then Sioeling (廖秀玲) and Andhy came to join. After practicing pengqi guanding (捧气贯顶) we practiced first part of xingshen zhuang (形神庄).

After dhuhur time I ironed my clothes. Nuri was out for shopping snacks.

Renewing Driving Licence

At 10:00 I went to Town of Semarang Barat Police Sector Office on Jalan Ranggalawe Selatan to renew my driving licence due to its validity expiration on Agust the 8th. I found that the licence service was moved to a police post on Jalan MT Haryono. So, I went to the post in Simpanglima area, another but the nearest post. When I was there, it was crowded and I was suggested to come at 14:00. However, from the direction posted on the wall I found that I had to install Simpelpol application to get a doctor recommendation first. So, I followed the direction and the application was installed.

In the procees of signing up I had to download my picture of the half upper body so I went home to ask Nuri making the picture. After signing up I entered the health examination. I passed, I tried to take the result in the same day. I found that MT Haryono post would closed at 13:00 later than other 2 posts. I went there. A doctor served me by making several rechecking up. I had to pay Rp60.000. Then, a psycologist also examinated my psycological condition. I had to pay Rp75.000. Finally, I moved to other booths to pay licence of Rp80.000 and to make a picture of me. About 10 minutes later I got my new driving licence.

Before going back home I buy a plate of siomay from a street vendor. It was fair.
