Going To Manado

It is Thursday. I and Wahyudi (Kecuk) left the guesthouse at 01:15. Nendi accompanied us. At 02:00 we arrived at Terminal 2 Soekarno Hatta Airport. We had in line to get a Covid19 certificate clarification. After passing the clarification zone we entered the checking in desk. Our flight was Batik Air ID6280 secheduled to depart at 04:00. We would be boarding from Gate E6 and my seat would be 7F. I changed my seat to Wahyudi because he liked to be on a window seat. I would sit on his seat, 29C.

The Batik Airbus A320 took off on time at 04:00. There was no entertainment set on board. The carrier did not serve breafast meal, neither. They just distributed a box of a muffin and a bun for each passanger.

We landed on time at 08:00 local time. The local time was an hour ahead of Jakarta. Flori the driver picked me up. He is a nice guy. We had breakfast at a kiosk on the way to PP base camp. I had chicken porridge. It was good though the place was simple.

At 08:35 we arrived at PP base camp, at Paslaten Kauditan Kab Minahasa Utara. Andi Winarso accompanied us to the field. We visited Pakowa, Girian, and Danowudu bridges. We then were back to the camp.

About dhuhur time I, Wahyudi, and Flori went to a food stall for lunch. We continued going to the Balai office. Balai is Balai Wilayah Sungai Sulawesi 1, a river basins management office under the Ministry of Public Works and Housing. On the way we stopped by at Masjid Baiturrahman at Paniki Bawah Mapanget, Town of Manado. I paid my dhuhur and ashr prayers there. Before leaving I put a banknote into the infaq box.

At about 13:20 we arrived at the Balai office. I joined a meeting discussing the licence application for using water resources spaces. The meeting was attended by Bastari (the chief of Balai) along with Daniel the committee chair and his members, George Manurung (the president director of the toll road) long with Bambang Saptadi (the engineering director) and Jonathan Gultom (an engineering officer), Anang Sudarmawan, Andi Winarso (officers of PT PP - the contractor), and Wahyudi Kecuk. I underwent a presentation. I presented my analysis in hydrology, water surface elevation, and sediment transport. Many disputes arised concerning the data I used. At about 16:00 the meeting concluded with an understanding being continued with the team in the coming day.

The attendants dismissed. We went to the Hotel Whiz Prime Megamas for overnight. At about 18:00 we checked in. We got room 6018. In the evening we had nining at Dabu Dabu Lemong Resto nearby.
