Fasting

It was Thursday. It was the last day of the year 2015. I was fasting. In the morning I got up early to have breakfast. The menu was apple, egg terik dish and broccoli. After praying I slept again.

At noon Nuri went out for fruit shopping. I was still at home for debugging front yard. After maghrib time Bagus brought Dastan and Bibik to ErlanggA.

In the evening I went to bed early. I did not stick to find the minutes to end the year and enter the new year. I thought finding the times was as usual as the last year experience. Rahutama was home when I was sleeping.

Having Lunch Out

It was Wednesday. In the morning I went to the temple hall to join qigong. Nuri was still with her laziness. The participants were 12 people. We practiced chenqi, laqi, pengqi guanding, and sanxin zhuang. The laoshi Tan was in.

Before zuhr time I, Nuri, Dastan, and Bibik went out. We came to Germany Watch shop where Nuri renewed her watch battery. Nuri also came to the Satria to buy some items. We went to Banaran Cafe Trilombajuang to have lunch. Finally, we came to Bulu Market where Nuri bought red ginger.

At 17:00 Bagus fetched Dastan and Bibik. This night they were overnight at Erlangga

Joining Qigong

It was Tuesday. In the morning I went to the temple hall to join qigong. Nuri was still at home. The player was out of order so we lost much time. We only practiced pengqi guanding and part of xing shen zhuang.

Before zuhr time I and Nuri went out to settle several matters. We went to the Sehat Pharmacy to bought my medicines as prescribed by Doctor Sumanto. I spent more than Rp1.000.000 for a month medicines. At an electronic store in the Peterongan area we bought a telephone cord. The existing was broken. Then, we stopped by Ada Supermarket. Nuri shopped several items.

Seeing a Doctor

It was Monday. I got up in early morning to have breakfast. In the menu were apple, broccoli, and steamed egg. Today I was fasting.

At 09:30 I went to the lab. I stopped by an iron man to order 2 C shaped steel rod. It was just Rp5.000. In the lab it was feeling empty. The students were in but Pranoto seemed to be out. At 11:00 I went home.

At 16:00 Anindya was leaving for Jakarta. Bagus dropped her at the airport. The flight was at 17:00. At 18:30 Anindya told us she had arrived at her house in Jakarta.

At 20:00 I and Nuri went to Jalan Lampersari to see Doctor Sumanto. It was a routine control. I was in queue number 23. I waited not quite long. At 21:10 it finished. My blood pressure was 140/80. He prescribed biobran and protexin.

Rahutama Going to Jogja

It was Sunday. In the morning I made a morning walk. I traced the streets of Puspagiwang, Sudirman, and Bojongsalaman. I found that provision of the sidewalk of Sudirman Street had finished. However, I thought the work was bad. The level was graded according to the normal and stores levels, alternately, so it did not provide comfortable environment to the pedestrians.

At 10:00 Bibik arrived at home by bike service (ojek). She reported that her electronic identity card (e-KTP) had been issued. It was with her now.

At 11:00 I and Nuri went to Banyumanik to accompany Rahutama. He would go to Jogja by bus. After dropping him we shopped at Ada Supermarket Banyumanik. Then, we went down to the Kampungkali area where I pointed the dawet vendor to Nuri. Finally, we shopped vegetables and fruits at the Superindo Supermarket Atrium.

In the evening Anindya, Bagus, and Dastan were overnight at home again.

Being at Home

It was Saturday. The day was going as usual. In the morning I debugged the grass on the front yard. I liked to do it to train my patience and resilience.

At noon I went out to see the town atmosphere. The traffic was very low. I guessed people preferred being at home to outside. I found what Mr. Bondan's experience, the dawet vendor in front of Theresiana Secondary School.

In the evening Rahutama went out to join his friends. Anindya, Bagus, and Dastan were also being out.

Christmas Day

It was Friday. In the morning I, Nuri, Anindya, and Dastan accompanied Bibik to the bus stop at Banyumanik. Bibik would go back to Kebumen by a Sumber Alam minibus. At 06:05 the bus departed and we went home. We stopped by a bubur kacang hijau stall on Jalan Sukun to have it.

This day was Christmas Day. The town traffic were empty. Until 6 hours ago as reported by the television stations there had been traffic jams all over the intercity roads. We did not celebrate Christmas so we just enjoyed holiday at home.

In the evening I, Nuri, Anindya, Rahutama, and Dastan came to Florian Cafe on MT Haryono Street for dinner. Unfortunately, we did not find any meal, we just got variety of snacks.

Fasting

It was Thursday. I was fasting. In the morning I got up for having early breakfast. The menu was steamed egg and baby ercis stir fry. I slept again after dawn praying.

At 08:00 Pak Yus came to fix the air conditioners. In the recent 3 days the AC in my room was leaking, dripping water. He serviced also that in Anindya's room. At about 11:00 the work was done.

Gathering

It was Wednesday. I did not went to the lab. Anindya, Dastan, and Bibik came home. Anindya had arrived at Semarang at 02:00 in the early morning.

At 11:00 I accompanied Nuri to join the monthly gathering of ex water supply project employees' wives at the Kampungkali Fried Chicken resto. The host was Mr. and Mrs. Bharoto. Couples of Widodo and Yatin joined the gathering. Mrs. Arus came alone. I did not order any dish because I still had fish and chips at home. At 13:00 we dismissed.

I and Nuri went to a kid bike store on Jalan Depok. We want to buy one for Dastan. After we got a candidate we were home to bring Dastan. Anindya, Dastan, and Bibik were with us to see the store. Eventually, we bought a kid bike of Wimcycle production for Dastan. It costed Rp700.000.

At about 23:00 Rahutama arrived. Nuri picked him at Kariadi bus stop.

Going to the Lab

It was Tuesday. It was showering in the morning. Nuri said it was everyday showering. At 09:30 I went to the lab. The members were almost complete. Reza was absent. The work was slowing down. At 11:00 I and Putra went to the BPDAS Pemali Jratun to get some data. Mrs. Maryati was welcoming us.

We had socializing for a while and she promised to share the data after having permission with her supervisor. She will inform the progress soon. So, we were back to the lab. In the lab Pranoto told me about the obstruction to settle the report. It was the survey and mapping.

In the evening after maghrib time I and Nuri went to the Fish & Co Resto to have dinner. We ordered 2 packs of fish and chips. Nuri chose the New York while I did the Italian styles. They were big portions. We could not finish them so we brought the remaining. The check was Rp261.000. Wow, we felt like a wealthy couple.

Going Back to Semarang

It was Monday. After having breakfast we checked out. We led to the station. I bought a ticket for Semarang. It was an economic class, the Kamandaka Coaches, scheduled to depart at 11:00.

Because I still had spare time we went around to trace I and Adi childhood places. We saw the Javanese Christian Church that I used to sing as a choir member. We also saw the building used to be our elementary school, SD Kristen III, that shared with SD Kristen I. The building now was used as SD Kristen I. Finally, we came to Bambang Suprapto Street #7 that we used to be our home. From a becak operator we knew that our childhood friends had scattered to many places.

At 11:00 I departed for Semarang. The route was Bumiayu, Prupuk, Tegal, Pemalang, Pekalongan, Weleri, and Semarang Poncol. I arrived at 11:44, it was 5 minutes early. Nuri picked me home.

Going to Purwokerto

It was Sunday. At about 08:00 we checked out. We led to Cijulang to trace my childhood place. At 1957 I and Adi had been sharing our childhood there. According to Bulik Warti's information our house was close to the Cijulang railway station. We had been used to walk from the station to the house. The station now was ruining. The railway rail was abandoned at 1981.

Then, we went to the Pangandaran beach, about 17 km from Cijulang to the north east. The beach was crowded. To enter there a ticket of Rp20.000 was charged to us. We just passing by then leaving for Banjar.

On the way to Banjar we stopped 2 times to trace the railway track. The first stop was at the viaduct located before we came to the mountain area. The track had been covered by water. Some people used it as ponds. The second stop was at Emplak Kecamatan Kalipucang. We reached the Hendrik Tunnel, one of the three legendary tunnels. The two others were Juliana and Wilhelmina tunnels. The last was believed to the longest railway tunnel in Indonesia. After finishing with sight seeing we left for Banjar.

About an hour to reach Banjar. We had our lunch at Ibu Hajah resto. We paid our prayer there. After evaluating that no more points of interest in Banjar we went to Purwokerto. We traced the route of Wangon and Kebasen. At about maghrib time we arrived at the Hotel Besar.

The Hotel Besar was an old fashion hotel. It was clean, cozy, and cheap. The Wi-Fi access were good. I and Lik Santo were in room #9 while Adi and Rahutama shared room #16.

At 19:00 we were out. I looked for a ticket to Semarang in the morning but I missed. Then, we came to Witosari noodles house to have dinner. I and Adi did not order any dish. We still felt full.

Going to Pangandaran

It was Saturday. At 07:00 I, Lik Santo, and Adi went to Pangandaran. We stopped by Kutoarjo Station to pick up Rahutama. He started from Jogja. The route was Kutoarjo, Sampang, Maos, Jeruklegi, Sidareja, Pangandaran, and Cijulang. We stopped again at the Asli stall in Kutawinangun where Rahutama and Adi had breakfast. The next stop was a public fueling station before Sampang where we paid our prayer. We stopped at the Sendang Sinaga Resto in Jeruklegi to have lunch. At 17:00 we arrived at the Amazon Cottage in Cijulang area.

The cottage was a modest one. We shared a room. The cost was Rp487.962. It cleaned and cozy. However, it did not provide hunger for towels, tissue, and hot water. It provided a poor Wi-Fi assess. I graded it 7 out of 10.

Going to Salaman

It was Friday. In the morning it was showering. I thought it was the third morning with showering. Dastan was fetched by Mrs. Djoni. He and Bibik left home with her. I joined the Friday prayer in the masjid Attaqwa.

At 13:50 Nuri dropped me at the Banyumanik bus stop. I got a minibus for Salaman. It was a Sumber Alam minibus. It costed Rp55.000.

At 14:00 the minibus departed. It was on time. It was showering along the way. At 16:30 I arrived at Salaman. The showering changed to heavy rain. I waited at a store nearby until Lik Santo fetched me with an umbrella.

Fasting

It was Thursday. In the morning it was showering. I got up at 02:50 for having early breakfast. I was fasting today. I slept again after praying.

At 09:00 I got up. At 10:00 I went to the KIA Service Center to buy a spart part, KIA Rio antenna. It was for Lik Santo's car. Then I went to the Sumber Alam Travel to order a ticket to Salaman. The next destination was the lab. It was empty. So, I went home.

In the afternoon Dastan asked to brought him to the SMP Ekarini front yard for playing. He was so excited to be there. His ball was rolling into the culvert. I could not take it.

Morning Showering

It was Wednesday. In the morning it was showering. The morning was chill. I was reluctant to go for qigong so I continued my sleep.

Nuri went to Mrs. Yanto's house to gather with her socialites. I was still at home.

In the afternoon I brought Dastan to the Greget Dance House to introduce him to traditional dance. He was scared. Nuri was mad to Bibik because she dropped unintentionally a spot of sauce on her bag. This night Bagus was overnight at home.

Visiting Patient

In the morning I went to the temple hall to join qigong. The participants were only 6 people. We practiced chenqi, laqi, and pengqi guanding. After exercising we discussed Laoshi Li's lesson.

At 09:00 Dastan and Bibik came home accompanied by Om Benny. At 10:00 I went to the lab. There was no more busy. At 14:00 I left the lab.

At 17:00 I and Nuri went to the Elisabeth Hospital to visit Marcello Tegar Wibowo. He was hospitalized for high temperature. His parents, Dimas and Zilpa were with him. He was in the Room 202 Maria.

At 18:00 Bagus fetched Dastan and Bibik. This evening they were overnight at Erlangga.

Senin, 14 Desember 2015

Meeting

It was Monday. I was late to get up early to have breakfast, so I deliberately cancelled the fasting. I planned to give oral presentation this day.

At 09:00 I went to the lab. The branches of the mango tree were being cut to avoid disturbing to the car. So, I could not park on the usual place. I and Pranoto review the matters I would present to the audiences.

At12:00 after zuhr time we went to the Pemali Juana River Basins Management Office. On the way we had lunch at a soto stall. At 13:00 we arrived at the office.

At 13:40 the meeting was opened by Ms. Rantika. It was a meeting to discuss the draft final report on Detail Design of Glagah River Flood Control. I represented the consultant to give oral presentation in the beginning of the discussion. On the consultant side were Pranoto, Heriyan, Doni, Dirmawan, Suharyanto, and the students. On the client side were Rantika, Jeanny, Didit, Wahyu, Heri. On the stakeholders side were Nur Hidayat, Adi, and Anwar. The meeting ended at15:40.

It was heavy raining so I had to wait for it until stop. However, the showering was still heavy. I walked through the showering to get in the car

In the evening we came to the Shabu Zen Resto on Jalan Trilomba to have dinner celebrating Bagus' bithday. He was 30 years old. The other attendants were Anindya, Dastan, Bibik, Om Benny, Mr. and Mrs. Djoni. Dimas was absent because he was with his son, Marcelo, that was hospitalized in the Elisabeth Hospital.

This night at 11:30 Anindya went to Jakarta by train. She left Dastan and Bibik in Semarang

Joining a Wedding Party

It was Sunday. The Yellow-7 Sunday-5 (Ahad Pon 12). At 18:00 after maghrib time I and Nuri went to the Pringgading Resto to join a wedding party. It was organized by our qigong colleague, Liauw Sioeling 廖秀玲 and her hubby, Suryo Prayogo (Go Djietlien 吴日粦) to celebrate the marriage of their second child, Retno Susilowati (Inge - Go Lin-in - Wu Linyin .吴霖音). She married to Matthew Johar Kohana (Kho Ik-hian - Xu Yuxian 许裕賢). It was a banquet. The participants were almost all from the chinese ethnic group that tolerated to piggery products. The hosts recognized my faith forbid them, so they provided a vegetarian table for us.

In the morning I made a morning walking to the Balad Store area. After showering I went to the Bima Sakti Car Washing Station to clean the car.

At 11:00 I and Nuri accompanied Rahutama to Banyumanik area. He would go to Jogja. After dropping him there we went to the Sehat Pharmacy to buy medicines. On the way home we bought some pempek at Musi Kiosk on Jalan Kaligarang. Lanjutannya...

Anindya Coming

It was Saturday. In the morning at 05:15 I left the house to make morning walk. I traced the streets of Pamularsih, Basudewa, Sudirman, and Bojongsalaman. It was along the riverside of the West Flood Canal. It took 50 minutes. On the way I met pak Legimin the guy in the lab.

After walking I wiped and mopped the floor. It was to welcome Dastan who would come from Jakarta. And that was true, after finishing mopping Dastan came accompanied by Anindya, Bagus, and Bibik. Bagus had fetched them from the airport. Dastan looked so cute and I loved him very much.

At 08:30 I went to the Pandanaran Public Health Center (Puskesmas) to check my blood pressure. It was 120/70. The doctor allowed me to quit amlodipin 5mg.

After for a while at home I went to a warung tegal on the Suyudono street. I had breakfast there. When I arrived at home again Dastan, Anindya, Bagus, and Bibik had left for Erlangga.

At 17:00 I and Nuri came to the Angkringan Polke on Pamularsih street. It was like a cafe where we could order nasi kucing, drink, and Javanese snacks. It was cool. Then, we left for Indosat customer service at Pandanaran street. I and Nuri wanted to change our simcards to a 4G compatible ones. Because our turns were so long behind we left. We went to the Ada supermarket. When Nuri was coming in to buy snacks I was still in the car, waiting.

Rahutama then told us he was walking to get home. So, we fetched him at Jalan Puspanjolo Selatan. After arriving at home Rahutama went to the Convention Hall of Masjid Agung to join the wedding party of his school mate. Lanjutannya...

Last Preparation

It was Friday. At 08:40 I went to the lab. The lab members were complete. We discussed the matters for presentation. At zuhr time I joined the Friday prayer in a masjid in the Engineering Faculty area. At 14:30 left the lab for home.

Kamis, 10 Desember 2015

Meetings

It was Thursday. I joined two consecutive meetings. The first meeting was the fourth plenary meeting of Central Java Water Resources Council (Dewan SDA Provinsi Java Tengah) and the second one was an internal meeting for Glagah Flood Control Detail Engineering Design. The Dewan SDA plenary meeting was organized in the Wadaslintang Room at the Dinas PSDA Office chaired by Mr. Prasetyo. The meeting was discussing 4 matters: (1) Report of Special Committee on Soker Toll Road Arising Problems, (2) Wrapping Up of Management Basins Pattern, (2) Currents Issues on Water Resources Management, and (4) 2016 Council Working Plan. The meeting started at 19:00 and ended at 13:00. I was there to assist the secretariat providing the meeting record.

The second meeting was in the Operation Room of Pemali Juana River Basins Management Office (BBWS Pemali Juana) to discuss the consultant's preparation to present the final design. It was chaired by Ms. Rantika and participated by Didit, Tika, Pranoto, Ms. Wati, A. ndrew, Putra, Reza, and started at 14:30 ended at 16:00.

In the morning I got up at 02:50 to have early breakfast. My diet was banana, steamed egg, dan sprout stir fry. This day I conducted voluntary fasting as did by the Prophet Muhammad.

General Election

It was Wednesday. In the morning I and Nuri went to the temple hall to join qigong. The participants were 14 people. We practiced chenqi, laqi, pengqi guanding, and sanxin bing zhanzhuang.

This day was a special holiday to give people time to put their votes to choose governors, regents, and mayors. There were more than 200 territory heads elected today. People named as a democracy extravagant. In Semarang Mr. Hendy were elected as the mayor. It would be his second time in service.

At 11:00 I dropped Rahutama at a Banyumanik bus stop. He would go to Jogja.

Finishing a Report

It was Tuesday. In the morning I and Nuri joined qigong exercise in the temple hall. The paticipants were 11 people. We practiced chenqi, pengqi guanding, and sanxin bing zhanzhuang.

At 09:30 I and Rahutama went to the campus. I got off at the lab and Rahutama continued to go to the administration building. He processed his diploma duplicate. At 14:30 Rahutama fetched me home.

Today I finished the supporting report of watershed conservation. This report was one of several reports supporting the Glagah Flood Control Design Final Report.

In the afternoon I forward the December salary for Mr. Hidayat. The salary had came into my account yesterday morning. It was the last salary of the contract of dry season monitoring.

Breaking Fasting

It was Monday. As usual I got in the morning to have early breakfast. Broccoli and steamed egg were in the diet. I slept again after dawn praying.

At 09:00 I went to the lab. The members were complete. At 12:00 after zuhr praying Pranoto suggested to have nasi soto for the lunch. As recommended by the syari I welcomed the suggestion. I broke my fasting. We had nasi soto in a kiosk on the side of Tembalang Street. The dish was ok. At 16:00 I left the lab.

Breakfast Gathering

It was Sunday. At 00:20 the train arrived at the Tawang station. Rahutama fetched me. I was back to the coach feeling that my hat had left behind but I did not find it. We then, went to Simpanglima food court. I had some pecel for my late dinner. Following arriving at home I prayed then slept.

At 06:30 I woke up. I lost my dawn prayer. I prepared myself to join my colleagues. At 07:40 I went to Pudakpayung. I joined Priyo, Yatin, Widodo, and Eryanto at Banyumanik. We came to Suhartono's house in Pudakpayung area.

Suhartono and his wife were at their house. They served us with good breakfast menu: rice, fried tempe and tofu, bothok (steamed spicy coconut grating), and gudangan (mix of coconut grating and vegetables). Husni and Ngadiyono then joined us. We had social chats about our era work.

At 09:50 I arrived at home again. Rahutama had gone to Wonosobo to join his friend's wedding party. I slept to continue my rest.

Joining a Wedding Party.

It was Saturday. In the morning I had breakfast in the hotel. It was a very simple diet. At 10:00 Anindya picked me up to her boarding house. I met Dastan again. As usual he was cute.

At 11:30 Anindya, Dastan, and Bibik accompanied me to a Multipurpose Building on Jalan Manila, Senayan. I joined a wedding party organized by Sutono to celebrate the marriage of his son, Aditya Suharsono. He married to Ensa Ananda Siregar. As usual, the wedding party was a reunion session. I met Yati, Ipung, Ade, Totok, Seta, Wury, Gowik, Wiwik, and Johny. I also met Cendy and Pentadi. At 13:00 I left the venue.

I joined Anindya, Dastan, and Bibik again. We went to the Pasaraya Sarinah Manggarai to buy Dastan's clothes. Dastan was so active and occasionally he was mad. At 15:15 we left the store for Gambir Station. They accompanied me till the gate of the waiting room.

At 16:15 the Argo Sindoro Coaches departed for Tawang Station. However, it stopped at around Cipinang because the locomotive failed. We need time to replace it. At 18:32 we continued to go.

Going to Jakarta

It was Friday. In the morning Nuri dropped me at the Tawang Station. By Argo Sindoro Coaches I went to Jakarta. The train departed at 06:00 and arrived at the Jatinegara Station at 12:00. It almost on time.

I had lunch in a padangese resto near by. I also issued a return ticket. The price was the same, Rp310.000. Then I checked in the Pop Hotel Tebet. At 13:00-15:00 I went to Menteng Pulo to see Dastan. Dastan was cute and funny.

At 20:00 I joined a gathering at the Urban Kitchen Resto in the Pacific Place Building. Ade, Seta, Endi, Ipung were joining. At 22:00 we moved to the Coffee Bean Cafe. Peni (Seta's wife) and her sister in-law were then joining. Seta covered all the checks. We just shared our experiences and opinions. We had lot of fun. At 23:00 we dismissed. Endi dropped me at the hotel.

Fasting

It was Thursday. I got up in the morning at 02:50 for early breakfast. At 04:30 I slept again.

Nuri went out again to complete her stuff. I was at home to wipe and mop the floor. Then, I slept after zuhr praying.

After breaking fasting I and Nuri went to the Poncol Station to buy a ticket for Jakarta. Unfortunately, the ticket booth closed. The clerk told it opened from 09:00 to16:00. Then I went to an Indomart Counter nearby. I bought it in full price Rp310.000. I would get a discount if I bought it from the PTKAI directly.

Seeing a Doctor

It was Wednesday. In the morning I went to the temple hall to join qigong. On the way there I refilled the car with pertalite at the Indraprasta PFU.

The participants were 14 people. We practiced chenqi, laqi, pengqi guanding, and zhan zhuang. After exercising Melani distributed variety of cakes. It was her birthday. I delivered the wishes shengri kuaile.

At 09:30 I went to the Pandanaran Public Health Center (Puskesmas) to control my blood pressure. It was 120/90. Doctor Retno suggested me to see the doctor again a week later.

At 11:00 I went to the lab. The members were complete. I went back home at 14:00. Nuri went to Ada Supermarket for monthly shopping.

Withdrawing Salary

It was Tuesday. I was absent to join qigong. At 09:00 I went to the lab. The members were complete. At 10:00 I and Pranoto went to the Management Office to see Ms. Rantika, Mr. Didit, and Mr. Wahyu. We were discussing the schedule for final report presentation.

On the way back to the lab I got off at the Bank Jateng Tembalang. I withdrew the salary. It was a quick process. After concluding I was back to the lab, walking. At 16:00 I went back home.

It was Monday. In the morning I got up at 02:50 for having early breakfast. My diet was apple, steamed broccoli, steamed egg. I slept after prayer.

At 09:00 I went to the lab. The members were complete. There were Pranoto, Ms. Wati, and the students. At 16:15 I went back home.

Welcoming Guests

It was Sunday. In the morning I walked through streets and alleys around the house. I left the house at 08:05 and arrrived at the house again at 08:55.

At 10:00 I and Nuri went to the Ciputra Mall for sight seeing. Because of failing to get a parking space we cancel to get there. We went to Superindo Supermarket for fruit shopping.

At arriving at home Mbak Bik told us that there had been 4 people came. Nuri then asked Asri that told Bulik Earth, Paklik Santo, Adi, and Kanti came. We went to Asri 's house to meet them.

We realized Fitri was also there. After chatted for a while we went to Gapura Resto on Jalan Anjasmoro to have lunch. Argi, Aly, and Zaky were also with us. The resto served us nice food at a low price. For 11 people I spent Rp264.500.

Asri, Argi, Aly, Zaky, and Fitri left the resto for Asri's house, the rest came to the home. Fitri and Kris then joined us. Kris was looked unhealthy. At about 15:30 they left home.

Going to Kreo Cave

It was Saturday. At 05:30 I went to the Kreo Cave to join my colleagues to walk around. They were Soewono, Yatin, Priyo, Chalim, and Widodo. The cave was on the middle of the Jatibarang Reservoir. It was connected to the edge by a bridge. The cave was in a small hill. Many long tail monkeys live there.

After waking we had nasi soto at Soto Pak Mul shop on Jalan Abdurrahman Saleh. The soto was good, so was the fried tempe.

Then, we visited Suhardi on Jalan Muradi I to give support to his spirit. He had been suffering from stroke for a long time. After a half hour we dismissed.

Meeting

It was Friday. In the morning Nuri went to the temple hall to join qigong. I was still at home. After Nuri arrived at home again I went to the office for a meeting.

It was the vehicle free day in the office so I parked my car on the next shoulder area of the street in front of the office. Sonhaji and Indra guided me. The last Friday of a month was the car free day of the government office in Central Java.

It was a meeting of the provincial water resources council special committee that organized in the Kedungombo Room. It was chaired by Mr. Suhartono started at 10:30 to hear the explanation of the manager of Solo - Kertosono Toll Road.

The manager acknowledged there were several mistakes in the construction of the road especially on the provision of water work crossing. He also aware that the mistakes had arised several problems on the land drainage and irrigation system. He was engaging the corrections on them.

The meeting was concluded at 11:45. I was in hurry to leave the office for home. I was late on joining the Friday prayer procession in Attaqwa Masjid, that meaned the preach was being delivered when I arrived at the masjid.

In the afternoon Nuri went out to settle several matters.

Fasting

It was Thursday. In the morning I got up to have an early breakfast. I was fasting. My diet was pear, steamed egg, and steamed broccoli.

At 09:00 I went to Pleburan area to print a manual. At 10:30 I was arrived at the lab. The members were complete. Pranoto, Ms. Wati, and students were in. I settled the conservation report, in rough. At 16:00 I went back home.

Seeing a Doctor

It was Wednesday. In the morning I went to the temple hall to join qigong. The participants were 11 people. We practiced chenqi, laqi, pengqi guanding, and zhan zhuang.

At 10:30 I went to the Pandanaran Community Health Center to control myself. It was a monthly control. My blood pressure was 110/80. Doctor Antonia was in charge. She suggested me to come 3 days later to check again my blood pressure. I might be not need amlodipin again.

Rahutama Going to Jogja

It was Tuesday. In the morning I went to the temple hall to join qigong. The participants were 14 people. We practiced chenqi, laqi, pengqi guanding, and zhan zhuang.

At 09:00 I and Rahutama went again to the campus. He wanted to settle his matters. In the lab the students were complete. Andreas reported that there was a complaint from Ms. Jeanny. At 14:00 I and Rahutama left the campus. I dropped him at the Ada bus stop. He continued to go to Jogja.

In the evening I and Nuri went to the Pizza Hut Pandanaran counter to have dinner. We took a package of Rp70.000.

Fasting

It was Monday. I was fasting. In the morning I got up for having early breakfast. The menu was an apple for the beginning then followed by broccoli and steamed egg after a while.

At 09:00 I went to the lab accompanied by Rahutama. Rahutama was in the campus to get a paper explaining the lost of his diploma. In the lab the students were complete. However, the work seemed scarce. I and Rahutama went home at 14:00.

At 17:40 I broke the fasting. Nuri made me sweet of green beans.

Watching a Movie

It was Sunday. In the morning I made a morning walk again. The route was to the west then to the south. It was just Jalan Puspawarna Selatan, Jalan Puspagiwang, Jalan Sudirman, Jalan Puspanjolo Tengah, and Jalan Puspanjolo Timur. I also stopped by the Puspanjolo Selatan street market to buy cassava granules. I consumed it with pecel for my breakfast.

At 11:00 Rahutama dropped me at the Paragon Mall. I want to see a movie. There are 4 screens in the 21 cineplex theatre. Three of them played a same title of movie. The other screen played Spectre, a James Bond serial which I watched. It started at 12:00. For about 30 minutes I was in queue to get a ticket of Rp60.000. I got a ticket at about front row. I was little bit nuisance but satisfied.

After the movie I went back home. I took the Semarang Busway from the Gramedia Stop to the Karangayu Market Stop. Then, I walked to get home. I was so sweaty because the day was hot and humid. Lanjutannya...

Being at Home

It was Saturday. In the morning I made a morning walk tracing the West Floodway. It started from Jalan Pamularsih Dalam to Jalan Pamularsih, turned to Jalan Basudewa, Jalan Sudirman and Jalan Bojongsalaman. I stopped by South Puspanjolo street market to buy sweeted sticky rice (ketan kincau) for Nuri, steamed maize (blendung) and cassava granules (oyek) for me. I was still at home in the remaining time. Meeting

It was Friday. In the morning I and Nuri went to the temple hall to join qigong. The participants were 14 people. We practiced chenqi, laqi, pengqi guanding, and sanxin zhan zhuang. We had a discussion afterward.

At 09:30 Rahutama dropped me at the Water Resources Authority office. I joined a meeting organized by Sutrisno. The other participants were Niken, Sutrisno, Agus, Ketut Artana, and Suhartono. We discussed the preparation for the 4th plenary meeting of the Water Resources Council and the continuing meeting of special committee. At 11:00 the meeting concluded. At 11:45 Rahutama picked me up.

I joined the Friday prayer in the masjid Attaqwa. The preacher reminded us to conserve our environment.

Fasting

It was Thursday. In the morning at 02:50 I got up for having early breakfast. My menu was apple, boiled egg, and vegetable dish.

At 09:00 I went to the lab. The lab was non-active because the power shutdown. So, I went home. At home I dropped a message for Putra. Nuri went out to shop fabric for her hobby.

At 21:00 we picked Rahutama up at Indomart Point on Jalan Wahidin. He just arrived from Jogja.

Going to the Lab

It was Wednesday. In the morning I and Nuri joined qigong in the temple hall. The participants were about 15 people. We practiced chenqi, laqi, and pengqi guanding. We discussed our exercise at the end.

At 10:00 I went to the lab. The members were complete. At 16:00 I went home. I top up my e-money in an Indomart spot. I used Jatingaleh - Manyaran toll road to reach home.

Gathering

It was Tuesday. In the morning at 09:00 I and Nuri went out to settle several businesses. We went to the BNI and Mandiri Banks on Jalan Pamularsih. She changed the pin numbers. Then, we went to Sendok Bebek Resto to join monthly gathering of ex water supply project employees' wives. The participants were Mr. Tarsono, Mr. Bharoto, Mr. Yatin, Mrs. Sumaryati, Mrs. Yatin, Mrs. Bharoto, Mrs. Arus, and Mrs. Surjadi. They mostly ordered noodles, but I just ordered a cup of coffee. At 13:00 we dismissed.

On the way home we stopped by the Superindo Supermarket. We shopped fruits.

This day in the lab there were 2 agenda, casual meeting with El Idris and joining Me. Wati's lunch gathering.

No Fasting

It was Monday. I got up late so I missed my early breakfast. I cancelled my plan to be fasting today.

At 10:30 I went to the lab. The students, Ms. Wati, and Pranoto were in. This day I learned to calculate the runoff curve number. I downloaded a paper about it. At 16:00 I left the lab.

Welcoming Guests

It was Sunday. At 06:00 we exercised together in an indoor tennis lane. It was the part of the villa. The villa was also completed with a swimming pool and a pond of Koi fish. So we were here in a good mood.

This day I joined to two lessons. The morning (09:00 - 12:00) and the afternoon (15:00 - 17:00) sessions. At 18:30 I left the villa for going back to Semarang. I left the last two sessions, the evening and the next day morning sessions.

Two people were with me to Semarang, Sunaryo and Ani. Sunaryo was an employee to BSB. He got off at Kariadi junction. Ani was a cosmetic supplier employee. She got off at Ada Banyumanik juction.

I arrived at home at 20:00. Anindya and the gang had left the house for Jakarta. They took of at 20:00 from the Ahmad Yani airport.

At about 20:15 Bona Agung and his family visited us. The family were his wife, daughter, his sister, his brother in law, and his 3 nephews. We involved in long chat sharing our experience. At 23:30 they left the house for Magelang.

Going to Bandungan

It was Saturday. In the morning Anindya arrived at home. She just came from Jakarta. Bagus, Dastan, and Bibik fetched her at the airport. She was at home for a while just to show up and deliver some 'oleh-oleh', then, they went out.

At about12:00 I came to Cak Rus Barbershop to trim my hair. There we a man before my turn so at 13:20 I settled with the business.

At 13:40 I left home for Bandungan to join qigong gathering. Though I passed through the Jatingalih - Bawen toll road I arrived at the place at 15:00. The place was a good and spacious villa in front of the Permata Biru Hotel. A session with Laoshi Li Yong Xi was just starting.

The laoshi in Mandarin told us that the basis of qigong was love. Because of love we will be easily receiving qi into our body. A gentleman translated his lesson bulky to Bahasa Indonesia. The lesson ended at 17:00. After having a rest and dinner the lesson continued again at 20:00 - 22:00.

This evening I was overnight in the villa. I shared a room to other 5 people. They were Sunaryo, Tjong Bun, Ting Djwan, Hasan, and John. Bandungan was not chill so I did not need a special clothes.

Joining Qigong

It was Friday. In the morning I went to the temple hall to join qigong. The participants were about 10 people. We practiced chenqi, pengqi guanding, and short xingshen zhuang. After the practice Melani gave me schedule of our practice in Bandungan on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

At 09:15 I went to the lab. Pranoto and the students were in. I and Pranoto joined the Friday prayer in the campus masjid. After praying we had lunch in the department canteen. At 14:00 I left the lab.

Meeting

It was Thursday. In the morning at 02:50 I got up to have early breakfast. Today I am intentionally fasting. It was a voluntary fasting. My menu was boiled egg and steamed white bokchoy. I slept again after having dawn prayer.

At 08:50 Nuri dropped me at the Water Resources Agency office. I joined the third meeting of provincial water resources council as the secretariat expert. The meeting started at 10:00 was chaired by Mr. Suhartono.

Seeing the Doctor

It was Wednesday. At 06:30 I and Nuri went to the Kariadi Hospital Garuda Clinic to enlist my name to see Doctor Suharti. Because we had put my name by phone yesterday in an hour I got enlisted. Then, I went to the lab to put my blood sample. At 08:30 we went home.

At 11:30 we went again to the hospital. My blood examination had come to the result. We brought it to the doctor. We need to wait for my turn for about 15 minute. The doctor team (Doctor Suharti and two other doctors) told that everything was ok. My blood pressure was 130/90. They pleased me to come again 3 months later.

We then went to the Sehat Pharmacy to took medicines based on Doctor Sumanto's prescription. They were biobran and lacidofil for a month. The last medicines run out today. They costed Rp800.000.

In the afternoon I debugged the front yard.

Visiting a Dam

It was Tuesday. At 08:30 I went to the Jatibarang Dam site to see Mr. Prapto. On the way there, in front of the Sanbaogong temple Mr. Subagyo joined. At about 08:50 we arrived at the consultant office in the dam site. Mr. Prapto was ready.

After a short chat we went to the dam structure. We entered to the gallery, a corridor at the bottom of the structure. So we had to walked down following the steps for about 50 meters. An instrument technician accompanied us while in the same time he recorded the figures showed by the instruments. He showed variety of piezometer readings. The pore pressure readings were also explained. About an hour we were inside and we felt the surrounding were humid. I was sweated.

After leaving the gallery we went to the Dam Maintenance Office where instruments readings were also installed. Unfortunately, although the hardwares seemed to be installed, the softwares were still unready.

At last we had young coconuts at the dam sight area where some vendors provided. We also took pictures of long tail monkeys scattered on the area. At 11:30 I and Mr. Subagyo left the area.

Officing

It was Monday. I was not fasting because I do not feel good. At 08:15 I went to the lab. The lab was complete. At 16:00 I went home.

On arriving at home Nuri told me Dastan was suspected diarrhea. However, he appeared himself as in good condition. Before maghrib Bagus fetch him for overnight in Erlangga. Bibik accompanied him.

Children Going

It was Sunday. At 10:00 I, Nuri, Dastan, and Bibik accompanied Anindya to the airport. She would go to Jakarta by A Citilink carrier. After checking in it was announced the flight was delayed. So, we went back home. At 12:30 Nuri, Dastan, and Bibik accompanied her to the airport again.

In the afternoon I accompanied Rahutama to Banyumanik bus stop. He would go to Jogja. On arriving at home I accompanied Dastan to the front yard of the SMP Ekarini. He gathered with other children of older than him. He was so excited.

Dining Out

It was Saturday. At 10:00 I went to the Poncol Station to fetch Nuri. She and Bu Kus would be arriving at 10:00 at the station by Maharani Couches. On waiting them I had breakfast in the Sidorejo Foodstall. At 10:45 the train they arrived.

At about 13:00 Anindya, Bagus, Bibik, and Dastan came. Anindya, Dastan, and Bibik were just arriving from Jakarta. They got breakfast before coming home.

In the afternoon I cancelled my plan to have and afternoon walk. The reason was that the rain was just to be coming.

At 19:00 I, Nuri, and Rahutama had dinner in the Godongsalam Resto. We ordered crispy fried carp, genjer stir fry, and calamari in Singaporean sauce. They were all ok. We spent Rp210.000.

Walking

It was Friday. In the morning at 08:45 I went to the lab. The students were complete. The lecturers were not in. At 11:30 I went back home. At 12:10 I joined the Friday prayer at the Masjid Attaqwa.

At 16:30 I made an afternoon walk. It took 50 minutes. I felt ok afterward. At 18:00 the rain dropped. It was a heavy rain.

Rahutama Coming

It was Thursday. In the morning I woke up for having early breakfast. I was fasting. The menu was boiled egg and bitter cucumber.

At 11:00 I went to Construction Service Institute to pick my assessor certificate. Ms. Nur was welcoming me.

At 18:00 after breaking fasting I picked Rahutama on Jalan Wahidin. He just arrived from Jogja. We had dinner in a warung tegal.

In the evening at 23:00 the rain dropped. It was the first heavy rain.

Nuri Going to Surabaya

It was Wednesday. At 10:00 I accompanied Nuri and Bu Kus going to the station. They would be going to Surabaya by train. Two tickets costed Rp60.000 each had been issued for them. I just dropped them in the Poncol Station. The train would depart at 11:40.

Then, I went to the lab. Again there were students working there. I was there till 15:00. I went back through the toll road. I exited from the Manyaran Gate.

On Site Meeting

It was Tuesday. I went to Boyolali to join the special committee meeting. They were part of the water resources council. The meeting was organized in the site office of Gandul Teamwork from 10:40 to 12:00. The committee members were Mr. Suhartono, Mr. Samidi, Mr. Harun, etc. They discussed about the malfunction of tertiary channel due to toll road construction. We then saw the problem in field.

On the way back home I was in the same car with Mr. Suhartono, Mr. Heri, and Mr. Agus. At maghrib time I arrived at home.

Fasting

It was Monday. At 02:50 I got up to have early breakfast. I was fasting today. I slept again after having breakfast.

At 08:00 I went to the lab. The students were in. The lecturers were not in. At 16:05 I went back home.

During lab time I went to the Bank Jateng in the Polytechnic campus to widraw my pension salary. Doing banking here was more comfortable than that at the bank head office because the line was shorter. I was there for about 15 minutes to settle the business.

Dining Out

It was Sunday. In the morning I made a morning walk through Jalan Puspowarno, Jalan Sudirman, and Jalan Basudewo. On Jalan Basudewo I bought nasi pecel for our breakfast.

At noon I searched my books about forestry and hydrology but I couldn't find them. Nuri helped me to search.

In the evening I and Nuri went out for having dinner. We got in the Gapura Resto on Jalan Anjasmoro. I selected vegetables rice while Nuri ordered calamari rice. Both of them were tasty.

It was Saturday. In the morning I made a morning walk tracking the floodway side. On the way home I bought blendung and tiwul. They traditional snacks I liked.

At home we just prepared to welcome Dastan but then Anindya told us that they cancelled to come.

It was Friday. In the morning I and Nuri went to temple hall to join qigong exercise. The participants were 9 people. We practiced chenqi, pengqi guanding, and short xingshen zhuang.

At home, I wiped and mopped the floor. We speculated Dastan would come tomorrow. So, I did so. At zuhr time I joined the Friday prayer in the Masjid Attaqwa close to home.

Fasting

It was Thursday. I was fasting. In the morning I got up at 02:50 to have an early breakfast. In the menu were curd of coconut grating and soli bean, boiled egg, and kidney bean soup. I slept again after breakfast.

At 10:00 Nuri went to Kampungkali Chicken Resto to join the ex water supply project employees wives monthly gathering. The host was Ms. Widodo. I didn't join it because of fasting.

In the afternoon there was a technician repaired our telephone line. Meanwhile, Nuri went to see Doctor Lilin to check her reproduction organ. It was a routine. Just before maghrib the line was on service.

After maghrib the power line were down for about 2 hour. When Nuri arrived at home the power was still down.

Going Around

It was Wednesday. In the morning I and Nuri went to the temple hall to join qigong exercise. The participants were about 10 people. We practiced chenqi, laqi, and pengqi, guanding. After session we discussed the plan for workshop in Bandungan. I declared myself to join.

On the way home we stopped at Gang Pinggir Market. Nuri bought banana. At arriving home I wiped the floor. I wanted to continue to mop it but Nuri reminded me we had a plan to go out.

There were many things we settled. At first we bought a new Three SIMcard for Nuri's handset. She installed it for her internet use. Then, we went to the Elisabeth Hospital to endorse my reference paper. We continued to go to the Kariadi Hospital to ask the way to examine my blood sample in insurance coverage. After that, we went to the Telkom Customer Support to report our home telephone disorder. At 13:00 we had lunch in the Jambo Aye stall in Wonodri area. It was an Atjeh styled food stall. We had chaomian and plain tea. Finally, we came to the BNI Bank, Pandanaran to renew my bank book. We waited for about an hour till I got my turn.

On arriving at home I mopped the floor. As usual I was satisfied to my work.

It was Tuesday. In the morning I went to the temple hall to join qigong. The participants were 9 people. We practiced chenqi, laqi, and pengqi guanding. Usually, we practiced short xingshen zhuang at the but not this day. The participants then discussed our plan to welcome an instructor from China.

At 09:30 I went to the lab. I continued to work on conservation. At 11:00 I and Pranoto went to the Management Office to see the directing team. We saw Ms. Rantika, Ms. Ika, etc. We discussed the laboratory test. On the back to the lab we had lunch at the Kabul Soto stall. At 16:00 I went home. I bought some bread in the Fancy Bakery, Ngesrep.

In the evening Asri came. I, Nuri, and her had chat about her kid.

It was Monday. I got up at 02:50 to have early breakfast. A boiled egg and caisim dish were in my menu. Then, I slept again.

At 08:00 I went to the lab. I still worked on the conservation. At 12:00 Mr. Hidayat came to get my signature on the documents. They were invoices for October and November. At 16:00 I went back home.

Being at Home

It was Sunday. In the morning I made a morning walk through alleys north parallel to Jalan Sudirman. I also crossing the street through the pathway under the Kanalbanjir Barat bridge. On Jalan Bojongsalaman I met a mayor campaign organized by PKS party. At the street market on Jalan Puspanjolo Selatan I bought blendung and thiwul.

Nuri made caisim dish for our breakfast. After zuhr time a delivery car came to deliver our new television. In the evening I and Nuri installed the television. We enjoyed it. The remaining day I was at home.

Buying a Television

It was Saturday. This day I settled many things. In the morning I made a morning walk for about 50 minutes. On the way home I bought I bought a pressured milk fish. It was what Nuri asked. I also bought a pack of cassava granules (thiwul).

After getting rest for a while I washed the car. It was about 3 weeks from the time it got washed. I was satisfied to see the result.

After zuhr time I accompanied Nuri to surveyed a flat tv. We put our choice to a Sony R300B TV offered in the Global Electronic. It costed Rp 3.100.000.

In the afternoon I watered the front yard and plants in the pots. I also cleaned the gutter in front of the house.

In the evening I and Nuri went the electronic store again. We paid of the television. We asked the clerk to deliver it tomorrow.

Meeting

It was Friday. In the morning I went to the temple hall to join qigong. Nuri was still at home. The participants were 13 people. I took 2 movements: chenqi and pengqi guanding. I left the session before it concluded because I had to join a meeting.

I joined a meeting in the Water Resources Agency Office, Council Secretariat from 08:30 to 11:00. The other participants were Mr. Suhartono, Mr. Agus, Mr. Sutrisno, and Niken. We discussed agenda for the third plenary meeting.

I joined the Friday prayer in the Masjid Attaqwa. I felt good to go there and walked up home.

In the evening I and Nuri went to the Hypermart in Paragon Mall and an electronic store on Jalan Gagah Mada to see a 32" television.

Fasting

It was Thursday. I was voluntary fasting. I got up at 02:50 for having an early breakfast. I consumed lacidofil then after a while an apple got the turn. I also consumed a steamed egg and vegetable dish. I forgot to consumed biobran.

I was at home while Nuri went out to shop in the Ada Supermarket. I wiped and mopped the floor. I was so satisfactory to finish the work.

At maghrib time I broke my fasting by consuming papaya.

Meeting

It was Wednesday. In the morning I and Nuri went to the temple hall to join qigong. The participants were 12 people. We practiced chenqi, laqi, short pengqi guanding, and sanxin bingzhan zhuang.

After being home Mrs. Widodo came. She gave money to Nuri for her share in the monthly gathering. Nuri would join the monthly gathering of the alumni wives.

At 08:30 I went to the lab. I, Ms. Wati, Pranoto, and students had a meeting to evaluate our progress. At 15:45 I went home.

Being in the Lab

It was Tuesday. In the morning I went to the temple hall to join qigong. The participants were 15 people. We practiced chenqi, laqi, pengqi guanding, and short xingshen zhuang. At the end of the session I gave Rp100.000 to Melani to pay my monthly contribution. The last paying off was till November 2015. Melani mentioned there would be any addition on the next year contribution.

At 09:30 I went to the lab. I used the toll road from the Manyaran toll gate. I was in the lab till 16:00. In the lab I still worked on the basin conservation.

Anindya Going to Jakarta

It was Monday. I was fasting. In the morning I got up at 02:50 for having early breakfast. After consuming lacidofil I had an apple. I then had a vegetable dish and a steamed egg. I closed the breakfast by administering a tablet of biobran.

At 08:30 I went to Puskesmas (public health center) Pandanaran to check my blood pressure. I got turn #113 and the turn #32 was being called. So, I waited for about 2 hours to get seeing the doctor. My blood pressure was 110/70. Doctor Retno prescribed amlodipin 5mg for a month and issued a referring letter to the higher level hospital. At zuhr time I arrived at home.

At 02:30 I and Nuri accompanied Anindya, Dastan, and Bibik to the airport. They would go to Jakarta. After being with them for a while in the airport we went back home.
At 03:30 I came to Sana Farma Pharmacy to get the medicine had been prescribed. I was the only person was served. I guessed the peak hour had passed.

Being at Home

It was Sunday. In the morning I made a morning walk through Jalan Sudirman for about 50 minutes. At 06:10 I arrived at home again. I bought blendhung and thiwul for my breakfast. Then, I was busy to take pictures of Dastan. He was so dynamic, I could make him freezing for a while.

In the afternoon I accompanied Rahutama to the bus stop at Banyumanik. He would go to Jogja. I just dropped him and went home.

In the evening Bagus, Dastan, Anindya, and Bibik went to Erlangga. They day was so hot almost all day long. I watered the front yard in the afternoon.

Birthday Party

It was Saturday. In the morning I wiped and mopped the floor. It was my work to welcome Dastan because he would come at 08:00. Then, I made morning walk tracing the Jalan Basudewo and Bojongsalaman. It was about 50 minutes.

At 10:00 Dastan, Anindya, and Bibik came from Jakarta. Bagus fetched them. Bagus and Anindya then went out to set the party.

This morning Nuri and Bu Kus prepared the meal packages for children of the neighbors. It was to celebrate Dastan's birthday.

At 11:00 I accompanied by Rahutama went to Convention Hall of Masjid Agung to join a wedding party. It was a party organized by Mr. Prasetyo to celebrate the marriage of his son, Binar Satryo, that married to Dhita Farissa. As usual it was a reunion time. I met several colleagues such as Mr. Sudirman, Mr. Hidayat, Mr. Inu, and Mr. Suhartono.

After maghrib time we (I, Nuri, Bu Kus, and Rahutama) went to the Eden Resto to join Dastan's birthday party. Mr. and Mrs. Djoni were joining the party. Om Beni, Dimas, and an apprentice student also joined the party. About 6 invitees join the party. An invitee could consist of the father, mother, and children. So, the party was joyful. Dastan failed to blow the candles. He was little bit nervous and shy. At 21:00 the party concluded.

Exhausting Day

It was Friday. In the morning I and Nuri went to the temple hall to join qigong. The participants were 16 people. We practiced chenqi, laqi, and pengqi guanding. The Laoshi Yan Gi gave several directions at the end of the session.

At 09:00 I dropped Nuri at the Columbia Hospital in Kalibanteng area. She would visit Ratna that was hospitalized several days. I continued to go to the lab. I made coordination with Pranoto concerning the meeting with the direction team. At 12:00 I joined the Friday prayer at the masjid campus.

At 13:00 I, Pranoto, and Niko went to the River Basins Management Office. On the way we stopped by Kabul Soto Stall to have lunch. We discussed our progress with Ms. Rantika, Mr. Didit, and Ms. Tika. We wanted to see Ms. Jeany too but she had no time.

In the office I met Mr. Hidayat. He brought to me the invoice documents. I signed them.

In the evening I accompanied Nuri to have reservation in the Eden Resto. It was for Dastan Birthday Party.

Being at Home

It was Thursday. I was fasting. In the morning at 02:50. I got up for early breakfast. In the beginning I consumed a capsule of lacidofil. A banana was the following turn. Then, steamed broccoli, a boiled egg, and eggplant dish came to mine. Finally, I consumed a tablet of biobran. After drinking 3 glass of water and praying I slept again.

Nuri went to the temple to join qigong exercise. At 10:00 she delivered our condolences to Mbah Wardju family. She passed away today. Nuri then went out to seek matters for Dastan's birthday party. I was still at home.

Birthday

It was Wednesday. It was the first day of the Hijriah Year 1437. In the national calendar today was a holiday. This day was also October the 14, the birthdays of Nuri and Dastan. So, I paid my greetings to them.

In the morning I and Nuri went to the temple hall to join qigong. The participants were 11 people. We practiced chenqi, laqi, and pengqi guanding. Laoshi Yen Gi gave some examples.

After zuhr time we went out. We went to restaurant on Jalan Wahidin 41 to have lunch. There are 2 restos: Fish & Co and Eden. Eden was full, if we would we got turn #11. We changed to Eden, it run out of the raw materials. So we went to Citra Mall.

We had our lunch in the Pazzo Pancakes. I just consumed fruit salad and vegetables juice. Then, I went to the building nearby to fix my power bank. The technician told that it was good to be dumped because the problem was at the batteries. The batteries price was the same as the power bank price.

In the evening Asri and the gang came. They gave us fried cassava she told from Fitri. We chatted for about an hour.

Gathering

It was Tuesday. In the morning I went to the temple hall to join qigong. The participants were 10 people. We practiced pengqi guanding and short xingshen zhuang.

At 10:00 I arrived at the lab. A brief discussion emerged concerning the retaining wall structure. At 16:00 I left the lab. I entered the Tembalang Gate and exited from the Manyaran Gate to get home.

In the evening I joined the gathering in Pak Suparno's house for monthly neighborhood gathering and in the same time to welcome the New Year. It was the lunar Hijria Year 1437. The committee as usual provided nasi gudangan for our dinner.

Fasting

It was Monday. I got up at 02:00 to have the early breakfast. I consumed lacidofil first. Then, papaya had its turn. At the end I consumed steamed broccoli and boiled egg. Today I wanted to be fasting.
I went to the lab at 08:30 so I got there at 09:00. I discussed basin conservation with Pranoto. At 13:45. I left the office.

In the evening I and Nuri went to Asri's house to pass banana and papaya. Then, we went to ReD (Refresh, Eat, Drink) resto in Marina area. It closed. It moved to Jalan Wahidin. We went there, the resto changed the name to Eden Resto.

Joining a Wedding Party

It was Sunday. In the morning at 07:00 I and Nuri went to Purworejo to join a wedding party. On the way there we stopped twice. The first stop was at the Lezat Store where we shopped varieties of snacks. And the second one was at the house in Salaman where we dressed up for a party. We met Bulik Warti and Lik Santo. We realized that the house looked tidy since a helper was hired.

The party started at 12:30 and we arrived at 13:00. It was at the hall of SMAN7 (the Seventh State Highschool) Purworejo. C Retno Tri Prastuti and his husband organized it to celebrate the marriage of his son, RR Bimo Budi Utomo which married to TF Noviana Herawati. We were happy because of meeting with our old colleagues such as Kasmono, Eko, Sukadi, Saeran, Sawal, Djumadi, and Supomo. In addition, the hosts provided tasty dishes.

At 14:00 we left the party. We stopped again in Salaman to load papaya and banana. In the Wajik Salaman counter we shopped snacks again. The last stop was at the Tahu Pojok counter where we ordered tofu in the takeaway mode. At 18:00 we arrived at home.

Rahutama Coming

It was Saturday. I made a morning walk for an hour. I traced Jalan Puspagiwang, Jalan Sudirman, and Jalan Bojongsalaman. At Puspanjolo Selatan street market I bought long bean and tempe.

At 11:00 I and Nuri visited Paragon Mall to be sight seeing. We met Mr. and Mrs. Budi. They were with their daughters and grandson. On the way home we stopped by Sehat Pharmacy to bought my medicines. Then we picked Rahutama at the bus stop in front of Kariadi Hospital. At 16:00 we arrived at home.

Before maghrib time Nuri went to a wedding party of a neighbor. I watered the front yard.

Visiting Bappeda

It was Friday. I was absent from the qigong exercise. At 09:00 I went to Bappeda Jateng to look for a land map. I met Mr. Djalmo there. He told me he just had earth surface maps.

At 12:00 I joined the Friday prayer in the masjid Attaqwa.

Being at Home

At was Thursday. In the morning I went to the temple hall to join qigong. The participants were 11 people. Li Kian instructed the session. We practiced stretching, chenqi, and xingshen zhuang.

At 10:00 Nuri went out to join her companions. At 13:15 I walked to Cak Rus Barbershop to trim my hair. After concluded Nuri picked me up and we went back home together.

Welcoming Guests

It was Wednesday. In the morning I and Nuri went to the temple hall to join qigong. The participants were 12 people. We practiced chenqi, laqi, pengqi guanding, and sanxin bingzhan zhuang.

At 09:00 I went to the lab. I was behind Pranoto on going there. He just fetched El Idris and his companion. Their mission was to recruit new employees. After seeing the dean I met them just to say hello. They then went to the Semarang Polytechnic while I went home. We then met again at the Sangklak Seafood Resto in Tanahmas area. We had lunch there. The resto provided good dishes, we were satisfied. We were then dismissed. I went home while Pranoto accompanied them to the hotel.

In the afternoon Nuri went out to seeked the kitten food. I watered the front yard.

Shopping

It was Tuesday. I went to the temple hall in the morning to join qigong session. We practiced chenqi, laqi, pengqi guanding, and short xingshen zhuang.

At 09:40 I went to the lab. I entered the Manyaran Toll Gate and exited from the Tembalang Toll Gate.

In the lab I had a brief discussion with Pranoto about thematic drawing.

In the afternoon I accompanied Nuri monthly shopping in the Ada Supermarket. I had dinner in a warung tegal on Jalan Suyudono.

Usual Day

It was Monday. In the morning I went to the temple hall to join qigong. About 10 people joined the session. We practiced chenqi, laqi, pengqi guanding, and sanxin bingzhan zhuang.

At 09:30 I went to the lab. The crew was almost complete. Putra was absent. Niko told me he was ill, thypoid fever. At 16:00 I went back home.

Being at Home

It was Sunday. I made a morning walk at 08:30 - 09:30. I traced Jalan Sudirman on the north side.

In the afternoon I watered the front yard. I also cleaned the gutter in front of the house.

In the evening I installed my printer to my notebook. It was actually re-installing the printer since the notebook was just window reinstalled.

Being at Home

It was Wednesday. In the morning I and Nuri went to the temple hall to join qigong exercise. The participants were about 10 people. We practiced chenqi, laqi, pengqi guanding, and sanxin bingzhan zhuang.

In the remaining time of the day I was still at home.

Joining a Wedding Party

It was Saturday. In the morning at 08:30 I made a morning walk around the side of the West Floodway. I also took some pictures of objects nearby.

At 17:00 I, Nuri, and Ninok joined a wedding party in the Lawang Sewu Garden. It was managed by Ida, a Nuri's childhood friend, to celebrate the marriage of her daughter, Reinata Maria, which married to Agni Sinatria. The party was good providing good food.

Visiting a Friend

It was Friday. Before zuhr time Nuri went out to accompany Bu Lily and. I joined the Friday prayer in the masjid nearby.

At 15:30 I went to the Telogorejo Hospital to visit Suripto. He was my school mate. I stopped by the Alyosha Counter in the Simpanglima Plaza to fix my notebook. I wanted to install a cloud storage named onedrive. I tried more than three times but I failed.

I visited him together with Tatik A and Tatik B. Tuti then was after us. It was just good that Tuti was in her birthday. She offered to have dinner together. She chose Lombok Ijo Resto. I took my notebook, refueled the car and joined the others in the resto. I consumed pecak lele and cold drink.

Meeting Old Colleagues

It was Thursday. In the morning I and Nuri went to the temple hall to join qigong. It was 11 people being the participants. We practiced chenqi and xingshen zhuang.

After having breakfast we went out. Nuri dropped me at the Bank Jateng Pemuda. I withdrew my pension salary. Then, Nuri picked me up for the Mandiri Bank Pandanaran. I renewed my bankbook while Nuri continued to the Merbabu bookstore. We joined again there. We continued to the Indonet office to report my account problem. It closed. We then went to the Jumbo Aye stall to have our lunch. It offered Atjeh styled noodles and fried rice. Nuri chose the first and I did the second.

At 15:00 I went to the lab to see the draft of monthly report. Some corrections were made and Andreas did the rest.

In the evening I and Nuri met Bu Lily and in the Citraland Hotel. They had been once my subordinates when I was in Riau.

Tracing a New Route

It was Tuesday. At 09:30 I went to the lab. There was a fired truck at the Tembalang Toll Gate so the traffic was congested. That made me arriving late at the lab.

I made a discussion with Suharyanto about the management and the flood analysis. I did the same with Pranoto. At 15:00 I left the lab for home. I took the route of passing through the Bukit Candi Golf Housing. The track was terrible.

Joining Qigong

It was Monday. In the morning I joined the qigong in the temple hall. We started about 20 minutes late. So, we only practiced chenqi laqi, and pengqi guanding. The participants were about 8 people. Chen Ming were the instructor.

At 10:00 I joined in the lab. I met Pranoto just a while. I corrected the Gauss coefficient in the precipitation analysis. I left the lab at 15:30.

Children Leaving

It was Sunday. In the morning I made a morning walk through Jalan Puspagiwang, Karangayu Market, and West Floodway. I knew that Bandung styled fermented cassava was offered in the market.

The day was still hot, very hot. I was not so happy. In the morning the sky looked grey to black but still no rain. I watered the front yard.

At 15:30 Anindya, Bagus, Dastan, and Bibik left home. Bagus accompanied the others to the airport. They would go to Jakarta. At 21:20 Anindya reported that they had arrived at their boarding house in Jakarta.

At 16:00 I accompanied Rahutama to a bus stop at Banyumanik. He would go to Jogja. I refilled the fuel tank after dropping him there.

In the evening I and Nuri had lunch in the Sendok Bebek Resto. We ordered a chaomian and a vegetables dish.

Being at Home

It was Saturday. I was at home. The day was so hot. Nuri made nasi megana for us. It was tasty.

In the afternoon I made afternoon walk. I also took my camera with me. On the plaza of West floodway I took some pictures. I almost lost the lens cap. It was dropped. I could find it on the grass.

In the evening Anindya, Dastan, and Bagus went to a mall to entertain Dastan.

Going Out

It was Friday. I got up late. Anindya, Dastan, and Bibik came from Erlangga. At 10:00 we went to Cimory, Karangjati. It was a garden based on a cow farm. At 11:30 we arrived there. After sitting I was away going to a masjid. It was the Masjid Coca-Cola where I joined the Friday prayer.

We had our lunch in the resto. I consumed pempek sour soup. I Dastan seemed so happy. He actively walk around. However, any time he wanted Bibik to bear him. At about 14:45 we left the place. We arrived at home at 15:40.

Eid al Adha

It was Thursday. It was Eid al Adha 1436H. It was the festival of sacrificing. I actually was not involved. I did not join the eid prayer. Neither, I did not give sacrificing. I was in ill condition. Nuri and Bu Kus join the prayer in the masjid nearby.

After zuhr time Anindya and Dastan came from Erlangga. They just came by since a moment later they left home to a swimming pool.

Going to Surakarta

It was Wednesday. In the morning my gadget was ringing, Tyas told me that Haryono passed a way. A moment later my social media group also told the same news. Haryono used to be my subordinate. He was a very energetic and effective one. I guest his supervisor would be so suffering of a loss.

At 08:30 I went to Surakarta to pay my condolence to his family. Rahutama accompanied me. At about 10:30 I arrived at grieving house. I met his wife and relatives. I paid my condolence. Some of my once subordinates were also there, such us Supadi, Tasinah, Juli, Dwi, etc. I also met Yuwono and Bambang RB. The corpse would be buried tomorrow at 11:00. At 12:00 I left the place.

We stopped by Tamansari Resto where we had lunch. Before 15:00 we arrived at home.

Being Ill

It was Tuesday. Today I did not go anywhere because I was ill. It seemed that influenza was with me. I was always laying on bed.

About zuhr time Dastan and Bibik came. They accompanied by Mrs. Djoni and I'm Beni. Nuri was being outside having bank business.

After maghrib time I went to Mardi Mulya Clinic. Doctor Darwis gave me 3 medicines: VALVED (Triprolidine HCl 2,5mg, Psedoephedrine HCl 60mg), DAMUVIT, and CEFADROXIL 500mg). I spent Rp60.300 but I only paid off Rp60.000.

Rahutama Coming

It was Monday. In the morning I went to the temple hall to join qigong. Nuri was at home. The participants were eleven people. We practiced chenqi, laqi, and pengqi guanding. When we were practicing pengqi the CD player were getting trouble so we did it again. Maybe because of that we did not have time to do sanxin bingzhan as usual.

At 09:00 I and Nuri went to the Pandanaran Public Health Center to control my condition. My blood pressure was 120/80. Then, I dropped Nuri at the Grand Edge to join monthly gathering.

At 11:30 I went to the lab. I met Ms. Wati, Mr. Pranoto, and Mr. Suharyanto. We briefly discussed our progress. At 16:00 I left the lab. Rahutama joined me. We went back together.

Anindya Going to Jakarta

It was Sunday. In the morning I made a morning walk. As usual I traced the path way at the West Floodway side. It was about 40 minutes.

At 09:00 Bagus fetched Anindya and Dastan. They went out. On arriving at home at 15:00 Anindya told us they went to Salatiga with her parents in law.

At 16:00 Anindya left home for Jakarta. Bagus, Dastan, and Bibik accompanied her to the airport. They were back for showering then left to Erlangga for overnight.

Anindya Coming

It was Saturday. I filled it with several activities. In the morning at 06:00 Priyo picked me up from home to Marina area. There were Yatin and Widodo with him. At the area we joined Soewono which was waiting for us at the turning point. Then, we walked tracing the shore line. A moment later Sugeng and his colleague joined us. We continued to trace the line. Concluding our tracking we had nasi soto at the Wito Soto Soup Kiosk on Jalan Anjasmoro. Soewono then dropped me at home.

In the evening there were three activities. The first was attending the thankgiving session at our next door neighbor. I was there with Nuri. Then, the second i joined the monthly neighborhood gathering at Parno's house. The third was that I fetched Anindya, Dastan, and Bibik in in the airport.

At about 09:30 Mr. and Mrs. Djoni came to see Dastan. As usual, they brought us 3 pax of tahu gimbal.

Presentation

It was Friday. In the morning the guests were ready to go back to Surabaya. I was also to go to the lab. At 09:30 I, Nuri, and the guests (mbak Poppy and dik Titik) left home. We went to the lab. They dropped me there and they continued to the Tawang Station.

In the lab Pranoto, Ms. Wait, and the students were ready to join the presentation. I and Pranoto discussed the handouts. At 11:50 we left the lab for the Pemali Juana River Basins Management Office (BBWSPJ). We arrived there at 12:15. The preacher in the Masjid Salman Alfarisi was delivering the second part. We took wudlu step and joined the prayer. It was just starting to pray.

After praying we had our lunch in a food stall on Jalan Sudiarto. It was modest but serving tasty dishes.

At 13:30 we joined the presentation of our work, the interim report of the Detail Engineering Design of Glagah River Flood Measurements. Mrs. Jeanny led the meeting. She was escorted by Mr. Astoto, Mr. Teguh, Mr. Didit, Mr. Wahyu, and Miss Ika. The audience were Mr. Imam from Central Jawa WRM Authority, Mr. Anwar from Brebes Regency Water, Energy, and Mineral Resources Agency, and Mr. Suta from the Surakarta River Research Office. I gave the presentation first, then continued by Mr. Dirmawan. Pranoto was answering the questions raised by the audience. Our team members were also Mrs. Neni, Rika, Niko, and Putra. At 16:30 Mrs. Jeanny concluded the meeting.

I then went to the masjid to do ashr prayer. Nuri picked me up at 17:15. We arrived at home just after maghrib call roaring.

Being at Home

It was Thursday. I was still at home because Nuri used the car to facilitated our guests. At noon Mrs. Bena came to pass a cloth for Nuri. Pranoto called to seek the addresses of the invitees. In the afternoon there was an invitation to join a wedding party arrived. It was from Aswin. He would marry his daughter to a man from Semarang.

Rahutama Going to Jogja

It was Wednesday. In the morning I and Nuri accompanied Rahutama to the Joglosemar Bus starting point on Jalan Pemuda. He wanted to go to Jogja. After dropping him there we were home. It was enough time to have small sleep.

At 05:30 I and Nuri went to the temple hall to join qigong. The participants were about 12 people. We practiced chenqi, laqi, pengqi guanding, and sanxin zhuang.

At 09:30 I went to the lab. I met Pranoto, Ms. Wati, Andreas, Niko, Putra, and Rika. At 15:30 I went home. I avoided to pass through the toll road because I worried the traffic would be directed to up way (Jalan Setiabudi). It was true traffic outing from the toll road we rerouted up way through Gombel Atas.

At 11:00 I and Nuri fetched mbak Poppy and mbak Titik at the Tawang Station.

Welcoming Guests

It was Tuesday. In the morning I went to the temple hall to join qigong. The participants were about 7 people. We practiced chenqi, pengqi guanding, and xingshen zhuang. In practicing fu shen gong yao song du mai I felt my back was still pain. However I concluded the session.

At 09:00 Mr. and Mrs. Hidayat came. He need my signature to apply the invoice. We also have a social chat for a while. After they left Nuri went out to buy some rice. So, I went to the lab at 11:00. At 13:30 I went back home.

In the afternoon the bank noticed me that the last invoice was in realization. Directly, I forwarded some of the portion to Mr. Hidayat.

In the evening I and Rahutama went to a printing shop to print some reports. I spent Rp67.000 for all.

Meeting

It was Monday. In the morning Rahutama went to the Health Insurance office to take his insurance card. He was now a member of the National Social Insurance.

At 10:00 I went to the lab. We prepared our interim report presentation. At 15:00 we went to the Pemali Juana Management Office for meeting to get consultation. It began at 17:00 led by Ms. Rantika. Our companions were Pranoto, Dirmawan and the students Andreas, Rika, and Niko. At 18:00 the consultation was settled.

It was Sunday. In the morning I made a morning walked trading the floodway pathways. I met a group of people exercising on the floodway side plaza.

In the afternoon Nuri joined the neighborhood monthly gathering. In between Ms. Djoni came by to pass smacks.

Walking

It was Saturday. At 07:00 I made morning walk around the house. My route was Puspagiwang, Sudirman, and Bojongsalaman. At 08:00 Priyo, Husni, Widodo, and Suwandi came to fetch me. We went to Soewono's office to have breakfast together. It was true, one of his office room was rent by a soto soup vendor named Soto Suwito. Mr. Soewono entertained us with the soto. Then, till 11:00 we chatted in his office.

When I was away Nuri went out to shop. Rahutama came at 14:00. He wanted me to fetch him but the car was with Nuri. So, he used a bike service to bring him home.

After maghrib time I and Nuri went to Superindo Market to buy vegetable and fruit.

Going Out

It was Friday. In the morning Nuri went to the temple hall to join Qigong. I was still at home. At 08:30 I went to the lab. I, Pranoto, and Dirmawan discussed geological background of the project. I also was busy to install onedrive in my notebook. I was back home at 15:30.

In the afternoon I made the gutter in front of the house clean. I was so satisfied. In the evening I and Nuri went to Dulnumani noodles stall for having dinner. It was ok.

Being at Home

It was Thursday. In the morning we went to the temple hall for joining qigong. The temple front yard was occupied by a wide tent. There were some incense sticks installed on the altar. Many envelopes were also stuck on the parapet. Likian told there would be a prayer for flying ancestors' souls.

In the qigong session we practiced stretching, short chenqi, and xingshen zhuang. About 12 people joined the session.

At about 10:00 Nuri went out to settled some monthly business. I wiped and mopped the floor.

In the evening Asri and the gang came. They gave us mantoes.

Going to a Doctor

It was Wednesday. In the morning Nuri went to the temple hall to join qigong. I was at home to enjoy my laziness. At 09:00 I went to the lab to join a brief discussion. It was concerning the questionnaire content. Only I, Pranoto, and Ms. Wati. The discussion was set up as casual as possible. At 14:00 I left the room. On the veranda I met Bambang Titut. We were plunged in a casual chat. Then, I also met Aike. We discussed my health problem.

After maghrib time I and Nuri went to Lampersari to see Doctor Sumanto. We stopped by at Plaza Simpanglima where I took my laptop. I paid off Rp200.000 for the service.

At the doctor place I waited for about 15 minutes to get my turn. As usual he prescribed Biobran and Lacidofil for the next 3 months . For my back pain he prescribed Sirdalud 2mg and Proneuron.

Laptop Being Out of Order

It was Tuesday. I went to the lab at 09:20. The toll road was congested due to a stopped trained truck. So, I got there after 10:00.

In the lab the students were complete. I met also Pranoto, Hari, and Mrs. Wati. I was busy with my laptop interlinking the cloud storages. Unfortunately, it came to be out of order.

In the evening I and Nuri went to the computer center at Simpanglima Building to fix the laptop. The technician need a day to fix it. I left it with him. On the way home we bought pecel salad for our dinner.

Joining Qigong

It was Monday. In the morning I went to the temple hall to joined Qigong. The participants were 15 people. I supposed to join practicing chenqi, laqi, pengqi guanding, and sanxin zhuang but I stopped in the middle of pengqi guanding. My back was getting pain again. So, I went back home.

At 10:30 I went to the lab. There were Pranoto, Putra, Andreas, Niko, and Rika. We discussed the design concept. At 15:30 I went home.

Going Back to Semarang

It was Sunday. After having breakfast in the room we checked out at about 08:00. We went to the Beringharjo Market to buy some emping crackers. The parking lot was going to be full but we got a space. After getting the crackers we went back home.

We chose the route of Magelang - Bawen - Semarang through the toll road. In Nagelang we stopped by at the Lezat Store to buy other snacks. The we got us at the Tahu Pojok stall to have lunch. At 14:00 we arrived at home.

Going to Jogja

It was Saturday. In the morning I, Nuri, and Rahutama left home for Jogja. Rahutama was the driver. We traced the route of Salatiga - Boyolali - Klaten - Jogja. We stopped by at a soto seger kiosk in Boyolali to have breakfast. The kiosk was operated as Mrs. Aminah.

In Jogja we visited Nuri's relatives. They were Ms. Yuswati and Ms. Kris. Ms. Yuswati was the widow of Mr. Fajar, Nuri's uncle. She lived in Bogem, Kalasan. We stopped by there for a while.

Ms. Kris was a younger sister of Mr. Fajar. She lived in Umbulharjo with his husband, Mr. Samikun. We also stopped by there for about an hour.

We dropped Rahutama at Jombor Bus Terminal. We continued to Sleman to check in a hotel.

It was Prima SR Hotel, a low cost hotel that had been being soft opened since 2 weeks ago. The hotel performance was quite good. It was beyond the price.

At 18:30 we went to the Savita Hotel to join a wedding party managed by Mrs. Sundjojo to celebrate the marriage of her daughter, Shagi Setapaksi Kaulika . She had married to Gilang Hakrisda. The wedding was good, too. The food was tasty though less variety.

On the way back to the hotel, we bought noodle and fruits for Rahutama. We dropped them at his boarding house.

Rahutama Coming

It was Friday. In the morning I and Nuri went to the temple hall to join qigong. The participants were about 12 people. We practiced chenqi, pengqi guanding, and sanxin zhuang. However, I and Nuri didn't join the sanxin zhuang. We went back home. We stopped at a lontong sayur stall on Jalan Indraprasta to have breakfast.

At 10:00 I was in the lab. We joined in a meeting discussing the interim report. I joined the Friday prayer in a masjid in the campus. At 14:00 I went home.

At about 16:00 Rahutama came from Jogja. Nuri picked him up from the Kariadi Stop.

Joining Qigong

It was Thursday. In the morning I and Nuri joined qigong in the temple. The participants were 16 people. We practiced stretching and xingshen zhuang.

At 11:00 I went to the lab. There were Niko, Putra, and Andreas. The power shut down so we dismissed. I went to the Water Resources Authority office to see Mr. Guntoro. I collected Brebes Spatial Plan, Mid Range Development Plan, and Pemali Comal Water Resources Management Plan.

After maghrib time I and Nuri came to Indosat Service Center on Jalan Pandanaran. Nuri fixed her cellphone SIMcard.

Backpain Again

It was Wednesday. In the morning I and Nuri went to the temple hall to join qigong. The participants were 13 people. We practiced chenqi, laqi, pengqi guanding, and sanxin zhuang. My practice stopped at pengqi guanding because I got back pain again. The laoshi suggested me to stop the practice until I got recovery.

On going back home we stopped at the Gang Baru Street Market. Nuri bought vegetables.

I didn't go anywhere because I suffered from the back pain. Nuri went to Ada Supermarket for monthly shopping.

Withdrawing Salary

It was Tuesday. At 09:30 I went to the lab to see the team. There were Pak Min, Putra, Niko, Rika, and Ms. Wati. I supposed to welcome Masturi the surveyor but he didn't show up. At 13:50 I left the lab.

I went to the Bank Jateng, Pemuda to withdraw my pension salary. It was 14:30 when I arrived there. Bank still opened for withdrawal and transfer. I transferred some to Nuri's account and I took the rest in cash. At 15:00 I arrived at home.

After maghrib time I came to Cak Rus Barbershop on foot to trim my hair. The fee was increasing to Rp13.000. On returning home I traced West Floodway side pathway. I bought pecel salad from Bu Lastri's stall.

Exploring Information

It was Monday. In the morning I went to the Energy and Minerals Resources Authority office to see a mine officer. I met Mr. Ali and from I explored the mining information. As a matter of fact he didn't have any information since the authority had just transferred from the regency governments. Then, I went to the PSDA office to seek the process on issuing a recommendation. I couldn't see the guy in charge because he and the staff was being briefed by the supervisor. So, I went to BP DAS Pemali Jratun Office. I met Mrs. Utari, Mr. Sudarto, and Ms. Morning. We discussed the forest and land conservation. Leaving the office I led to the Forest Authority to see Mr. Nova.

In the evening I and Nuri went to Mr. Hidayat's house to visit his health. In the same time I signed the July invoice. He seemed healthy although he had to have vein curing. Lanjutannya...

Massage

It was Sunday. In the morning we welcomed guests. They were Nuri's friends: Ida and Lurit. They talked about a wedding party.

At 11:00 I and Nuri went to a masseur at the Wushu Building. I got massage, did Nuri. The day was hot. We directly were home afterward.

Going to the Lab

It was Thursday. I went to the lab at about 11:00. I passed the toll road from the Manyaran Gate. In the lab I just gave receipt and Rp100.000 change to the secretary. I then left the lab for home.

I searched the Office of Pemali Jratun River Basins Management on Jalan Karangrejo, in Jatingaleh area. Unfortunately, I took the wrong place because the right one was in Banyumanik area. I went home and planned to get there in another day.

Massage

It was Wednesday. My back was still pain. I didn't go to the lab. I was still at home.

In the afternoon at 17:00 I and Nuri went to Mr. Rajiman the masseur. It was Mr. Bambang suggestion. About an hour he massaged me. The result, I was in a better condition. It costed Rp70.000. He suggested to be back again 4 days later.

Going to the Office

It was Monday. I was reluctant to go for qigong so I was absent. Nuri was getting better. She made me a bokchoy dish for my breakfast.

At 10:00 I went to the lab. The team was still absent. Ms. Wati told they had just arrived at Semarang and need to have rest. I met Pranoto. He just finished examining students. At 14:00 I went home.

In the evening I and Nuri went out. We printed pictures of Dastan and put them on a plate. We also bought pecel for our dinner.

It was Saturday. At 11:30 I and Nuri went to Convention Hall of the Masjid Agung on Jalan Gajah. We joined the wedding party of Rizki and Dolina. Rizki was the second child of Mr. and Mrs. Widodo. As usual we met our colleagues such as Bud, Surjadi, and Nugroho.

Surveying the Day 2

It was Friday. The hotel provided breakfast for us but it was not suitable for me. It was cow skin stir fry, it was disgusting. So, we came to a food stall after checking out of the hotel. The dishes were modest but tasty.

After having breakfast we met Supadi at a point near Prupuk. Supadi was with two people, ojek operators. We then added with two more ojeks. So, we were with 5 bikes.

Our survey was a walkthrough from the juction of Glagah and Pemali rivers to walking upstream to the juction of Glagah and Pedes. We started from a point in between, went down to the junction and went back. Time for praying had come so we had a break.

We joined the Friday prayer in a nearby masjid, the Masjid Baitunnajah. Then, we went to the Pengkolan food stall in Prupuk. Rice and vegetables soup was my menu. Leaving the stall we went to the Jati Agung Motel in Prupuk where the four people (Legimin, Andreas, Putra, and Niko) checked in. The we went to a point near the masjid where the four people got off. I and the driver (Eko) went back to Semarang.

We stopped by the Office of Road Conservation in Lebaksiu. I met Mr. Simbolon, an officer. He told that all data associated to the planning was available in the Planning and Supervision Office in Semarang. He suggested to came there.

We traced the route of Slawi - Pangkah - Pemalang - Semarang. We stopped again in Kendal where we had dinner at a simple stall. At 20:00 arrived at home.

Surveying

It was Thursday. In the morning we were ready at 08:30 after having breakfast in the hotel. The hotel provided it free of charge. We checked out of the hotel. We went to the departments of Brebes Regency.

First, we went to the Department of Water, Energy, and Minerals. We met the head (Mr. Slamet Riyadi), and his ordinates (Mr. and Mr.). They promised to give their data later. The second was the Office of Regency Development Planning. We met the Data Section Chief, Ms. Arofah. She gave us Brebes in Figures. The third was the Department of Forestry and Plantation. We met the chief (Mr. Eko Andalas) and his subordinate (Mr.). Unfortunately, the Conservation Division was void so we got nothing. The promised to give the data later.

Then, we went to Ciregol, Tonjong. We surveyed at 3 points: downstream of the Pedes and Glagah rivers junction, Pedes upstream of the junction and Glagah upstream of the junction. At each point we measured the flowrate, took the bed load, suspended solid samples, took the coordinate using GPS gadget, and measured the existing boulder.

At 18:00 we arrived at Bumiayu. We had dinner in a food stall. We checked in the Salsadelila Hotel.

Going to Brebes

It was Wednesday. In the morning at 09:00 I joined the plenary meeting of the Provincial Water Resources Council in the Wadaslintang Room, the Office of Water Resources Authority. The meeting was led by Mr. Prasetyo but in the last part of the time Mr. Ketut replaced him. It concluded at 14:00.

At 15:00 I and Nuri went to the Giant Supermarket, Karangayu to buy sandals and short trousers. They would be used for a river survey.

At 18:00 I, Legimin, Niko, Andreas, Putra, and the driver went to Brebes. At 22:00 we arrived at the Dedi Jaya Hotel, Brebes where we were overnight. The hotel was a modest one but seemed better than Susana Baru Hotel.

Surveying

It was Tuesday. In the morning we had breakfast at the hotel. They provided modest dishes, chicken soup and chicken spicy soup. I asked a cup coffee to end my breakfast.

Pranoto rent a car for the direction team. We then when to the Provincial WR Management Office to get more data. Pranoto continued to fetch the directing team at the station. They were Mrs. Rantika and Mr. Teguh. There was also Mr. Tatang, the machine bore specialist. Putra the student was with them. Pranoto led them to the office.

After finishing with the office we went to a stall to have breakfast. Then, we went to Pedes tributary in Ciregol area. Mr. Darmawan analysis the situation. Bor points were chosen. We finished at 14:00. We had lunch on side.

At 16:00 we were at the station. Mr. Darmawan, Mr. Teguh, Mrs. Rantika, and Mr. Tatang went back to Semarang by train. I, Pranoto, Putra, and the driver went back to Semarang by car. At 21:00 I arrived at home.

Neighborhood Gathering

It was Sunday.
In the evening I joined the neighborhood gathering to celebrate the proclamation day. We installed plastic carpet and we the members sat on. We were still there chatting and distributing prizes to the children. At about a community leader and his subordinates came. He gave speech and circulated the independent greeting. After they left we dismissed.

Anindya Coming Home

It was Saturday. I washed the car in the morning. I involved much energy to do it. Nuri made the house tidy because Anindya and Dastan would came.

At 11:00 I went to the laboratory. I kept my word to meet several people. Pranoto, Suharyanto, and Priyo were there. We discussed our plan to go to Brebes. The decision was that we would go to Brebes twice. The first trip would be on Tuesday consisting of directing team (2 people), Pranoto, Dirmawan, me and a student. The objective was to select the boring points. The second trip would be on Thursday consisting of me, 2 students, and 2 laborants. The objective was to walk-through the rivers to enumerate structures inside.

At 17:00 Anindya and Dastan came home. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Djoni. After they left Adri came to visit me. He had checked in the Ibis Hotel and came here by a hotel taxi.

At 19:00 I and Nuri joined a wedding party in Gumaya Hotel. Adyati and hubby managed it to celebrate the marriage of their son, Wahyu. He married to. In the party I met Hariyoto, Took, Adri, Noeri, Nurul, Indahingsih, Suratmin, Haryati, Robiyati, and Heni.

Being at Home

It was Thursday. In the morning Nuri reported that the kitten dead. We buried him in the front yard.

The day was so hot. I slept much. I was still at home. Nuri wanted to go out but then she liked to sleep rather than to go.

Seeing a Doctor

It was Wednesday. At 09:00 I and Nuri went to the Kariadi Hospital to see Doctor Suharti. It was the time to control my health. I got #7 to see her. Nuri went to the china town for shopping. I was still in the hospital waiting. At 11:15 I saw the doctor. She was accompanied by her two assistants. My blood pressure was 140/80. The doctor team told that my condition was stable. I need to see them three months later. However, I had to control my blood pressure every month at the puskesmas (public health center). The gave me a reference letter.

In waiting for the medicine I met Mr. and Mrs Sudiono again. I had met the previously in the doctor waiting room. Nuri then joined me again. At 12:15 I received the medicine, amlodipin 5mg 30 tablets for a month.

At 14:30 I joined Mr. Suharyanto and Mr. Priyo to meet the directive team in the management office. They were Ms. Rantika and Mr. Teguh.

After being at home I made an afternoon walk along the West Floodway side for about 50 minutes.

Walking

It was Tuesday. At 09:00 I and Nuri went to the Sehat Pharmacy to buy my medicines. After paying off I dropped Nuri at the Restaurant on Jalan Singosari. She joined the monthly gathering of ITB alumni wives. Then, I continued to the laboratory.

I was about 3 hours there. As usual we discussed our progress and program. At 13:30 I left the laboratory and went to the Water Resources Agency Office . I stopped by the pharmacy to take my medicines. In the office I delivered back the drawings we borrowed yesterday. Nur received them.

In the afternoon I made a walk. I traced the riverside of the West Floodway.

Hard Day

It was Monday. In the morning I went to the laboratory to meet the team. We prepared to give presentation of our progress in front of the directive team. Because the exact time had not been informed to us I and Pranoto went to the Water Resources Agency Office. We met Mr. Kunarto and we made a short discussion. Then we went to the Office of Road Planning and Supervision. We met Mr. Bhima and Mr. Astianto and again we had a brief discussion.

At 15:00 as scheduled I, Ms. Wati, Pranoto, the students (Andreas, Niki, and Putra) came to the Pemali Juana River Basins Management Office. We had long discussion about the progress with the directive team. At 18:00 I arrived at home.

Going Back to Semarang

It was Sunday. In the morning after having breakfast I checked out of the hotel. I, Anindya, and Dastan went to their boarding house. They need to have shower and change their clothes.

At 12:00 I, Anindya, Dastan, and Bibik went to a restaurant on Jalan Wijaya where an Eid Festival Gathering was managed. The host was Seta while the attendants were my schoolmates in highschool. They were Endi, Bambang, Tono, Wiwik, Gowik, Mustika, Wuryani, etc. At 14:00 I left the gathering.

I, Anindya, Dastan, and Bibik went to Plaza Indonesia. We had lunch in the Marces Restaurant. I had a plate of rosti and smoked salmon. At 15:30 we left the place.

We rushed to the airport. At 16:15 we arrived at the Soetta Airport Terminal 1C. They dropped me there and went back to their house. I checked in. At 18:15 Batik Air flight ID6346 brought me to Semarang. At 19:15 I landed. Nuri fetched me home. At 20:00 I arrived at home.
