Graduation

It is Saturday. In the morning at 05:00 Rahutama joined us for showering in the hotel. He told he did not have a hot water at his boarding house. Then, at 06:00 we checked out the hotel and went to the Indonesia Islamic University at Kaliurang. We wanted to attend Rahutama's master degree graduation. When we arrived at the venue the crowds had been building up. We got a parking space about 300 meters from the venue, the Kahar Muzakir Hall.

At 08:00 the graduation procession commenced led by the rector. We the guests were seated as numbers we got. More than 700 students were installed as the graduates. I one time slept on my seat because I felt very sleepy. There were other guests slept too. We found students were installed one by one. At 12:00 the procession concluded. We joined the crowds. We met Arijadi (my high school mate), Hari Utomo (my childhood neighbor), and Gatot (my secondary n high school mate). Their children were also installed today.

We then accompanied Rahutama to settled his administration at the Faculty of Economics in Condongcatur area. We had lunch at the nasi puyung kiosk. We then accompanied Rahutama applying a public servant job, electronically at his boarding house.

At about 17:00 we left Rahutama's boarding house for home. We stopped by at Mie Pasarbaru counter to have late lunch (for Nuri) and early dinner (for me and Rahutama). At about 20:00 we arrived at home.
