On the Way to Surabaya

It was Saturday. I, Nuri, and Rahutama got up at 03:00. We prepared ourselves for a trip. After having early breakfast I we departed at 05:30. Bu Kus and Mbak Bik were waving us. Bu Kus would take care our home.

Our destination was Surabaya. We took this route: Kudus -Rembang - Tuban - Lamongan - Kebomas - Waru. Rahutama was the driver. I was the navigator.

At a public fueling unit before Demak we stopped. Nuri went to the rest room while I and Rahutama filled the fuel tank with Pertamax 92.

At a peanut snack factory in Pati we stopped again. Nuri bought some peanut while I had the second breakfast. I consumed nasi pecel of Rp40.000. It was tasty enough containing vegetables, peanut dressing, fried peanut spread, sweet coconut grating, hot sweet tempe, and a piece of fried chicken. A bottle water was completing. I also had a cup of mocca coffee, a compliment of a coffee producer.

At Bonang we also stopped to capture view of the beach. It was a nice view. Many fishermen boats landed at the kade.

We stuck at Kragan for about 45 minutes. A market crowd hindered us. Selfish drivers made the traffic stuck although then we lose.

At Tuban Prime Mosque we stopped again. We had zuhr and ashr prayers at once. We called it jama qasar.

At Mira resto, Babat we stopped for the last. I had my lunch. I ordered chicken garangasem. It was so hot because of lot of chilli pepper. It was showering.

Eventually, we arrived at the house on Kutisari Indah at 15:00. Overall, the road was good along way. The government served better than some years ago.

We were overnight in Kutisari Indah.
