Independence Day

This day was the Indonesia Independence Day because 66 years ago, the 17 of August, 1945 our founding fathers, Soekarno and Hatta, proclaimed the independence of Indonesia. As usual all elements of the people gathered to their community to organized ceremonies to commemorate it. This afternoon 07.00 I joined such a ceremony at the office. Mr Prasetyo was the inspector while Agus Surawan was the commander. Mr Hidayat, Mr Agus Pur, Mr Ktut and Mr Lukito were in. Mr Prasetyo read the speech of the Governor. We were free after the session.


This was the day 17 of Ramadhan. I, Nuri and Rahutama still maintained the fasting. We had early breakfast at 03.00. Nuri provided rice and gudeg. We still felt stuffed because of meal we had had in the neighbourhood gathering. At 06.30 I went to the office to join the ceremony. At 08.30 I, Mr Ktut, Bena, Eny Kusrini, Niken, Riyanto, Pujiono visited Mr Novianto at the Tugu Hospital Amaryllis Room 3-01. He was in his heart therapy. At 11.00 I and Nuri went to Rizky Salon to cut our hair. We broke our fasting at 17.43. Nuri provide rice, fried milk fish, bokcoy stir fry, clamshell stir fry, etc. for the dinner.
