Presentation

It is Wednesday. Red Wednesday (Rabu Pahing). I had breakfast at the dining hall under Tower 1. Various dishes were provided. They were modest. At 07:30 I checked out from the residence and by a Gojek car I went to South Quarter Tower A to join a meeting. At 08:00 I was in the lobby. Ario Rahadhi and Rohman Apriadi from PT Akualita came later. Then, Browi, Machdum, and Erick from PT PP came also several minutes later. We then went up to the 5th floor.

It is the office of PT CNI, a mining company being in a joint operation with a Chinese nationality company. They are willing to built a nickel smelter in North East Sulawesi. They need a significant supply of water. They believe it can be satisfied by water resources from nearby rivers. They are, represented by PT PP, seeking a prospective consultant company to help them studying the water resources potency. PT Aktualita came here to represent their technical proposal. I was with them to do the job on behalf of the company.

The presentation was attended by the company officers such as Roimon Barus, Erie Haryanto, Amando Bonito Kaligis, Dhani Rosa Pratama, and Eliene. In representasi PT Aktualita I explained their method to study the water potency. It was all about hydrology. The CNI warned me that the smelter designer would be exploring deeply about the data we would get and the method we would apply. I told them our team composed of mainly engineers lecturing in a university. In the process of study the team would always communicate to the designer. Several suggestions they delivered in the end of the session.

At about 11:00 we were dismissed. I talked brieftly to Ario and Rohman to clarify our knowledge. Then, a Gojek car brought me to the office in Cipayung.

I arrived at the office at 11:45. Benny was in. The others were absent. After maghrib time I went back to the guesthouse for having rest. I left my computer in the office because it was heavy. I stopped by at warung nasi uduk to dine.
