Joining a Wedding Procession

It is Monday. It was an exhausting day. This morning at 07:00 Muhammad Air Firdausi was married to Henny Juniati Harahap. A marriage agreement (akad nikah) was held in Alimuddin's house (the bride's father). A marriage registrat came to complete the paper so after the session conclued the bride and the groom received their marriage books.

There was a traditional procession after the agreement but I left the venue to get a rest. At 11:00 I came again to the house to join a reception. I dressed a Riau traditional custom as like Priyono. At 13:00 I went back to the lodge though the session was still going on. Priyono, Sri, and Gilang were still at the venue till 16:00.

In the evening we went to a Melayuan resto named Selera Bersama.
