Kinship Gathering

It was Wednesday. We went to Jakarta. We started from home at 05:30. We had breakfast at the Bu Haji Ciganea Resto in the KM97 Rest Area. At 09:40 we arrived at the Gambir Station. Mahardi parked his car there and he went to the Transportation Research Center on the other side of the station. I came in a Indomart stall to fill my e=money and bought a cup of coffee.

After having coffee I tried the Jakarta transport system named TransJakarta. I got in a bus at the Gambir-2 Stop and led to Pulogadung. The bus was air conditioned and comfortable. The fare was Rp3.500 and the passenger paid it using e-money card. I got off at the Cempaka Timur Stop and maintained myself still in the bus area going to the Cempaka Mas-2 Stop. I took a bus going to Cawang. I got off at the Pemuda Pramuka Stop. I walked to the Pramuka BPKP Stop. Then I got in a bus going to Dukuh Atas. After getting off at the Dukuh Atas-2 Stop, I walked to the Dukuh Atas-1 Stop to get the bus going to Blok M Terminal. I exited the busway area and walked around the Blok M area. I had a mi aceh dish in the Blok M Terminal.

I contacted Mahardi, he had checked in the Sofyan Inn, Tebet, so I went there. I entered the Blok M Busway Terminal and got in a bus going to Kota. I got off at the Bendungan Hilir Stop. I walked to the Semanggi Stop to get a bus going to Cawang. At the Pancoran Tugu Stop I got off the bus and walked to the inn. The distance was about 800m. I checked in the inn. It was clean an nice. I was just there for a while.

Then I got in a Metro Mini bus to go to Menteng Pulo to see Dastan. The fare was Rp4.000. I get off at the Jembatan Merah and walked to Dastan's house. Dastan was sleeping but then he woke up. He seemed so happy for being visited. At 17:30 I left Dastan for being back to the inn.

At 18:30 I went to the Sapta Taruna Building in the Ministry of Public Works area to join a kinship gatering. It was a gathering of the ITB Civil Engineering Alumni. I went there by a Gocar car. The cost was Rp27.000. It took about 30 minutes to arrived at the place. About more than 100 alumni gathered from the class 1970 to class 2012. About 23 people were from my class, Class 1975. At about 21:00 I was back to the hotel. Bambang W gave me a ride.
