It was Tuesday. At 08:30 I and Nuri left the house for Malang. We stopped by Mr. Didik's house to inform our leaving. Mr. Didik, Mbak Poppy, and Nikmah were in. Then, we bought a pack of cake in downtown for Yayuk.
We arrived at Yayuk's house in Jember at 10:00. Yayuk was Nuri's classmate when they were studying in the University of Jember, Law Class 1976. They shared anythings about their environment. At 11:00 we left Jember for Malang. We took the route of Lumajang, Pasirian, Dampit, Turen, and Kepanjen. We stopped by at a pecel Madiun kiosk in Tanggul, a place still in the Jember Regency. The segment of Pasirian and Dampit was on the embankment of the Semeru Volcano. The scenery was supposed to be very beautiful but it was raining in that time so we did not see the beauty.
At about 18:45 we arrived at the Mi Kudusan where we had 2 bowls of wonton mushrooms noodles for our dinner. It was tasty. With a cup of coffee, a glass of lime juice, a portion of fried wonton, I spent Rp71.000.
At 19:45 we arrived at the Armyn Guesthouse on Jalan Telomoyo. The receptionist recognized us as the guest since I have booked the room via Agoda. We got room #25. We were satisfied with the room environment. It was clean, spacious, and Wi-Fi equipped.
