Going to Medan

It is Thursday. The Black-4 Thursday-8 (Kamis Wage 12). We left the hotel at 08:30 for Kualanamu. I, Mahardi, Satria, and Dodi in the black Xenia car. Frans, Tian, and Mutia in the white Avanza car. We stopped many times.

First stop was in Porsea. Some of us looked for andaliman, a specific Batak spice. The market was dirty, because of bad construction and bad operation.

Second stop was Ganda Bakery in Pematangsiantar. Some of us bought bread with a specific jam inside.

Third stop was a muslim resto in Perbaungan where we had lunch. Compare to the Simpangtiga Resto, the food at the first resto was less tasty.

At about 16:00 we arrived at the Kualanamu Airport. Five people were continuing their trip to Jakarta while I and Mahardi went to Medan for overnight. We used the airport railink system to get there. The cost was Rp80.000 per passenger. The train departed at 16:23 and arrived at the Medan station at 17:03. By a taxi we came to our hotel, Madani Hotel. I was at room #416 while Mahardi at room #415.

In the evening we dined at Mie Aceh, Titi Bobrok and had durian at the Ucok Durian.
