Eid ul Fitr

It was Eid ul Fitr, the first day of Shawal 1433H, we, the Islam believers celebrated the end of fasting season. The celebration usually is conducted by joining the Eid Prayer, sharing greetings and shakehands and eating special food. The special food for Javanese is opor ayam (a javanese styled chicken curry), kupat or lontong (boiled rice in wrapped by coconut or banana leaf). In my home, Nuri added them with bambu shoot hot curry and tempe hot curry.

I got up at 05:00 and prepared myself to pray. At 06:30 I and Nuri joined the Eid Praying at Attaqwa Mosque. When we was at home again, Mbak Tin's family, Mr and Ms Sumar, Mr and Ms Djarwono, Mr and Ms Kuswari, Puji, Ambar and husband came by to pay their greeting to us. We also paid our greeting to Ms Tashak. In the evening I and Nuri came to Carrefour to buy fruit.
