Kenduri

Continuing the nyadran festival today we organizes kenduri gathering. Kenduri gathering is congragation prayer by people in the surrounding neighbourhood for the prosper of the host's ancestors . They recite several Quran verses and doas end the session. There were about 30 persons joined the session.

I got up at 05:00, prayed and slept again. Peni prepared nasi goreng for the breakfast and it was good. There was a celebration on the police office in front of our house. Today was the Indonesia Police Day. I, Rahutama and Lik Santo had our lunch at a mushroom resto in Kembangarum area.

This day I had 3 wedding party invitations that I could not join. The first was from Mr Widodo that organized a party at Wisma Batari Surakarta at 10:00 to celebrate the marriage of his daughter, Khoirunnisa Indah Kurniasih which married to Bentar Aji Prasetyo. The second was from Mr Achmad Sulchan that organized a party at Ranggawarsita Museum Building Semarang at 11:00 to celebrate the marriage of his son, Yustiar Sulchantifa Irmadi which married to Erna Wahningsih. The third was from Mr Arief Istamam that organized a party at Jeddah Building, Haj Transit Boarding House Semarang at 11:00 to celebrate the marriage of his daughter, Ira Siti Syarrah which married to Hasnan Ash Siddiqie. Mr Widodo was my colleague when I served in the Bengawan Solo Water Resources Management Office, Surakarta. Mr Sulchan and I shared members of the School Committee of the Semarang First State Secondary School. Mr Arief was my colleagues when I served at Central Java Water Supply Project

I and Rahutama went back to Semarang at 20:00 after Kenduri was over. Peni was with us. The traffic was congested at Secang so we took Grabag - Kopeng - Salatiga. We arrived at home at 22:30.
