Going to Singapore

It is Tuesday. At 1:16 the train arrived at Gambir Station. We were off board and still in the station to wait for the airport bus. The bus would begin in service at 3:00.

At 3:40 we came to the bus lane, bought tickets at Rp80.000 and got on board, in a smallbus. At 3:00 the bus departed for the airport along with about 10 passengers. An hour later we got off at Terminal 3. We missed to be off at Terminal 2. By a Bluebird shuttle bus we went back to Terminal 2, platform 2F, where Batik Air Internasional Flight has the base. The cost was Rp5.000 each.

At 5:00 we checked in flight ID7351, entered the platform, had a cup of coffee in Warung Java, entered the waiting room F3, and paid the prayer. At 7:01 we were called for boarding, we were seated on seat 20A,and 20B. At 8:04 our Airbus 320 took off for Singapore. It was smooth, at 10:30 local time we landed at Changi Airport of Singapore. Singapore time is an hour ahead of West Indonesia Time.

We entered terminal 3 destination. I found that it was so spacious. We walked on long track. Some parts were equiped with travelators. I estimated that we walked more than 1km. The terminal also had more than 1level. We went down a level to find the immigration gates. We just scan our passports, our faces, and our fingerprints. We walked again and went down again to get the airport train.

The Airport train station was Changi Airport CG2 Station. The train sent me to Tanah Merah CG EW4. We changed to get EW line train from Tanah Merah EW4 to City Hall EW4 NS25. We changed to NS line to get to Dhoby Ghaut NS24. Dhoby Ghaut Station was under Singapore Plaza where the DBS Bank located. This station had many exits, one of them was to the building. DBS Bank was on Basement 1. We got there. It was about 12:00. We then was given a queu paper. An hour later our turn came. The clerk served us efficiently. About a quarter hour was used to process. Then, it finished. Nuri succeeded to close her account.

We then went to the basement 2 to get meals but we just buy 2 patties from Old Chang Kee 老曾记 booth. Then we went up to Nasi Lemak Ayam Taliwang counter on floor 6, we got our late lunch there.

At about 14:00 we came to Hotel Supreme for checking in. The room was quite old but clean. We just needed it for getting a rest.

After maghrib time we went to Al Madinah Resto, about 150m to the west from the hotel. I tried Mi Bandung at about S$6.00, it was tasty. We then walked to Orchard Central and Centrepoint buildings. In Centrepoint building we bought a tasty tuna croissant.
