Going Out

It is Thursday. The Black Thursday (Respati Cemeng 12). At 10:30 I and Nuri went to Sri yatim Sartopo notary office on Jalan Menoreh. We wanted to close our land selling transaction done 6 six years ago. The buyer asked Nuri to show her tax administrative account. The clerk told in a new regulation, the seller should have the account.

We went to the tax administration office on Jalan Imam Bonjol to have the accounts. About a quarter hour we processed them. Finally, our accounts had been issued. We went back to the notary office to give the copy of the account sheet.

On the way we stopped at Joglosemar agent on Jalan Pemuda to buy a ticket to Magelang. I would go there to join a reunion on August the 5th. The price was Rp75.000.

Renewing Resident Card

It is Wednesday. The Yellow Wednesday (Buda Palguna 14). At 10:00 I was accompanied by Nuri coming to Residence Administration Service Unit in the Semarang Barat Suburban Office (Kantor Kecamatan) to renew my resident card. The card was so old, the printed data was wiped out, so I needed to get the new one. A front officer gave me a queue paper. About 5 minutes later my turn came and I came to a booth. An officer took my resident card and he processed to print a new one. He also helped me to renew my card digital application. About 5 minutes later I got the new card.

On the way back home we came to Store on Jalan Indraprasta to buy a knee decker. I got a tie decker at Rp225.000. We also came to Virgin Bakery on Jalan Pamularsih to buy snacks.

Visiting a Colleague

It is Saturday. The Black Saturday (Tumpak Cemengan 13). At 6:55 I and Nuri went to Jogja to visit my colleague, Herry R. Firdaus. He was treated in Queen Latifa Hospital Gamping, Sleman Regency for his stroke attack.

Our trip was going smooth. We stopped by at SPBU Gajahmungkur for refueling and drawing cash. We traced national road. At 8:05 we stopped by at Gudeg Merakmati, Bawen for having breakfast. At about 10:30 we arrived at Sleman City Mall for shopping grapes for destination souvenirs. At about 11:45 we arrived at the destination.

Herry was placed in Anggrek Room 24. He was with 2 other patients. His youngest son was accompanying him. He looked healthy but felt no strength. We talked for about an hour. At about 12:30 we went back to Semarang.

We came to the mall again for having lunch. Nuri then did shopping while I was in JCo counter to have coffee. At about 14:00 we left the mall. Going to Jakarta

It is Thursday. The Loving Thursday (Kamis Kliwon 16). At 8:30 we had breakfast at Al Madinah Resto. At 10:00 we checked out from the hotel. We walked to Plaza Singapore to get Dhoby Ghaut. Our cards contained less than Sin$3,00 each will not enough to get the airport. So, we topped it Sin$2,00 each. Our trip to the airport was just on time so we arrived at the airport and the card balance had balance more than S$2,00.

We arrived at the airport at about 10:00 so we had time to go exploring the airport environment. we firstly checked in at Batik Booth. There were many rows where carrier boothes located. Lion Group occupied the furthest row from we entered. We walked for about 500m. After getting the boarding pass. We went to Changi Jewel, a man made 40m waterfall. We walked for about 1km to get there. The waterfall was beautiful surrounded with park and shopping gallery. we were there for about 30minutes and then walked back to the terminal 3. We came to the immigration inspection and entered the gates gallery. Ours was gate 11, the farthest from the entrance.

Because we had lot of time so checked at a food area to get lunch. We tasted noodles and coffee from Encik Tan booth. They were nice. We also bought some patties from Old Chang Kee 老曾记 booth Lanjutannya...

Being in Singapore

It was Wednesday. The Black Wednesday (Rabu Wage 11). We were out of the hotel at about 10:00, We had breakfast at Madinah resto. Nuri tasted cheese prata while I had rice n egg curry. Then, we were at Lucky plaza to get souvenirs.

We thought we had to go another place, so we took MRT to get us to Bugis Market. We started from Orchard to City Hall Stations of NS line then changed to EW line to get to Bugis Station. Bugis Market was across Rochor Rd. We were there for about 2 hours, shopping souvenirs and having lunch.

We were back again tracing the track as we came. Nuri shopped again in Lucky Plaza. At about 17:00 we were in the hotel again.

After maghrib time I accompanied Nuri shopping again. She shopped in Orchard Plaza nearby then went to Center Point to buy green grapes. On the back to the hotel we stopped at Al Madinah Resto to have dinner. Lanjutannya...

Going to Singapore

It is Tuesday. At 1:16 the train arrived at Gambir Station. We were off board and still in the station to wait for the airport bus. The bus would begin in service at 3:00.

At 3:40 we came to the bus lane, bought tickets at Rp80.000 and got on board, in a smallbus. At 3:00 the bus departed for the airport along with about 10 passengers. An hour later we got off at Terminal 3. We missed to be off at Terminal 2. By a Bluebird shuttle bus we went back to Terminal 2, platform 2F, where Batik Air Internasional Flight has the base. The cost was Rp5.000 each.

At 5:00 we checked in flight ID7351, entered the platform, had a cup of coffee in Warung Java, entered the waiting room F3, and paid the prayer. At 7:01 we were called for boarding, we were seated on seat 20A,and 20B. At 8:04 our Airbus 320 took off for Singapore. It was smooth, at 10:30 local time we landed at Changi Airport of Singapore. Singapore time is an hour ahead of West Indonesia Time.

We entered terminal 3 destination. I found that it was so spacious. We walked on long track. Some parts were equiped with travelators. I estimated that we walked more than 1km. The terminal also had more than 1level. We went down a level to find the immigration gates. We just scan our passports, our faces, and our fingerprints. We walked again and went down again to get the airport train.

The Airport train station was Changi Airport CG2 Station. The train sent me to Tanah Merah CG EW4. We changed to get EW line train from Tanah Merah EW4 to City Hall EW4 NS25. We changed to NS line to get to Dhoby Ghaut NS24. Dhoby Ghaut Station was under Singapore Plaza where the DBS Bank located. This station had many exits, one of them was to the building. DBS Bank was on Basement 1. We got there. It was about 12:00. We then was given a queu paper. An hour later our turn came. The clerk served us efficiently. About a quarter hour was used to process. Then, it finished. Nuri succeeded to close her account.

We then went to the basement 2 to get meals but we just buy 2 patties from Old Chang Kee 老曾记 booth. Then we went up to Nasi Lemak Ayam Taliwang counter on floor 6, we got our late lunch there.

At about 14:00 we came to Hotel Supreme for checking in. The room was quite old but clean. We just needed it for getting a rest.

After maghrib time we went to Al Madinah Resto, about 150m to the west from the hotel. I tried Mi Bandung at about S$6.00, it was tasty. We then walked to Orchard Central and Centrepoint buildings. In Centrepoint building we bought a tasty tuna croissant. Lanjutannya...

Anindya, Dastan, and Aishalina were ready to sent us to the station.

At 18:20 Anindya dropped us at Tawang Station. They directly went back to their house because Dastan was not in a good condition. He was vomiting.

Beside me, they were Wismaningsih, Tatik Sutarti, Sri Rahayu, Yani Srinugroho, Khodirin, Mursito, Ekowati Prihdaryanti, her husband, Marsudi, Retno Poedjianti, Hamim Ridwan, Agus Supriyanto, Arus Horizon, Sarjono, Ramelan, and Hariyanto.

The resto was in the old fashioned house. It was nice. They provide tasty dishes. I tried spinach stir fry, fried spiced fish, and steamed fish paste. They also provided us with dessert. I found they attendants were enjoying the food.

It is Friday. The Red Friday (Sukra Jenar 15). In the morning at about 8:30 I and Nuri went to Nurseto's house in Kradenan area. We just wanted to pass our citizen card copies to him since yesterday he had asked for them. He needed them to change the land ownership. We met him in his house along wiht his wife. After submitting the copies we went back home. On the way home we shopped at Superindo Supermarket Simongan.

At 12:00 I joined Friday congregational prayer in Masjid at Taqwa.

At 13:00 I and Nuri went to Anindya's house to motivate Dastan. Dastan was just circumcised. We met the gangs, Om Benny and Mrs. Djoni.

Going to Jogja

It is Thursday. The Sweet Thursday (Respati Manis 13). At about 7:55 I and Nuri left the house for Jogja. Our intention was to trace the new toll road section, Klaten Prambanan Section. Since yesterday, July the 2nd, the section had been in service for free. We stopped by at PFU Pamularsih and Virgin Bakery to refuel and to have snacks, respectively. We entered toll road at Jatingaleh Gate and exited at Ungararan GAte. At 19:17 we arrived at Gudeg Merakmati REsto for having breakfast. We entered the toll road again at Bawen Gate and exited at Boyolali Gate. We entered again at Banyudono Gate. It was the beginning of the Solo JOgja Toll Road. At 11:35 we ecited at Prambanan Gate. The traffic leading to Pasar Beringharjo was congested. At about 13:00 we arrived at Pasar Beringharjo.

In Pasar Beringharjo we shopped snacks, clothes, and had lunch. We got ourselves at Bu Hadi Canteen to have gado-gado. The dish was usual, but it was overpriced. At about 14:15 we left Pasar Beringharjo.

The traffic going to Prambanan was also congested. We spent about an hour to get us to Prambanan Gate. Before entering the toll road we stopped by at SPBU Pertamina 44.574.16 Kemudo Prambanan, Klaten REgency, for refueling.
