Abandoning Fasting

This day was supposed to be my fasting of the day 11 but I had to abandon it because we welcomed guests. Dede stopped by home on his way to the airport. With him were Mr Jon and a gentleman.

This morning I got up at 03.00, had breakfast, prayed and slept again. I got up again at 07.30 and wiped the floor. After dhuhur time I and Nuri went to a cake house on Jalan MT Haryono. After maghrib time I and Nuri went to Mr Surjadi's house to put my paper concerning my certificate application.

Paying Condolence

At 10.00 I accompanied by Rahutama came to Supardi's house at Karangrejo area to pay my condolence to him for the passing a way of his wife. At the crowd I met Dirmawan, Mr Supangat, Mrs Suhartono, Mrs Zaenal, etc.

I got up at 03.00 to have early breakfast. My diet was just 'closed pastel', a cake made of potato pasta with mix of chicken, mushroom, carrot etc inside. I slept again after praying.

In the evening I went to an ATM at Pamularsih PFU to take money, came to Joksi store to buy printer ink and came to Antok Salon to trim my hair. Rahutama had English course.

Banking

It was the ninth of Muharam so we, muslim, were recomended to be voluntary fasting. The fasting would be in 3 days: the ninth, the tenth and the eleventh of Muharam. I had no early breakfast but I was still deliberately fasting.

At noon I came to Bank BCA Pemuda to take my new ATM card. It was heavy cloudy and after I was in the bank it turned to heavy raining. It took about 1 hour to settle my business. It was no raining when I went back home. In the evening after breaking my fasting and having maghrib praying I accompanied Nuri seeing a dentist. Nuri had not been seen the dentist for a long time.

Anindya Going to Jakarta

I got up at 04.30 to pray and slept again. I got up again at 07.30. I wiped and mopped the floor. Anindya went out to gather to her friends. My breakfast was rice and ebi tempura. I and Rahutama went to Matahari Simpanglima to buy an ink catridge. At 15.30 Anindya left home for the Ahmad Yani Airport. With Lion Air she would depart for Jakarta at 17.00.

In the evening I and Rahutama picked up Dede from the Gumaya Hotel for dinner. We had it at Gama Candi Resto. Afterward, we tracked the new toll road to Ungarang. We wanted to show him a new sightseeing of Semarang. At about 21.00 we dropped him at the hotel. Lanjutannya...

Welcoming Guests

At 20.00 we welcomed guests. They were Mr Djoni, his wife Ms Sri, his sons Dimas, his relative Beni and Dimas's girlfriend Selvi. They came home to proposed marriage with some conditions. I, NUri and Anindya just welcomed them and received explanation of the conditions. We had not confirmed the proposal yet because it was difficult for us. I asked Anindya to talk again with Bagus.

This morning I got up late so I lost my prayer. I made morning walk through Jalan Pamularsih, Jalan Puspogiwang Timur and Jalan Sudirman. I then washed the car. At 10.00 I came to Nugroho's house attending election for ITB Alumni chairman. I met Mr Zaenal, Mr Hidayat, Mr Purwandi, Mr Tudjono etc. The committee provided artists to sketch our face so we had it when we were back home. Lanjutannya...

Shopping

I got up at 05.00 and still had enough time to pray. After praying I slept again. Ratna came home just to chat with Nuri. My breakfast was just roasted whole grain bread with pindakas and strawberry jam. I felt stuff until noon.

I joined my friday worshipping at Attaqwa Mosque. The preacher recommended muslim to be voluntary fasting at Muharam the 9, 10 and 11. In the afternoon I and Nuri shopped at Carrefour and Ada Supermarkets. On the home I came to the airport to take a package but it had not come yet. After maghrib time I and Rahutama took it. We had dinner at Widodo Sate House. The package consisted of street banners for Hermanto campaign. I and Pranoto displayed them in Undip area. Lanjutannya...

Being at Home

It was my fate of getting up at 04.00. It meaned I only had dawn praying but not early breakfast. I still kept my fasting on. Nuri and Rahutama took the option to leave fasting. I was at home all day long. I used my time to read and surf in the internet. I was cloudy since the morning so the temperature was fair.

At about 16.40 I broke my fasting. There was no special sweet or food but I still enjoyed that available.
