Edi Siswanto, my old time classmate, fetched me. He accompanied me to come to his house and to have breakfast at a kiosk in Patikraja. I then traced the toll road to reach the Tawang Station. It was raining heavily. The look distance was limited. I drove slowly. I arrived at the station a minute before 16:00. At 09:15 we were boarding and at about 09:50 our Citilink QG671 took off for Surabaya. I was on seat 16C. The day was clear and our flying was nice. At 11:30 we landed at the Juanda Airport of Surabaya. We checked out, had lunch in a food booth, went in for checking in. A guard told us that the Garuda counter was at the Terminal 2, a new terminal located on the other side of the runway. A shuttle bus brought us there. The Terminal 2 was silver grey look. It was very nice and spacious. We checked in and entered the waiting room on upstair. I did my prayers on the ground floor before going upstair. We were in the waiting room for about 3 hours. At about 15:20 we boarded in the Bombardier CJ1000 Garuda GA 365. I got seat 26K. At about 15:50 we took off. Although narrow, the craft was nice and quieter than our last Boeing. Today we planned to visit authorities having connection to our work. The first authority was the River Basins Management Office of Sulawesi I (BWS Sulawesi I). Our purpose was to get the river basins map where the toll road take place). We failed because the man in charge had not arrived. At the second visit we met Mr. Daan Redley Namare, the Head of Implementation Section. From him we got data of river basins but not the drawing.
The second visit was to the Mapanget Meteorology Station. An officer, Mr. Singapore, suggested us to go to the Karayuwan Meteorology Station. A lady, Ms. Febriani, explained us how to get data we wanted. Leaving the office we went back to the BWS office for the second visit.
The third visit was to the North Sulawesi Planning Authority. A lady officer suggested us to go to the North Sulawesi Public Works Authority. We met officers at the Spatial Planning Division, Mr. Dani and Mr. Nico. From him we got the North Sulawesi Spatial General Planning RTRW.
After having lunch in a padangese styled resto we came to the forth destination, the North Sulawesi Office of the National Land and Space Authority (Kanwil Sulut BPN ATR). We wanted to get land use map. We failed to get it because the man in charge was absent.

At 09:00 a car fetched us. The driver was Fernando. We checked out of the hotel and went to a point in the National road of Menado - Bitung to meet Djatmiko, our surveying officer. It was the location designated as the underpass of the planned toll road of Menado Bitung. After meeting him we started to survey along the road from K-14 (kilometer stone 14) of the tool road to the end (entrance of the Bitung Harbour Container Terminal. Our survey was about to design the drainage system of the toll road.
Because we were lack of maps and the alignment was not clear enough we only identify the cross drain along the national road. We know that the toll road was parallel to the national one. The survey run flowing so at 13:00 local time we reached the end. We then had lunch at a padangese styled resto.
