Being at Home

It is Saturday. In the morning I was still home to recover my freshness. I felt so exhausted. Before dhuhur time I and Nuri went to an electrical shop to by a mustitester. I needed it to fix our connecting cord. Then we came to Balad shop to bu a lamp. We also by some snack to be a gift for Anindya and his gang.

We went to Anindya's house in the Bimasakti Housing on Jalan Badak. We wanted to see Dastan and Ailin. We also wanted to know the progress on their installment. They seemed to be happy so we were happy, too. Bagus had not come yet. He was still in Kayen. Lanjutannya...

Going Back to Semarang

Ir is Friday. At 06:00 I had breakfast in the resto on the ground floor. The dishes looked tasty but I just took fruit, omelet, salad, and coffee. At 08:00 we checked out for Cilincing.

We visited a North Jakarta dyke construction at Cilincing area executed by PT Wika Contractor. It is part of the National Capital Integrated Development implemented by the Directorate General of Water Resources. The officer, Mr. Sudato, told he run a development project of coastal Jakarta in which the main work is the dyke construction. The cost of construction is around Rp150 million per meter.

Leaving the project we went to a masjid, ITC Mangga Dua mall, and Sederhana resto. At 12:20, on the way to the mall we joined the Friday prayer at Masjid Jamik Al Barakah. We was in a hurry because the preacher was almost ending his speech. At 12:45 we arrived in Mangga Dua Mall. Some of us were shopping while I was walking around. At 15:10 we came to the Sederhana Padangese Resto. I did my ashr prayer here. We were here till 16:00 the left for the airport.

As usual, on this Friday, the way, the toll road, to the airport was congested. It took about 2 hours to get there. But we were relaxed because we had much spare time.

At 18:00 we arrived at the Terminal 3 Gate 3. There was no showering. At 19:05 we were call for boarding. At 19:55 our plane, Garuda Boeing 737-800NG flight number GA246 took off for Semarang. I was on seat number 48H. At 20:45 we landed on the airport of Semarang. It seemed that a heavy rain was just stopped. Nuri picked me up for home. Audience

It is Wednesday. In the morning it was cloudy. I went to the office at 07:10. I just had a cup of coffee there. At 07:45 I went to the Directorate General of Water Resources office on Jalan Patimura by a blue bird taxi. It costed Rp58.000, paid by Gopay. At 09:00 I arrived at the point.

After putting my identification card on the front desk I went to the canteen on the basement for having breakfast. The event would be at 10:00 I had to wait for the group. I also waited for Pudjo as requested by Benny on my way here. Pudjo came at 10:00 along with his business partner. We discussed about business he would commit with Benny. Fortunately, the event had not commenced yet. At 10:30 we dismissed since the event was commencing.

The event was an audience between the Central Java Water Resources Council and the national level authorities on hydrology information system. The authorities were DG of Water Resources for surface hydrology, DG of Energy and Mineral Resources, and Agency of Meteorological, Climatological, and Geophysical. The meeting was led by Mr. M. Arsyadi, Head of Secretariat of the National Water Resources Council. He sat next to Mr. P. B.Yuwono, Daily Chairman of the CJWR Council. The three authorities were representing their achievement concerning to the system followed by a discussion.

At 14:00 we went to the Agency of MCG in the Kemayoran area. We were explained how a climatology information was managed and released to the public.

At 18:00 we had dinner in a seafood resto, the Bandar Jakarta Resto, in the Jaya Ancol Beach area. It was a big and busy one. A mushalla was also available so we could do our prayer there. I found that the dishes were tasty. I enjoyed them.

Meeting

It is Wednesday. It was showering in the morning but it was clear when I went to the office. The office was almost empty since most of the engineers were going to Balikpapan to attend a showcause meeting. Benny would go there tomorrow morning to lead the team. This day he came to the office at 11:00. He found a terrible traffic jam on the way to the office. Following to the shower there will be a traffic jam.

In the office I recalculate the side ditch flow rate. I made a new table. I thought the concept in analysis had to be reformulated. 

At 13:00 I was with Benny going to the National Toll Road Company (PT Jasa Marga) to present our progress report on composing the feasibility study of Tomang to Airport Toll Road. Along with us there were Utayanto, Mugiono, Gugun, etc. Mugiono was the presenter, Benny gave opening speech, and I added with hydrology information. Ms. Rosma was the officer in charge to whom the report was delivered. She was being with other officers. At 16:00 the meeting concluded, we went back to the office. I brought my snack box with me.

Being in the Office

It is Tuesday. I arrived at the office at 10:00. I worked to fix the analysis of the side ditch flow rate. There is Basa, Usodo, and Danu in the office. They were just supervising the office.

Benny asked all engineers to go to Balikpapan along with him to join a showcause meeting. I denied to go since I would join the Central Java Water Resources Council undergoing excursion in Jakarta.

Going to Jakarta

It is Monday. In the morning at 05:30 Nuri dropped me at the Tawang Station. I would go to Jakarta. My train was Argo Sindoro. I got coach number 3, seat number 5A.

The train departed on time, at 06:00 o'clock. I slept almost in all time because in the night previously I got work. Beside me was a sailor. We chatted in the time about to arrived. I got off at the Jatinegara Station at 11:50. I had lunch at Bakso Malang counter in the station. I then took a Gojek car to bring me to the office. It costed Rp48.000. I arrived there at 13:00. I was in the office till 17:30.

Discussion

It is Sunday. In the morning at 06:30 I washed and dried my clothes. It is my usual work every Sunday. At 09:00 I went to Pranoto's house to discuss the drainage matters of the Balsam Toll Road project. He explained the applying chute and drop structures in the project. At 11:00 I went back home.

The day was cloudy I thought the rain would drop. As a matter of fact the sky clear again and no rain came. I worked on the Morowali Airport drainage design.

Graduation

It is Saturday. In the morning at 05:00 Rahutama joined us for showering in the hotel. He told he did not have a hot water at his boarding house. Then, at 06:00 we checked out the hotel and went to the Indonesia Islamic University at Kaliurang. We wanted to attend Rahutama's master degree graduation. When we arrived at the venue the crowds had been building up. We got a parking space about 300 meters from the venue, the Kahar Muzakir Hall.

At 08:00 the graduation procession commenced led by the rector. We the guests were seated as numbers we got. More than 700 students were installed as the graduates. I one time slept on my seat because I felt very sleepy. There were other guests slept too. We found students were installed one by one. At 12:00 the procession concluded. We joined the crowds. We met Arijadi (my high school mate), Hari Utomo (my childhood neighbor), and Gatot (my secondary n high school mate). Their children were also installed today.

We then accompanied Rahutama to settled his administration at the Faculty of Economics in Condongcatur area. We had lunch at the nasi puyung kiosk. We then accompanied Rahutama applying a public servant job, electronically at his boarding house.

Going to Surakarta

It is Friday. The Loving-8 Friday-6 (Jumat Kliwon 14). At 09:00 we left the Bukit Barisan guesthouse for Surakarta. We wanted to shop fabric at the Beteng Market. We stopped by at a nasi puyung kiosk on Jalan Kaliurang for breakfast. Nasi puyung is a kind of rice completed by various matrix such as fried soy bean, sour chicken, hot chillied long bean, and fried fracture crispy potato. It is a traditional fish of Sasak (Lombok) etnic group.

At 11:30 we arrived at Solo Square Mall. Nuri was window shopping while I joined the Friday prayer at a masjid nearby. The masjid was small but clean and comfortable.

After praying I seek Frans' house at Kampung Kagokan nearby. I was informed by local dwellers that Frans had passed a way at about the year 2013. His house, then I knew on Jalan Laos Utara, was settled by his daughter. I then left the place and joined Nuri. We went to the market.

About 2 hour we were there. Nuri was going around to seek fabric she wanted. I waited for her at a food kiosk.

At 16:30 we left the market for lunch. We wanted to have it at a soto gading counter but it closed. So, we went to the Tamansari Resto in Colomadu area. We had late lunch and ashr prayer there.

Going to Jogja

It is Thursday. It is the day first of the Hijriah Year 1438. In the morning I did the hydrologic report of Morowali IMIP Airport. After dhuhur time I accompanied by Rahutama went to the Tawang Station to buy a train ticket. I would go to Jakarta on Monday.

Welcoming New Islamic Year

It is Wednesday. I was being at home. Dastan went to the play group accompanied by Nuri, as usual. At about 13:00 Anindya took Dastan, Ailin, and Bibik to their house in Gayamsari area. Later, I knew there would be a thankful benediction there to enter the house for the first time. This evening they would be overnight there.

In the evening I supposed to join a gathering at Jakahir's house to welcome the new islamic year. Traditional food was provided. I did not join it to maintain my health. Lanjutannya...

Fixing Car Door Stopper

It is Tuesday. In the morning I went to the Nasmoco Workshop, Majapahit to fix the rear door stopper. I arrived there by 08:00. The mechanic then took the car and fixed it. At about 09:30 it was fixed. I paid the service, Rp350.000. I then went home.

At just arriving at home Pranoto called me for discussion. I went to the lab. We decussed about finishing our work. At 13:30 I went home.

At 14:00 I offered Rahutama to have lunch at Bu Lin's kiosk. We had nasi mangut there at Rp32.000, total. Lanjutannya...

Being at Home

It is Monday. In the morning Nuri dropped Dastan at his playing group. After that I used the car to the Nasmoco Workshop in Jalan Sudiarto, The stopper of the rear door was broken. As suggested by the mechanic I ordered the sparepart today and would be back tomorrow. The sparepart costed about Rp250.000 and I gave the down payment of Rp100.000.

It is Sunday. I was at home. I filled my day with washing, drying, and ironing my clothes. xeAnindya was busy to fill her new rent house with appliances.

At 20:00 I fetched Nuri at the Tawang Station. The parkir yard was so full so I parked at the parking track with I was still in. At 30:35 I picked Nuri up.

Joining a Wedding Party

It is Saturday. At 02:00 in the morning the train arrived at the Poncol Station. It had stopped many times due to the track disturbance in the segment of Alastuwo and Tawang. It stopped at Weleri, Bodri, Kaliwungu, Mangkang, and Jrakah to give track for opposite trains.

After getting off at the Poncol Station I order a Gojek bike to ride me home. Nuri opened me the door. She was waiting for me.

In the morning at 05:00 Anindya dropped Nuri at the Tawang Station. Today she would go to Surabaya to attend the wedding party of the marriage of her colleague's daughter.
At 11:00 I joined a wedding party at the Pancawati Room Hotel Patrajasa. It organized by Rahman Wahyuadi to celebrate the marriage of his daughter, Rahmani Dwiari Fibrianti. She married to Urfan Rusyda, Tekad's son. Either Rahman or Tekad was my colleague during my service in the provincial government. I met the other colleagues such as Sudirman, Djumono, Novianto, and Nidhom.

Going Back To Semarang

It is Friday. I went to the office at 09:00. I bought snacks from a kiosk on the way to the office. When I arrived there some employees had not been in yet. I distributed the snacks to employees on the ground-floor. I checked Gugun about the finished drawings. He replied they were still in process. I made narrative fixing on the report.

At 12:00 I joined the congregational Friday prayer at masjid nearby, Masjid Bait Ar Rahim. At 13:00 I had lunch at the Surabaya Food stall nearby. At 13:45 I left the office for Gambir Station. I used a Gojek bike to PGC Terminal then I transferred myself to a busway bus leading to Ancol. At Kampung Melayu I transferred to a busway bus to Ancol. The bus would stop at the Senen Sentral terminal. At that terminal I transferred to a busway bus going to Harmoni. I got off  at the Gambir Station at 15:30. I had much time to wait for my train. I had a cup of coffee and a donut at the Indomart shop.

At 16:45 I boarded and at 16:50 my train, the Sembrani Tambahan departed for Surabaya Pasarturi. It was 5 minutes late.

The coach number 7 where I was in was terrible because the air conditioning system was out of order. I was sweated and I thought the other passengers were. Some passengers complained to the train officers but they did not show good job. Lanjutannya...

Going to Jakarta

It is Thursday. I felt better though I did not join qigong. After dhuhur time I went to the Tawang Station to by a return ticket to Semarang. I got a 20% discount because of my age over than 60.

Nuri dropped me at the airport at 17:30. I would go to Jakarta. My flight was JT 515 scheduled to depart at 18:35. As usual it was delayed to 19:40.

I was on the seat number 20F in the Lionair Boeing 737-900ER. About an hour later it landed on the airport of Cengkareng, north runway. It then taxied to the south runway side to get to the Lionair Terminal  1A.  At 21:00 I excited the terminal building, and 21:25 I was in the airport bus. Gathering

It is Wednesday. I did not feel my body good. I thought I was suffered by influenza. Nuri made me tim ayam, a chicken soup variant.

At 11:00 I accompanied Nuri to gather with the former project employees' wives at the Kampung Kali Chicken counter. The other participants were Bharoto & wife, Widodo & wife, Yatim's wife, Supriyanto's wife, and Arus' wife. It was a monthly gathering. We, the husbands just only accompanied. At 13:00 we dismissed.

It is Tuesday. In the morning I joined qigong in the temple hall. The participants were 12 people. We practiced pengqi guanding and first half part of xing zhuang.

Meeting

It is Monday. At 09:30 I joined a meeting of special committee of the council in the office of Water Resources and Spatial Planning Authority. It was still discussing the hydrology information system. I went there by a Gojek bike. The meeting was attended by the members and experts. Because the contents had been discussed many times so the current discussion can be concluded in short time. At 11:00 it was concluded. Nuri picked me up home.

Food Bazaar

It is Sunday. I filled my morning by walking and washing. Before dhuhur time I and Nuri went to the Tawang Station to buy tickets. Nuri planned to go to Surabaya on Saturday and go back home on Sunday. She would join a wedding party in Sidoarjo managed by her schoolmate. Then we go to a food bazaar on the parking yard of the Sri Ratu Mall.

The bazaar offered varies of Indonesia foods including non halal food. The venue was full of food boothes and visitors. We bought drinks and a fish based dish. We do not feel comfortable in the bazaar because of crowded and hot.

Joining Wedding Parties

It is Saturday. The Red Saturday (Sabtu Pahing 18). I had to join wedding parties in Magelang and Purworejo at the same time, 11:00 to 13:00 and 12:00 to 14:00. The first party was managed by Sri Redjeki to celebrate the marriage of her daughter, Meilina Indrastuti Dwi Lestari. She married to Driaryanto Kusuma . It was at the New Kebon Tebu Resto in Magelang. The second one was managed by Tyas to celebrate the marriage of her son, Fransiscus Elly Octavian. He married to Maria Resina Restiarti. It was at the Jati Indah Building in Purworejo.

In the morning at 06:00 I, Nuri, and Rahutama left home. Rahutama was the driver. At about 07:00 we arrived at the Banaran Cafe in Bedono. We had breakfast and changed the clothes. At 09:00 we arrived at the Kebon Tebu Resto. The marriage promise was taking place. After it concluded I and Nuri met Sri Redjeki to deliver our wishes. Then we went to Purworejo without attending her party.

We arrived at the venue at 11:00 when the marriage procession was taking place. At 12:00 I and Nuri met Tyas to deliver our wishes and took a picture. I met my old time colleagues such as Wiwik, Retno, Djoko, and Djumadi. At 13:00 we left the venue for home.

We took the route of Tegalrejo - Kopeng - Salatiga to avoid traffic jam in Magelang. Today, the President Jokowidodo was in Magelang to attend the biking there. In Salatiga we stopped by at the Bu Toha Chicken Stall for having lunch. At about 16:00 we arrived at home. Lanjutannya...

Meeting

It is Friday. At 09:20 Nuri dropped me at the office of Central Java Water Resources Authority, I joined a meeting to prepare the coming Plenary Meeting of Central Java WR Council. The meeting was organized in the Kedungombo Room chaired by Suhartono. The attendants were representatives of water resources management office around Central Java. It discussed the sole agenda in the plenary meeting, the draft Governor Regulation on hydrology system information policy.

Going Back to Semarang

It is Thursday. At 08:00 I had breakfast at the warung tegal I usually come. Then I went back to the guesthouse. I left the guesthouse at 09:45. I bought snacks for colleagues. They seemed happy having snacks in the morning.

Basa came this morning. He asked Benny's signatures on the median drainage drawings. I worked to upgrade the report.

At 13:45 I went to the Kampung Rambutan Terminal to get a Damri Airport bus. I used a Gojek bike to get there. At 15:15 I arrived at the airport.

My flight was Lionair JT514 scheduled to depart at 16:40. As usual the flight was delayed. At 18:30 the Lionair Boeing 737-900ER took off for Semarang. I was on seat number 26D. Meeting

It is Wednesday. The Black-4 Wednesday-7 (Rabu Wage 11). We had breakfast in the hotel. The provided simple dishes for us. At 08:00 David picked us up from the hotel. We went to the office of airport authority,

Directorate General of Air Transportation on Jalan Medan Merdeka. On the way, Tjetjep joined us. We arrived there at 09:00.
At 10:15 the meeting started. We actually asked for the Morowali Airport Master Plan approval. The authority then collected the stakeholders to know the correction and recommendation from them. Mahardi presented the matters. Many question but he could give explanation. At 13:00 the meeting came to finish. We dismissed. I went to the office on Jalan Bina Marga. I took a bus to Senen Sentral. Then, I move to a bus to Kampung Melayu terminal. In the terminal I moved again to bus to Kampung Rambutan. I got off at the UKI Cawang stop to changed to a Gojek car. At about 15:00 I arrived at the office.

There were only few people there. Benni was not in. Later, Basa and Gugun came. I discussed the drawings with them. Then, Utayanto came. He wanted to see Kunta.

Going to Jakarta

It is Tuesday. In the morning at 05:00 after praying I went to the airport. Rahutama accompanied me. I would go to Jakarta. My flight was Batik ID6339 scheduled to depart at 07:00. It was on time, at 07:00 the Airbus 320-200  took of from Semarang. I was on seat 28A.
At 08:00 we landed at the Soekarno Hatta Airport of Jakarta. I took a Damri bus to Blok M. Then, from Blok M I took a Gojek car for the TAC office on Jalan Tebet Timur IIIA. At 10:00 I arrived there.
Mahardi and Usi arrived 30 minutes later. David and Cecep then joined us. We discussed our preparation to join a meeting in the office of IMIP in Kuningan area.
At 13:00 we were there. Pak Iwan was not in. There were 3 people from the IMIP involved the discussion. It was not only discussing the matters we would be presenting in the airport authority office but also the construction plan.
At 16:00 we dismissed. I, Mahardi, and Usi checked in the Pop Hotel. I and Mahardi shared room number 308. At 19:00 we had dinner in the Petualang Resto.

Accompanying a Guest

It is Monday.  In the morning at 08:30 I went to the Bank Jateng Pemuda to withdraw my pension salary. There was a customer day celebration. The bank provided snacks and drink. They also asked the customers to dance. They gave us a small bag as a souvenir to us. I then went to the Bank BNI nearby to deposit the salary in Nuri's account.

At 09:30 I picked Hasahatan up from the hotel. We went to the Diponegoro University, Civil Engineering Department to meet Pranoto. He was in and we started to discuss the drainage plan. At 13:30 we went to Pecel Sumo's kiosk on Jalan Setiabudi to have lunch. At 14:30 I dropped him in the hotel.

At 19:00 I picked him up at a printing shop on Jalan Pleburan. He printed drainage drawing. We had dinner in the Soto Bankong kiosk on Jalan Katamso. I finally dropped him at the hotel. Lanjutannya...

Welcoming Guests

It is Sunday. Today I filled my day fully. In the morning I walked till Balad Shop and tracing west perimeter of the flood canal.
Then, I washed my clothes. I also washed the car at Bimasakti Car wash. The third hing of the rear door was broken.

On arriving at home I wanted to iron the clothes. But then Lik Santo and Lik War came. They wanted to visit Argy and his siblings. They wanted to see Rahutama but he was not in.

In the attention I watered the front yard. I also cleaned up the gutter on the valley side.

In the evening I accompanied Hasahatan printing drawings at a printing shop around Undip Peleburan. Then, I served him by having dinner in the Basilia Kitchen. He seemed impressed. Lanjutannya...

Joining a Wedding Party

It is Saturday. The Loving-8 Saturday-9 (Sabtu Kliwon 17). Rahutama went to Jogja. At 11:00 I joined wedding party organized by Mochamad Mazid in the Police Academy Auditorium to celebrate the marriage of his son Lutfian Nabil. He married to Dwi Subandriyani. Many colleagues came to the party. I met Darwin, my class mate in the third echelon leadership training in Medan. He was Mazid's colleague during the service in Bengkulu.

In the evening I accompanied Anindya to see her house in Gayamsari area. Her mother in law rent her a house there. She needed to come there to facilitate a furniture agent put stuff. Lanjutannya...

Eid al Adha

It is Friday. It was Eid al Adha. I joined the sunah congregation prayer at the frontyard of the indoor tennis court on Jalan Pamularsih. I walked to the venue at 05:45. The praying started at 06:30. The imam was a police official as well as the preacher. He reminded us to give a premium home education to the children to reduce social problem in the future.
