Going Back to Semarang

It was Thursday. At 09:00 we were out of the house. Anindya, Mbak Poppy, Dastan, dan Embok went to the airport. Anindya and Dastan would fly Sriwijaya to Semarang. I, Nuri, and Rahutama went back to Semarang on road.
We uses the north: Surabaya - Kebomas - Lamongan - Tuban - Kudus - Semarang. We stopped by Bu Hardjo Resto in Rembang for lunch. At a fueling unit in Kudus we stopped again for praying. We arrived at home at 18:00.
At 20:00 I and Nuri accompanied Anindya and Dastan going to Tavern Resto. Anindya would join her colleagues in a gathering. The resto was crowded by youngsters. I and Nuri took a separate table from Anindya's. I ordered fish & chip while Nuri ordered potato skin. All were tasty.
At 22:00 Mahardi, Erna, Teta, Firda, and Faris came by. They were on their way to Pemalang.

Going to Surabaya

It was Wednesday. Our breakfast was as same as that of yesterday. At 11:00 I, Nuri, Anindya, and Dastan left the house for Surabaya. Nuri was the driver. We stopped by Bu Mimik's house in Besuki. We stopped again at Bromo Resto for lunch. At 18:00 we arrived at the house in Kutisari Indah Lanjutannya...

Visiting Jember

It was Tuesday. The day was going as usual. Nuri bought nasi pecel for our breakfast. It seemed we need vegetable for our diet after having meat dishes all day. Nasi pecel gave us small amount of it.

We (I, Nuri, mbak Poppy, Rahutama, Anindya, and Dastan) visited mbak Eli's house. It was a new house since the old one had been sold. The new was close to the old one. She managed the space neatly so it was comfortable.

In the afternoon I and Rahutama went to Jember. It was just a sight seeing although on the way back we bought 2 pans of pizza. The road between Bondowoso and Jember was crowded. Side by side was almost full of houses or stores. Two decades ago that space was paddy field view. Lanjutannya...

Eid al Fitr

It was Monday. It was Eid al Fitr Festival. I previously wanted to join Eid Prayer but then I cancelled it. Only Nuri joined it.

It was a festival, the house prepared lontong, beef gulai and chicken opor. Some relatives and acquaintances came to pay their greetings. Nuri, Rahutama, Anindya and mbak Poppy went to cemetary to pay their 'greetings', too. I was still in the house to save energy. I received greetings from my colleages and friends. They sent them through social media (facebook) and group discussions (whatsapp, blackberry message group, short message)

Continuing the Trip

It was Sunday. I got up early in the morning to have early breakfast. Nuri and Rahutama were just finishing their early breakfast. At 09:00 we out of the house and went to the airport to pick Anindya and Dastan up.

At the Juanda Airport, Terminal 1, we met Mr. Nugroho AD. He and his wife would pick their son up that would come from Palu.

Anindya and Dastan flew Sriwijaya Air from Semarang. It was scheduled to land at 09:45 but it did earlier, at 09:32. We then went out of the airport soon.

We entered the toll road leading to Gempol area. At the rest area we stopped to clean Dastan, he was puff. We were also fueling at the dispenser available. At the Tongas Asri Resto we stopped again, I had lunch. Soto ayam was my meal. At about 15:00 we arrived at the house in Bondowoso.

On the Way to Surabaya

It was Saturday. I, Nuri, and Rahutama got up at 03:00. We prepared ourselves for a trip. After having early breakfast I we departed at 05:30. Bu Kus and Mbak Bik were waving us. Bu Kus would take care our home.

Our destination was Surabaya. We took this route: Kudus -Rembang - Tuban - Lamongan - Kebomas - Waru. Rahutama was the driver. I was the navigator.

At a public fueling unit before Demak we stopped. Nuri went to the rest room while I and Rahutama filled the fuel tank with Pertamax 92.

At a peanut snack factory in Pati we stopped again. Nuri bought some peanut while I had the second breakfast. I consumed nasi pecel of Rp40.000. It was tasty enough containing vegetables, peanut dressing, fried peanut spread, sweet coconut grating, hot sweet tempe, and a piece of fried chicken. A bottle water was completing. I also had a cup of mocca coffee, a compliment of a coffee producer.

At Bonang we also stopped to capture view of the beach. It was a nice view. Many fishermen boats landed at the kade.

We stuck at Kragan for about 45 minutes. A market crowd hindered us. Selfish drivers made the traffic stuck although then we lose.

At Tuban Prime Mosque we stopped again. We had zuhr and ashr prayers at once. We called it jama qasar.

At Mira resto, Babat we stopped for the last. I had my lunch. I ordered chicken garangasem. It was so hot because of lot of chilli pepper. It was showering.

Eventually, we arrived at the house on Kutisari Indah at 15:00. Overall, the road was good along way. The government served better than some years ago.

Preparing for a Trip

It was Friday. My day was filled to prepared our trip to Bondowoso tomorrow morning for welcoming Eid ul Fitr. In the morning I woke up to know Nuri and Rahutama were having breakfast.

Before noon I and Nuri went to Bank Mandiri, Pemuda to put property to our save deposit box. I updated my bankbook. Then, we went to Lampersari. Nuri bought baby clothes in the same time I realized my prescription at Sarika Pharmacy. Complete, we went home. The traffic was congested. I got off at the Attaqwa Mosque where I joined the Friday Prayer.

At home, Asri and the gang were in. She gave me fish soup. I gave the gang some money for their Eid ul Fitr Festival. Rahutama went to Nasmoco Workshop, Majapahit to get car number plate. On getting home he told us that the plate was on process.

I and Rahutama came to the plate press carver at 16:45. The plate was settled, the carver installed it on the car. Our car number was H9129CY, not a nice number. The cost was Rp60.000 but we paid him Rp75.000.

In the evening I and Nuri went to Bandeng Juwana counter to buy some milk fishes. We would bring it to Bondowoso for a gift. We were also around to get food for our dinner. We failed. Nuri made instant noodle for dinner. After that, we loaded our stuff in the car. I packed our clothes in the suitcase. We were ready to go

Usual Day

It was Thursday. My condition was getting better. I still consumed ondansetron to reduce nuisea. Nuri went to Brumbungan to meet an intended buyer. On arriving at home she brought me nasi bungkus. It was rice, mushroom, and clamp. I suspected the clamp was illegally preserved preboudly.

It was Wednesday. Nuri came at 07:00. She brought me tofu soup for my breakfast. At 12:30 the administration was settled. I was allowed to leave. I and Nuri went back home. Lanjutannya...

Chemo the Day - 3

It was Tuesday. Doctor Eko visited me. Before noon Nuri visited me. She told me she and Mrs. Hidayat and Mrs. Bena just visited Mrs. Prasetyo. She hospitalized for her unconsciousness.

It was Monday. I was still in the cyto room. A doctor visited me. She replaced Doctor Eko. She said he would also visited me later. He did not. A nutrition expert came to ask my appetite condition. She would replace my meal with delicate porridge. Nuri visited me in the morning.
In the evening no one visited me. I suffered from frequent vomiting Lanjutannya...

Chemo the Day - 1

It was Sunday. At 15:00 I went to the cyto room. At 16:00 an infusion was installed, the chemotheraphy session started. I was vomiting many times. I thought my condition was gradually dropped.

Nuri visited me in the morning. She brought me my breakfast. Rahutama came in the afternoon. He brought me lunch. He came again in the evening just to accompany me. Doctor Eko visited me in the afternoon. Lanjutannya...

Checking In the Hospital

It was Saturday. In the morning at 09:30 I and Nuri went to the hospital to check our order. It was lucky, I got the room. After finishing the administration I went to the laboratory to allow taking blood sample. Then, I checking in the room #127. In the afternoon Doctor Eko visited me to control. My condition was ok.

In the afternoon Nuri came to deliver my meal for lunch. In the evening Rahutama came to deliver my dinner.

In the afternoon, I got telephone call from Mr. and Mrs. Djumono. They wanted me to share my experience on dealing with chemotheraphy effect. She was in radiotheraphy. Lanjutannya...

Shopping Pastry

It was Tuesday. Nuri and Rahutama would not be fasting today so they did not have early breakfast. I got up at 03:00 just wanted to watch Yosef episode on TATV.

Before noon I and Nuri went to a pastry maker in Mergojoyo area, down from MT Haryono street. We bought several packages for idul fitri gift for our neighbor. Lanjutannya...

Seeing a Doctor

It was Wednesday. At 12:30 I and Nuri went to the hospital to see Doctor Eko. It was a routine following the chemotheraphy. The registration was going fluently. However, we had to wait for about an hour to meet the doctor. At 15:00 we concluded the business.

In the morning I did not join qigong because I was experiencing diarrhea. Melani asked me for my absence. In the afternoon, on going back home I and Nuri came to a veterinery clinic to by cat food. Then we came to Sri Rejeki street to buy snacks. At that place I met Sugiran.

Feeling Ill

It was Tuesday. In the morrning I went to the temple to join qigong. The participants were only 6 people. I had a stomach problem so in the mid of the session I stopped and I went home.

At 08:30 Rahutama took the car to the workshop. It was the first service, the 1000 kilometer service. The kilometer record was around 900.

In the evening I and Nuri went to Bakmi Naga stall to have second dinner. We spent Rp108.000 for 3 portion of chicken mushroom noddle and a glass of orange water.

Joining a Meeting

It was Monday. I joined the DSDAP meeting in the Wadaslintang Room. I would be joined a tim supporting the organizing of DSDAP Central Java Meeting. Today the Governor installed the DSDAP Central Java. There were 31 members, the Governor was the chairperson, he was also a member. At 11:00 the installation concluded. Then, the First Meeting was opened.

The meeting was chaired by the Water Resources Agency Chief. It discussed 4 matters: Job clarification, Code of Conduct, Work Plan and Water Resources Program. The meeting succed to agree all matters. It concluded at 12:00.

There were several people I met, such as: Mr. Suhartono, Mr. Edy Wahono, Mr. Agus, and Mr. Eko. Only Mr. Suhartono was the member of the DSDAP Central Java.

This morning I joined qigong. Only 6 people gathered in the arena. I joined chenqi, laqi, and pengqi guanding. I left the last session, sanxin zhuang.

In the evening I enjoyed my new recipe, chicken curry. Nuri made it. At 20:45 Asri and the gang came home.

Dining Out

It was Sunday. In the morning I woke up at 03:00 and accompanied Nuri and Rahutama having early breakfast. I consumed corn mushroom soup. At 11:00 I had breakfast a dining stall on Jalan Suyudono. Nuri accompanied me.

In the afternoon I drew money from an ATM and put some for Attaqwa Mosque Takjil.

This day the weather was cloudy and light showering. It was heavier in the evening for a short time.

Recovering Appetite

It was Saturday. My appetite had not recovered yet. In the morning I got last night dishes for my breakfast. In the afternoon Nuri made me corn soup, my appetite increased slightly. In the evening we had fried small fish, fried tempe and water spinach stir fry for our dinner. It was good dinner.

This day I finished my papers for being presented in the Dewan SDA Meeting. The meeting would be organized on Monday, July 14. There was still a paper left. I would settled it tomorrow.

Checking Out

It was Friday. After settling the administration I was allowed to check out from the hospital. Nuri paid off Rp46.000 of the invoice. It was just the rest because the big part was paid by BPJS Kesehatan. At 12:00 I and Nuri leaving the hospital.

In the morning Nuri came to bring me my breakfast. It was rice and soup. I only consumed the soup. It was tofu soup. Then, we waited for the administration. It was under process.

This day I did not join the Friday prayer nor regular prayer. My condition made me hard to concentrate.

Chemo the Day - 3

It was Thursday. In the morning a lady doctor came to check my condition. Several hours later Doctor Eko also came to do the same.

Nuri came to visit me in the morning. She rubed my back. She also clean my face.

At 22:00 the chemo session completed. I was transferred to room #122 Garuda Building. Rahutama was there. He brought me tofu soup.

It was Wednesday. I was still at the room #6 Cendrawasih Building. Nuri visited me in the morning. She brought me steamed cassava. In the evening Rahutama visited me. He just accompanied me for a while. After he left, I got severe vomiting.

There was no doctor visited me this day.

Chemo the Day - 1

It was Tuesday. Finally, the room was available. At 13:00 I was transfered to the Cendrawasih Room #7. I had lunch before an infusion was installed. Rahutama brought me a meal. A doctor  my body condition. She said my lung and heart were ok. At 15:00 the infusion was installed.

In the morning Rahutama came to bring me a meal. It was rice, peppered eggplant and fried corn paste. Nuri came in the evening. She accompanied me till 21:00.

Still in Waiting

It was Monday. I was still in the hospital waiting for a cyto room. The nurse said one of the medication had not been available but in the afternoon it came. I thought the room was available in the evening but my hope was void.

In the morning Nuri brought me my meal, Rahutama came to bring me meals in the afternoon and evening.

Being in the Hospital

It was Sunday. I was still in the hospital. Nuri visited me twice, in the morning and afternoon. Doctor Eko also visited me in the morning. He said he had had leave yesterday so he had not written the prescription. He hoped the medicines were available today.

Checking in the Hospital

It was Saturday. After waiting for about 2 hour I eventually got a room. So, after signing the papers I checked in the Garuda Pavillion Kariadi room #122. Before entering the room a blood sample was taken in the laboratory.

This morning Nuri bought pecel for my breakfast. A preparation was conducted to check in the hospital. At 10:30 I and Nuri went to the Kariadi Hospital to check our order. The clerk said there had not been a room available for me. We were suggested to come again at 15:00.

In the evening Rahutama came to deliver my dinner. It was rice, fried tempe and sour vegetable soup. Lanjutannya...

Seeing the Doctor

It was Friday. Accompanied by Rahutama, after maghrib time I went to Doctor Sumanto on Lampersari. There was no queuing so I directly got my turn to meet the doctor. He suggested me to suct the liquid in the nodules. It would be done after chemo session.

In the morning I joined qigong. The participants were only 9 people. I did it completely.

Being at Home

It was Thursday. I was relaxing my body and soul. I did not do anything. My breakfast was just mushroom stir fry and fried wrapped egg. They were I had when I had my lunch.

Nuri went to Superindo to shop several items. Bu Jakahir came to hand my new shirts. Mr. Jakahir is a tailor and I have been his client since around 2000. Mr. Djarwono came to hand invitations for presidential toll. Lanjutannya...

Joining Qigong

It was Wednesday. In the morning I joined qigong in the temple. The participants were 11 people. We practiced chenqi, laqi, pengqi guanding and sanxin zhuang.

Before noon Nuri went to Brumbungan to meet an intended purchaser. She also came to Ada Supermarket for shopping.

After maghrib time I and Rahutama went to Monika Studio to see Alpha 6000 but the stuff had been sold out. We then went to Citra Bundo Bangkong to buy nasipadang. The resto was under renovation so we went to Candi. Lanjutannya...

Joining a Meeting

It was Tuesday. At 08:45 I went to the office to join a meeting. The meeting was in the Dharma Wanita Room, started at 09:40 chaired by Mr. Bena. The participants were Mr. Suhartono and Dedy in the beginning but then, one by one, Sucipto, Sugeng and Ms. Nita came to join. It discussed code of conduct, minute meeting and memory. The meeting concluded at about 14:00.

Amid of the meeting we got a break for praying. I joined a congressional prayer in the most. Preaching was delivered after praying by Ustadz Syaifuddin.

On the way home I stopped by BNI Bank Karangayu to take my new ATM card. It was too long to wait although only 2 people before me.

In the afternoon Mr. Hidayat came home to ask my signature. There was a minor correction on the document I had signed several days ago so I had to repeat.
