Being at Home

It is Saturday. Yellow Saturday (Sabtu Pon). I was still at home all day. In the morning I did my weekly ritual, washing. The day was promising so before dhuhur time they were dry. I ironed them in the afternoon. In between, I made up the hydrologic report. It was needed to complete the engineering recommendation.

Gathering

It is Friday. Red Friday (Jumat Pahing). In the morning I joined qigong in the temple hall. The participants were 8 people. We practiced chenqi, pengqi guanding, and first half of xingshen zhuang.

At 12:00 I joined Friday Prayer in Masjid Attaqwa. The day was so clear and hot. I walked there and back home.

At 15:30 I went to Strada Coffee to have americano. Zaenal and Pranoto then joined me. Suprapto had told to join but he did not show up. The shop was full of customers but we still got seats.

In the evening at 19:15 I and Nuri joined a wedding party in Masjid Agung Convention Hall. It was managed by Naro to celebrate the marriage of his son, Adhitya Mahardhika. Seeing a Dentist

It is Thursday. Sweet Thursday (Kamis Legi). In the morning I was still at home while Nuri went to kecamatan office to get her new identity. The old one was defect on her picture. She applied the new one but she just got a temporary identity sheet.

I planned to go to Plaza Simpanglima to get a smartphone cover but then I cancelled it because Anindya would buy it for me. Instead, I spent my time to copy precipitation data I had downloaded yesterday to excel. It was just bit tricky.

In the evening after maghrib time I accompanied by Nuri went to see the dentist. About a half hour my tooth was fixed. On the way home I took the bus ticket from Nusantara bus pool. Lanjutannya...

Going Back to Semarang

It is Wednesday. Loving Wednesday (Rabu Kliwon). I woke up at 04:30. At 05:00 I was ready to go.

My flight was Lion Air JT625 scheduled to depart at 06:40. A Gojek car brought me to the airport. My seat was 31C. I had a time to had breakfast in the airport. Kulineri Cafe served me with chicken soto soup.

At 05:50 we heard announcing for boarding. The plane was about 80% filled. At 06:40 Lion Air Boeing 737-800NG took off for Semarang. At 07:10 landed at Ahmad Yani Airport of Semarang. It was 30 minutes before schedule.

Nuri fetched me up. I slept after being at home. I was so exhausted.

At 13:00 I and Nuri went to Bank BNI and Bank Mandiri on Jalan Pamularsih to print the bankbooks. Then, we went to d'Lodeh for having lunch.

At 20:00 I and Nuri went to DP mall to meet Anindya, Dastan, and Aisha. They had good time in Timezone section. I dined there. Lanjutannya...

Going to Samarinda

It is Tuesday. Black Tuesday (Selasa Wage). We had breakfast in the hotel. At 08:00 (local time) Anto the driver picked us up) with Mitsubishi Triton. We went to BMKG office to buy precipitation data. The lady there told us that we could accessed it freely from their website. We suggested us to register first.

At 11:00 local time we arrived at Management office of Kalimantan III Water Resources. We made discussion with the licencing officer, Rustiani about additional documents for engineering recommendation. She gave us example documents from another office.

At 12:00 we left the office. We prayed in Masjid Darussalam and had lunch in a stall nearby. Lanjutannya...

Going to Balikpapan

It is Monday. Yellow Monday (Senin Pon). At 10:00 I had breakfast in Warung Tegal Satuhati. At 10:15 I arrived at the office. Anwar, Priyonggo, and Utayanto were in. Benny and Atina came later.

In the office I still worked on hydrology. I also directed Ii making maps. At 15:00 I and Benny met Dany Hardja in Surabaya Resto nearby for social chats. At 16:00 I went back to the guesthousefor showering and packing my clothes.

At 17:15 I and Priyonggo went to Halim Perdanakusuma Airport. We would go to Balikpapan. Our flight was Batik Air ID7205. In the airport before checking in we had late lunch in Bakso Lapangan Tembak counter.

After checking in we did prayer in the musala. At 18:50 we got a call for boarding. It was 20 minutes earlier. My seat was 5B but I changed with Priyonggo's to 5A.

Going to Jakarta

It is Sunday. Red Sunday (Ahad Pahing). In the morning I continued working in hydrology analysis. I did it till 15:00. Nuri made me asem² dish for my breakfast.

At 15:30 I went to Tawang Station. Nuri accompanied me. We stopped by at Bandeng Juwono shop to buy bandeng and wingko for food souveniers. At 16:20 I got off at Tawang Station.

My train was Argo Sindoro Tambahan scheduled to depart at 16:50. I would be on coach 5 seat 8B. At 16:25 I was on board.

The train departed on time. As usual the train stopped by at Pekalongan, Tegal, and Cirebon. At 22:50 I got off at Jatinegara Station. I stopped by at Sinar Minang Resto 🍴 for dining. A Gojek car then brought me to the office. I arrived there at 23:50 Lanjutannya...

Going to Boyolali

It is Saturday. Sweet Saturday (Sabtu Legi). I did my weekly ritual, washing the clothes. Amid washing Risna sent a message, she would come to put dates.

At 10:00 I and Nuri went to Boyolali to buy fried ground beef. Nuri would it as a food souvenier for her schoolmates. We got it at Elang shop, Ampel.

At about 13:00 we had lunch Lawuh Desa Resto. We tasted various kinds of traditional Javanese dishes. We spent about Rp35.000.

Joining Qigong

It is Friday. Loving Friday (Jumat Kliwon). In the morning at 06:00 I joined qigong in the temple hall. The participants were just 7 people. We practiced chenqi, pengqi guanding, dan first half of xingshen zhuang.

At 10:00 by a Gojek bike I went to Poncol Station to buy a ticket, Sunday afternoon destination Jakarta Gambir. I got coach 5 seat 8B. By a Gojek bike again I went back home.

In the afternoon I and Nuri walked along Jalan Bojongsalaman to find Semarang Street Festival. Various coffees and snacks were offered there. I tasted V60 coffee, sweet carabikang, and chickened tofu. We also bought 2 pieces of pizza. Lanjutannya...

Going Back to Semarang

It is Thursday. Black Thursday (Kamis Wage). At 03:45 I left the guesthouse for Gambir Station. A Gojek bike got me at PGC1 stop. A busway bus brought me to Senin Sentral stop. Finally, another bus brought me to Gambir1 stop. I arrived at the station at 05:20. After printing the boarding pass I prayed in the musala upfloor. Then, I had breakfast at Bakmi 🍜 Gajahmada counter. I met S. Sarwanto in the lobby. He and his colleagues would go to Semarang, too. I was on board at 06:30. I was in coach 6 seat 12B.

My train, Argo Muria, departed on time at 07:00. We stopped by at Cirebon, Brebes, Tegal, and Pekalongan at 9:51, 11:02, 11:16, and 12:02. I arrived at Tawang Station at 13:10. Nuri fetched me. At 13:39 I arrived at home.

Nuri provided a fish - rice dish for my lunch. I made french pressed coffee to close my lunch. I slept in the afternoon for recovering. The day was hot and dry.

It is Wednesday. Yellow Wednesday (Rabu Pon). In the morning at 04:15 I arrived at Kampung Rambutan Terminal. A Gojek bike then got me at the guesthouse at 04:40. I slept after praying and showering.

At 09:15 I had breakfast at Warung Tegal Satuhati. I arrived at the office at 09:30. Benny, Anwar, Priyonggo, and Atina came later. At 15:30 I and Nuri went to the airport to pick up Anindya and the gangs. They just landed from Mataram, Lombok. About 5 days they had holiday and visited Bagus. Aishalina looked very happy.

Joining Qigong

It is Monday. Sweet Monday (Senin Legi). In the morning I joined qigong in the temple hall. The participants were about 12 people. We practiced chenqi, laqi (shou 授 la 拉), pengqi guanding, and sanxin zhuang. After session we had social chat.

After dhuhur time I contacted Sucipto and Azwar Annas of Hydrology Section of Water Resources Management Affair to enquire hydrology guidelines. Then I went to the office to see Annas. I got a hydrology manual from him.

On the way home I stopped by at Nusantara Bus pool to buy a ticket for Jakarta tomorrow. I got it at Rp190.000.

After maghrib time I went to a dentist on Jalan Maluku. Nuri accompanied me. I need to see Dr. Winarto the dentist because I felt painful in my gum. He replaced the filler in a tooth and started to refill. He gave me a prescription. I bought it (consisted of 10 caps of Amoxsan 500mg and 6tabs of Kaflam 50mg) at Sarika Pharmacy. Going Out

It is Saturday. Black Saturday (Sabtu Wage). In the morning I performed my weekly, washing my clothes. The day was promising so it was dry before dhuhur time.

After dhuhur time I and Nuri went out to settle some matters. We went to Nusantara Bus Pool to take the ticket but the employee told that my ticket had been cancelled. Because I still hesitated to go at that ticket time I saw it as just right occurence. We then when to Poncol Station to buy tickets for Nuri going to Surabaya in September. The sales lady told us that to get a 20% discount a senior should register him/herself to the customer service. So, we went there an employee registered us. Going to Salaman

It is Friday. Yellow Friday (Jumat Pon). At 06:20 I dan Nuri left the house to go to Salaman. As usual we used toll road entering at Manyaran and exiting at Bawen. We stopped by at Rest Area 429 for fueling and peeing. We found a traffic jam at about 10km after Ambarawa. There was a road construction to wide the road. We stopped by again at Bu Atmo's warung for having breakfast. At about 10:00 we arrived at the family house, Salaman. Lik Santo, Bulik War, Peni, and Mahardi were there. Lik Santo was just home last night after hospitalizing for operation. As usual we chatted about family business.

At 11:30 I and Mahardi went to Adi's house. We met him and Dita. We ordered a V60 coffee to him. At 12:00 we went to Masjid Asshofi for joining Friday Prayer. At 13:00 we were in the house again enjoying coffee. At 14:00 Nuri came to ask leaving.

After having permission from Bulik War and Lik Santo, we went back home. It was 14:30. We stopped by at Lezat shop for shopping various snacks. We stopped by again at Tahu Pojok counter for having lunch. Finally, at 18:00 we arrived at home.

At 05:00 I got up for praying. I also prepared myself to go. At 07:00 I and Nuri went to Anindya's house to picked Anindya and the gang up. We brought dan dropped them at the airport. It is Wednesday. I had breakfast at Warung Tegal Satuhati. At 09:15 I arrived at the office. Basa, Faras, and Nenni came later. Priyonggo came at about 10:30. They went to Bina Marga. Atina and Anwar were absent.

At 13:00 I went to Plaza Lippo in Kramatjati area. In a Samsung counter I bought a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 at Rp11.499.000. I paid Rp5.499.000 in cash and the remaining were credited for 12 months. After completing the transaction I had lunch Mister Baso, still in the plaza. I found the dish was good. Then, I went back to the office.

I arrived at 15:00 at the office. I just there for a while to direct Iik. Then, I went back to the guesthouse.

It is Sunday. Yellow Sunday (Ahad Pon). In the morning I went to Masjid Attaqwa to joined Eid Prayer. It was Eid ul Adha.

At 19:20 dropped me at the Nusantara Bus pool. I would go to Jakarta. My bus was NS 25. I would be on seat 11. At 19:45 the bus departed for Jakarta. I found Agus Surawan was also in the same bus.

I got up at 11:00. I then continued with my weekly ritual, washing. I then slept again after having lunch. The day was promising so in the afternoon they were dry.

Going Back to Semarang

It is Friday. Sweet Friday (Jumat Legi). In the morning I had breakfast at Warung Tegal Satuhati. I arrived at the office at 09:45. There were Basa, Faraz, and Nenni in the office. Priyonggo and Anwar and Utayanto came later. We were busy to prepare the closing statement.

At 12:00 I joined Friday prayer at Masjid Baiturrahim. Utayanto gave me and Priyonggo a ride.

At 16:00 I and Priyonggo had coffee at Dunkin Donut Tamini Square. Before being there we came to Green Terrace to seek the counter but it was not there. My diet consisted of 2 cups of americano coffee and 4 pieces of doughnut. We then went back again to the office before maghrib time.

At 19:30 I left the office for Gambir Station. I used Gojek bike to get to PGC1 stop, a busway bus to Pal Putih stop, a busway bus to Senen Sentral, and finally a busway bus to Gambir1 stop. I got at the station at 21:00.

Being in the Office

It is Thursday. Loving Thursday (Kamis Kliwon). It is my birthday. Today I am 64 years old. There was no special event like a party or something to celebrate. I was just in the office all day long and received wishes from colleagues and friends by Whatsapp messanger.

At 09:30 I arrived at the office. I had a cup of coffee to complete my banana breakfast at the guesthouse. Nenni JBS was there but then went to Bina Marga. Priyonggo, Anwar, and Atina came later. A Wika officer then came. I worked to compose a survey report.

Being in the Office

It is Wednesday. Black Wednesday (Rabu Wage). At 04:58 I arrived at Gambir Station. After praying I got in a bus going to Harmoni stop. Another bus brought me to PGC1 stop. The third bus got me at Kampung Rambutan Terminal. A Gojek bike finally brought me to the guesthouse at 07:14.

At 07:45 I had breakfast at Warung Tegal Satuhati. On the way back to the guesthouse I took my clothes from the laundry shop.

I left the guesthouse at 09:15 and arrived there at 09:30. Priyonggo, Anwar, Atina, Nenni (PT JBS), and Danu (PT JBS) came later. In the whole day I composed Design Criteria.

Going to Jakarta

It is Tuesday. Yellow Tuesday (Selasa Pon). In the morning I ironed my clothes. After having breakfast I went to go out for banking matters. I went to Mandiri Bank Pemuda by a Gojek bike for printing my bookbank. Then, I walked across the street to BCA Bank to do the same. I walked again to Bank Jateng Pemuda to withdraw my pension salary. I met Pangestu there, he did the same. Before leaving I asked for an ATM card. At about 13:00 I left the bank. I walked again to BNI Bank Pemuda to put the salary pension and at once printed the bankbook.

By a Gojek bike I went to Warung Senggol Bu Lin on Jalan Damarwulan. I had lunch there. Finally, by a Gojek bike I went back home. Ratna and Linda was leaving when I arrived at home.

In the afternoon I had an afternoon sleep. It was good to recover my body from tiredness.

After maghrib praying I went to Poncol Station to get a ticket for Jakarta. I had it at Rp284.000. I got coach 4 seat 6C. At 20:00 I went to Anindya's house to pass Chinese customs for Ailin and Dastan.

It is Monday. Red Monday (Senin Pahing). At 00:45 I exited from Immigration check point. I and Tri waited for the morning at the first floor. At 03:00 left the place for his house. The public transportation had been ready. I went to the masalah on second floor and slept.

At 05:00 sky train

JT504 scheduled to depart at 08:00. took off at 08:45. landed at 09:40. Trans Semarang. I arrived at home at 10:45, Nuri was not in when I arrived at home.

Going to Haikou

It is Sunday. The Sweet Sunday (Ahad Legi). After having breakfast we went to Haikou (海口) at 09:15 local time. The day was clear. It seemed that the Wipha Cyclone tail had been dissapearing.

At 11:15 we stopped by at place named Yiran Coffee Shop (怡然咖啡驿店）for getting toilets. The shop is like a village showcase where people sell their farming products. On the way to the toilet I tasted a mango offered by a vendor. It was sweet, very sweet. I thought China had a good progress on farming technology.

At 11:49 we stopped by for having lunch in a resto named Jiajiya (嘉积鸭). We were in 5 tables of 8 people. The resto served good dishes.

We then went to Movie Town. We arrived there at 13:30. On the gate there was a write 观澜湖 华谊 冯小刚 电影公社 (Guanlan Hu Huayi Fengxiaogang Dianying Gongshe) Movie Town Haikou. On the way to the setting building we found a walkway with palmprints of movie stars. The building was back to the year of thirties. We made some pictures there.

Our next destination was a jade shop. They offered lots variety of jades. An employee, in Bahasa Indonesia, explained that the best jade in the world came from Myanmar, then from Thailand. They import from those places. They also sell item from China. Suddenly, someone came to us, he pretended as the boss. All of the employees respected him. He spoke in Bahasa Indonesia. He impressed himself as if his ancestors were close to Indonesia. He asked an employee to give a souvenir each to us. He then showed his jade collections. He would give special prices to us. Some of us were persuaded, They madly bought some items.

Our last destination was a resto at Qiongshan Haikou for dining at 18:27. They also served good dishes.

On the way to the airport Risna found that her jade was defect. She wanted to go back to the jade shop. The bus then went there and dropped her. We continued to go to the airport. When we unloaded the baggages from the bus Risna joined us again. We then underwent the custom and immigration check. Our flight was SJ3123. At 20:20 we boarded. Going to Nanshan Cultural Tourist Zone

It is Saturday. Loving Saturday (Sabtu Kliwon). After having breakfast at 08:30 we went to Celestial Rabber Shop. There were many rubber based products introduced and offer to us. The employee told they were Japanese technology. He also showed that a natural latex product was different with that of full latex. It was more comfortable. I tried to lay on a natural latex bed and I found it was comfortable.

We then went to Dadong Beach to see the scene nearby. It was about 10 minutes by bus. There were many Russian travellers enjoying the beach. I was not so interested. I and Tri went to a restaurant we would go for lunch. We just sat on the lobby. At about an hour we had lunch.

The next visit was to a fish oil shop. The employee told the shop produced and sold the best to omega 3 fish oil in the world . They used a Canadian technology to get the oil from catching the fish till packing the oil. The fish originated from the sea around Canada and less contaminant.

At 15:00 we arrived at Nanshan Cultural Zone (南山大小洞天旅游区). It was a park of 500Ha with a Guanyin statue was the main point of interest. With car-train of CNY30 each passanger we came to a wide plaza where we could see the statue clearly. It was 128m high located to the south crossing the sea. I and Tri made some pictures of statue background. After having rest we on the moving train saw the Buddha temple area.

At about 17:00 went back to the hotel. On the way we stopped by at a restaurant to dine. I still tasted the dishes.

After having rest for a while I and Tri Heryanto walked to a Xinjiang restaurant (新疆穆斯林餐厅). We found a railway construction site on the way there. We did not find the resto since the place was fenced by the construction party. So, we went back to the hotel. About 50 meter before the hotel we found a halal shabu resto (清真火锅). Visiting Around

It is Friday. Black Friday (Jumat Wage). After having breakfast. At 08:00 we were ready in the lobby ready to go. A moment later the bus brought us to Bamboo 100 (竹一百）on Yuxiu Road. It was also known as Bamboo Charcoal. We arrived there at 08.40. The shop offers various products made of bamboo such as clothes, activated carbon, and carbon based products. I bought a pair of socks.

We then went to Hua Bao Restaurant on Yingzhou Road to have lunch. We arrived there at 11:26. It was the same place we had dined yesterday.

I did not join Friday prayer during tour because there was no session close to the place. The closest masjid where session was managed was in Sanya City.

At about 13:30 we were in a place named Yetian Ancient Village (椰田古寨) at about Longmen Subdistrict. It is a place to show the Li and Miao etnics minority culture. We were showed by their song and silver craft. In this venue we got showering. I then in a hurry came in a house like Dayak lamin equipped with air conditioner.

At 15:45 we arrived at Luhuitou Park （鹿回头公园). It was heavy raining but then stopped. The park was a hilly area of more than 100Ha. On the peak there was a statue of a deer turning his head. To get there a shuttle car brought us to a point just before the peak. We may see the scene of Sanya Beach from the point. I did not continue to reach the peak because I worried about raining. So did Kanti and Bibit.

The next visit was Dadong Bay (大东湾) that close to the park. We arrived there at 16:45. I got off to the beach but some of us still in the bus. I and Tri Heryanto made several pictures of the beach.

We then went back to the hotel for dining. We had it on third floor. It seemed that second floor was for breakfast while third floor was for dinner.

At 20:00 I, Tri Heryanto, Indari, Henni, and Risna went to a mall named Mingzhu Guangchang (明珠广场). We found that on the basement there was a supermarket providing snacks like sold by Aiguo. We found his price was quite expensive. Lanjutannya...

Going to Sanya

It is Thursday. Yellow-7 Thursday-8 (Kamis Pon 15). Along the night to morning I found that the wind was so strong. It was tropical cyclone Wipha passing. In the morning we still in the hotel because it was showering.

We then check out of the hotel though it was still showering. We went to the Oldtown of Haikou at Datong (大同) Residential District. On the way some of the baggages dropped form the compartement. We stopped there for a while to pick up them. On the way the road was covered by water as effect of the tropical cyclone Wipha. We arrived there at 10:00. We made some selfie pictures in a limited area since the other was covered by water.

We went to Baoshutang (寳树堂) Shop and got there at 11:48. The chinese traditional medicine shop located on the basement of Sheraton Hotel. We were served with feet massage mechanically. Then, some of us were pleased to consult to Chinese traditional doctors. They actually wanted to sell their medicines. They told us that we were going to be unhealthy and needed their medicines. They were so expensive. I refused to buy.

At 13:54 we had lunch in Traditional Fishermen Village (好百年渔民新村). We were not served with seafood but the dishes were tasty.

We then went to Desa Bali (巴厘村）in Xinglong (兴隆）area. Desa Bali is a tag name of a South Asia Village. The village is dwelled by overseas chinese (huaqiao 华侨) that once lived in Southeast Asia and at the years around 1960 they were back to China. They maintained the culture they got from the origin countries. The government then sell their habit as a tourism commodity. In that place I met a man named Ambar. He was sent by the Government of Indonesia to help the Government of China to develop the tourism spot.

At 19:25 we arrive at a resto close to Lingshui for dinner. The resto was spacious. We served with good dishes.

We then went to pedestrian street where a night market was located. To get there we were charged CNYuan60 by the tour leader. We arrived there at about 20:00. The market located close to the intersection of Xinfeng Street (新风街) and Jiefang Road (解放路). Various items were offered there. I bought some, one of them was a traditional cloth for Ailin. I, Tri Heryanto, Risna, and Indari also shared to taste a portion of seafood fried rice. It was tasty. At about 21:00 we continued to go to the hotel.

We were overnight in Guoxi Hotel (果喜大酒店, Sanya. I and Tri Heryanto again shared a room, room 821. The room was nice. Town of Sanya (三亚市) is the second biggest town in the Hainan Province (海南省) after Haikou ((海口市) Lanjutannya...
