Meeting

It was Tuesday. Fasting was sill on goibg. I had boiled egg and long bean dish for my breakfast. I was still ready after having it. At 08:00 I went to the Management Office to join the meeting to discuss inception report. The meeting started at 08:30. Mrs. Jeanny led it. Mr. Herryan openEd the consultant's presentation then I continued it. The meeting was going fluently. The participants were from Brebes Regency Government, Central Java Warer Resources Authority, Solo River Research Institute, and the Management Office. I concluded at 11:30. I was home afterward. Meeting with the Owner

It was Monday. I and Nuri still maintained our fasting. We got up early in the morning, had breakfast, prayed, and slept again.

At 09:30 I went to the hydro lab to joined the team on finishing the inception report. In the afternoon we met Mr. Heriyan and Mr. Endang. Mr. Heriyan was the owner of the corporate which were assigned to undertake the work.

At 04:30 I had afternoon walk through Kaligarang bridge, Bojongsalaman, and Pamularsih Barat VIII streets.

Anindya Going to Jakarta

It was Sunday. The Ramadan fasting was still on going. I and Nuri had our early breakfast although we felt stuffed.

In the morning Anindya and Dastan came. They were accompanied by Mrs. Djoni. The, Ratna and Ninok came to have social chat with Nuri. Anindya and Dastan were on for a while since they had to go to Jakarta at 13:00.

At 12:00 I and Nuri dropped them at the airport. A Citilink flight scheduled to depart at 13:00 would bring them to Jakarta.

In the evening I and Nuri went to Simpanglima to buy pecel from Yu Sri stall. We had it for our dinner.

Dinner Out

It was Saturday. We still underwent our fasting. Before zuhr time accompanied Nuri to go to ACE Hardware, then to the Pramuka Honey counter in Pleburan. On arriving at home Mbak Bik told us that Anindya came. She was with Dastan and Bagus.

After zuhr praying I went to the laboratory. I met Pranoto and the gang. A brief discussion emerged. At about 14:00 the power shutdown. I went home at 15:00. On arriving at home Nuri told me that Mrs. Djoni invited us to have breaking fasting in the Gumaya Hotel.

At 17:00 we went there. In the dining room we broke our fasting. We met Mrs. Djoni, Anindya, Bagus, Dastan, Om Beni, Dimas, Silpa, and a notary apprentice. The hotel provided very rich variety of good dishes. I ate many dishes without hard carbohydrate. A little smashed potato was consumed as the mere carbohydrate.

At 09:30 I joined the neighborhood meeting in Bowo's house. We discussed the celebration of 2016 proclamation commemoration. I drew the pot. It was Rp55:000. Three people did not put their share.

Being in the Office

It was Friday. I and Nuri still continued our fasting. The early morning ritual was still undertaken.

At 08:30 I went to the laboratory to joined the gang finishing the inception report. At zuhr time I joined the Friday Congressional Prayer in the Masjid Undip. I went there together with Mr. Pranoto, Mr. Suharyanto, and Mr. Hari. At 15:00 I and Pranoto went to the Pemali Juana Management Office to see Mrs. Rantika and Mr. Didit. After a brief discussion we dismissed. I went home.

I was full after having breaking fasting and dinner. I went to bed early.

Dinner Out

It was Thursday. In the evening at 19:00 I and Nuri went out to have dinner. We chose to get into the Paris va Java Resto, a Resto on Jalan Singasari. The place was cozy. The dishes were fair. We ordered fried rice, baby kailan stir fry, and spring rolls. The waiters served us fairly. I spent Rp81.000.

In the morning we still run our ritual. I just consumed chicken pepes and eggplant curry. No carbohydrate.

At noon I browse the LPSE site again and fortunately, I successfully downloaded the tender document.

In the afternoon before breaking my fasting I made afternoon walk. I walked through Purpawarno Raya, Sudirman, an Bojongsalaman streets.

In the evening after having dinner I printed the tender document. I printed also the guidelines on composing economic report. I spent Rp86.000 in a printing kiosk on Jalan Hayamwuruk.

Being at Home

It was Wednesday. Daily ritual was still underway. Getting up in the morning, having early breakfast, dawn praying and sleeping again. I still retained to consume fruit, then protein and vegetables in my breakfast. It was good for good feeling in the morning after getting up.

At noon I browsed the LPSE site to watch the announcement. There was a job vacant for a water resources expert. I registered through the site. However, I failed to download the tender document.

This day actually I want to go to the lab to see the progress on the inception report composing. However, because Pranoto was out (going to Brebes) I thought my presence would not be productive. Lanjutannya...

Being in the Office

It was Tuesday. In the morning I and Nuri had our breakfast. My menu was steamed broccoli and tuna curry.

At 09:00 I went to the lab. Pranoto was going to Brebes accompanied gentlemen from Water Resources Research Institute. Ms. Wati gave me a sample of an inception report.
After having ashr prayer I went home.

Being in the Office

It was Monday. I was still fasting. In the morning I, Nuri, and Rahutama had our early breakfast. As usual I did not eat rice. Eggplant and curry fish was my menu.

At 09:00 I went to Undip, Hydro Lab. I joined the discussion on the Inception Report. The members were Mr. Wati, Mr. Pranoto, Mr. Hari. I left the lab at 16:00.

Walking

It was Sunday. In the morning I and Nuri had our early breakfast. As usual my breakfast was just egg and soup. Rahutama was not with us. He was ill and decided not to be fasting.

After sleeping I and Nuri went to Sehat Pharmacy to get my medicines based on Doctor Sumanto prescription.

In the afternoon I made afternoon walk along the west floodway. I took several pictures of the site.

Being at Home

It was Saturday. The early breakfast was going as usual. After dawn prayer I slept again.

This day I was still at home. Nuri went to Superindo to seek tempe but she just got 2 small pieces. We broke our fasting with those stuffs.

I wiped and mopped the floor during she was out. I felt satisfactory when I saw the result, clean floor.

Seeing a Dentist

It was Friday. In the morning we in three had early breakfast. I ate salak and banana. After 30 minutes garangasem and steamed japanese pumpkin were on my menu.

At zuhr time I joined the Friday prayer at Masjid Attaqwa. Rahutama, Abdurrahman, Ahmad, and Zulkarnain did the same.

We broke our fasting at 17:33. After that Rahutama accompanied me to see Doctor Winarto, the dentist. My tooth was fixed. It costed Rp200.000.

Going to Surakarta

It was Thursday. It was the first day of Ramadan 1436H. At 02:30 we got up to have our early breakfast. My menu was a banana, a salak, an egg, and steamed broccoli. It was my first mandatory fasting after 2 years.

At 07:30 I, Nuri, and Asri went to Surakarta. The traffic was flowing so at 10:00 we arrived at the destination, BTC (Beteng Trade Center) where batik and fabric were sold. Rahutama then was joining us. He came there from Jogja by Prameks Coaches. He dropped off at the Purwosari station and continued to go to BTC by bus. I just sat at a place close to the entrance waiting for them shopping. At 14:00 we left the place.

We then visited 2 places, Mesran Store on Kalilarangan Alley and Sri Semar in Singapuran Kartasura. We bought several snacks in the first place and dishes named garangasem in the second one. Garangasem is a kind of steamed dish made from chicken or its organ, wrapped by banana leaf. Shallots, garlic, chilly peppers, etc is added into.

At 17:00 we arrived at the Kampung Kopi Banaran where we broke our fasting. Maghrib time was 17:36. At about 19:00 we arrived at home.

Seeing Doctors

It was Wednesday. I saw two doctors today, Doctor Suharti and Doctor Sumanto. I saw the first in the Garuda Clinic, Kariadi Hospital. Yesterday Nuri had had a number from the customer service. This morning she came directly to the desk, got the number, drew a piece of paper, came to the registration. I got number 4 to see the doctor. At 11:15 I saw the doctor, and at 12:15 I got the medicine. Done.

At 20:00 I went to see Doctor Sumanto. Nuri accompanied me. I directly got my turn. At 21:30 we were home.

There were two other things I had done. In the morning I made morning walk for 50 minutes. The route was Puspagiwang, Sudirman, and Bojongsalaman. It was enjoyable.

The second was taking the notebook. My Acer notebook had been fixed by the Acer service center. I took it home at 13:00 after seeing the doctor. On the way I and Nuri bought nasi bungkus from a warung tegal. It was tasty.

Anindya Going to Jakarta

It was Tuesday. Anindya, Dastan, and Bibik left Semarang at 13:40 from the Ahmad Yani Airport. I and Nuri accompanied them to the airport twice. The first, we came there for checking in. We went back home because the flight was postponed for 40 minutes. The second, Nuri dropped me in the Water Authority office and continued to brought them to the airport.

In morning I made morning walk for 45 minutes tracing the Kaligarang perimeter. When I was getting rest at home, Mr. and Mrs. Djoni came to meet Anindya.

At 14:00 I joined a meeting in the water authority office. It was attended by Mr. Lukito, Pranoto, Sunarko, Heri, and Basuki. We discussed the design of the Pedes and Glagah rivers repairing.

In the evening I and Nuri had dinner at the Bakso LT counter in the Citraland.

Seeing a Dentist

It was Monday. In the evening I accompanied by Nuri went to see Doctor Winarto on Jalan Maluku. A patient was in front of me, so, not quite long my turn came. I came to the doctor because my gum was painful. I thought because my tooth was going to defect. He told me that my teeth were still good though one of them tended to deteriorate. He fixed up the tooth and asked me to come again on Thursday. I spent Rp140:000.

In the morning I joined Qigong in the temple hall. The participants were 15 people. I practiced chenqi, laqi, and pengqi guanding. I left the venue when the others were practicing short xingshen zhuang.

At 09:30 I went to the BBWSPJ office to meet Mr. Hidayat then together to see Mr. Hari, the subproject manager. We were successful to meet and talk with him. The point was that I could work with the job, instead, Mr. Hidayat would replace me. Settling with the office I went to the Undip Hydro Lab.

In the lab I just met Pranoto to discuss several matters. I left the lab at 14:00.

Being at Home

It was Sunday. I was stil at hone to get recovery. The medicines (dextaco, PAMOL, and DAMUVIT) along with Biobran and Lacidofil) were still administered. Nuri made two dishes for our meals. Anindya, Dastan, and Bibik went to Erlangga to be overnight.

Anindya Coming

It was Saturday. In the morning Dastan and Bibi came home after having overnight at Erlangga. Before zuhr time I, Nuri, and Dastan went to Natural Store to buy crispy crackers for Dastan. I still was not good.

About zuhr time I slept. Nuri, Bibik, and Dastan went to the airport to fetch Anindya. At 13:45 They came home.

In the evening we went to Mardi Mulya Clinic. I and Nuri also saw the doctor. After that we went to Masmet Soto stand to have light dinner.

Going to Ciregol Again

It was Friday. In the morning I, in a group consisted of Pranoto, Putra, Andreas, an the driver went to Ciregol again. In another group there were Ms. Rantika, Didit, Priyo, an the driver. Our group stopped by at Soto Seger for breakfast.

As yesterday we stopped by at the Pemali Comal River Basins Management Office. We made permission from Mr. Kasmono. A social chat with him and Sony was underway. At zuhr time I joined the Friday prayer at the office masjid.

We left the office with Chandra was with us. We stopped by at the Sari Mendo Resto where we had lunch. Because all dishes were lamb based ones I only ate rice and soy sauce.

We then went to the same places we had visited yesterday. One more place was visited but it was not worrying.

In the afternoon we went back. We had our prayer at a fueling station. My condition was not good. I was fever. We had our dinner at Karunia Resto, Pemalang. At 11:45 I arrived at home.

Going to Ciregol

It was Thursday. In the morning I went to Brebes area, one of those was Ciregol. I was with a civil engineering team consisted of Pranoto (Undip), Teguh (BBWSPJ), Putra, and (Undip students). Our objective was to survey for the first time the decaying of Pedes and Glagah Rivers. Both are tributaries of Pemali River.

The first destination was the Management Office of Pemali Comal Rivers at Tegal. We did not meet the officers but the employees gave us hydrologic data of the project area. One of them, Chandra, accompanied us for the following destinations.

At Notog weir we got another companion, Supadi. He was the pathfinder for the next objects.

The first objects was the juction of Glagah and Pedes rivers on Desa Kutamendala Tonjong. Sand and boulders (illegal) mining was on progress. Estimated, about 100 dump trucks of 6m³, 3 times a day were coming and going to pick the material out of the river.

The second spot was river bend of Glagah that threated the national road. It still located at Desa Kutamendala.

The third spot was river bend of Pedes that threated both national road and railways. A discussion was arising when we saw the condition. There was no mining but the river bed seemed to be declining. After all we went back home.

Beside stopping on those spots, our trip (Semarang - Ciregol) also stopped by at Soto Seger in Kendal for having breakfast, a sate house in Slawi for lunch, a fuel station in Tegal, and a Resto in Pemalang for having dinner. At 11:30 we arrived at home.

Failing for Seeing the Doctor

It was Wednesday. I supposed to see the doctor so I did not join Qigong. Though I was absent I failed to see the doctor. I came to the Garuda Clinic at 09:00. A #136 queue paper was given to me by the dispenser. When I got my turn, the clerk told that I was out of the pool. There had been 15 patients on the list to see the doctor and it would be no more. So, I went back home.

At 12:00 I went to the Mandiri Bank, Pandanaran to by US$ bills. The selling rate was Rp13.342.

On the way home. We stopped by Giant supermarket to by milk for Dastan.

In the afternoon Om Beni came to pick Dastan. This evening Dastan and Bibi were overnight at Erlangga.

I until late night prepared myself to go to Brebes tomorrow.

Seeing Colleagues

It was Tuesday. In the morning I joined qigong in the temple hall. The participants were 12 people. Melani was acting as the laoshi. I practiced chenqi, laqi, and pengqi guanding. The others were still continuing the session but I went back home. I had a promise to see Mr. Hidayat and Mr. Suharyanto at the Pemali Juana River Basins Management Office (BBWSPJ).

At home Dastan and Bibik came from having overnight in Erlangga. Bagus accompanied them. They seemed having good time.

At 09:00 I went to the BBWSPJ. I met Mr. Hidayat at the OM Division. We planned to see the subproject manager but he was being out of the town. I asked Mr. Hidayat to process the work supposed would be awarded to me.

At 10:00 I met Mr. Suharyanto at the Planning Division. I and him met Mrs. Rantika to confirm our plan to go to Ciregol on Thursday. We had to wait for her till 12:30. After everything settled I went back home. Lanjutannya...

Going to Tembalang

It was Monday. In the morning I went to the temple hall to join Qigong. The participants were 9 people. We practiced chenqi, laqi, pengqi guanding, and short xingshen zhuang. I paid my membership to Melani.

At 09:00 I went to the Hydro Lab, Undip to meet Pranoto. When I left the house Mrs. Djoni was at home. She was with Dastan. She seemed so missed of Dastan.

It was hard to find the location since Pranoto did not give me the clear information. I suggested him to send me the location using the WhatsApp application but he was not able to use id. Finally, I came to the place after he fetched me.

In the lab I met the several of the team members. They were Pranoti, Suharyanto, Sri SS, and . After making coordination, I went back home.

The traffic was jammed. I took the toll road and used the Manyaran gate to exit. I stopped by at the Bank Jateng Pemuda to draw my pension salary. At 14:45 I arrived at home.

The day was hot and humid liked the conditions of recent days.

Anindya Going to Jakarta

It was Sunday. In the morning Mr. and Mrs. Djoni came home to pick Dastan but they failed. Anindya wanted to be with him longer so she could allow them to pick him. They came twice, in the last come they were with Marcelo, Dastan's cousin. They also brought a kelinci.

At 14:30 I, Nuri, Bibik, and Dastan accompanied Anindya to the airport. She would go to Jakarta by Lionair. Dastan and Bibik would be still in Semarang for a week.

In the evening Mr. and Mrs. Djoni came to see Dastan for a while.

Anindya Coming Home

It was Saturday. I got up in the morning, prayed, and slept again. Nuri made a mushroom dish for our meal. I wiped and mopped the floor.

At 14:00 Anindya, Dastan, BibiK， and Bagus came. They just had lunch in a resto. Anindya, Dastan, an Bibik just arrived from Jakarta by plane. Mr. and Mrs. Djoni, and Bagus fetched them at the airport ang brought them to a resto.

In the evening I and Nuri went to Sarika Pharmacy to get medicines prescribed by Doctor Sumanto.

Being at home

It was Friday. I and Nuri were still at home to recover ourselves. I joined the Friday prayer at Masjid Attaqwa. Pranoto told me about the work.

In the evening Asri and Argi called on home. Argi then came to pak Djakahir to take his shirts and trousers. Rahutama told me he would come home.

Being at Home

It was Thursday. We were still at home. We need time to recover our stamina after 5 days trip. In addition, we had no car with us since the car was with Rahutama in Jogja.

After zuhr time Nuri made bitter cucumber dish for our meal. My berakfast was just an apple. In the evening I went to the Simongan Pharmacy to buy a box of gel.

Going Back Home

It was Wednesday. In the morning at 02:30 we went to a platform to see sunrise. Nuri was still in the hotel. Several 4-wheel drive sport cars brought me there. We had to wait for the sunset for a long time. We did our dawn prayer nearby. A musalah was provided. At about 05:20 the sun emerged from a thin cloud. We made pictures on it. We also made pictures of ourselves with nice scenery as the background.

The next sessions were just making our pictures at several points of interest. We did not visit the crater. At aboit 09:00 we were back to the hotel.

We had breakfast in the hotel. We continue our activity with packing our stuff. At about 11:00 we left the hotel for Surabaya.

We stopped by at the Kebonpring Resto. We had lunch and paying our prayers there. A melancholic atmosphere grabbed our feeling when we had to separate. I, Nuri, Harmeydi, Yulhaidi, Wiwin, Saleh, Faorudi and Yul's nephew were together in one car. The chaperones were also with us. Saleh and Faorudi dropped off in Gayung area. The remaining were shopping auspicious stuff. Wiwin separated himself in Jemursari. At maghrib time we arrived at Pasarturi station. I, Nuri, Harmeydi, his wife, Yul, and Yul's nephew dropped off. 

We waited for the train for about 2 hours. At 20:00 we left Pasarturi by Argobromo Anggrek Coaches. At about 11:30 we arrived at the Tawang Station. An Atlas taxi got us at home at 11:45. The cost was Rp30.000.

Reunion the Day 4

It was Tuesday. It was a formal holiday to celebrate the Waisak Day. It is the birthday, the awakening day, and the death of Buddha. We still continued our trip. Today we went to the Bromo volcano area.

We left the hotel at 09:00 after having nice breakfast. Our first destination was the Suramadu Bridge, a bridge connecting roads in Java and Madura islands. We were welcomed by the officers at the Bridge Monitoring Office. A lady from the Fifth National Road Management Office escorted us. She gave us information about the construction and operation of the bridge. She provided good lunch for us. She also was with us to get a best point to make pictures of the bridge. At about 13:00 we left the office for Bromo

We stopped by at the Kebonpring resto in Pasuruan by maghrib time. Good dishes were provided for our dinner. A musalah was available in the resto to enable us paying our prayer. At about 19:00 we continued our trip.

The traffic to Bromo was flowing. The road was steeping up. Many curves were encountered. Our car (minibus #8) was moving without trouble. At about 21:00 we arrived at the Bromo Cottages. The other 7 cars (car #1 to car #7) also arrived athe place safely. I and Nuri got room #211 for overnight.

Reunion the Day 3

It was Monday. We went to Surabaya by bus. We had our breakfast in the hotel dining room. Uniform T shirts were distributed afterward. Three luxury buses were provided for us. At 08:30 we left the hotel.

At about 12:30 we stopped by at the Nirwana Resto where some dishes were available for our lunch. A musala was available for us to pay our prayer. We still had time to have rest and social chat. At 13:30 we left the Resto to continue our trip to Surabaya.

On the way we stopped by at a public fueling station. The organizer allow us to have rest and rest room business.

At about maghrib time we arrived at the Santika Hotel, Jemursari. I and Nuri got room #918. We directly prepared ourselves for a party.

The party was organized on the Ballroom, fifth floor. It was a party to celebrate the 40 years of our group. Yulison and Samuel directed the party well. Wiwin and Aswo prepared the cake and the band. The cake resembled a turtle symbolized our group. The party also provided good dishes but I only took non carbohydrate ones. At 23:00 the party ended.
