Going to Salaman

It was Saturday. In the morning Mr. and Mrs. Djoni came to see Dastan. As usual they brought me dishes for us. They brought us lontong sayur and chicken porridge.

At about 10:00 Nuri, Anindya and Mbak Poppy went out to check hospital room order, bought pempek, etc. At 12:00 Dik Bambang and Din came to see me. We served them with pempek. I was so grateful for their coming. At 15:30 Rahutama accompanied them tp the station.

At 17:00 I and Rahutama went to Salaman. We stopped by Bakmi Pak Broto to have dinner. At 20:00 we arrived at the house. We met Esti, Peni, Asri, Argi, Aly, and Zaky. Lanjutannya...

Going Out

It was Friday. I went to the temple to join the qigong in the morning. The participants were 13 people. We practiced chenqi, pengqi guanding, and sanxin zhuang.

I joined the Friday prayer at Attaqwa mosque. On the way home I met Hakim. He was visiting his children.

At home we discussed about my plan to undergo liver resection but Nuri then was emotional.

In the afternoon I, Anindya and mbak Poppy went to a Pizza Hut stall to have lunch. Then, we separated, I was dropped at the Gramedia Bookstore while Anindya and Mbak Poppy went to textile stores in Kranggan. We went back home by maghrib time. Lanjutannya...

Composing Reports

It was Thursday. It was a public holiday to celebrate the easter. I did not go for the qigong because the venue was beeing used concerning the celebration of the god Sanbao Dadi (三宝大帝) birthday. Nuri and Mbak Poppy went to Brumbungan to meet an intending person.

This day I spent my time to compose my reports on assisting the water resources council. I also tried to compose first pages of yearly workplan and code of conduct. Lanjutannya...

Priyono Coming By

It was Wednesday. In the morning I went to the temple to join the qigong. The participants were 16 people, many. We practiced chenqi, pengqi guanding and sanxin zhuang.

In the morning when I was leaving home, Bagus, Anindya and Dastan came. He had been overnight in Bagus' house on Jalan Erlangga.

At 10:00 Priyono and Sri Rezeki came to visit us. They were on the way to Salaman. They then continued to visit Asri.

Family Dinner

It was Tuesday. It was a holiday to commemorate the Isra Mikraj Day (the day of the prophet trip and ascention). I joined the qigong in the temple hall. The participants were 12 people. I joined 3 session: chenqi, laqi, and pengqi guanding. I absent in the last session, dancing zhuang.
At home I mopped the verandah. Then, Mr. and Mrs. Djoni came to take Dastan. I, Nuri, Anindya and mbak Poppy went to Citra Mall for window shopping.
After being home, I and Nuri went to Alfa Cellular to buy smartphones. We chose a Oppo Joy for Nuri and a Himax Pure for mbak Poppy. The costs were Rp1.700.000 and Rp1.200.000, respectively.
In the evening we managed a family dinner at Gama Resto Candi. Beside me, the participants were Mr. and Mrs. Djoni, Dimas, om Beni, Bagus, Anindya, Dastan, mbak Poppy, Nuri and Rahutama.

Mbak Poppy Coming

It was Monday. In the morning I went to the temple to join qigong. The participants were about 12 people. We practiced chenqi, pengqi guanding and sanxin zhuang. The sanxin zhuang was so long.
At 08:30 I and Nuri went to the Immigration Office. The clerk took our pictures, respectively. Then, they interviewed us. The passports would finish on June the 3rd.
At 10:00 Nuri, Anin and Dastan went to Resto Simsix to join an ITB wives monthly gathering. On the way going home, they fetched mbak Poppy from the Tawang Station.
At 13:30 I joined a discussion in the office. The participants were Bena, Deddy, and Mr. Suhartono. We were discussing the work plan and bulletin contents.
Prior to the discussion I enjoyed nasipadang they served. At 15:30 the discussion concluded.
In the evening Rahutama went to a wedding party.

Going Around Borobudur

It was Sunday. It was the second day of the Reunion. We had breakfast at a house to the left of the hotel. I appreciated the committee that had provided the traditional local food.

Then we went around Borobudur by bicycles and carts. The first destination was Reservation Studio where we got information about the reservation of the temple. I realized that the temple was for Budhism education not for congressional prayer. The other information was that temple was discovered firstly by Rafles in the condition rupture and covered by Merapi ashes.

The second destination was a craft house. It produced souveners of Borobudur genuine.

The third destination was a batik house where we could draw a batik from a plain fabric. We were served with young coconut.

Finally, we went back to the hotel. I got showering that made me fresh. We had lunch in a dining hall. The committee served us with sayur asem, sayur tempe, ayam kecap and mangut beong.

At the end of the lunch session we elected a new management. The new management consists of the chairman: Hariyoto, the vice: Seta, the secretary: Risnawati, the vice: Nani, the Treasurer: Tatik, the vice: Anna, and the special treasurer for charity activities: Nurjati.

The reunion ended at 13:30. Rahutama took me at 15:00. I was the last person leaving the hotel.

Reunion

It was Saturday. In the morning at 04:30 Anindya, Dastan and Bibik came from Jakarta by train. Bagus, Mr. Djoni and Mrs. Djoni fetched them from the Tawang Station.

At 06:15 I and Rahutama went to Magelang for a reunion. On the way we stopped by Bedono Banaran Cafe to enjoy a cup of coffee. At 08:45 I was dropped at the SMAN1 Magelang where the reunion took place.

It was the 40 year Reunion of the 1974 Alumni. About 80 alumni joined it ie Seta, Winardi, Endianto, Bao Chang, Nurjati. The former teachers were Mr. Darjadi, Mr. Manaf, Mr. Edi, Mr. Hartanto, Mrs. Sri Dalinah, Mrs. Sukariyah, Mrs. Kristin, etc.

At 14: we moved to Pondok Tingal Hotel, Borobudur. We managed dinner by providing local dishes and 'dimsum'. I presented my implementation report on chairing the organization. At 23:00 we dismissed.

Joining a Meeting

It was Friday. At 08:30 I was dropped at the office by Rahutama. I joined a meeting concerning the preparation of the first Dewan SDA Projateng plenary meeting. There were two topics: Code of Meeting and 2014 Work Plan. The participants were Bena, the chairman, Radito, Artana, Mr. Suhartono and Dedi. The meeting was suspended for Friday Prayer and continued after the prayer.

I joined the prayer at Darussalam Mosque. After praying I, Mr. Guntoro, Mr. Suhartono, Mr. Agus and Mr. Prasetyo were involved on a social talk.

The meeting concluded at 15:30. At the time the street was impounded by high tide water. I asked Rahutama to wait for me on the north ring road. Mr. Bena was generous to drop me there. On the way home we stopped by at a point on Jalan Anjasmoro near the railway cross. Rahutama bought Bu Lin dishes and fried banana caramel.

Monthly Gathering

It was Tuesday. In the morning at 08:00 I and Nuri went to Immigration Office to get new passports. We had to park our car in the kampung area far from the office because the parking area was not in service. There was a road upgrading. A clerk served us with form papers and information. Then we wrote our data on, delivered to a counter and finished. It took 1 hour from getting off to getting in the car. On the way home we stopped by a BNI Bank to pay off the passport cost.

At 11:00 we came to the Canadia Resto to join a monthly gathering of WSP employees. There were Mrs. Arus the host, Mrs. Suryadi, Mr. and Mrs. Tarsono, Mr. and Mrs. Bharoto, Mr. and Mrs. Yatin, and Mr. and Mrs. Supriyanto.

Nuri Being Cough

It was Wednesday. I joined the qigong in the morning. The sessions were chenqi, laqi, pengqi guanding and dancing zhuang. The participants were about 13 people. Mr. Andi was in. I concluded at 07:30.

Nuri was cough, so she could not go anywhere. We cancelled to go to the Immigration Office to renew our passports. She just made mushroom stir fry for our breakfast.

In the afternoon she felt better. We had a late lunch at Pak Man soto stall. Then, we went to the Sehat Pharmacy to get my medicines. On the way home we stopped by Kariadi Hospital to check our room order.

In the evening we bought nasi padang for our dinner. Nuri bought nasi pecel from Yu Sri stall. I found the nasipadang was less spicy. Lanjutannya...

Joining Qigong

It was Tuesday. In the morning I joined the qigong in the temple hall. The participants were about 12. I joined all sessions.

At noon I and Nuri went to Immigration Office to get new passports. Mine was almost expired while Nuri's had been expired for long time. Lanjutannya...

Meeting in LPJK Office

It was Monday. In the morning I got up early, prayed and slept again. I need to sleep more for recovery. Nuri was still exhausted so she did not made any dish.

At 10:30 I went to LPJK to join a meeting. The meeting delayed because the official was welcoming Hediyanto, the Head of Construction Facilitating Body.

The meeting started at 11:30 chaired by Mr. Bagio. Mr. Mulyono, Mr. Slamet and Mr. Asanto were with him. It was participated by assessors discussing the evaluation of sertification. There was no problem in the assessing step. Problems were at the main office. At 13:30 the meeting concluded.

In the evening I accompanied Nuri shopping at Superindo supermarket. We looked for vegetable.

Going Home

It was Sunday. I and Nuri got up at 04:30 and at 05:45 we were in the bus ready to go to the airport. In the bus was Robi, Salahudin, Sapto, Iwan, Zaenal,Sudaryono, the wives and children. At 05:55 we left the hotel and at 08:10 we arrived at the Minangkabau International Airport.

Our flight were JT0353 Padang-Jakarta and JT0516 Jakarta-Semarang. The first flight was delayed but the second one was on time. At 16:00 we landed on Ahmad Yani Airport of Semarang. Our baggages were left behind. We made a report sheet to the airliner, Lion Air.

Before being home we came to Bakmi Naga for late lunch. At 20:00 Nuri went to the airport to take the baggages. Lanjutannya...

Makan Samba Banyak

It was Saturday. In the morning the folks were gathering in Ngarai Sianok. They tracked the canyon and the wall. I and Nuri separated from them. We went to Aur Kuning Market to buy mukena (cloth for praying). To achieve the place we used public transport, it costed Rp2.500 per person. At 10:00 we went back to the hotel to change our costume.

At 13:00 we went to Budi's big family house at Nagari (village) of Kotogadang to joined lunch session named makan samba banyak (lunch with many dishes). Actually, the house belong to Rangkayo Rusmini Salim. Budi was the samando, the son in law of the family. We were again served with varieties of Minangkabau dishes. The special dish was itiak lado hijau (duck in green chilli pepper sauce).

In the afternoon we were dropped at Pasar Ateh Bukittinggi for free session. Some of us were shopping and the other were sight seeing.

In the evening we gathered at the hotel pool side to have barbeque dinner. A light showering made us disappointed. A bingo game was managed at the end. Lanjutannya...

Going to Kelok Sembilan

It was Friday. We had breakfast in the hotel. The dishes were not as variety as those of the Grand Zuri Hotel. At 10:00 we left the hotel for Kelok Sembilan. At 12:00 we stopped at Ampek Angkek to joined Friday Prayer.

After the prayer, we had lunch at the Pondok Baselo Resto. The lunch was served by the Mayor of Payakumbuh. Varieties of dishes were provided and the folks told they were tasty.

In the evening we arrived at Kelok Sembilan area. Kelok Sembilan was a segment of road in Limapuluhkoto Regency connecting West Sumatera and Riau Provinces. To achieve a higher elevation many round segments with small radius and high tangent were provided. To get bigger radius and low tangent for the segments to allow trailers making easy manuvers many bridges were built. It was an amazing civil engineering achievement. Many folks said it was a Hedi's idea. We made pictures in the area.

In the evening we joined a dinner session served by the Agam Regent in his official residence. Again, the dishes were tasty. The Regent, Mr. Indrajati, was so friendly. He entertained us with his song and speech.

Going to Pagarruyung

It was Thursday. It was the first day of our tour. Our destination was Pagaruyung Palace (istano basa). We had a good breakfast in the hotel but then at 09:00 we got a second breakfast in the residence of the West Sumatera Governor. The governor, Mr. Irwan Prayitno welcomed us. The dishes were good. Anto, Hedi, Taufik and Muji shared the table with him. At the end we made pictures in front of the residence.

Our trip was to Pagaruyung, Batusangkar. We stopped by Mak Syukur Sate Resto to have lunch. The resto served meat sate of Padangpanjang styled gravy.

In the afternoon we arrived there. The palace area were about 500m by 500m. The palace itself was about 20m by 100m positioned higher than the access. We used the time to made pictures with the palace was the background. We weared Minangkabau costumes. Of we rent the costume, Rp35.000 per unit. The picture of 15cm by 20cm costed Rp20.000 each.

In the evening the Government of Tanahdatar Regency welcomed us to a banquet session named makan bajamba, a dinner participated by many people. The dishes were 4 kinds (vegetable, fried fish, rendang meat and dendeng meat) served on a 50cm diameter plate. The were covered by an ornamented fabric along waiting. I only consumed the fish. It was tasty when being eaten with vegetable and chilli pepper (sambal).

After the dinner, a traditional drama telling Cindomato was performed. It seemed good to but the local language buffering us. The session was over at 24:00.

Going to Padang

It was Wednesday. We checked out from the POP Hotel. At 05:45 a Bluebird taxi came to fetch me to the Soekarno Hatta International Airport. It costed Rp130.000. The toll fee were Rp8.000 (Tebet-1) and Rp5.500 (Cengkareng). On arriving to the airport we had breakfast at Fastfood stall. We spent Rp72.000.

We were in the same flight (Lion Air JT0358) with Pranoto and his wife. The ticket fare was Rp1.323.400 for 2 people. We departed at 10:45 and landed at Minangkabau International Airport at 12:06. We then were transferred to Hotel Grand Zuri, Padang. After checking in we went out to look for lunch. We wanted to Simpang Raya Resto but the driver led us to a buffet resto. We were disappointed.

Being in Jakarta

It was Tuesday. We were still in Jakarta. We had breakfast in the hotel, a minimal menu. The hotel provided porridge, bun, and complete rice in leaf. They were tasty. The hotel also provided coffee and tea.

At 08:30 we came to Tebet BNI bank to put money on my account. Then, we went to Ambassador Mall to window shop. We had chicken noodle in Gajahmada Noodle.

Transaction

It was Monday. In the morning at 06:20 Rahutama dropped me and Nuri at the airport. We would go to Jakarta for a transaction. We flew Lion Air JT0501 departed at 07:25. The ticket fare was Rp885.600 for 2 people. By a Taxiku taxi we went to Bekasi Kemang Pratama. We stopped by Mentengpulo to see Dastan and dropped milkfish. We then stopped by Hotel Pop to made early checking in and dropped the baggage. At 11:05 we arrived at the office of Public Notary Ni Luh S where the transaction would take place. The taxi cost was Rp250.000.

The transaction was selling a house. I sell and someone bought it. At 12:00 we agreed the contract. Then she paid off in a Mandiri Bank branch. It took about an hour because the line was long. At 13:00 the paying off was settled. I and Nuri had lunch at a laksa stall. Then by a taxi we came to the hotel. The taxi cost was Rp70.000.

In the evening we had dinner at Mbok Berek Chicken stall. Then we saw Dastan and Anindya at their boarding house. Before going back to the hotel at 23:00 we saw Bulik Meti at her house.

Preparing for Going

It was Sunday. I and Nuri were packing stuff for a week trip. We would go to Jakarta tomorrow then after being there 2 nights we would continue to go to Padang. We would be there for 6 nights 7 days to join an ITB civil engineering class 1975 reunion tour.

Seeing a Doctor

It was Saturday. At 10:00 I and Nuri went to the Kariadi Hospital to see Doctor Eko for regular control. About an hour we waited for my turn. The doctor said that the liver resection was recommended for recovery. At 14:00 we left the hospital.

This morning Asri came on her way to the market. She took her smartphone that had left behind.In the evening I and Nuri met her again in Ada Supermarket. She with the gang. Lanjutannya...

Joining the Qigong

It was Friday. I came to the temple hall to join the qigong. The participants were about 5 people in the beginning and increased to about 10 people at the mid session. I practiced chenqi, laqi and pengqi guanding. The last would be sanxin zhuang but I did not join it. I went back home.

Nuri joined her peer in the morning after made lodeh dish for me. I joined the Friday prayer at Attaqwa Mosque. On arriving at home Asri was in. Then, her gangs joined her. Asri brought me mackerel soup. It was tasty.

In the evening I accompanied Nuri going to Elizabeth counter. She bought shoes for her use on our trip to West Sumatra.

Being at Home

It was Thursday. I was at home all day long. Nuri was busy to tailor her new gown. It would be weared during our trip to West Sumatera. Because here business she just made spinach soup and fried shrimp in flour.

I composed my clothes schedule for the trip. Our trip would be a week long. So, the plan was made as detail as possible.

Going to the Office

It was Wednesday. I started to pray again. At 12:00 I went to the office to pass my gift for Mr. Edy's daughter in their wedding party to Mr. Agus Tri. However, he was joining the meeting. All officials were there. So, I thought I could pass it to Mr. Adi Rahman. When I met her after meeting he told me he had not receive invitation so he would not come to the party. It meaned I could not pass it to him. He said I might pass it to Dewa Nyoman.

When I contacted him, he was in the Semarang - Bawen toll road on the way to Solo. I asked him to stop by Banaran Cafe and waited for me. In a hurry I was after him. I run my car at 90 - 105 km/h. Eventually, I met Dewa at Banaran Cafe. He was with Supriyanto. After passing the gift to him, we were apart. I went back home.

In the evening I accompanied Nuri going to Ada Supermarket for monthly shopping. I was exhausted this day.

Checking Out

It was Tuesday. In the morning Doctor Eko came to visit. Then, Nuri came to bring me steamed cassava. Cassava was my meal during chemotheraphy. In the afternoon at 02:30 Rahutama came to be with me. At 03:15 the session finished, I was transferred to room #130 Garuda Building. I waited for the flushing till 07:00. At 07:30 I checked out from the hospital.

At home I consumed soup. It was tasty.

Chemo the Day 2

It was Monday. I was still underway chemotheraphy. Doctor Eko visited me. My blood pressure were120/80 in the morning and 130/80 in the afternoon. Nuri visited me in the morning at 10:00. After maghrib time Rahutama came to visit. Lanjutannya...

Chemo the Day 1

It was Sunday. In the morning the clerk told me a cyto room was available for me. So, I should move there. I asked Nuri to come and bring me a breakfast meal. Because she was not ready I asked her to bring me nasipecel. It came, nasipecel was for my breakfast.

I came to the cyto room, Cendrawasih #5 at 09:00. At 10:00 an infusion was installed and then the medicines was administered. Nuri was with me till 10:30. Doctor Eko came to visit at noon.

In the afternoon to maghrib Nuri came again to bring me crackers. Rahutama visited me in the evening. I made ticket transaction to him.

This day I paid off Tour de Minangkabau cost Rp3.000.000. Then ticket Jakarta - Padang Rp1.400.000. Lanjutannya...

Entering the Hospital

It was Saturday. This afternoon at 16:30 I and Nuri went to the Kariadi Hospital, the Garuda Pavillion. A room order clerk previously had told Nuri that a room had been going to be available in the afternoon. When we arrived there, it was true, a room had been available. After completing the administration, I came to the laboratory to put the blood sample. The I entered the room #130. Nuri went back home. Doctor Eko observed me. Everything seemed ok. In the evening Rahutama came to deliver my dinner.

In the morning at 08:00 I and Rahutama went to Jogja to joined a wedding party organized by Mr. Natsir to celebrate the marriage of his daughter. We stopped by Banaran Cafe for having breakfast. At 11:30 we arrived at Grha Sarina Vidi, Sleman. I joined the party but Rahutama still in the car. The party was brisk. The dishes were variety and tasty. I met Mr. Budi Giyanto, Mr. Sjukrul Amin, Mr. Meiyanto and wife, Mr. Mulyana Nasa Tirta, Mr. Eddi Widodo and Mr. Rahmat Rani. At 12:30 we left the venue. At 15:30 we arrived at home. Seeing a Doctor

It was Friday. After maghrib time I and Nuri went to Doctor Sumanto. Without queuing I had my turn. We need his advice concerning my plan to remove my nodule by surgery. He said technically possible. He also revealed a FNA method by taking liquid sample from the nodule. However, surgery was better.

This morning Nuri made pizza for our breakfast. There were 2 toppings, the chicken vegetable and the beef vegetable ones. I just ate the chicken one as advised by Doctor Suharti. The pizza was really tasty.

Mrs. Djoni and Om Beni came to see Dastan. Then, the took him away to their house. In the afternoon, they brought him back. Bagus was with them. In the afternoon Anindya, Bagus and Dastan went to Erlangga. They would be overnight there.

I joined the Friday at Attaqwa Mosque. Aly and Zaky were also there.

Anindya Coming

It was Tuesday. It was Labor day, the government set it as a public holiday. Anindya and Dastan came from Jakarta by Lionair JT504. They were home accompanied by Mr. And Mrs. Djoni. We were with Dastan all day.

In the evening I, Nuri, Anindya, Rahutama went to Refresh Eat n Drink Resto to have dinner. It was heavy showering when we went back.
