Being in the Office

It is Thursday. I arrived in the office at 10:00 at the same time with Atina arriving. Priyonggo and Anwar were in. Benny were absent. There was almost nothing I did. At 15:00 I went back to the guesthouse for sleeping.

Being in the Office

It is Wednesday. By 03:00 the bus entered Pulaugebang Terminal to drop some passengers. It then exited the terminal for Kampung Rambutan Terminal. I got off at Kampung Rambutan Terminal. A Gojek bike then brought me to the guesthouse. I arrived there at 03:29. Bambang was in.

At 10:00 I arrived at the office. Anwar, Atina, and Priyonggo were in. Benny arrived later. I reported to Benny my January honorarium was not received yet. He had no idea to solved it.

I joined dhuhur prayer in the Masjid Baiturrahim along with a new soil engineer, Fadli, at 12:15. At 13:00 Benny managed a meeting for all engineers to follow up the findings during field inspection. It concluded at 14:30. Lanjutannya...

Going to Jakarta

It is Tuesday. I woke up late in the morning. I was still at home. Nuri picked up Dastan from his play group at 12:00.

At 18:55 Nuri dropped me at Nusantara bus pool. I would go to Jakarta. The executive class seat run out, so I took the super executive one at Rp260.000.

At 20:05 my bus NS04 departed for Jakarta. I was on seat 3B beside 3A, an empty seat Lanjutannya...

Capgomeh Gathering

It is Monday. I joined qigong in the temple hall in the morning. The participants were 9 people. We practiced chenqi laqi (tui-shou), and pengqi guanding. At the end Laoshi Bambang Hartono (Ong Hian Gi) gave explanation.

Today Nuri did not provide meals for us. For breakfast I bought pecel and kluban from Ida's kiosk. In the afternoon I ordered nasi padang from Sederhana by Gojek food.

It is Saturday. In the morning at about 1:15 I got off at Krapyak area. I then went to an Indomaret shop in an public fueling station. A gojek bike then brought me home. At 01:39 I arrived at home. After having relaxed I got slept.

I woke up at about 09:00. Nuri made every thing tidy. She cleaned the window glass. I did not do any thing for recovering.

Going Back to Semarang

It is Friday. I arrived at the office at 10:00. Priyonggo was in. Benny arrived later. Anwar and Atina did not show. I still did not receive my January honorarium. I asked to Ita of the head quarter it was still in progress.

At 11:45 I went to the masjid to join Friday prayer. It began at 12:15. The preacher reminded us to use our logic in receiving religius teach. At 12:50 I went back to the office.

Being in the Office

It is Thursday. At 04:00 I got off at Jatinegara. I ordered a Gojek bike to send lunpia to Benny. Then I ordered a Gojek car to bring me to the guesthouse. At 04:45 I arrived there. Bambang was not in.

At 10:15 I arrived at the. Benny, Priyonggo, Anwar, and Atina were in. I signed drawings of Section 1.

After maghrib time I went back to the guesthouse. I stopped by at a nasi uduk kiosk for dining.

It is Wednesday. In the morning I joined qigong temple hall. The participants were 12 people. We practiced chenqi, laqi (tui - shou), pengqi guanding, and sanxin bing zhan zhuang.

Before dhuhur time I went to a printing workshop to bind a hydrology manual named SNI Debit Banjir. In the afternoon I and Nuri went to Lunpia Delight shop on Jalan Gajahmada to buy some. Then we went to Bandeng Juwana shop on Jalan Pamularsih to buy some bandeng.

New Bank Card

It is Monday. In the morning at 06:10 I and Nuri joined qigong in the temple hall. The participants were 12 people. We practiced chenqi, laqi, pengqi guanding, and sanxin bing zhanzhung. At the end of the session we paid off our participation levy for joining the coming lampion night to Melani. In the way home we shopped in Gang Pinggir and Prembaen markets.

At 10:00 by a Gojek bike I went to Bank BCA Pemuda to take the new bank card. The new card was chip embedded seeming more secured. Then, I also printed my bank book. Before going home I came to Bu Lin Kiosk to have lunch. Nasi mangut was in my menu.

Being at Home

It is Sunday. I washed my clothes in the morning at 08:00. Nuri went out to shop at Prembaen Market to get soup condiments. During her absent I wiped and mopped the floor. I then continued being busy by ironing the clothes.

Nuri made nasi goreng for our breakfast and lunch. In the evening she made soup for our dinner.

Going Back to Semarang

It is Saturday. I woke up at 03:45 then prepared myself for check out. At 04:45 I left the hotel for the airport by a Gojek car. Priyonggo was still in the hotel sleeping. My flight was Lion Air JT0625. I got seat 16C.

I did my prayer in the airport. The musala was crowded, I had to queue for ablution. Then, I had a coffee and roasted bread at Bangi Kopi Resto. I found the coffee was not tasty.

At 06:10 I boarded and at 07:00 our Lion Air Boeing 737-800NG took off for Semarang. The flight was smooth. I was sleeping for a while. I found the seat could not be reclined so my sleep was not enjoyable. At 07:15 local time I landed at Ahmad Yani Airport of Semarang. Nuri picked me home. I slept after having breakfast.

At 14:00 I joined Zaenal and Hidayat at Chanadia Resto for having lunch. I went there by a Gojek car, its tariff was Rp12.000. As usual we were involved in a social talk. We found Danang was also there.

Visiting Site

It is Friday. After having breakfast in the hotel we went to Depot Miki to buy some mantou. This depot (food outlet) was known as their. I bought some for Endi and home. Priyonggo also bought some for his family. I would take the stuff in the afternoon. We continued to go to Wika Project at Kilometerage 38.

At 11:00 we arrived at Wika Project Office. There was time to visit the closest sites. We went first to STA 21+600. Isvan and Hanif accompanied us. We found that the track was almost connected. They put 4 cells of temporarily culvert. We also visited STA 23+150, the location that a box was aborted. We found the decision was ok.

At 12:30 we joined Friday prayer in the masjid inside the office complex. Then Isvan asked us to have lunch at a warung padang nearby.

We continued to visit rest area at STA 26+200. They told the still waiting for the structural drawing. In the office of the section we made a note. Then, we left to see right side drain under overpass at STA 31+000. It was not constructed yet.

We continued tracking to STA 47+000 where an underpass was under construction. We met Ridwan and Zulfikar. We discussed the location and dimension of the cross drain. We decided to keep the current plan. We wrote the note in the Section 2.2 office.

We then went back passing the toll track. We dropped Isvan at Wika Project Office. On the way to the hotel we stopped by at Depot Miki to take the mantous and at Upik Resto to dine. Lanjutannya...

Wasteful Day

It is Thursday. At 09:00 after having breakfast in the hotel I and Priyonggo went to PT JBS office to get an application letter for using water resources space. Unfortunately, the office was empty. Almost all of the employees went to Malang to join a wedding party of one of their colleagues. So, we left the office for other place. We had to wait for the car because it was away to get fuel. This time it was hard to get diesel fuel.

We went to Section 1 to visit the location. Herlambang, a Wika employee accompanied us to traced the toll track. We reached STA 8+000 and stopped since the continuing track was still owned by local settler.

We went to Wika Office meet Basa but he was not in. So, because our health condition was not good we decided to go back to the hotel. On the way we stopped by at Depot Miki to buy mantou. It was a taste test.

Going to Samarinda

It is Wednesday. I went to Samarinda along with Priyonggo. At 06:30 I left the guesthouse for Kampung Rambutan Terminal by a Gojek bike. An airport bus departed from the terminal at 07:00 bringing me to the airport. I arrived at Terminal 2E at 08:15.

My flight was Batik Air ID6256 scheduled to depart at 10:30. I came in Imperial Kitchen for breakfast. I checked in at 09:15 getting seat 11B for me and 21C for Priyonggo. After joining with Priyonggo we entered the waiting room at Gate E4. At about 10:00 there was a call for boarding. Our Batik Airbus A320 took off on time for Samarinda.

At about 13:45 we landed at APT Pranoto Airport of Samarinda. It is a new airport. It was my first time landed there. Saswinto picked us up and brought us to BWSK3 office on Jalan MT Haryono.

We met Ibu Rustiani the chief of recommendation affair. We were involved a brief discussion with her and her subordinate, Deny. Then, she passed the recommendation for the usage water resources space in Pondok Gong River for Balikpapan Samarinda Toll Road. We took the documents to be proceeded to get the permission from the Ministry of Public Works and Housing. We left the office for Wika Project Office at kilometerage 38.

At 19:00 we arrived at the office. We met the project manager (Heru Subagyo) to get his signatures on the documents. A short social talking took place along with another manager, Usodo. Seeing a Doctor

It is Tuesday. Bambang went to Manado. I arrived at the office at 08:45. Benny ang Priyonggo arrived later. Atina was absent. I made a preparation to go to Samarinda to see BWSK3 officers. I asked Iik to print a drawing.

At 17:30 I went back to the guesthouse. I got fever at 19:00. I went to Ardita Clinic to see a doctor. In waiting I dined at an Aceh styled Resto. I had nasi goreng Aceh.

My turn came at 21:30. My blood pressure was 110/70. Doktor gave me 2 kinds of medicine: I spent Rp100.000 for the service. Lanjutannya...

Visiting Endi

It is Monday. At 04:45 I arrived at the guesthouse. Bambang was in. After praying I slept.

At 09:45 I arrived at the office. Benny was in. Atina came later. Priyonggo was absent. Anwar visited the office for a while. He was still in terrible health condition.

At 12:00 I went to Endianto's house. He showed me his new roasted coffee. He then made me a cup of coffee. We then talked sharing our experience.

At 15:00 I left his house for the office. It was cloudy and seeming to rain in a time. It was, it rained when I arrived at the office. Benny had left.

At 17:30 I left the office for the guesthouse. I took my clothes from the laundry shop.

Going to Jakarta

It is Sunday. In the morning I washed my clothes. At about 09:00 I, Nuri, Anindya, Dastan, Aishalina went to Nirwana Stable for having fun. It reached about 60 minutes. Dastan and Aisha enjoyed riding horses. Aisha was accompanied by Anidya on a big horse while Dastan on a ponny horse. I found them being happy.

At about 12:00 Mr. dan Mrs. Djoni came along with Dimas and Elo. They seemed wanting to see Dastan and Aisha. At about 13:00 we left the venue. Anindya bought a durian and took it away home. It was a good one, because it was a new dropped one but mature inside.

At 19:00 Nuri dropped me at Nusantara bus pool on Jalan Siliwangi. I would go to Jakarta. At 20:00 our bus, the NS26 bus departed for Jakarta. I was on seat 15. The air conditioner was not good. I was little bit sweated. Lanjutannya...

Walking

It is Saturday. In the morning I and Nuri went to Anindya's house. I was just for a while being there then I continued walking along Jalan Bojongsalaman and Jalan Puspanjolo.

When I arrived home I found Dastan and Aishalina were at home, There were also Ratna, Yuanto, Antris, her husband, Ninok, and Antris' kids, The kids seemed to be happy. They got sad when their parents took them with for their house.

I went to Nusantara bus agent to take the ticket. I found that Nusantara pool on Jalan Walisanga was abandoned and they moved at a smaller place on Jalan Siliwangi. This night Nuri was overnight at Anindya's house. Lanjutannya...

It is Friday. In the morning we cancelled to join qigong in the temple hall because raining. I and Nuri practiced chenqi, laqi, and pengqi guanding at home. We spent 1 hour.

Fixing Roof

It is Thursday. In the morning I joined qigong in the temple hall. The participants were about 9 people. We practiced chenqi and xingshen zhuang. After practiced I paid my levy Rp100.000 to Melani. I also gave a beggar Rp100.000 outside the hall.

Nuri asked Pak Rozi to fix the roof. It seemed that some glass gentings were dropped. He and his assistant coped with the problem. They then went to Anindya's house to see the roof problem again. I accompanied them. They deduced the problem came from non plastered wall. Lanjutannya...

Gathering

It is Wednesday. In the morning at 10:00 I and Nuri went to D'Lodeh Resto on Jalan Kyai Saleh to join monthly gathering of former water supply project employees' wives. Only few people came, they are wives of Arus, Amat, Bharoto, and Widodo. Amat and Bharoto were also in accompanying their wives. As usual that was a small reunion and all attendants shared their experience. I and Nuri chose this resto because it was quite new and the owner was Tatik. We wanted to try what she provided. We found that the dishes and the performance were very good. We wanted to be back again.

At 12:00 we dismissed. I and Nuri went to Piranti Shop to buy filter paper for coffee. I bought 2 kinds, bleached and non bleached ones. The prices were Rp30.000 dan Rp25.000 respectively. Then we went to Bank Mandiri Pamularsih to deposit money. Nuri's bank card was taken by ATM so she had to pay more time to get it back.

Being at Home

It is Tuesday. It was the first day of Chinese Year. In the morning Nuri went out to accompanied Anindya and Dastan looking for decorating plants. They went out till afternoon.

During their left, I ironed my batik shirts. They were about 7 pieces, so many. Then, I wiped and moped the floor. It seemed it was too long it was not moped. After Nuri beeing back I went to Cak Rus Barbershop to trim my hair.

It is Monday. I was still at home. I washed my clothes and in the afternoon I ironed them. I also ironed my clothes I had washed last week.

Going to Salaman

It is Sunday. At 10:30 I, Nuri, Anindya, Dastan, and Aishalina went to Salaman. We traced the toll road till Bawen. Then we passed the segment of Salatigas Magelang. At Magelang we had lunch at Bu Tatik Fried Chicken resto in Mertoyudan. Then, we continued to go to Salaman. At about 14:00 we arrived at the family house in Salaman. We met Lik Santo and Lik War. They seemed ok.

At about 16:00 we left the house. We traced again the same way as we had passed. At Banaran cafe we stopped by to have our early dinner. Banaran Cafe were still full of the customers. Withdrawing the Pension Salary

It is Saturday. At 01:10 I got off on Jalan Siliwangi at the exit of the toll road. I walked to an Indomaret shop inside the public fueling unit. A Gojek bike then brought me home. I arrived at 01:40. After having late dinner I slept.

At 11:00 I and Nuri went to Bank Jateng Plasa Simpanglima to withdraw my pension salary. We then window shopped at the plasa. At 14:00 we arrived at home. An hour later we went to Anindya's house to see the kids. They were ok. Dastan seemed skinny. Bibik was sick. Bu Surati's daughter and her husband came from Bojonegoro. They rode their bike to get here. Before maghrib time I went back home. Nuri was still there to accompanied the kids because Anindya would bring Bibik to see a doctor. Lanjutannya...

Going Back to Semarang

It is Friday. I put clothes at the laundry shop nearby. At about 09:30 I arrived at the office. Priyonggo, Atina, and Benny came later. At 12:00 I joined Friday Prayer at Masjid Baiturrahim.

At 13:00 I ordered a Gojek bike to bring me to the terminal but suddenly the rain came so I aborted the order. I directed the biker to set the application as if he took the order so I still paid the cost. Later, Priyonggo gave a ride to Kampung Rambutan Terminal. I took Jaya Bus to bring me to Semarang. Later I was screwed up by the agent because the bus class did not met with the cost I had paid, Rp245.000. At 14:15 the bus went Pulogebang Terminal to take other passangers. At about 16:00 the bus left the terminal to Semarang. However, at Cikampek, the bus exited the toll road to picked up other passangers. I was so disappointed.

The bus stopped by at a rest area kilometerage 86 for dining and praying. I did not get the a dinner voucher so I had to pay the dinner. The bus continued to go. At Brebes the bus exited to pick up and drop passanger in Tegal, Pekalongan, and Batang then entered the toll road again. It was a dissapointing day. Lanjutannya...
