Going Back to Semarang

It is Friday. I arrived at the office at 09:20. The office empty. Then Priyonggo, Anwar, Panggih, and Benny came. Atina was absent like yesterday. He was in Manado to help electrical designing at Manado Bitung Toll Project. 

I joined Friday prayer at Masjid Baitur Rahman nearby. After concluding I went back to the office soon. I did my ashar prayer in advance in the office. At 13:00 I left the office for Tawang Station. A Gojek bike brought me to PGC1 stop. A bus then brought me to Pal Putih stop. Another bus got me to Senen Sentral stop. Finally, another bus again got me to Gambir1 stop. It was 14:38 when I arrived there.

I printed the boading pass based on a booking code sent by Nuri. Then, I waited for the Argo Sindoro train in the Dunkin Donat counter. A cup of Americano and a donat were being with me. At 15:40 I boarded on coach 5. My seat was 3C.

At 16:45 the train departed for Tawang, on time. The train reached Cirebon Kejaksan at 18:57, Tegal at 20:10, Pekalongan at 20:59, and arrived at Tawang Station at 22:12. A Gojek bike then got me at home at 22:40. Nuri prepared lodeh dish for my dinner. Lanjutannya...

Being in the Office

It is Thursday. I arrived at the office at 09:30 and the office was no worker. Then others were arriving, Benny, and Anwar. Priyonggo actually was coming early but then he went to see Richard. Basa came at about 11:00. He worked to wrap up the report.

I was still to upgrade my report. I also observed the drawing one by one. At 16:00 I help Benny to order a Grab car.

Being in the Office

It is Tuesday. At 04:40 the train arrived at Jatinegara Station, then, by a Gojek bike at 05:51 I arrived at the guesthouse. Bambang was just preparing himself for a trip to Manado. I had a short sleep like as usual.

Going to Jakarta

It is Monday. In the morning I joined qigong in the temple hall. The participants were 11 people. We practiced chenqi, laqi, pengqi guanding, and sanxin zhuang. After the session I paid off my contribution Rp100.000 for May to August.

I then when to Tawang Station to buy a ticket. It was 07:50 the ticket booth had not opened but the go show booth served me. I got a Bangunkarta one at Rp284.000. The train ticket I favored, Argo Anggrek, has run out.

After arriving at home I washed and dried my clothes. They were not many because some of them had been washed by Nuri few days ago.

I then accompanied Nuri to settle some matters. We went to a steel workshop to order a water storage cover. The owner was Priyono welcoming us. Then, we went to Anindya's office to take her house key. We continued to Pasar Bulu to buy a pottery water flask. The next was a pempek kiosk on Jalan Kaligarang where we bought timlo for our lunch. Finally, we visited Anindya's house to measure the water storage cover.

In the afternoon I ironed the clothes. I felt exhausted after finishing my job.

At 21:00 after dining I went to Tawang Station by a Gojek car. After being at the destination I printed the boarding pass. I was in coach 6 seat 9B. At 22:45 the train departed from Tawang Station. It was 15 minutes late. Lanjutannya...

Being at Home

It is Sunday. I was still at home for being recovering. I was not sneezing anymore. Nuri was still suffering of flu. However, she still prepared our breakfast, vegetables soup. When I was defecating I found there is a small lump inside my rectum. I was little bit shocked.

Going Back to Semarang

It is Saturday. I went back to Semarang. At 06:00 I left the guesthouse walking to Cipayung street. On the way I dropped clothes at a laundry shop. Then by a public transport (angkota) car I to Cililitan, PGC1 bus stop. A busway bus brought me to Harmoni. On board a driver assistant told us that we would not reach Harmoni due to the area closing relating to Asian Games Marathon. We would maximally reach Pasarbaru stop. So I got off there. I walked 15 minutes to reach the station. At a canteen I had breakfast. It was about 08:15 and I had enough time to be in waiting.

The train was Argo Bromo Anggrek. I got the ticket at Rp365.000 using an application. Because of that I had no discount. I worried to be runway out of ticket if I bought it from the booth.

Fixing Watch

It is Friday. I had an apple for my breakfast. At 09:00 I went to the office. As usual I came first. Anwar, Priyonggo, and Benny came later.

At 11:30 I went to Masjid Baiturahman to join Friday Congregation Prayer. Atina, Benny, Priyonggo, and Anwar also joined there.

At 13:15 I left the office for Blok M suburb. I wanted to fix my wrist watch at the Seiko Service Center. Going to Blok M was too complicated. I first went to Terminal Kampung Rambutan by a Gojek bike. I supposed to continue to Blok M by a busway directed there but I was wrong taking a busway going to Ciputat. So, at Lebak Bulus I got off and changed the bus going to Harmoni. At Pasar Kebayoran Lama stop I got off. It was wrong getting off. I took another same direction bus to bring me to the RS Permata stop. Then a Joglo-Blok M bus got me at Blok M.

The service center located on Jalan Melawai IX-12. It was not hard to get there. I spent Rp150.000 to fix my watch. The amount of Rp90.000 was for a new battery.

I had late lunch at Padangese Resto Sederhana. I spent Rp34.000 for a plate of chicken rice.

I got in a Blok M-Kota bus to go back to the guesthouse. At Bundaran Senayan stop I changed to a Bundaran Senayan-Pinang Ranti bus. It was congested nut I still got a seat. It is Thursday. At 04:39 the train reached Jatinegara Station. I got off and looked for a Gojek car. I found the cost was expensive, Rp88.000 to bring me to the guesthouse. Eid al Adha

It is Wednesday. In the morning at 06:30 I joined the Eid Congregation Prayer in Masjid Attaqwa, Nuri did the same but we went there separately.

At about 11:00 Nuri, Dastan, Aishalina, Bibik, Mbak Sri (the helper) and her daughter came. We then went to Anindya's new house in the close by neighborhood. The construction had finished. I found some flawnesses, one of them was the water ground storage.

At 15:00 by a Gojek bike I went to Poncol Station. I bought a ticket for Jakarta tonight. I got a Bangunkarta ticket at Rp284.000. I then went to a snack shop around Prembaen Alley to buy koro nuts. I found the shop closed.

At 21:00 by a Gojek car I went to Tawang Station. After printing the boarding pass I entered the waiting platform. It was 21:20. At 22:20 I boarded at coach 7 seat 7B. At 22:39 the train left the station for Gambir. I soon got slept. Lanjutannya...

Buying A Present

It is Monday. In the morning I and Nuri went to Anindya's house to pick up Aishalina. We wanted to buy her a birthday present. Her birthday had just left, August 19th. She now is 2 years old. We then went to Elizabeth Bag Store on Jalan Imam Bonjol that provided various presents for kids. On the second floor she grabbed a pink bear doll. She did not change to other choices though Nuri offered them. So, we bought it at Rp115.000. She seemed so happy. He smiled much.

Going Back to Semarang

It is Sunday. In the morning we had breakfast in the guesthouse. They provided the breakfast in a plate consisted of rice, egg, vegetable, and noodle. Frankly speaking, no buffet liked yesterday. Mahardi again served his coffee for us.

At about 09:00 I went to Lapis Bogor Sangkuriang shop at a shopping gallery on Jalan Pajajaran to buy various cakes one of them was named lapis bogor. The shop was crowded because it was selling well. They sold also a croissant like pastry named bolen talas durian. We bought it. During shopping I waited for Nuri at a food court nearby. I ate Laksa Bogor. It was good.

At 11:30 I, Nuri, Asri, Fitri, and Aulia checked out the guesthouse. I paid off the breakfast meal for Priyono and Amir yesterday. By a Grab car we went to the station. It took about 30 minutes to get there. Fitriani and Aulia bought tickets for them while I, Nuri, and Asri would use our e-money cards to enter the train. We boarded at about 12:15. A moment later the train departed for Jakarta Kota. It was a commuter train so it stopped many times: Cilebut, Bojonggede, Citayam, Depok, Depok Baru, Pondok Cina, Universitas Indonesia, Universitas Pancasila, Lenteng Agung, Tanjung Barat, Pasar Minggu, Pasar Minggu Baru, Duren Kalibata, Cawang, Tebet, Manggarai. We got off at Manggarai Station at 13:30. Fitriani and Aulia continued their trip to Tambun. I, Nuri, and Asri ordered a Gojek car to bring us to Gambir Station. It was quite long to wait for the car but at 14:20 we arrived Gambir Station.

We had time to had lunch and did the prayer. We had our lunch at Bakmi Gajahmada Counter. We had to wait for a while to get our seats. I used the time to print our boarding passes. Then, we went to the first floor to do our prayer. At 15:30 we got on board. We were on coach #8 seat 7A (Nuri), 7B (me), and 7C (Asri). The Sindoro Train departed on time at 16:15. Being a Marriage Witness

It is Saturday. We had breakfast in the guesthouse. Priyono and Amir came and joined the breakfast. At 08:30 we left the guesthouse for Jembar Venue. We were in 3 cars. I, along with Lik Santo and Adi were in Lik Santo's car. In Mahardi's car there were Mahardi, Ernawati, Nuri and Asri. Priyono, Amir, Fitriani, and Lia were in Priyono's car.

This is the procession and party of the marriage of Gilang Adipratama. He married to Frieska Febrina. We, the groom and the bride's relatives (I, Nuri, Adi, Lik Santo, Priyono, Amir, Mahardi, Erna, Delfta, Firda, Asri, Fitri, Lia, Bulik Meti, Cesari, her husband, Fiona, Malik, bibik, Bik Neng) attended the session. The procession was managed under sharia law. I became one of 2 marriage withnesses. The other withness was Gatot Tri Margono. At 10:00 a registrar from North Bogor Sharia Office came and the procession began. Her father, Sumardi Pristo, declared the marriage and Gilang acknowledged it. I and Gatot stated that the procession was valid. Then the registrar put the marriage in the registration book. Marriage was done. A light banque was provided following the procession.

In the afternoon at 13:00 we were in the same place to join the wedding party. Relatives and acquaintances joined it. Sri, Maryono, Pris, her husband, her sons, Siswanto, Martialis, Dwi, and Hesti also showed up.

Going to Bogor

It is Friday. I went to Bogor. At 04:00 went to Jatinegara Station by a Gojek car to fetch Nuri, Asri, Fitri, and Aulia. They were in the Argo Bromo Anggrek on the way to Jatinegara Station. I arrived at about 04:45. They arrived at 05:40. We then did our prayer in the musala. I had tickets to Bogor for us that I bought just I arrived at the station. A ticket priced Rp16.000 consisted of Rp6.000 for the trip and Rp10.000 for the card deposit.

At about 06:10 we were on board of A commuter train going to Jakarta Kota. At Manggarai we got off and then got in a commuter train going to Bogor. We departed at 06:30. I had no seat because the coach was full. There were many civil servants in their uniform ready for a ceremony. It was an independence day ceremony. At Lenteng Agung Station I got the seat. At about 07:45 we arrived at Bogor station and got off.

We went to a kiosk gathering near the exit gate to have breakfast. The by a Grab car we went to Cozzy Kostel. The car costed Rp18.000. Going to Jakarta

It is Sunday. In the morning after dawn praying I walked along Jalan Sudirman and Jalan Bojongsalaman. planned to top up my e-moneys but I realized I did not bring the cards with me. After having rest at home I washed my clothes. During hanging them for drying Anindya and Dastan came by to pass mendoan.

After having showering I went to a Mandiri ATM for topping up my e-moneys. Then, I went to Germany Watch Shop to fit my wrist watch. The technician was absen the keeper suggested me to come again tomorrow. The last stop was an electrical accessories where I bought 2 3—way extention sockets.

Before dhuhur time I started to iron my clothes. I left some clothes behind and asked Nuri to do them.

At 17:00 I ordered a Gojek car to bring me to the airport. I would go to Jakarta. My flight was Lion Air JT0515 scheduled to depart at 18:35. At 17:25 I finished the checking in step and was in the waiting room. My seat was 32C. As usual, our flight was delayed. At about 19:40 we took off. At we landed. It is Saturday. I still felt tired. Nuri made tofu and sprout stir fry for our breakfast. The day was hot and dry. Before dhuhur time Anindya, Dastan, Aishalina (Ailin), Bagus and Bibik came by. They would visited their home. Dastan wanted to make me coffee but I had had it.

Going Back to Semarang

It is Friday. I woke up late so I lost my dawn prayer. The organizer provided rice, vegetables with coconut dressing, and fish head javanese curry. Coffee and tea were also available. We had them during our morning chatting.

At 09:00 we checked out. Harijati gave me a ride along with Kusumastuti and Noeri. We went to Kampung Tidar to start hiking to Tidar Peak. I in a group consisting of Sutrisni, Edi Prijono, Eddi Poernomo, Bambang Triatmodjo, Lukito, Sutrisni, Suramin, Agustina, Haryati, and Oscar hiked to the peak along a stone paved track. Acknowleding our oldness we walked slowly to the top. I brought my camera with me but it run out the battery power when we were reaching the middle of the track. At about 10:00 we reached the top. There was a big pole there to wave a flag. There was also a grave of a sacred person. After having selfie we walked down the hill. Rini and Sinta joined us. I joined Harijati, Kusumastuti, and Noeri at the parking area. We met Risnawati, Sigit, Dwi Susanto, and their freinds there.

We left the parking area to courtesy visit to our schoolmates' mothers. The first visit was to Sinta's mother in Mertoyudan area. She was ill because of traffic accident. The second visit was to Eddi's mother in Villa Gading Mas housing. She was healty and she welcomed us.

At 12:00 I joined Friday Prayer at Masjid Sabil ul Mutaqin. The 3 ladies was still in the car waiting for me. Then, we had lunch at Bu Atmo kiosk close to Karesidenan area.

After lunch we left Magelang for Semarang. I was the driver. Kusumastuti got off at her house in Ungaran. Nuri did at her house in Tembalang. At 15:45 I arrived at home.

Reunion

It is Thursday. In the morning the organizer provided breakfast consisted of lesah soup, etc.

At 09:00 we left the guesthouse to walk along town gutter. The gutter was built during Dutch colonial era to train flushing water for the town. We started from Tuguran to Pentiperi. The town autority had added the gutter with a pathway and selfie spots. It became one of Magelang points of interest.

At about 10:30 we visited our former secondary school, SMPN1 (State Secondary School 1). We found that some spot had been changed but the main building was generally still unchanged. We were welcomed by the principle and some teachers. At about 11:30 we went back to the guest house to have lunch.

In the afternoon we went to some spot by bus. We traced the west part of Magelang, then, to Pisangan Swimming Pool, Candimulya, Blabak, and Panca Arga. In Panca Arga I, Oscar, Suhariyanto, and Sinta Riana visited houses used to be our homes.

Going to Magelang

It is Wednesday. I came to the office at 08:45 when the office was still empty. I had banana for my breakfast.

This day was my birthday. Colleagues and my school mates sent me their wishes. Fortunately, none of my civil engineering classmates was aware about it. So, I did not have to reply abundant of their wishes 😊. At noon I asked Atini and Anwar for having lunch at Sederhana Resto on my expense. I assumed it as my birthday lunch.

At 16:00 I asked permission to be back to the guesthouse. After having showering at about 16:15 I went to the Halim Perdanakusuma Airport by a Gojek car. A kilometer before the airport I found traffic jam. I got off and walked to the airport while seeked for a bike. About 500m from the airport I got a bike that brought me close to the terminal building. At 17:30 I arrived at the terminal building. In a hurry I checked in. My flight was Batik Air ID7541 scheduled to depart at 18:15 and arrive at 19:30. My seat was 15D. The clerk told me to be on board soon. There was a late call for me to board.

The flight was in frount the schedule. At 19:15 we landed at Adisutjipto Airport of Jogjakarta. I went to the Damri Pool and did prayer. The upcoming Damri bus to Magelang would depart at 20:00. The tariff was Rp50.000.

At 20:00 a Damri minibus brought me to Magelang. The minibus arrived Hotel Wisata Magelang at 21:15. A Gojek car brought me to Guntur Geni Guesthouse where I was supposed to be overnight. I just put my bag then came to Anggini Guesthouse where interoducing session was taking place. I socialized with other participants of the secondary school reunion. It is Tuesday. I arrived at Jatinegara Station at 04:47. By a Gojek car I got at the guesthouse at 05:36. I had time to do dawn prayer. I then continued sleeping.

I had breakfast at Satuhati warung tegal. At 09:30 I arrived at the office. Benny, Priyonggo, Anwar, and Panggih were in.

I worked to implement the findings during site visit in documents and drawings. I also reported them to Benny. Benny told the assignment would be terminated the end of the month. It would be continued with escorting period.

Going to Jakarta

It was Monday. At 01:24 the train arrived at Tawang Station. I got off here. Nuri and Rahutama picked me up. At about 01:45 I arrived at home. I had dinner and then slept.

At 07:30 I woke up. I washed my clothes. Nuri helped me to dry them under sunshine.

At 09:45 I and Nuri went out to do some matters. We dropped Rahutama at Terminal Bus Banyumanik. He would go to Singaraja. Nuri gave him brownies for his colleagues. Then, she dropped me at Bank Jateng Unnes. She continued to picked up Dastan from his kindergarten. I withdrew my pension salary. Nuri and Dastan picked me up and we went to Dastan's house. We dropped him there. I met Aishalina for a while. We continued to go to Tawang Station where I bought my Argo Bromo ticket for this night. The next destination was a coffee shop where I bought V60 paper filter. The last stop was Bank BNI Gang Pinggir where I deposited money. At 14:20 we arrived at home. After praying ashr I got slept.

By a Gojek car I went to Tawang Station at 22:30. I had enough time to print the boarding pass and to wait for the train. My train was Argo Bromo Anggrek scheduled to leave at 23:30. Going Back to Semarang

It is Sunday. We went back to Indonesia. In the morning at 06:30 local time we left the hotel bu Grab cars. There were 3 cars: a 6 passanger car and 2 cars of 4 passangers. The costs were RM42 for 6 passangers car and RM23 for 4 passangers car. In about 45 minutes we arrived at the airport. We had breakfast in KFC counter while waited for the check in time. I, Johny, and Tri Heryanto had various fruit for the breakfast.

At 08:00 we checked in and at 08:30 were in the waiting room for Gate B1. Our flight was MH1143, PEN - KUL, scheduled to board at 08:55. I got seat 19B. At 10:42 there was a call for boarding. About 25 minutes later our Malaysia Airlines Boeing 737-800 took off for Kuala Lumpur. The flight was smooth, at 11:40 we landed at the KLIA.

After disembarking we passed the immigration desk to show our passport. Our next flight was MH0721, KUL - CGK scheduled to board at 13:00. I got 9A. We waited at Gate C8. We boarded at 13:30 and about 30 minutes later our Boeing 380-800 took off from KLIA. Before taking off I found that my next flight would be departing from Halim Perdanakusuma. I estimated I would not have time to ketch up the flight so I cancelled it. I would get cash back 50% of the ticket price or Rp292.000.

It was smooth flight so at 15:05 Indonesia time we landed at Soekarno Hatta Airport. We passed the immigration and custom desks. Risnawati gave me a ride. Beside her in a small car there were me, his husband (as the driver), her, Kanti, Heni, and Anna. We arrived at Gambir Station at 16:45. I and Heni got off there. We separated, she went to the waiting room and I took queue for a ticket. I got Sembrani Train at Rp292.000.

I did my dhuhur and ashr prayers at the masjid. I came to the Bakmi GM to have early dinner. Before embarking I did my maghrib and isha prayers at the musala. At the platform 3 I met Naro and Sri. They would go back to Semarang along with their family.

At 19:15 the train departed for Semarang. I was in coach 5 seat 9C. I soon got slept. I woke up for a while when the train reaching Cirebon and Pekalongan. Lanjutannya...

At about 10:00 we started to go around exploring the town. Our driver was Xie Wen Cai. He was also our guide. We went to Upside Down Museum to have some weird pictures of us. Admission was RM27. We stepped in many rooms one by one. In each room we made pictures. The museum crew help us to direct our position and to operate our camera. It was about 1 hour we spent time here.

The next Madu, Coklat, batik. Next destination was a place where 3 workshop took place. a batik workshop

We had lunch in Hainan Town Restorant. Several dishes were provided. They all tasty. We made pictures of us after having lunch at spots around the resto.

We then went to retailer shop named Tropiks Enterprises to buy specific Penang goods. I bought spices. The nextby place was Chocolate & Coffee Museum. We went there just to see the goods.

The last destination was Komtar (Kompleks Tun Abdul Razak) where some of us (I, Yudiaryani, Adiati, Anna, Risnawati, Triheryanto and Yuli) went up to the Top. The admission fee was RM45, it was fee for senior. We went to the floor 65 and change another lift to floor 68. It was the top of the building.

Going Around

It is Friday. At 09:00 we walked out seeking breakfast. At a foodcourt on Jalan Macalester we found Indonesia food counter. Some of us had nasi pecel for the breakfast.

After having breakfast we went to Penang Hill. Our group was added with Edi Pramono and his wife Trie Yuliana Suganda. The admission fee was RM27. Our car parked on the parkir area in front of the entrance. A rail wagon brought to the peak of 700m above sea level.

After leaving the hill I was dropped at Masjid Jamik Al Qadrie Ayer Itam to join Friday Prayer. The masjid was modest but airconditioned. The jamaah were mostly from the Melayu etnic group and the others seemed Indian, Pakistani, or Arabic descendants. After finishing the prayer there were several jamaah distributing various snacks for their amal saleh (charity).

We then had lunch Oriental Seafood. They provided good food. For drinking, I ordered young coconut and plain tea. Their young coconuts were served nicely. They were shaped at a way so the customer could easily drink the water and pick the young coconut curd inside. The seafood dishes were also ok,

Going to Penang

It is Thursday. I went to the Terminal 1A arrival at 00:45. At about 01:30 Anna showed up. The raillink train that connecting terminals had been stopped. The shuttle bus came few. So, by a Gojek car of Rp52.000 we went to the Terminal 3C where other members were waiting for us. They were Kanti, Yudiaryani, Heni, Adiati, Arijani, Risnawati, Johny, and Tri Heryanto.

Our flight was MH726 scheduled to depart at 04:25 and arrive at 07:25. At 02:00 we expected to check in but the counter office told the flight was cancelled due to the lack of the plane. A heavy rain had dropped in the night forced the plane to land at Surabaya.

We were transferred to Garuda GA820 scheduled to depart at 08:35 and arrive at 11:50. So, we had to wait for the Garuda check in counter opening at 05:00. I used the time to sleep on the floor. I was so sleepy.

After checking in we went to the waiting room at Gate 9. We passed the boarding pass check and immigration desk smoothly. I did my subuh prayer in the musala. We had chicken porridge and coffee at Droptoast counter. I then slept again.

At about 08:45 we boarded. I was on seat 43I. At about 09:00 the plane took off. The pilot told the flight time was 1 hour 40 minutes. The flight was smooth. We landed at Kuala Lumpur Internasional Airport 11:50.

Going to Jakarta

It is Wednesday. After breakfast we went to the office of BWSK3 to fetch the team. Team consisted of Rustiani, Dar, and Deni. It was about 10:30 went we left the office area for Kilometerage 38. We found raining along the way there.

At about 13:00 we arrived at Pondok Gong Cross Drain. It was about Station 21+000. The rain was more heavy but I had to be out to explain the situation. So, I put my hoodie on. We found that the river alignment had been filled with soil.

Before continuing to the next site we dropped by at a resto nearby. We had lunch there.

At about 14:00 we were at Sakakanan cross drain. A bridge was under construction. We found the rain had stopped but the ground was still wet and slipery. So, we still in limited to explore the site situation.

At about 14:30 we were in the Wika Project office to give back the safety unit and managed a discussion about our visit. I asked Arin and Isvan to help us making construction description. Finally, we dismissed.

Priyonggo accompanied the team going back to Samarinda. I, Pranoto, and Edo went to Balikpapan. At 16:00 I and Pranoto checked in at Zurich Hotel room 510.

At 18:45 I left the hotel for the airport by a Gojek car. I directly checked in and got seat 29D. My flight was Batik ID6225 scheduled to depart at 20:00 and arrived Jakarta at 21:10. I found that the plane took off at 19:45 and landed at 20:50. We arrived earlier. I was still in the terminal building to wait for Anna which scheduled to arrive at 23:35. Lanjutannya...
