Going to Salaman

It is Sunday. I and Nuri went to Salaman. We left the house at about 07:30. We stopped by at Ungaran rest area for having breakfast. We had soto ayam. Then we stopped by at Lezat Snack Shop for getting various snacks. At about 12:30 we arrived at the big family house.

The family would management Ruwahan Session, a thankgiving benediction led by an Islamic scholar, at 17:00. Relatives were busy to prepared it. There were Adi, Kanti, Dita, Nimas, Esti, Tari, Tika, Mahardi, Asri, Peni, Lik Muth, Utari, Mansur, etc. I could not join them at last because I felt terrible. I was lying on bed for recovering. The session was happening successfully.

It is Thursday. I met Pranoto in the office. I joined a progress meeting there. The attendants were Benny, Priyonggo, Pranoto, Basa, Usodo, Danu, etc.

At 14:00 I, Pranoto, Priyonggo, Dery, and Danu were at Public Works Ministry Toll Road Ruler Board to join a consultative meeting to Estu. He is the drainage expert representing the Board. We were there till 14:00 and received several notifications.

We dismissed. Priyonggo and Dery went back home, Danu left, and I and Pranoto checked in Hotel Melawai II, room 515. The hotel was old and needed renovation. At 19:30 we went to Berkah Fried Chicken to have dinner.

Visiting of Condolence

It is Wednesday. In the morning at 02:53 Taufik posted on Siantuma WA Group Wall a news that Hediyanto, our colleague of Class 1975 Civil Engineering Itb, had passed away at 01:45. Later, one by one, the colleagues expressed their grief on the wall.

At 08:30 I went to the office. I stopped by at Satuhati warung tegal for breakfast. At 09:00 I arrived at the office. I worked till 09:45 then I ordered a taxi.

I went to the mourning house at Villa Indah VII E-23, Tanah Kusir area. I picked up Benny that waited for me around Taman Mini. At about 11:15 we arrived at the venue. We paid our condolence to Hediyanto's wife then we joined a crowd of colleagues. They are Robert, Hermanto, Iwan, Fauzi, Zulkifli, Firdaus, Mudjiadi, Dony, Saut. I also met my seniors such as Sugimin, Junius, and Hendrianto. It was showering so we were still under the tent chatting while waiting for clear. At about 12:30 I, Benny, and Karjadi left the venue. We went to a gas station nearby for urinating, praying, and fueling. Then, we went to Nasi Timbel M Djojo Resto for having lunch. The dishes were tasty, the venue was clean and cozy. We talked about a project.

After having there for about 45 minutes we dismissed. I ordered a Grab to bring me back to the office. Benny were with me going to get off at Taman Mini area. At about 15:30 I arrived at the office.

Being in the Office

It is Monday. At 04:55 I arrived at Jatinegara Station. I ordered a Gojek car to bring me to the guesthouse. Its tariff was Rp55.000. It was showering when I got in and off the car. I arrived at the guesthouse at 05:40.

Bambang was not in. He usually does not go anywhere. Wahyudi was in. I thought this morning only I and him were in the guesthouse.

I went to the office in a showering situation at 10:00. I had breakfast at Satuhati warung tegal. Then, I got in a public transpot to bring me to the office. When I arrived at the office Benny, Anwar, and Panggih were in. Priyonggo and Atina were absent.

I fixed my report as asked by Estu. I made coordination to Anwar, Pranoto, Dery, and I'i. I expected I might bring some papers to him.

It is Sunday. I washed my clothes in the morning. The day was cloudy but then it turned to be clear. My clothes was dried in the afternoon.

At 10:30 I went to Candi Golf Club to joined a wedding party. It was managed by Bambang Dwi to celebrate the marriage of his daughter Vidya Anjanie. She married Agus Isnaien. I met Bharoto, Widodo, Bud Rahardjo, and Bambang Pudjo. They were with their wives.

In the afternoon I ironed piles of my clothes. It was so tiring.

It is Saturday. We good breakfast in the hotel. I only consultative papaya fruit, vegetables salad, and soto soup. At 09:00 we checked out from the hotel. I paid off the check of Rp490.100 using my Citibank Master Card. It was the first time I used my new replaced card. Before leaving I and Nuri took several photo shoots of us.

Going to Surakarta

It is Friday. The Loving-8 Friday-6 (Jumat Kliwon 14). I joined qigong session in temple hall in the morning. The attendants were 12 people. We practiced chenqi and first half part of xingshen zhuang.

At about 09:00 I went to Bu Lin kiosk to have breakfast. I consumed a mangut dish. It is my favorite one. On the way home I stopped by at Bank BNI Karangayu to get money and PFU Menyanan to refuel the car.

At 10:15 I accompanied Nuri to pick up Dastan from his playgroup then brought him to his house. We found Ailin was sleeping so we could not play with her. We went to Tawang Station to buy ticket Bangunkarta Coaches. I got it at Rp398.000. Because it was the time, joined Friday Prayer at Masjid Istiqamah in the station area.

As planned, we went to Surakarta at 16:15. The day was relatively clear. We as usual traced the toll road from Jatingaleh to Salatiga.

Our first stop was Bandeng Segar Mbak Mar Stall where we had dinner. We enjoyable fried chicken, fried milk fish, and stinky beans. We arrived there at 19:15.

The second stop was Solo Grand Mall where Nuri shopped a hijab. We also got in Hypermart on the basement to buy snacks.

Going Back to Semarang

It is Thursday. I went to the office at 08:15. I needed to arrived there earlier than the time I usually do because I would joined other colleagues going to PT Jasa Marga Office for a meeting. In our office I met Anwar and he gave me ride to the meeting place.

The meeting was a beauty contest of consultant firms to compete for getting design works for Probolinggo Banyuwangi Toll Road Project. The project has 3 packages of design work, they are Package 1, Package 2, and Package 3. Our firm, PT Disiplan Consult has intention to get the last 2 packages so, 2 teams of the firm presented their ideas and prepareness to execute the works. I and Anwar were members of the team for Package 3. The other members joined the meeting were Solichul Hadi, Utayanto, Priyonggo, Sukatja, Wahyudi, etc. Lilik Sugiyono was assigned to deliver our presentation. The meeting was led by the project procurement team chairman, Eko. Saut, a senior officer, acted as a resource person from the office, enquired many points of the intending firm.

At about 12:00 the meeting concluded and we dismissed. I, Atina, and Anwar went to a Sederhana resto in Ceger area to have lunch. I had ayam pop on the dish. I found it was tasty. I almost consumed all rice provided. I was thankful to Anwar who paid all. At 13:15 by a Gojek bike I left Anwar and Atina.

I went to Gambir Station passing though several stops. First, I got PGC busway stop. Then, a bus brought me to Pal Putih stop. Finally, I achived Gambir Station by a Gojek bike.

I got an Argo Sindoro ticket at Rpp248.000. My coach was Eks-6 and seat 4A was mine. I still had time to do prayer and to have a coffee in a Dunkin Donut counter. At 15:50 I got in the coach and at 16:15 the train departed for Semarang. Lanjutannya...

Being in the Office

It is Wednesday. I went to the office at 10:00. I had words to meet Pranoto in the office and discuss the work with Benny. Pranoto and Benny had arrived at the office when I came, so the discussion then was managed. Benny agreed to provide an assistant for me and Pranoto would supply the guy.

I went back to the guesthouse after maghrib time. On the way I stopped by at a nasi uduk kiosk for having dinner. I consumed stinky beans to stimulasi my digestive system. I also stopped by at a laundry shop to pick up my clothes.

Going to Jakarta

It is Monday. In the morning I joined qigong in the temple hall. The participants were 13 people. We practiced chenqi, laqi, and pengqi guanding.

At about 11:00 I went to the Bank BNI, BCA, and Mandiri on Jalan Pandanaran to print my bank books. I found that Mandiri Bank had moved to the office beside Hotel Pandanaran.

Later, I went to Mall Plaza Semarang for window shopping. I bought a pant and handkerchiefs. I also tasted green bean porridge on the ground floor.

In the afternoon I worked on my computer to manage my folders and files. The day was so hot and humid. Nuri was laying on bed to get colder condition.

Rahutama Coming

It is Sunday. In the morning at 02:00 I and Nuri went to Daytrans Travel Pool to pick up Rahutama. He came from Jogja. He had experienced long distance trip tracing Banyuwangi, Surabaya, and Jogja.

At midday Anindya came. She just completed her today assignment. She would check her under construction house.

In the evening after isha time I, Nuri, and Rahutama went to Basilia Kitchen to meet Anindya and Dastan but they did not show up. They had come back to their house. So, we went there.

It is Saturday. In the morning I washed my clothes and dryed them. The day was supporting so they were dryed in the afternoon. Then, I ironed them. At 11:00 I and Nuri joined a bride and groom reception. Kuswari and family welcomed their son's parents in law along with their family and the bride and groom. All the neighbors also joined at this welcoming event.

In the afternoon after ironing I mopped the floor. We expected the coming of Ailin and Dastan. As a matter of fact, they did not show up.

It is Thursday. I went to the office at 08:15. It was earlier than the time I usually do because I would go to BPJT along with Priyonggo and Deri. At 08:45 we went there by a Grab car. Estu Bina Marga Building 3rd floor Famili warung padang

By a Gojek bike I went to Gambir Station. I found traffic jams so it took 45 minutes to get there, it was 14:45. I had a chance to get a Bangunkarta ticket but I thought departing at 15:00 was risky. So, I bought an Argo Sindoro ticket, it was the next departing train.

The ticket price was Rp310.000. As a senior person I got a discount of 20%. I only spent Rp248.000.

I boarded at 15:45. My coach was Eks-7 and I had seat number 2D. The train departed on time, 16:15. The trip was quite smooth. At 22:11 the train arrived at Tawang Station and I got off. Nuri picked me up for home. about 22:45 I arrived at home. Lanjutannya...

It is Wednesday. I went to the office at 08:30. I stopped by at Satuhati warung tegal. At 09:00 I arrived at the office.

Atina, Citrosono, and Panggih were in. Later, Priyonggo, Anwar, Supardji, and Amor came. Benny came in the afternoon. The spirit of work seemed going down. Some of us were terminated today. Citroseno, Supardji, and Amor said good bye to us. I still continued working to duplicate drainage report. Report and drawing would be delivered to BPJT tomorrow.

Gathering

It is Tuesday. I had breakfast at Satuhati warung tegal. By 10:00 I arrived at the office. I made coordination to other colleagues. At 11:30 I left the office for Gandhi's house to join a gathering.

The gathering of Class 69 Magelang First State Secondary School was managed in Gandhi's house in Pejaten. When I arrived there several schoolmates were there. They were Asiwardi Gandhi (the host), Djoko Rahardjo, Dyah Kusnaniah, Roosmariani, Oscar Harimawan, Cendy Prapto Triyanto, Nuryati Laksmi, Suharyanto, Triana Indah Lestari (and spouse, Achmad Sufianto), Widati, Dwi Kartikarini, Savitri Fajarwati, Suliyanti Purwaningsih, and Hesti Retnaningsih. The others arriving later were Hera Pratiwi and Hadiwibowo. Gandhi and wife had entertained us with spacious room and nice environment for chats and various dishes for lunch. Some of us also brought here any kinds of snacks. Frankly, I was so happy being there and I was so thankful to Gandhi and the attendants.

At about ashar time I asked Gandhi for leaving. I ordered a Gojek bike to bring me to the office. At about 16:30 I arrived at the office.

Going to Jakarta

It is Monday. At 01:30 I woke up and prepared myself to go. At 02:15 Nuri dropped me at Tawang Station. I would go to Jakarta by Additional Sembrani Coaches that would be departing at 03:12. Later, there was an announcement the train was delayed to depart. It would come at 05:40. I had to wait for it almost 3 hours.

The train arrived at 05:40, I boarded, and at 06:15 it left the station for Jakarta. A quarter ago the Argo Sindoro had left for the same destination. I was in coach Eks-4 seat 6A.

The trip was smooth. I was sleeping almost along the trip. I had no one beside my seat so I was unimpeded to lay my body. I woke up when the train passing Cikampek. At about 12:15 I got off at Jatinegara Station. A Grab car brought me to the office.

The office was relatively empty. Benny had just left. Anwar was in. Priyonggo arrive in the afternoon. I made a brief chat to them. After maghrib time I went to the guesthouse. Joining a Wedding Party

It is Sunday. In the morning I washed my clothes and dried it. The day seemed unpromising but the sun then showed up almost all day.

At 08:30 I and Nuri went to a house on Jalan Menoreh Tengah XI to join a wedding party. It was a party to celebrate the marriage of Puji (the true name is Sukma Kusfriniarto) and Wismaya Ade Gusvitasari. Pak Sudiono and wife came in the same time. We had a simple but nice banquet. Our other neighbor had came earlier. When they went back to their homes we also did.

At 11:00 I and Nuri went to the Tawang Station to get a ticket to Jakarta. Argo Anggrek or Bangunkarto ticket for tonight had been sold. So, I bought an Additional Sembrani ticket for tomorrow morning 03:12. The tariff after 20% discount was Rp296.000.

Going Back to Semarang

It is Saturday. I woke up at 04:00. At 04:30 I and Anwar were ready to leave. After checking out of the hotel we went to the airport. A Gojek car of Rp30.000 brought us there. I directly went to Lion check in booth. The booth was at D row. Previously, it was at C row.

I then went to the Gate 8 waiting room. I waited for Dawn Prayer Time. When it came I did the prayer in the mushala nearby. After praying I had coffee and baked bread at a counter near Gate 3. At 06:00 we were asked to board through Gate 3. My flight was JT625 and I was on seat number 31F. The flight was on time, at 06:40 my Lionair Boeing 737-800 took off from SAMS Airport of Balikpapan.

At 07:10 the plane landed on Ahmad Yani Airport of Semarang. I was in the airport toilet for a while. At 07:30 Nuri picked me up for home.

This morning Martono, my highschool mate, passed a way at Borromeus Hospital, Bandung. Adiati at 10:44 posted the news on batch 1974 highschool whatsapp group. Martono had been several months suffering of lymphoma.

In the evening I and Nuri went to Kuswari's house to join a party. It was like a welcome party for guests that would cheer Puji, Kuswari's son. He would married tomorrow morning. Lanjutannya...

Meeting

It is Friday. In the morning it was cloudy. It then turned rainy, alternatif along the day. We had breakfast in the hotel. The foods were various. I enjoyed them.

At 08:00 local time I and Anwar went to the Wika Office at Kilometerage 38 to join a meeting. We rent a passenger car at Rp600.000 a day. Yoyok was the driver. We arrived at the place at 08:45.

At 09:15 the meeting was organized at PT JBS room started chaired by Usodo. The other participants were Danubroto of PT JBS, Hariadi, Yusdi, and Arya from DPU Kaltim, Taufik, Dody, and Irwansyah from CM consultant. The meeting was discussing the toll road cross drain at Pondok Gong River. The meeting came to a summary that the cross drain point was at STA 20+950 in PT JBS area, instead of STA 20+900 in DPU Kaltim area. The meeting also summarized that the cross drain form was a bridge of 30m span. Before praying time we dismissed.

I joined the Friday prayer in Masjid Jabal Makmur in the office area. I also had lunch in the dining room of the office.

At about 13:30 we left the office for Balikpapan. We stopped by at Hoax Coffee and Relax to have a break and to wait for a hotel voucher. At about 16:30 we checked in Nuansa Indah Hotel room number 215.

Surveying

It is Thursday. We had breakfast in the hotel. At 08:00 we checked out of the Hotel Grand Sawit. We rent a four wheel drive car, Mitsubishi Pajero at Rp1.700.000 a day. Arif was the driver. We went to project site, Section 3. I agreed to meet Hanif at STA 66+800 but we met at about STA 62+000. We inspected the constructed cross drain. We stopped by at the Section 3 office and I borrowed safety sets. We then continued to inspect the cross drain till we arrived at the Section 2.2 Office.

We had a break for a while. We also had lunch and prayed. Hanif wrote the inspection summary. I signed on it.

At about 13:30 I and Anwar continued to inspect Section 2.2. Ridwan and Reza accompanied us. We successfully to reach STA 40+500. Then, we dismissed. Ridwan agreed to write an inspection summary.

Joint Surveying

It is Wednesday. In the morning at 02:00 I arrived at Grand Sawit. I joined Anwar in room 204. I got slept after a brief talking with Anwar. At 06:00 I got up, dawn prayed, and went to the dining room for breakfast.

At 08:00 I and Anwar went to the office of East Kalimantan Public Works Agency. I met Kustiani and Deni to pick up hydrology data. A guy then gave me the data. I had to sign a questionair.

Still in the office I met Hariadi, the project manager of Balikpapan Samarinda Toll Road Section 5. We discussed about the Pondok Gong River.

Then, we went to survey in the Section 4. We meet Khoirul, the contractor officer and Ahmad Yani, the supervising consultant in the Section 4 Office. We went to STA 1+275 to see the downstream of a cross drain. At the point we found the downstream had ruined farmer land so the project should relocate the outlet to the origin point.

Because we still had time we came to STA 66+800 to see a box culvert point. The cross drain was suspected not adequate. We agreed to provide double cells. Hanif from Section 3 and Anggiat from Palaran Interchange Section joined at this point.

We then went to the area of the interchange. We tried to identify the downstream of Airputih River. We agreed to widen the stream.

On the way back to the hotel we stopped by at the office. We made a minute of the survey. I noticed there were guests coming. They were officers of Road Authority (Ditjen Bina Marga). They were scheduled having meeting today.

Going to Balikpapan

It is Tuesday. In the morning at 05:00 the train arrived at the Jatinegara Station. I got off there. A Gojek car then brought me to the guesthouse. I still had time to do down prayer. After a bring talking with Bambang I slept.

I found Satuhati warung tegal closed. So, I went back to the guesthouse. I took my clothes from the laundry shop. The worker added the cost, she said my blanket has special cost, Rp12.000.000 each. I also asked Hasan to bring the snacks I brought from Semarang to the office. I walked to the office. I had breakfast at a soto soup kiosk.

In the office I met Benny and talked for a while about the progress. I also met Priyonggo and discussed about the Pondok Gong River.

At 14:30 I went back to the guesthouse to prepared myself for a trip. At 15:15 a Gojek bike brought me to Kampung Rambutan Terminal. Then a Damri Airport bus brought me to the airport. At 17:15 arrived at the Terminal 3 Cengkareng airport. I checked in using a machine getting seat 28J. My flight was GA576 so I should wait at Gate 17. My plane Boeing 737-800 took off on time. Going to Jakarta

It is Monday. In the morning I joined qigong in the temple hall. The participants were about 8 people. We practiced chenqi, laqi, and pengqi guanding. Before dismissing we had discussion concerning our motions.

After having broccoli and petatoes I and Nuri went to Tembalang. I intended to see Pranoto but he did not show up. We then went to the Bank Jateng Tembalang to withdraw my pension salary. I found my balance was about Rp5.700.000. It meaned I got my housing saving.

We then went to downtown area. We went Lamper area to visit Peranti Shop to by a rice cooker. We also went to the Lunpia Kampungbaris kiosk to buy some lunpias. The price was Rp14.000 each.

After arriving at home at 14.00 I alone went to Warung Senggol to have lunch. However, I could not get a parkir space. So, I went back home. At 15.00 I went there again by a Gojek bike. I had mangut dish for my lunch there,

At 19:00 I bought a box wingko babats at Bandeng Juwana shop. The snacks were for my colleagues in Jakarta.

At 19:30 I joined gathering in Mama Coffee Shop. I, Zaenal, Pranoto, and Suprapto were gathering for having a talk. At 21:30 we dismissed. We went home in a heavy rain situation.

At 22:30 Nuri dropped me at Tawang Station. It was still raining. At 23:20 I boarded at coach Eks-6 seat 11D. The train, Argo Bromo Anggrek, departed on time 23:30. Lanjutannya...

Visiting the Land

It is Sunday. In the morning I washed my clothes and hanged them on the back yard for drying. Nuri cleaned the house because we expected guests. The guests, Bena and his youngest son, came at about 09:30.

We had words to visit my land in Kradenan Sekaran area. We found difficulty to identify it because we could not find the land watcher, Nurseto. After Nuri joining us we found his house. We asked his help to point my land. We find it. Bena would help to make the land marketable. Bena also keep Nurseto's cellular phone number.

After having lunch I went to Tawang Station to get a ticket to Jakarta. The line was long enough but I found my turn came for about 30 minutes of waiting. I got an Argo Bromo ticket for tomorrow evening at Rp292.000.

In the evening I and Nuri went to Pempek Musi kiosk for having dinner. Then, we went to Anindya's house to pass pempek and tekwan. We met Dastan and Ailin. They were all happy.
