Going to Samarinda

It is Tuesday. In the morning at 05:10 the train arrived at Jatinegara Station. I had time to do dawn prayer in the praying room. At 05:30 I went to the busway stop to get a bus leading to Kampung Melayu Terminal. A bus leading to Kampung Rambutan brought me there. The bus traced the toll road so it arrived there quicker than usual one. I ordered a gojek bike to get me at the guesthouse by 07:00.

At 09:00 I went to the office. I turned on the computer, browsed, and made modification of the files.

At 11:00 I, Benny, and Roland left the office for the airport. Benny used his car to brought us there. The car was put on the overnight garage in the airport area. At 12:30 we checked in. Anwar joined us at the waiting room A10. At 14:30 we were called for boarding. I was at seat number 10E. At 15:15 the Lionair Boeing 737-900ER flight number JT 768 took off for Balikpapan. At 18:00 local time we landed at the Airport of Balikpapan.

We then ordered a taxi to bring us to Samarinda. It was a Toyota Avanza car. It costed Rp350.000. On the way we stopped by at the Upik Padangese Resto to have dinner. At 22:00 we arrived at the Amaris Hotel Samarinda for stay. I and Anwar got room number 122. Lanjutannya...

Going to Jakarta

It is Monday. In the morning I joined qigong in temple hall. The participants were about 10 people. We practiced chenqi, laqi, and pengqi guanding, I then went back home because I wanted to join a group to pay condolence to the family of .

After showering I went to the house of mourning Tiong Hoa I Wan. About 100 people gathered there. I met Melani, Hwa Yung, etc. There were a procession to handle the corpse. A catholic priest led it. Some people were with him and the rest including me just watched it. At about 09:00 it concluded. We dismissed, I went back home. On the way I stopped by at BNI Bank Karangayu to change my bankbook. However, I cancelled it because it was too long to wait.

I then was with Nuri and Bu Kus to fetch Dastan from his group. We brought Dastan to his house in Bimasakti Housing. I did not meet Ailin because she was sleeping though then she woke up with angry.

After dhuhur time I went to the lab to meet Pranoto. I made a discussion with him and gave direction to Rahmawati. At about 15:00 I went back home. On the way I stopped by at Warung Senggol Bu Lin to have late lunch. Then, I went home to get Rahutama. I wanted him to drive me to the station. At the TAwang Station I got a ticket for Jakarta tonight.

Being at Home

It is Sunday. It was the day for washing clothes. About noon, Rahutama went to Jogja to move his study. He brought the car.

In the afternoon Asri came home. As usual she had discussion with Nuri.

In the evening we had the monthly neighborhood gathering. I went to the venue, Unggul's house, too early so I did not meet the members. Eventually, I went back home and absent from the gathering Lanjutannya...

Rahutama Passing First Level Examination

It is Saturday. In the morning at 06:00 Rahutama went to Bergas Ungaran to undergo the first phase civil servant examination. For a long time he had prepared himself to do it. I and Nuri were at home to support him spiritually. At about 10:00 he came back and told us he passed. We were so gratefull.

Dining Out

It is Friday. I needed to have a rest so after dawn praying I slept again. There was not any work to do in the morning.

After joining Friday prayer at Masjid Attaqwa I went to Sim-6 Kitchen Resto. I, Zaenal, and Hidayat had late lunch there. It was our monthly gathering. Another member, Pranoto, was absent. He was being in Manado to accompany Bambang seeing the Director to get approval on his drawings. The gathering was fun. We dismissed at 16:00.

In the evening at 20:00 I, Nuri, Anindya, and Rahutama had dinner in Tamparang Seafood Restaurant on Jalan Diponegoro. We ordered 4 dishes: hot sour fish soup, baked fish with soy souce topping, fried calamar, and fried fish eggs. I found that the dishes were tasty. I would entertain my colleagues here someday. Going Back to Semarang

It is Thursday. It is usually the day to go home since the ticket reaches the lowest price.

In the morning I socialized with Wahyudi and Mugiono. We had fruit and coffee on the ground floor of the guesthouse. We talked about everything terkatung to our work.

At 08:30 I went to the office. There had ben an employee there. I directly worked to recalculate the median drain. Priyonggo, Supardji, and Herry were in. Benny was not in.

At 13:30 I left the office for the airport. I ordered a Gojek bike to bring me to the Kampung Rambutan Terminal. At 14:00 a Damri bus departed and brought me to the airport. I checked in the flight number JT 514 during on the way there. My seat was 36C. At 15:45 I was in line to get the printed boarding pass and at 16:10 I was in the waiting room gate A14.

About 30 minutes later a guy announced that JT 514 was delayed till 18:50. It meaned that it was a minimum time delayed becaused this operator was well known of announcing multiple delayed.

At 18:50 we were called for boarding and at 19:20 our plane Lionair Boeing 737-900ER took off for Semarang. It was smooth so at 20:00 we landed on the Ahmad Yani Airport of Semarang. Rahutama picked up me home. Lanjutannya...

Walking

It is Wednesday. In the morning after dawn praying I walked tracing Jalan Malaka, passed kampung Jalan Nangka Growong, Gang Taufik, Jalan Kelapadua Wetan, and Jalan Cipayung. Bambang to leave to Manado. It took about 50 minutes. Before leaving the guesthouse I had pepaya fruit for my breakfast.

In the office I received Benny's message reminding me to recheck the median gutter flowrate analysis. A moment later Danu also sent me a similar message. So, this day I focussed to recheck my analysis. I put aside my first analysis based on an hour concentration time. Instead, I used the Kerby Kirpich formula. The results were similar.

Being in the Office

It is Tuesday. At 04:20 I got off at Jatinegara Station. I did dawn prayer there. Then, I went to the busway stop to get a bus leading to Kampung Melayu. I had to wait for opening the stop at 05:00 and for arriving the first bus at 05:40. At the Kampung Rambutan Terminal I got a Gojek bike to bring me to the guesthouse. At 07:00 I arrived there.

After sleeping for a while at 09:30 I went to the office. I joined to work. I gave directive to the draftmen.

At 11:00 I accompanied Benny to meet Johny at the Solo Kitchen in Matraman area. We found a traffic jam so we arrived there at about 12:30. We talked about project while we had lunch. I found the dish I had was ok. At about 14:00 we went back to the office. At 15:00 we arrived there.

I was in the office continuing my work. After isha praying I went back to the guesthouse. I took my clothes from a laundry then put them at the guesthouse. I went out again to by a new SIM card and fruit. Lanjutannya...

Going to Jakarta

It is Monday. In early morning Nuri and Rahutama woke up for early breakfast. They would be fasting today. Before noon Nuri went to the Social Security office (BPJS Kesehatan) to put requirements for new style membership card.

After dhuhur time I went to the lab to supervised report work. I met Pranoto there and discussed the energy dissipating structures. I went back home at 15:30.

After maghrib time I worked on analyzing the pavement structure of Morowali IMIP airport.

At 22:00 Rahutama dropped me at the Tawang Station. I would go to Jakarta. At 22:40 Bangunkarta Train brought me to Jakarta. It was on time. I was seated in the coach 7, seat 7D. Lanjutannya...

It is Sunday. I felt lazy for walking. At 11:00 under the sunshine I walked just along Jalan Puspanjolo Selatan. It just took 10 minutes.

It is Saturday. At 05:00 the train arrived at the Tawang Station. It was on time. After getting off I went to the Masjid Istiqamah in front of the station to do dawn praying.

A moment later Rahutama told me he was waiting for me on a street in front of the station area. picked me up. On the way home he told me he avoided parking fee.

Meeting

It is Friday. In the morning at 08:00 the Malabar train arrived at the Bandung Railway Station. It was on time. I checked out the station and had a cup of chicken porridge on the sidewalk in front of the station. It costed Rp16.000. Then, I ordered a Gojek car to bring me to the Hotel Aston Pasteur where I would join a meeting. The were Nico and his college in the meeting room, Kalingga 4. I borrowed his room, number 932, to let me having showering. At 09:00 I entered the meeting room.

Meeting just started. It was led by Basa. He was escorted by Nico that recorded the meeting. Their boss, Ketut, joined the meeting a half hour later. The other participants were from the designing consultant team (Benny Priyonggo, Kunta, Herry, Supardji, Citroseno, Atina, Fritz, Gugun), the investor team (Danu, Usodo, Bandung), the independent professional checkers (Made, Bigman), and the supervising consultant member (Irbinanto). There is also Muhrozi that hired by the investor to give the review.

The meeting was splitted into 2 session, before and after a long break for lunch and friday prayer. However, almost all of the time was used to discuss geotechnical matter. Fritz was the guy in charge to present it.

At 11:30 we were break for prayer and lunch. The hotel provided a Friday prayer service so we did not need to seek a masjid outside the hotel. The hotel also provided lunch meals and I enjoyed the tasty dishes.

At 15:00 I left the venue. The meeting was still running but it almost came to the end. I order a Gojek bike to bring me to ITB to meet Mahardi. It costed Rp5.000. In his room we discussed the design of Morowali IMIP airport. He served me a cup of expresso.

At 18:30 we left the campus to picked up Faris from his course. Then, we went to the Sambel Hejo Resto for dinner. The dropped me at the station at 19:40. I had time almost 2 hours before going to Semarang.

Reunion the Day 2

It is Wednesday. In the second day we went to Kalibiru Kulonprogo, Merapi Park in Kaliurang area and gathered in the hotel in the evening.

We left the hotel at 08:00. The temperature was still low so some of us wore jackets. We were mostly in a bus but the organizing team (Bambang, Gatot, and Minglok) rode their cars. We needed about 2 hours to reach Karangsari Pengasih where we changed the vehicles, 4WD general purpose cars. We needed 30 minutes more to get us in the Kalibiru National Park.

The park was mostly forest protecting the catchment area of Sermo Reservoir. The government had given a permission to the local people to participate in protecting the forest and exploiting its tourism potency. It was a hilly area as a result of limestone deposit.

Reunion

It is Wednesday. I, Tuti, Adiati, Tatibroto, Noeri, Heni, went to Jogja to join our high school reunion. Tatibroto with a rent Innova car picked me up at 08:00, then Tuti, Adiati (and her daughter), Heni (at Poncol Station), and Nuri. We left Semarang at 09:00.

Our trip was smooth. We stopped by at Tofu Pelopor, Blabak. Widjajanto and Sigit joined us at this place. We stopped by again at Kopi Klotok resto to drop Adiati's daughter. The owner, Adiati's younger son,welcomed us. He served us with snacks, drinks, and dishes. A moment later Johny and Rio joined us.

At about 15:00 we arrived at the venue, Akasa Hotel Kaliurang. The organizer provided varieties of snacks but we did not enjoy them because we were full.

The organizer gave me room number 107 sharing with Tono. The room was spacious but simple. It was equipped with a shower in the bathroom but no screen so splashes every where.

At 19:00 we gathered in the hall for having dinner and amusing activities such as chatting, dancing, singing, and taking pictures of ourselves. Going Out

It is Tuesday. In the morning at 10:00 I accompanied Nuri picking up Dastan from his play group. On the way home I oriented my Mandiri bankbook. I found Mandiri Pandanaran had moved from a point near Hotel Santika Premier to a point near Public Health Center. We cancelled our plan to go to banks of BCA and BNI to do the same because it had got noon.

We went JNE office on Jalan Kyai Saleh to know the progress of my complain. It was still outstanding. A guy in charge suggested me to come the head office on Jalan Kumudasmoro. We went there and a guy there named Edo could not give a guarantee that the package for me would be traced and found. I felt it was not a professional cargo firm. Lanjutannya...

Effective Day

It is Monday. I thought it was an effective day. There were 3 activities I conducted. They were joining qigong, seeing a doctor and coming to the hydrolab.

I went to the temple hall at 05:30 to join qigong. We started exercising at 06:05 by practicing chenqi. The followings were laqi and chenqi. It was supposed there would be a session again but I left.

I went to the Pandanaran Public Health Center (Pukemas) at 09:30. Nuri dropped me there. I had a turn number 116 but I got to see the doctor at 11:00. I felt there was something in my right ear that made me uncomfortable. The doctor prescribed a liquid to dilute the stuff. At 11:30 it concluded. I considered the center service was ok.

I went to the hydrolab at 13:00. I would meet the students to give directions. Unfortunately, they were absent. I went back home after writting them on the white board.

Today was very hot and humid. I frequently changed my clothes. The used clothes then were hanged for drying. I would wear again if I needed to change my clothes. When I went to the hydrolab the raining was happening. It was raining till evening made the temperature went down. Lanjutannya...

Being at Home

It is Sunday. It is the day for getting relaxed or having fun. I used this day for walking and making my clothes ready to use.

In the morning at 08:00 I walked along side walk of the west flood way perimeter. I started from Jalan Simongan then went down along Jalan Bojongsalaman. On arriving at Jalan Sudirman I turned right walking on the bridge and entering Jalan Basudewa. I walked up till the Lemahgempal Bridge. I walked on the bridge, entered Jalan Puspanjolo Selatan, and stepped up Gang Buto to arrive at home.

Just After arriving at home I washed my clothes. It was a hot and humid day. The good news was that the clothes dried quickly. The bad news I changed my shirt many times. Lanjutannya...

Dinner Out

It is Saturday. In the morning I walked till Balad Shop. I met Widodo at about the the shop. It is Nuri's birthday. In the morning I greeted her. We did not have a special plan to celebrate her birthday.

It is Dastan's birthday, too. His mother, Anindya, managed a special event. She and Bagus provided nasi tumpeng, transparent bags of various biskuit. They were distributed to Dastan' class mate.

At about 09:00 I went to PT JNE to put my complain because an item for me consisting my expertise certificate sent from the Hathi HQ at May 5th had never arrived. It appeared on the monitoring screen it was received by me at May 08th, 19:12. At that time, I was in Balikpapan.

Going Back to Semarang

It is Friday. The Sweet-5 Friday-6 (Jumat Legi 11). I woke up at 04:00. At 04:30 I was ready to go. I took a Gojek bike to bring me to the Kampung Rambutan Terminal. At 05:00 a Damri bus departed from the terminal for the airport. At 06:00 I got off the bus at the Terminal 1A. I had much time so I had a cup of coffee and a donat for my breakfast. I met Sudarsono when I was checking in. He was in another line. He would go back to Surakarta.

My flight was Lionair JT504 scheduled to depart at 08:00. At 07:45 we were asked for boarding. I was on seat number 37F. It was on time, at 08:00 the Lionair Boeing 737-900ER took off and at 08:50 landed on the airport of Semarang. Nuri picked me up for home.

After joining Friday prayer at the Masjid Attaqwa I accompanied Nuri going to Nissin factory outlet in Ungaran. We would take packages of biskuit for Dastan's birthday celebration. There were a resto attached to the outlet. We had drinks and dishes there. Lanjutannya...

Meeting

It is Thursday. I went to the office earlier than usual. I would join a meeting in the Hotel Santika TMII. In the office I met Pranoto and together we checked and upgraded our presentation matter. At 08:15 we went to hotel. Along with us were Supardji and Anto.

The meeting was organized by PT Wika to discuss the design work of Balikpapan Samarinda. We, the designing consultant team, led by Benny, presented our products. The audience, consisted of teams of PT Wika (the contractor - Ketut, Iwan, Basa, Nico, etc.), PT JBS (the investor - Bandung, Danu, and Usodo), and PT Eskapindo Espat (the supervising consultant - Irbi). Other audience members were a reviewer - Muhrodji, and the checkers (Pranoto, Bigman, and Made). The engineers (Priyonggo - co team leader, Citroseno - Highway, Fritz - Geotechnical, Kunta - Structural, Atina - Mechano Electrical, and Hari - Architectural), one by one, presented their works. The audience then gave their comments, suggestions, or clarifications. At 16:30 the meeting concluded. We dismissed. I and Supardji went back to the office.

I did my maghrib and isha prayers in the office. I became the imam with the followers Priyonggo, Supardji, Kris, and Harchandra. At 18:30 I went back to the guesthouse. Lanjutannya...

Being Busy

It is Wednesday. I arrived at the office at 09:30. Unusual, many colleagues had arrived. They were busy to compose matters for presentation. The presentation will be organized in the Santika Hotel tomorrow.

Benny was in. With him I exposed my matters to the audience of PT JBS officers. Everything was ok.

It is Tuesday. Pranoto arrived at the office early. I went there at 09:30. We then went to the Mabit Project consultant office to meet Bambang. They planned to meet the Director do I went back to the Balsam office.

Pranoto went back to the Balsam office later. He postponed the meeting. He put his initial on the drawings. At 13:45 he left the office for the airport.

Going to Jakarta

It is Monday. I went to Jakarta along with Pranoto. At 08:00 Rahutama dropped me at the airport. Pranoto had been there. We directly checked in. Our flight was Citilink QG-965, we were scheduled to board at 08:40 and depart at 09:10. We find that our plane Citilink Airbus 320-200 took off at 09:40 and landed on the Cengkareng Airport at 10:30. I was seated at 29D while Pranoto was at 29C.

We took a Gojek car to bring us to the consultant office on Jalan Bina Marga. The cost was Rp158.000. At about 12:30 we arrived at the office. After put the stuff in the office we checked in a resto next door to have lunch. Benny joined us just to accompanied us by having drinking. A moment later Utayanto joined us, so we were there long time for just talking.

In the office we had long discussion. I presented several drainage matters that should have fast decision.

After maghrib time I accompanied Pranoto seeking a hotel or guesthouse for his overnight. After seeing 2 guesthouses, Pranoto chose to be overnight in Sri Manganti Guesthouse. I went to my guesthouse at about 19:30. Lanjutannya...

Rahutama Coming

It is Sunday. In the morning I did not go any where. Nuri was busy to wash the clothes. In the afternoon I did gardening for a while.

In the evening at 19:00 we picked up Rahutama at a point near Police Academy Gate. He came from Jogja went to Semarang by a Joglosemar bus. He complained that the bus was going very slowly.

At 20:00 by a Gojek bike I went to the Plasa Simpanglima to by a hat and a stapler. I got them at Rp25.000 and Rp91.500, respectively. By a Gojek car I went back home. It was because the rain came heavily. Lanjutannya...

Being at Home

It is Saturday. In the morning I washed my clothes. It was at about 10:00 and at 12:00 they were dried. I then ironed them.

Anindya come by at home after taking Dastan's education status report. She went to the house front side to visit a new baby. His name is Arfan Rizqi. His family made a thankgiving procession. Going Back to Semarang

It is Friday. I arrived at the guesthouse at 01:00 and slept at 01:30. I woke up at 06:00 and missed the prayer.

At 09:00 I put my clothes (6 pieces) in a laundry shop. Then I packed the underwares and other stuff so I was ready for going home.

I went to the office to meet colleagues. Benny was absent. Basa was in, he made sheet of cross drains table. At 11:30 I joined the Friday prayer at Masjid Bait al Rahim. After having lunch I left the office.

I ordered a Gojek bike to bring me to the Kampung Rambutan Terminal where airport buses stood by. At 13:45 a bus where I was in left the terminal for the airport. As usual the traffic was congested. I arrived at the airport at 16:00. After having the boarding sheet I entered the waiting room.

Boarding was at 16:40 delayed from the schedule at 16:20. At 17:20 the Lionair Boeing 737-900ER flight number JT514 took off for Semarang. I was on the seat number 36D. At 06:07 the plane landed on the Ahmad Yani Airport of Senada from runway 31. Nuri picked me up. We were stucked in the airport area because of too many vehicles.

Going to Bandung

It is Thursday. I went to Bandung to join a meeting. In the morning at 02:45 I woke up to prepared myself for a trip. I wore a vest instead of a jumper that left in Semarang. I was ready in front of the Indomart Cipayung 2 at 03:15. I used a Gojek car to bring me to the Gambir Station. At 04:00 I arrived at the station. I printed the boarding pass, went upstair to have ablution and praying. Subuh prayer time was at 04:20.

Then, boarded on the coach Ekonomi-2, seat number 6C. It was a nice coach through an economic class. At 08:30 the train arrived at the Bandung Station. Mahardi was there. He picked up me and his childhood friend that just arrived from Jogja.

Mahardi dropped his friend (and the wife) at a hotel on Jalan Cihampelas. Then he rode me to his workplace, ITB. After I had breakfast we went to the Soilens Consultant office on Jalan Suci.

We (I, Mahardi, and a guy) attended a meeting with the consultant to discuss the geotechnical aspect of the Morowali IMIP Airport. The consultant was represented by Mr. Padmono and a guy). At 12:00 it concluded and we dismissed.

I and Mahardi had light lunch at the Soto Seger Boyolali on Jalan Juanda. Then, we went to his office to have coffee. He made me nice expresso. At 14:00 we in a hurry went to the station. I was dropped there. At 14:40 I sat on the Ekonomi-3 coach seat 9A. At 14:45 my train, Argo Parahyangan departed for Gambir.

A guy sat beside me was Edy S. I knew his name after we opened a chatting. He was a retired PLN employee. He is an alumni of the ITB Electrical Engineering Department batch 76. He was being on duty since he was a contractor officer. We got off at the Jatinegara Station.

I used a busway (TransJakarta) bus to bring me to the Kampung Melayu Terminal. Then, I jumped to a TransJ bus leading to Kampung Rambutan. At the BNN stop I got off to get another bus leading for Pinangranti. I got off at the Tamini stop. By an Angkota car I went to Ciayung area. At 20:00 I arrived at the guesthouse.

At 22:00 Mugiono, Gungun, Iik, and Yogi picked me for a night survey. We went to Taman Anggrek Building to join another companies, Utayanto. From this point we started to survey. We seperate to 2 cars. I was with Utayanto. We traced the planned alignment of additional lanes of the existing toll road from Tomang Junction to Cengkareng Gate. Going Around

It is Wednesday. I arrived at the office at 09:00. I still make correction on the drawing. At 13:00 Benny called me to join him having late lunch with Karijadi. We had it at a Makasar styled food kiosk at Taman Mini area. We ordered palumara fish, a kind of fish soup.

Being in the Office

It is Tuesday. I went to the office at 09:15. I was stopping by at a warung tegal named Satu Hati. The traffic in the street was emptied to let Mr. Vice President passing through. At 10:00 I arrived at the office at 10:00.

Going to Jakarta

It is Monday. In the morning at 08:30 I and Nuri went out to settle several matters. She dropped me at the Bank Jateng Pemuda and continued to go to the City Hall. I withdrew my October pension salary while she would be taking Anindya's land site plan. I was there about 30 minutes then went to the hall. The bank and the hall were side by side. She need about 15 minutes more to have it.

We then went to the Tawang Station to asked a manifest sheet. It was a sheet of my trip to Jakarta last Monday morning to replace the ticket I had missed. Eni wanted it to complete the report sheets.

We stopped by at Bu Lin's kiosk to buy dishes for our meals. Today Nuri did not made them.

We also came by to Musi Pempek counter to have tekwan, a kind of soup with fish balls. We dined in.

At 13:00 I came to the lab to meet Pranoto, Lani, and Rahma. We had discussion to improve our report.

At 17:00 Nuri accompanied to the airport. I would go to Jakarta by Lionair JT515. I got seat number 22D. The Lion Boeing 737-900ER took off at 19:05. It was 30 minutes late. An hour later it landed in the Jakarta Airport. With a Damri bus leading to Kampung Rambutan I went to the guesthouse. Effective Day

It is Sunday. In the morning I walked through Balad Shop, Jalan Sudirman, Jalan Bojongsalaman, and Jalan Simongan. After arriving at home I washed and dried my clothes. The day seemed cloudy but then clear. I slept afterward. At about 12.00 they were dried.

After praying I went to a barber shop on Jalan Puspawarno to trim my hair. It costed Rp12.000. I also came to a mobile agent to by a brand new internet car. It costed Rp55.000 having 2Gb 3G internet and 4Gb 4G internet. Lanjutannya...
