It is Friday. In the morning I washed my clothes. The day seemed promising so I washed more stuff.

At 10:00 I went to the lab. I met all the guys. At 12:00 I joined the Friday prayer in the Polines'masjid. Then, I and Pranoto had soto chicken soup in the Kabul's kiosk. Till 15:30 I was in the lab to debug cross drains list.

Dinner Out

It is Thursday. In the morning I joined qigong in the temple hall. Li Kian was in to instruct the session. The participants were 13 people. We practiced stretching, chenqi, and xingshen zhuang.

At 11:00 I went to the lab. I met Pranoto, Edhi, Bu Watik, and Tyo. I asked Tyo to print the drawings had been sent by Ii. I also discussed the water level on Simpang Palaran. Meanwhile Nuryanto was at the Civil Engineering Department area to attend his daughter. We met him to deliver our greetings to him.

In the evening I and Nuri attended a dinner organized by Nuryanto and wife in the Tanjung Laut Resto to celebrate the graduation of his second daughter. Pranoto and wife were also there. Lanjutannya...

Going Back to Semarang

It is Wednesday. At 08:00 I went to the office by walking. On the way I had breakfast at a warung tegal nearby.

At 10:00 I joined a weekly progress meeting of Consultant work. The employer or the project investor, PT JBS, and the project contractor, PT Wika, also joined the meeting. On the consultant side there were Benny, Priyonggo, Supardji, Anwar, Amor, etc. The investor was represented by Banu and Usodo. Daru represented the contractor. As usual the meeting concluded at 13:00. However, I felt there were several cases had not been discussed precisely, to tie all parties.

At 13:30 I left the office for Gambir Station. A Grab car brought me there. The situation was cloudy and rainy. Traffic was fair though at several road segments were congested.

I met Mahardi in the station as we agreed. I signed 2 papers he brought. At 15:45 we separated. I went on board.

It is Tuesday. In the morning I went to the office by walking. I used my morning time to learn operating AutoCAD. Vania (Wu Chun Fei) taught me to do it. I was successful to draw a simple drawing.

Being in the Guesthouse

It is Monday. It is holiday to commemorate the Resurrection of Prophet Muhammad. I had no schedule so at 10:30, after having breakfast at a warung tegal, I went to the office. Supardji and Anwar were there. They were on their work. There were also 3 PT JBS officers, they were Usodo, Banu, and Tria. After dhuhur time Supardji and them went to Bogor. I left the office just before ashr time.

In the guesthouse I slept along the afternoon. In the evening I went out for dinner. I checked in the Haji Junus Resto. I consumed steamed fish belly. It was ok but little bit bitter.

Going to Jakarta

It is Sunday. In the morning I washed my jacket and shoes. The day was promising but then alternately turn to cloudy ☁ or showering. However, at 13:00 the jacket had been dry while to shoes were still humid.

At 17:00 Nuri dropped me at the airport. I would go to Jakarta. I directly came to the check in counter after passing the security check. I got seat number 1C. At 17:30 we were boarding. At about 18:00 the Citilink Airbus 320-200 flight ✈ number QG967 took off bringing me to Jakarta. At 19:00 it landed on the SoekarnoHatta Airport of Jakarta.

At 19:35 I was on board of a Damri Airport bus leading to the Terminal of Kampung Rambutan. At about 21:00 I arrived at the terminal. Then, a Gojek bike brought me to the office. It costed Rp9.000.

Dining Out

It is Saturday. The day was promising so I washed my clothes. Before dhuhur time they were dry.

I tried to get ticket for going to Jakarta on Monday or Tuesday. However, I did not get it. It seemed that the holiday on Monday encouraging people to leave Jakarta and be back on Monday or Tuesday morning.

In the evening I and Nuri went to Basilia Cafe on Jalan Supeno for having dinner. We tried their fish steak, pasta marinara, vegetables salad, avocado juice, and strawberry on yogurt. They were tasty. I spent Rp162.150 for them. On the way home the traffic was congested. We traced alleys between Jalan Supeno and Jalan Kyai Saleh.

It is Friday. In the morning I joined qigong in the temple hall. The participants were only 9. We practiced chenqi, pengqi guanding, and short xingshen zhuang.

At 09:30 I went to the lab. I met Edhi, Bu Wati, and Tyo. I gave a copy of report example to Edhi. I told Tyo about a report I made.

Because of discussion with Tyo I did not watch the time. I missed to join Friday prayer.

Going Back to Semarang

It is Thursday. I went to the office at 08:45, walking. On my back is was my bag being full with my clothes. I was ready for going home. In the office I discussed the drainage pipe and ditch with Supardji and Priyonggo. At 12:30 I went to the Manado - Bitung Project office. I discussed the progress report with Rio and Lilik. At 13:30 I left the office.

By a Grab bike I went to the Terminal of Kampung Rambutan. The fare was Rp6.000 but I gave the operator Rp10.000 since I asked him to give ride to an old woman.

I continued the trip by Transjakarta buses. I got in the bus going to Kampung Melayu. At the Kampung Melayu Terminal I moved to the bus going to Ancol. I got off at the Senen Sentral bus stop. Then I got in the bus from Pulogadung to Harmoni. At the next stop a guy got in. He was Djoko Untung, my childhood neighbor. He had chatting for a while before I got off at the Gambir bus stop.

At arriving at the Station I printed the boarding pass. I would be in the Argo Sindoro Coaches coach number 2 seat number 2C. I then checked in the waiting room and had my prayer. I was out for a while to buy a bun. At 16:00 I was in the coach.

Enjoying Transjakarta Bus

It is Wednesday. It was a special holiday for offices in Jakarta because this day was election day to elect the couple of governor and vice governor for Jakarta.

I used this opportunity to explore Jakarta via its public transport named Busway that operated by Transjakarta. The Transjakarta is a provincial government owned company.

I started from the office. At 12:00 I got in a mikrolet number 14 to get me at the Simpang Rambutan. I paid Rp3.000. I continued by getting in a mikrolet number 12. I paid Rp4.000 as I got off in the Terminal of Kampung Rambutan.

About 5 minutes later I was in a busway bus route 7 (Kampung Rambutan - Kampung Melayu). The fee was Rp3.500 to get in the busway space. It was paid electronically using a card. We have get into the space once and we may go anywhere. The bus was clean and air conditioned. At the PGC (Pusat Grossir Cililitan) bus stop I got off to change the bus to route 7B (PGC - Ancol). I got off at the Senen Sentral bus stop then exited from the space.

I walked along Jalan Kramat and I stopped at a padangese food stall named Bukittinggi Nasi Kapau. I checked in and ordered rice and fish curry. It was nice. At a tent nearby I noticed the election committee of ballots collection Senen 9 was counting the ballot. After paying off the food, Rp21.000) I went to the tent just curious.

It is Tuesday. I went to the office at 08:45. I stopped by at a tegal food stall to have breakfast. At 09:15 I arrived at the office.

At 10:20 I joined weekly meeting. It chaired by Usodo and the minutes written by Darul. From the consultant, Benny was the leader. At 13:30 it concluded.

Going to Jakarta

It is Monday. In the morning I joined qigong in the temple hall. The participants were 9 people but 2 of us, Oei Ting Gwan 黃定沅 and Oei Ting Djwan 黃定全 left early before all sessions conducted. We practiced chenqi, laqi, pengqi guanding, and sanxin zhuang.

At 10:00 I dropped Nuri at the Basilia Resto. She would join her friends. I continued to the Bank Mandiri Pahlawan. I updated my bookbank. Then, I went to the lab.

I discussed problems in the design with Pranoto. The problem was about to pinpoint the locations of crossdrain having small catchment areas. We agreed to go to the field to cope with them. At 13:30 I left the lab.

At home I prepared myself for going. At 16:10 Nuri dropped me at the airport. I would go to Jakarta. My flight, Lion JT503, was scheduled to depart at 17:15. Unfortunately, it was delayed to an hour. However, the fact was that we were asked to board at 19:00. At about 19:30 the LionAir Boeing 737-900ER took off. I was on seat 💺 number 7A. At 20:30 we landed on the Soetta Airport of Jakarta. Just exiting the terminal building I got into an airport bus leading to the Kampung Rambutan Terminal. The fare was Rp40.000. My trip was continued by ordering a Gojek bike to the office. Joining a Wedding Party

It is Sunday. In the morning Mrs. and Mr. Djoni came to fetch Dastan. With them was Elo that made Dastan eager to join them.

At 11:00 I joined a wedding party in the hall of State Secondary School 32 on Jalan Ahmad Dahlan. It was managed by my colleague, Sumaji Hadiharyanto, to celebrate the marriage of his daughter, Lathifah Alfat. She married to Alfin Fikaro Yuzak. Anindya gave me a ride. She dropped me there than picked me up again after I did.

Joining a Wedding Party

It is Saturday. In the morning I and Nuri joined a wedding party in the Convention Hall of Masjid Agung. It was managed by Noviyanto to celebrate the marriage of his second daughter, Mutia Novenda Putri. She married to Genda Priherdika.

In the afternoon I walked along Jalan Puspawarno, Puspagiwang, Sudirman, and Bojongsalaman. It took 51 minutes.

In the evening I supposed to join the monthly neighborhood gathering. Because the place, Putra's house is narrow I just passed my share through Pak No.

It was Friday. In the morning I washed my used clothes. It was cloudy but I still did it. At noon there was a sunshine although limited. In the afternoon they were dry.

Buying a First Hand Motorcycle

It was Thursday. In the morning Nuri and Rahutama went to the used bikes shop on Jalan Thamrin to buy one. They bought a Yamaha Mio M3 used motorbike. It costed Rp10.250.000.

It is Wednesday. In the morning at 03:30 local time I got up and prepared myself for going. At 04:45 I left the hotel by a hotel taxi. The cost was Rp75.000. At 05:00 I arrived at the Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Airport of Balikpapan. I directly checked in. I was in the flight JT625 on the seat number 26A. I had breakfast in a canteen, Gloria Jeans Coffee. It costed Rp87.000. At 06:10 I boarded in the LionAir Boeing 737-800Ng. At 06:45 it took off and at 07:15 it landed on the Ahmad Yani Airport of Semarang. Nuri picked me home. At 08:00 I arrived at home.

At 10:00 I, Nuri, and Dastan went to Kampung Nasi Resto to join the monthly meeting of former water supply project officers' wives. Mrs. Bharoto, Mrs. Surjadi, Mrs. Arus, Mrs. Widodo joined it. Meeting

It is Tuesday. In the morning I found that our team is complete. It consisted of me, Supardji, Kunta, Gugun, Imam, and Citrasena. The team then was added with Amor, Bigman, and Made. The last two are the independent checker. At 09:30 we checked out the hotel and went to the Contractor's Office on the Kilometerstone 38 Balikpapan Samboja. We arrived at the office at just before 11:00.

The meeting started at 11:00. It was late since the schedule was at 10:00. Usodo chaired the meeting. Anwar joined the team. The other attendants were the contractor's team (Iwan, Nico, etc), the investor's team (Heru, Danu, etc), the supervising consultant (Rifansyah, Jimmy), and the checkers (Richard, Made, and Bigman). We discussed the construction problems in detail. We took long time to achieved the points. At 21:00 we concluded the meeting and 21:30 the minutes was distributed.

We then dismissed. We went to the hotel. Gugun, Imam, and Citrasena dropped off at the Her Hotel. I and Supardji did at the Whiz Prime Hotel. Bigman went to the Swiss Belhotel.

Going to Balikpapan

It is Monday. In the morning at 07:00 Rahutama dropped me at the airport. I would go to Balikpapan. Soon, I entered into the building and checked in. My flight ✈ was LionAir JT624 and the seat was 31C. At 08:00 the LionAir Boeing 737-800NG took off to bring me to Balikpapan. It was on schedule. The plane landed at the Sultan Haji Sulaiman Airport of Balikpapan at 10:30 local time. It was 10 minutes in front of the schedule. After exiting the terminal building, I withdrew money from an BCA ATM, and ordered a taxi to the hotel. The taxi fare was Rp70.000. By showing the copy of the voucher I checked in the hotel. My room number was 626.

I then went to the downtown to see what the place look like. The taxi dropped me at the Plaza Balikpapan. I paid Rp50.000 to the taxi driver though he just asked for Rp44.500 as the argometer showed.

Plaza Balikpapan is a spacious mall. It is nice, too. The tenants are like to those of other malls. I just walked sightseeing then exited. I went to a pandangese resto named Upik nearby for lunch.

By a Gojek bike I went back to the hotel. The fare was Rp20.000.

Becoming a Receptionist

It is Sunday. In the morning though it was cloudy I washed my clothes because I run out the clean ones. I dried them by relying on the wind.

At 08:00 I and Nuri went to the Masjid Agung to dress up in a Javanese traditional custom. In the dressing room the custom experts were ready to dress us up. Nugroho and wife were there. At 09:30 we were ready to serve.

At 11:00 we were standing on the place as directed by the event organizer. We became receptionists in a wedding party. About 10 couples were asked to be that. The party was to celebrate the marriage of Nur Ramadhani and Candra Rakhma Alima. The groom was Widodo's youngest son.

Anindya and Dastan came to wish the groom and the bride. The bride is Anindya's colleague. Because they came late they got limited choices of food. So did I and Nuri. At 13:00 the party was over. We dismissed and went home.

In the evening I accompanied by Rahutama seeked a barbershop since Cak Rus Barbershop was unduty. We found a shop at a place near the office of Kelurahan Ngemplak Salaman. For trimming my hair, it costed only Rp10.000 Lanjutannya...

Dinner Out

It is Saturday. In the morning it was cloudy. I postponed my plan to wash my clothes. Bibik still washed Dastan and Ailin's clothes so till after they still humid.

In the evening I, accompanied by Rahutama, went to the Sarika Pharmacy to get the medicines. They costed Rp866.000. I then went to the Cendana Printing to print drawings. An A1 black and white drawing costed Rp7.500 and an A1 sized color one costed Rp54.000. I printed one each.

Showering a Groom

It is Friday. In the morning I felt exhausted so after praying I continued to sleep.

At about 09:00 I went to the lab to check the work I ordered to Tyo. I met Bu Wati and Edhi. I ordered Tyo to send the catchment area drawing to me. To the other I asked to check the flow rate analysis.

At 11:00 I left the lab for a Bank Jateng counter for withdrawing monthly pension salary. At 11:30 I left the bank for home. It was a traffic jam but I arrived at home at 12:30. I still have time to join the Friday prayer in the Masjid Attaqwa.

At 14:00 I and Nuri went to Widodo's house to join a showering procession for his youngest son, Dani. The procession was managed to be one of other processions concerning his marriage. I was appointed to be one of the six men being asked to shower him. At 16:00 we went home. Lanjutannya...

It is Thursday. At 08:15 I left the guesthouse for the office. My used clothes had been packed and they were with me in the backbag. I had breakfast at the same food stall I had been in yesterday. I was in the office till 13:00.

At 13:00 with a Gojek bike service I went to the Kampung Rambutan Terminal. The service was Rp8.000. After having lunch in a food counter I got in a Damri Airport bus. At 14:00 the bus left the terminal and at 15:00 I got off at the Terminal 1A Soekarno Hatta Airport. I directly checked in. My flight was Lionair JT514 and I got seat number 32A. At 17:10 we boarded. Walking

It is Wednesday. In the morning I prepared myself for walking but I cancelled it because it was cloudy. At 08:30 I went to the office on foot. It was still cloudy but it seemed showering would not happend. On the way there I had my breakfast in a small warung tegal. It costed Rp10.000.

In the office, Prio was absent. Richard, Usodo, Danu, and Darul were in the office. They were earlier than I was. At 12:00 I left the office to meet Risna and Kanti.

I got in a small passanger car route 02 leading to Cililitan. I dropped off at the Kramatjati Transjakarta bus stop. To enter to the waiting room I should tap my cashcard (Mandiri e-money). An amount of Rp3.500 was deducted. I got in a busway number 7 (Kampung Rambutan - Kampung Melayu). At 12:55 I got off at the Cawang Uki bus stop. I got into an UKI Hospital canteen for having lunch. A laksa dish was my menu. After Kanti and Risna arrived I joined them. We went to Yati'S house in Cisanggiri. The traffic was congested as usual. We traced a complex route to reach the place.

At about 14:15 we arrived at the house. Yati was in. We chatted with her and her sister in law. At about 16: we left the house for the FX Sudirman Building.

The building was in the area of Senayan Stadium. It was a mall with variety of food stalls. We in four checked in the Ngalam Resto. I order a bowl of cuimi and coffee. Kanti added with angsle. The taste was fair. After maghrib time Ade and Seto joined us. We chatted till 22:00.

Kanti and Risna dropped me at the UKI bus stop. I got in a busway number 7 until arriving at the Kampung Rambutan Terminal. The passanger car was void. I walked to the guesthouse. It was 4,5km. In the Office

It is Tuesday. I was in the office all day long. I walked to the office at 08:30, stopped by at a soto shop for breakfast, and arrived at the office at 09:15. At 10:00 I joined the meeting with the investor and the contractor. It concluded at 12:30.

I was still in the office, so did the guys from the investor and the contractor. After maghrib time I went to the guesthouse. Herry gave me a ride. He also wanted to know the situation of the room. Going to Jakarta

It is Monday. In the morning at 07:45 I and Nuri went to the Lunpia Semarang Kp Baris stall to take my order. At 08:15 I got it, it was 15 minutes late. Then, we directly went to the airport. I would go to Jakarta. Nuri just dropped me there.

My flight was Lion Air JT505 scheduled to take off at 09:45 but it delayed about 60 minutes. At about the time a Boeing 737-900ER took off. I was on seat 17C. At about 11:30 we landed at the Sukarno Hatta Airport of Jakarta. After claiming baggage I took a Gocar car to bring me to the office. The cost was Rp176.000. It was cheaper than tariff offered by Grabcar, Rp223.000. At about 13:00 I arrived at the office.

I passed the snacks (wingko and lunpia) to Sopyan and he distributed to the colleagues.

I worked in the office as usual. I rechecked the calculations conducted by the Semarang Team.

Before maghrib time I went to the guesthouse. Sopyan gave me a ride. I had my dinner at a padangese resto nearby. I bought bottled water at an Indomart shop. Lanjutannya...

It is Sunday. In the morning I dried the clothes having wetted yesterday. I exposed them in the shade to avoid getting blur.

Before dhuhur time I and Nuri went to the lunpia vendor to order some. They told the lunpia would be ready tomorrow at 08:00. Then, we went to the wingko vendor on Jalan Kasuari. I bought 20 pieces. They costed various, from Rp4.400 to Rp5.500.

It is Saturday. In the morning at 08:30 I walked through streets of Puspagiwang Timur, Sudirman, and Bojongsalaman. It took 50 minutes.

Then, I washed my clothes. It was a weekly ritual. At 11:00 I finished exposed them to the sun for drying. In the afternoon I started to iron. It was raining and I forgot to take the clothes I dry in backyard. They became wet again. I finished ironing at 20:00 in the evening.
