Being at Home

It was Sunday. I and Nuri were at home all-day. Nuri made fried rice for our breakfast. I thought her rice was tasty. It was drier than that she usually made. In the afternoon I watered the front yard. However, it was a brief showering in the evening.

Kinship Gathering

It was Saturday. In the morning at 08:30 I went to the Pandanaran Public Health Center (Puskesmas) to check my swollen left eyelid. The process was quick. At 09:30 I saw Doctor Ratna. She gave me CTM, Dexamethasone, and Chloramp

At 10:30 Nuri dropped me at the Jratunseluna Guesthouse on Jalan Papandayan. I joined the kinship session following the Idul Fitri Festival. Doctor Haerudin ME MT, a preacher, was sharing the motivation. The bottom line was that we as Allah creations should be always thankful and respected any affairs from the positive sides. The attendants were Subagyo, Supriyo, Harsono, Hidayat, Wismaningsih, etc. They were about 30 people consisted of retired employees and the wives. At about 12:45 we dismissed after having lunch. Pak Rozi came in the afternoon to check the work. He also asked for their wages. Nuri settled all.

Short Meeting

It was Friday. In the morning after directing the workers, at 08:30 I went to the BBWSPJ to meet Hidayat. We wanted to see a lady officer to discuss our work. The work was to audit 4 dams: Panohan, Banyukuwung, Klego, and Kedungombo. Next we wanted to go to the field to inspect the dam components.

At 11:45 we saw the lady. She is Meta, one of engineers of the office. We agreed to go to the field next weeks. She would provide a car. We ecpected to spend a day for a dam. At 11:10 we dismissed. I went home.

I joined the Friday Prayer at the Masjid Attaqwa. As usual I made the sandals in order before the preacher took his place.

After praying I and Nuri went to ornament stone shops at the Karangpanas area. We wanted to buy conglomerate lookliked steps. Some items attracted us, so we ordered 6 pieces of 30x30 cm2 step. It costed Rp120.000. We, then, went to the Sehat Pharmacy. We took the medicines based on the Doctor Sumanto’s prescribtion. It was for 30 days but I only took for 10 days. It costed Rp619.800. Continuing Modifying Front Yard

It was Thursday. The qigong session was void from this day to August the 1st. The venue was used to celebrate the arrival of Zheng He several centuries ago. At home the workers were still on job. They continued to fix the front yard. There were only 2 workers. At about 09.00 there was a guy came to ask permission to lay pipeline in front of the house. I asked him to come to Nandar (Geyong) the chairman of our neighborhood unity.

Before dhuhur time I and Nuri went to a conblock factory in Jangli area. The factory was Jangli Conblock. We bought 5m2. It was contained 250 pieces. I thought the quality was under standard. The price was Rp57.000 per m2. With the transportation we spent Rp335.000.

In the afternoon I cured the conblocks because I thought they were less cured. I also relayed them orderly. In the evening Geyong and Suhono came. They asked for permission. Because Geyong ok, I put my name on the list of the no objectioning people. Lanjutannya...

Modifying Front Yard

It was Wednesday. In the morning I went to the temple hall to join qigong. Argi also went there to do the same. He ride his motorcycle. It was the first time he joined qigong. The participants were 12 people. We practiced chenqi laqi, pengqi guanding, and one movement more. I did not join the last because I left the venue. Argi also did the same. He told me he was tired.

The whole day I and Nuri were at home. There were 3 workers modifying the front yard and painted our bedroom. We were supervising them.

Fixing Leakage

It was Tuesday. In the morning I went to the temple hall to join qigong. The participants were 11 people. We practiced chenqi, pengqi guanding, and feeling qi. At 07:40 we finished. Argi was supposed to join the session but he did not show up.

At about 10:00 we welcomed Pak Rozi and Pak Slamet. We ordered them to fixed the leakage. We then asked Mr. Santino to access his house to allow them fixing the leakage.

Seeing a Doctor

It was Monday. In the morning at 07:30 I went to the Cito Clinical Laboratory to deliver my blood sample. Today I wanted to see Doctor Sumanto so the lab prescription was realized. The laboratory service was so good. About 3 minutes to register then followed by tapping my blood. It took about 2 minutes. It was fast. The clerk told the result could be taken at 18:00.

This morning I supposed to talked to Andarta but my phone call was neglected. So was mine to Sardju. The bottom line I could not enrich my paragraphs.

In the evening at 20:30 I went to see Doctor Sumanto at his practical room, Lampersari. Rahutama accompanied me. We took the lab report first. My turn was number 21. I met Bambang Art, Tati's husband. He held turn number 16. About 30 minutes in waiting I got my turn. Of course he about 10 minutes before me. The doctor told because my CEA level raised to 4.97, he gave me prescription for a month and asked me to consult again. He suggested me to undergo a CEA test a month later.

Rahutama Coming

It was Sunday. In the morning Pak Kuswari, the wife, dan Puji came home to move the used spring bed. The had bought it from Nuri. They also made the storage tidy. After dhuhur time I and Nuri went out to have lunch. After going around Jalan Diponeoro and Pleburan we checked in the Banaran Cafe. I got nasi pecel while Nuri mi jawa. Coffee was on my list, too.

At 19:00 Rahutama came home. He reported that his new cellphone was out of order. Nuri was so mad because his carelessness. The cellphone was about Rp2.500.000. We were so disappointed. It was Saturday. We had a plan to make the storage underground tidy but we did not do anything. We just maintained our laziness.

Workshop

It was Friday. I joined the workshop of composing training curriculum at the Muria Room of the Horizon Hotel. The workshop started at 09:00 were managed by the Water Resources and Construction Training Center attended by the team (Suripin, Suharyanto, Robert, Hari, and Pranoto), the resource people (Dirmawan, Bambang, and Syahrial), the steering team (Suprapto, Hasan, and Dadang).

I left home at 08:30 for the Novotel Hotel because the it had been mentioned in the invitation. It was hard to get the parking space so I was late to enter the hotel, at 09:05. As a matter of fact the session took at the Horizon Hotel. I knew it from Pranoto after I did not find the people and called him for confirmation. In a hurry I went to the next hotel, the Horizon. I joined the people at 09:30. I was late.

In the workshop Robert and Suripin presented the substances, groundwater and raw water, respectively. The other team members added some points. The resource people gave their reviews.

In the meantime we joined the Friday prayer at the 9 floor of the Simpanglima Plaza. The plaza and the hotel shared the building.

At 15:00 the workshop concluded. I went back home directly.

In the evening I and Nuri had dinner at the Nglaras Rasa, Peterongan. The dishes were ok 👌 and cheap.

Gathering

It was Thursday. I filled it with gathering in the Pemali Juana River Basins Management Office (BBWSPJ). it was a casual one. Besides me the participants were Hidayat, Djumono, Suhartono, and Suroto. We discussed everything concerning the management of Jratunseluna River Basins. It just took about 90 minutes. At 13:30 we dismissed.

Car Servicing

It was Wednesday. The day was cloudy ☁. In the morning at 07:45 I went to the Nasmoco Workshop to service the car 🚗. It was the 40.000km timely service. I arrived at the workshop at 08:30, exactly on time to the schedule we got. A clerk told the cost about Rp1.500.000 and I agreed.

At 09:30 Hidayat fetched me to his house. We then set his notebook for the Dropbox application to get his files editable by the counterparts. In the middle the PLN power shut down and automatically the internet connection also disconnected. So, we used my cellular connection. It worked. At 11:30 Hidayat and wife accompanied back to and dropped me at the workshop.

Being at Home

It was Tuesday. In the morning I went to the temple hall to join qigong. The participants were 11 people. I joined it partly, only chenqi and pengqi guanding. I left the venue at 07:05.

Paying off the Vehicle Tax

It was Monday. In the morning I slept again after praying. I got up again after Nuri woke me up. She was washing clothes and need a help. I was not in a good condition, there was a small sore on my left lower lip. It was annoying.

After having breakfast of papaya fruit I and Nuri went to the Samsat (one stop service) Office at the DP Mall. The office served the vehicle owners on receiving the tax. Unfortunately, the office has closed permanently. So, we walked to the Bank Jateng Building to get the other office.

We arrived at 11:30. We directly picked the turn slip from the dispenser. We got number 155 while the number 105 was being served. We waited for our turn. At 12:00 the service stopped, the clerks were in break. I thought it was not a right order so at 12:16 I twitted a complain to the Governor, Mr. Ganjar Pranowo. Surprisingly, he responded my twit, he asked for the locus and forward it to the Chief of Revenue Authority. At 12:30 an official arrived and had a talk to the clerks. Suddenly, at 12:36 the break time was cancelled and the service continued. Number 137 got the turn followed by the next turns. It was fast because the service was electronically assisted. At about 12:45 our turn came.

We were back to the DP Mall. Nuri wanted to see what Carrefour looked like. For about 15 minutes we just window shopped. Finally, we bought some pastry to stuff our stomachs. Then, we left for Sampangan.

We led to a food stall on Jalan Menoreh Raya offering ells dish. We arrived at the stall at about 14:30. A number of visitors were still there. We were came in and seek for seats but then we changed our minds to take the dishes away. The room was not conducive.

Gathering

It was Sunday. I was at home to prepared gathering. In the morning I and Nuri set the furniture to welcome guests. Nuri wiped and mopped the floor. We then, changed the furniture configuration. The dining table and the chairs we moved to the kitchen area. The sofa was moved to the middle room.

In the afternoon we went to the Purimas Bakery to take the snacks. There were 44 packs. Then, we went to the Ballad Electric Shop to buy a lamp. It would be replacing the one in the middle room, and the middle room one would be moved to the carport. When we were home we asked Sahid to replace the lamps.

In the evening we welcomed neighbors to gather. The man and the spouses gathered in the same time but we separated to discuss our matters. Trimming the Hair

It was Saturday. In the morning I accompanied Nuri to ordered snacks. The stuff would be provided in the neighborhood monthly gathering. After considering situations we came to the Purimas Bakery to order the snacks. Three kinds of snack were selected. They were onde, bakwan, and pineapple bread. Its price was Rp7.300 per pack. We ordered 40 packs. The bakery added 4 packs as the bonus.

Then, we went to the Bulu market. Nuri bought onions and peanut. On the way home Nuri dropped me at the Cak Rus Barbershop. Nuri continued her way to Superindo market to by fruits.

Cak Rus directly was on duty. My hair was cut at crew cut type. I was satisfied. The cost was Rp13.000.

I walked to get home but on the way Nuri picked me up on board. She just finished with her matters in the market.

At 15:00 I left the house to Sampangan to get in a good stall offering eel dish. It closed so I went to the Bu Lin food stall instead. The stall close either. I went home. I spent an hour outside the house for nothing. I ordered Nuri to make a dish for my late lunch. Lanjutannya...

Being at Home

It was Friday. I was still at home. Last night I had been difficult to sleep after waking up in the middle of the night. I got slept again at about 05:00 after praying. I was also feeling little bit awful.

In the morning Nuri was busy to make her clothes in order again. In the same time she wanted to seek her wallet. Yes, she lost it but finally, she got it.

This afternoon Bu Kus and Bu Jakahir came to discuss the gathering. It scheduled that the gathering would be managed in the house after no other neighbor allowed his/her house be the venue. The problem was that the people would be about 50, it needed a spacious place. Lanjutannya...

It was Thursday. In the morning I joined the qigong in the temple hall. The participants were 8 people. Li Kian was the instructor. We practiced stretching, xingshen zhuang, fa qi.

Gathering

It was Wednesday. I was late to get up so I missed my subuh prayer. I was just relaxed in the morning. Rambat passed the invitation at about 06:30.

At 09:00 I joined a gathering in the Wadaslintang Room at my former office. It was managed by the office to celebrate the Eid ul Fitr, to declare the retirement of employees, and to farewell the haj pilgrims. A number of retired employees joined it, such as Mr. Bambang, Nidhom, Wisnu, Suwoko, Sunomo, Suhartono, Guntoro, Hidayat, and Agus.

The gathering was filled with speeches of the chief, the fresh retired employees, and the pilgrims. Songs of the qasidah group were also performed. Withdrawing Salary

It was Tuesday. In the morning I went to the temple hall for joining Qigong. The participants were just 6 people (Melani, Ting Gwan 黃定沅, Andi, Hong Tju, and the instructur). We practiced Chenqi, pengqi guanding, dan part of xingshen zhuang.

After arriving at home I directly washed my clothes. As usual I executed the white ones then continued to the dark ones. The day was cloudy but then shinny when I started to hang them for drying. Alhamdulillah.

At about 10:30 I and Nuri went out. Nuri dropped me at the Bank Jateng, Pemuda, then continued to the carpentry shops. I entered the bank and visited the toilet first. I saw the customer service to change my bankbook. It was about 30 minutes to wait for. After having the new one I asked to the teller to withdraw the pension salaries. It was the salary of July and the thirdteen month. The process was quick, it took about 5 minutes. When I settled the matters, Nuri was also ready to fetch me. She was on the parking yard.

Anindya Going to Jakarta

It was Monday. In the morning I went to the temple hall to join qigong. The participants were 10 people. Jueding was the instructur. We practiced chenqi, laqi, pengqi guanding, and sanxin zhuang. At 07:40 we completed the exercise. On the way home I stopped by a BNI ATM on Jalan Pandanaran to transfer some money to Hidayat. It was a couple of renumeration: April and Mei.

At 14:00 Mrs. Djoni accompanied by Om Beni came to see Dastan. They just arrived from East Java. At 15:00 I and Nuri accompanied Anindya, Dastan, and Bibik Sukiyem going to the airport. Gathering

It was Sunday. In the morning I and Nuri accompanied Rahutama to the Banyumanik bus stop. He would go to Jogjakarta. We dropped him there and we went back home. We were in hurry because I wanted to defecate.

At 09:30 when I was ready to go Sonhaji came by. He would distribute a wedding party invitation but the one for me was not with him. So, we just chatted to share our experiences.

At 10:15 I went to Hariyoto's house to join a post Eid ul Fitr gathering. I picked Wuryani from the Rinjani Resto where she was also joining a similar gathering. It was managed by the Magelang Highschool students batch 1973. At the resto I also met Djoko Untung, Bambang Kelet, and Bejez. Then, I and Wuryani led to Hariyoto's house.

At the house several schoolmates were there. They were Yatno, Noeri, Tati, Heni, Indahingsih, Aswaty, Mustiko, Dwihati, and Jeki. Bangoen had been there, too but he left earlier to accompany his child to the airport. The last five people came from Magelang.

We were then involved in social chatting. A photoshoot session was also managed. Hariyoto also provided good food for us. There were carp fishes, shrimps, tofu, crackers. Indahingsih contributed steamed taro leaf (buntil). A discussion about the coming reunion was also passing by. At 13:00 we dismissed. I dropped Tati at her house and Heni at the Java Mall.

In the evening I and Nuri had dinner in the XO Kopitiam. I ordered lemon tea, capcay polos (plain vegetables stir-fry), and ngoyang (fried shredded shrimp) while Nuri ordered teh tarik (milk tea) and nasi lamak. Welcoming Guest

It was Saturday. In the morning I mopped the floor after Nuri wiped it. There would be guests coming. Nuri made tofu sprouts dish and water spinach stir-fry.

About dhuhur time I went to the Pleburan area to print documents. The price was Rp400 per page. I spent Rp60.000 for all.

In the afternoon Mahardi, Erna, Teta, Firda, and Faris was coming by. They were on the way to Pemalang. We were shared our experiences. Then, Asri, ARGI, ALY, and ZAKY came. They ARGI and ZAKY fetched Asri and ALY from the Banyumanik Terminal. The chatting was going to lively. At about 17:00 they left after taking our picture together. Anindya, Dastan, and Bagus were away. So was Rahutama. So, the pictures did not record them.

Going to Salaman

It was Thursday. We went to Salaman. We had breakfast at home before going. The menu was still the same as that of yesterday: kupat, lontong, opor, rebung, tahu, and telur.

At 07:40 we started. We stopped by the Gajahmungkur public fueling station. We used the toll road starting from Banyumanik. The traffic was dense but it flowed.

It was congested when we exited the Bawen Gate. It was smooth when we entered the Ambarawa Ring Road but congested when we exited. Smooth was faced when we arrived the tanjakan. From Secang to Payaman it was congested again.

At 12:45 we checked in the Bayleaf Resto in Magelang. Actually, our intention was checking in the Tahu Pojok Resto but it was out of duty.

We arrived at the family house at 14:00. There were Lik Santo, Lik War, Asri, ALY, Fitriani, Lia, Aning, Damar, and Peni. Finally, Adi was also joining. We shared the greetings and apologies. Before leaving I made pictures of us but it could not perform smoothly because Dastan was annoying. He wanted to participate in the shooting.

At about 17:00 we left Salaman. We traced Magelang, Tegalrejo, Kopeng, Salatiga, and the Toll Road. We entered it at the Bawen and exited from the Manyaran Toll Gates. We arrived at home at 21:00. We had dinner at the Bond Cafe in Magelang. Lanjutannya...

Eid ul Fitr

It was Wednesday. It was Eid ul Fitr, a festival following the end of Ramadan 1437H. I and Nuri performed the Eid Prayer in the Masjid Attaqwa. Anindya, Bagus, and Dastan did it at the Simpanglima Square to join the Djoni Family. After praying we shared our forgiveness and enjoyed the Javanese traditional eid food.

The food comprised of lontong (rice in the banana leaf), kupat (rice in the coconut leaf), bamboo shoots hot soup, opor (javanese styled chicken curry, eggs in shrimp paste, and hot tofu and skin crackers dish. I deliberately loosed my control on the portion.

The neighbors came and left to share the forgiveness. We did not go anywhere.

In the afternoon we welcomed Pak Rosyid and the children to perform silaturahim (courtesy visit). The wife had just passed away several months ago. I think the family is a kind one. Lanjutannya...

Last Day of Ramadan

It was Tuesday. It was the day 30 of Ramadan. The month of Ramadan lasts 29 days but occasionally, it lasts 30 days. We still maintained our sahur.

In the morning at 09:45 I washed my clothes. I separated the white ones to the colored ones. When I finished hanging for drying the adzan was reciting.

In the afternoon I made a walk 🚶 tracing the West Flood Canal. Then, in waiting for the maghrib time I ironed my clothes. The maghrib time was 17:38. We enjoyed various fruits and drinks. Rahutama was out to join his friends having breaking fasting.

This morning the television stations broadcasted the bombing 💣 attacks at the Surakarta Resort Police Office. It was a suicide bombing. Lanjutannya...

Breaking Fasting Out

It was Monday. It was the day 29 of Ramadan. We still maintained our sahur.

In the afternoon at 04:30 accompanied by Rahutama I went to the Nglaras Roso Resto to join iftar (إفطار breaking fasting) together. Tati managed the session. Tati and her son, Hariyoto, and Tuti were there where I came. Bangoen arrived when I was just entering the resto. Then, Noeri came just before maghrib time. The maghrib time was 17:38. We were enjoying the food and chatting. The food was various. However, I just took fruits, fried stuff, fish, and vegetables. We paid our maghrib prayer there. At about 18:30 we dismissed. Bangoen, riding a motorcycle, dropped me on the mouth of the alley.

Cloudy Day

It was Sunday. In the morning after sahur session Anindya, Dastan, Bagus, and Bibik came. They wanted to take Bibik's stuff. Bibik would be accompanied to go to her home, Kebumen. Later, Asri and Aly came. They just to fetch Peni. After Anindya and the gang left, Asri, Aly, and Peni left. They would be dropped by Rahutama at the XTrans Travel. The travel would take them to Magelang.

In the evening after maghrib time I and Rahutama bought nasi pecel from Yu Sri stall in Simpanglima area. It was raining. Nasi pecel was our dinner menu. Anindya, Dastan, and Bagus came. They were overnight at home. Lanjutannya...

Rahutama Coming

It was Saturday. The sahur session was more lively by joining Anindya and Bibik. However, my menu still the same, steamed chicken and vegetables. In an occasion I sent the remuneration of March to Hidayat by mobile banking. I could not send the others but the bank gave limitation. As usual I slept after praying.

In the morning I was just playing with Dastan. He talked much, he moved much. I wanted to take the pictures of him but failed. Instead, he grabbed the camera and shoot anything.

In the afternoon Anindya, Dastan, and Bibik were fetched by Bagus for moving to Erlangga. So, the house was desolate again. I walked through Jalan Bojongsalaman, Sudirman, and Puspagiwang. When I got home, Rahutama was in. He just arrived from Jogja. A moment later Peni came. She just landed at the airport then continued to home by a taxi.

In the evening Anindya, Bagus, and Bibik were overnight in Erlangga. The electric power was down for about an hour. Then, the rain came heavily. Lanjutannya...

Anindya Coming

It was Friday. It was the day 26 of Ramadan. We still had early morning ritual, sahur. However, we did not end with sleeping after praying. Instead, we went to the airport to fetch Anindya.

Anindya, Dastan, and Bibik arrived at Semarang today. They landed at 06:00 on the airport. They flew with Citilink. At 06:25 they exited the arrival lounge after settling with their luggage.

The airport was busy but we still got a parking space. We had no difficulty when we loaded the luggage to the car.

At dhuhur time I joined the Friday prayer at the Masjid Attaqwa. The jamaah were filling the masjid partly.

In the afternoon I walked along the riverside pathway of West Flood Canal. It took about 55 minutes. After having showering I joined the iftar gathering in the Masjid Attaqwa.
