Exploring Information

It was Monday. In the morning I went to the Energy and Minerals Resources Authority office to see a mine officer. I met Mr. Ali and from I explored the mining information. As a matter of fact he didn't have any information since the authority had just transferred from the regency governments. Then, I went to the PSDA office to seek the process on issuing a recommendation. I couldn't see the guy in charge because he and the staff was being briefed by the supervisor. So, I went to BP DAS Pemali Jratun Office. I met Mrs. Utari, Mr. Sudarto, and Ms. Morning. We discussed the forest and land conservation. Leaving the office I led to the Forest Authority to see Mr. Nova.

In the evening I and Nuri went to Mr. Hidayat's house to visit his health. In the same time I signed the July invoice. He seemed healthy although he had to have vein curing. Lanjutannya...

Massage

It was Sunday. In the morning we welcomed guests. They were Nuri's friends: Ida and Lurit. They talked about a wedding party.

At 11:00 I and Nuri went to a masseur at the Wushu Building. I got massage, did Nuri. The day was hot. We directly were home afterward.

Being at Home

It was Friday. I didn't go anywhere. At zuhr time I joined the Friday prayer in the Masjid Attaqwa.

In the afternoon Nuri wiped and mopped the floor. It was the work usually I do.

Going to the Lab

It was Thursday. I went to the lab at about 11:00. I passed the toll road from the Manyaran Gate. In the lab I just gave receipt and Rp100.000 change to the secretary. I then left the lab for home.

I searched the Office of Pemali Jratun River Basins Management on Jalan Karangrejo, in Jatingaleh area. Unfortunately, I took the wrong place because the right one was in Banyumanik area. I went home and planned to get there in another day.

Massage

It was Wednesday. My back was still pain. I didn't go to the lab. I was still at home.

In the afternoon at 17:00 I and Nuri went to Mr. Rajiman the masseur. It was Mr. Bambang suggestion. About an hour he massaged me. The result, I was in a better condition. It costed Rp70.000. He suggested to be back again 4 days later.

Backpain

It was Tuesday. In the morning I went to the temple hall to join qigong session. We practiced chenqi, pengqi guanding, and xingshen zhuang. I felt getting back pain when we practiced

At 10:00 I and Nuri went to the Puskesmas Pandanaran to get medicines. A doctor gave me 2 medicines: vitamin B1 and

In the evening I and Nuri went to Ayam Goreng Kampungkali to have dinner.

Going to the Office

It was Monday. I was reluctant to go for qigong so I was absent. Nuri was getting better. She made me a bokchoy dish for my breakfast.

At 10:00 I went to the lab.  The team was still absent. Ms. Wati told they had just arrived at Semarang and need to have rest. I met Pranoto. He just finished examining students. At 14:00 I went home.

In the evening I and Nuri went out. We printed pictures of Dastan and put them on a plate. We also bought pecel for our dinner.

Being at Home

It was Sunday. We were still at home. Nuri was getting ill so she was still in bed. After zuhr time I we went out to buy dishes, ash, and bread. I also came to a green bean porridge stall to have it.

In the afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Djoni came to pass vegetables. They had bought it from Kopeng.

Joining a Wedding Party

It was Saturday. At 11:30 I and Nuri went to Convention Hall of the Masjid Agung on Jalan Gajah. We joined the wedding party of Rizki and Dolina. Rizki was the second child of Mr. and Mrs. Widodo. As usual we met our colleagues such as Bud, Surjadi, and Nugroho.

Surveying the Day 2

It was Friday. The hotel provided breakfast for us but it was not suitable for me. It was cow skin stir fry, it was disgusting. So, we came to a food stall after checking out of the hotel. The dishes were modest but tasty.

After having breakfast we met Supadi at a point near Prupuk. Supadi was with two people, ojek operators. We then added with two more ojeks. So, we were with 5 bikes.

Our survey was a walkthrough from the juction of Glagah and Pemali rivers to walking upstream to the juction of Glagah and Pedes. We started from a point in between, went down to the junction and went back. Time for praying had come so we had a break.

We joined the Friday prayer in a nearby masjid, the Masjid Baitunnajah. Then, we went to the Pengkolan food stall in Prupuk. Rice and vegetables soup was my menu. Leaving the stall we went to the Jati Agung Motel in Prupuk where the four people (Legimin, Andreas, Putra, and Niko) checked in. The we went to a point near the masjid where the four people got off. I and the driver (Eko) went back to Semarang.

We stopped by the Office of Road Conservation in Lebaksiu. I met Mr. Simbolon, an officer. He told that all data associated to the planning was available in the Planning and Supervision Office in Semarang. He suggested to came there.

We traced the route of Slawi - Pangkah - Pemalang - Semarang. We stopped again in Kendal where we had dinner at a simple stall. At 20:00 arrived at home.

Surveying

It was Thursday. In the morning we were ready at 08:30 after having breakfast in the hotel. The hotel provided it free of charge. We checked out of the hotel. We went to the departments of Brebes Regency.

First, we went to the Department of Water, Energy, and Minerals. We met the head (Mr. Slamet Riyadi),  and his ordinates (Mr. and Mr.). They promised to give their data later. The second was the Office of Regency Development Planning. We met the Data Section Chief, Ms. Arofah. She gave us Brebes in Figures. The third was the Department of Forestry and Plantation. We met the chief (Mr. Eko Andalas) and his subordinate (Mr.). Unfortunately, the Conservation Division was void so we got nothing. The promised to give the data later.

Then, we went to Ciregol, Tonjong. We surveyed at 3 points: downstream of the Pedes and Glagah rivers junction, Pedes upstream of the junction and Glagah upstream of the junction. At each point we measured the flowrate, took the bed load, suspended solid samples, took the coordinate using GPS gadget, and measured the existing boulder.

At 18:00 we arrived at Bumiayu. We had dinner in a food stall. We checked in the Salsadelila Hotel.

Going to Brebes

It was Wednesday. In the morning at 09:00 I joined the plenary meeting of the Provincial Water Resources Council in the Wadaslintang Room, the Office of Water Resources Authority. The meeting was led by Mr. Prasetyo but in the last part of the time Mr. Ketut replaced him. It concluded at 14:00.

At 15:00 I and Nuri went to the Giant Supermarket, Karangayu to buy sandals and short trousers. They would be used for a river survey.

At 18:00 I, Legimin, Niko, Andreas, Putra, and the driver went to Brebes. At 22:00 we arrived at the Dedi Jaya Hotel, Brebes where we were overnight. The hotel was a modest one but seemed better than Susana Baru Hotel.

Surveying

It was Tuesday. In the morning we had breakfast at the hotel. They provided modest dishes, chicken soup and chicken spicy soup. I asked a cup coffee to end my breakfast.

Pranoto rent a car for the direction team. We then when to the Provincial WR Management Office to get more data. Pranoto continued to fetch the directing team at the station. They were Mrs. Rantika and Mr. Teguh. There was also Mr. Tatang, the machine bore specialist. Putra the student was with them. Pranoto led them to the office.

After finishing with the office we went to a stall to have breakfast. Then, we went to Pedes tributary in Ciregol area. Mr. Darmawan analysis the situation. Bor points were chosen. We finished at 14:00. We had lunch on side.

At 16:00 we were at the station.  Mr. Darmawan, Mr. Teguh, Mrs. Rantika, and Mr. Tatang went back to Semarang by train. I, Pranoto, Putra, and the driver went back to Semarang by car. At 21:00 I arrived at home.

Proclamation Day

It was Monday. It was August the 17th, the Indonesia Independence Proclamation Day.

Neighborhood Gathering

It was Sunday.
In the evening I joined the neighborhood gathering to celebrate the proclamation day. We installed plastic carpet and we the members sat on. We were still there chatting and distributing prizes to the children. At about a community leader and his subordinates came. He gave speech and circulated the independent greeting. After they left we dismissed.

Anindya Coming Home

It was Saturday. I washed the car in the morning. I involved much energy to do it. Nuri made the house tidy because Anindya and Dastan would came.

At 11:00 I went to the laboratory. I kept my word to meet several people. Pranoto, Suharyanto, and Priyo were there. We discussed our plan to go to Brebes. The decision was that we would go to Brebes twice. The first trip would be on Tuesday consisting of directing team (2 people),  Pranoto, Dirmawan, me and a student. The objective was to select the boring points. The second trip would be on Thursday consisting of me, 2 students, and 2 laborants. The objective was to walk-through the rivers to enumerate structures inside.

At 17:00 Anindya and Dastan came home. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Djoni. After they left Adri came to visit me. He had checked in the Ibis Hotel and came here by a hotel taxi.

At 19:00 I and Nuri joined a wedding party in Gumaya Hotel. Adyati and hubby managed it to celebrate the marriage of their son, Wahyu. He married to. In the party I met Hariyoto, Took,  Adri, Noeri, Nurul, Indahingsih, Suratmin, Haryati, Robiyati, and Heni.

Being at Home

It was Thursday. In the morning Nuri reported that the kitten dead. We buried him in the front yard.

The day was so hot.  I slept much. I was still at home. Nuri wanted to go out but then she liked to sleep rather than to go.

Seeing a Doctor

It was Wednesday. At 09:00 I and Nuri went to the Kariadi Hospital to see Doctor Suharti. It was the time to control my health. I got #7 to see her. Nuri went to the china town for shopping. I was still in the hospital waiting. At 11:15 I saw the doctor. She was accompanied by her two assistants. My blood pressure was 140/80. The doctor team told that my condition was stable. I need to see them three months later. However, I had to control my blood pressure every month at the puskesmas (public health center). The gave me a reference letter.

In waiting for the medicine I met Mr. and Mrs Sudiono again. I had met the previously in the doctor waiting room. Nuri then joined me again. At 12:15 I received the medicine, amlodipin 5mg 30 tablets for a month.

At 14:30 I joined Mr. Suharyanto and Mr. Priyo to meet the directive team in the management office. They were Ms. Rantika and Mr. Teguh.

After being at home I made an afternoon walk along the West Floodway side for about 50 minutes.

Walking

It was Tuesday. At 09:00 I and Nuri went to the Sehat Pharmacy to buy my medicines. After paying off I dropped Nuri at the Restaurant on Jalan Singosari. She joined the monthly gathering of ITB alumni wives. Then,  I continued to the laboratory.

I was about 3 hours there. As usual we discussed our progress and program. At 13:30 I left the laboratory and went to the Water Resources Agency Office . I stopped by the pharmacy to take my medicines. In the office I delivered back the drawings we borrowed yesterday. Nur received them.

In the afternoon I made a walk. I traced the riverside of the West Floodway.

Hard Day

It was Monday. In the morning I went to the laboratory to meet the team. We prepared to give presentation of our progress in front of the directive team. Because the exact time had not been informed to us I and Pranoto went to the Water Resources Agency Office. We met Mr. Kunarto and we made a short discussion. Then we went to the Office of Road Planning and Supervision. We met Mr. Bhima and Mr. Astianto and again we had a brief discussion.

At 15:00 as scheduled I, Ms. Wati, Pranoto, the students (Andreas, Niki,  and Putra) came to the Pemali Juana River Basins Management Office. We had long discussion about the progress with the directive team. At 18:00 I arrived at home.

Going Back to Semarang

It was Sunday.  In the morning after having breakfast I checked out of the hotel. I,  Anindya, and Dastan went to their boarding house. They need to have shower and change their clothes.

At 12:00 I, Anindya, Dastan, and Bibik went to a restaurant on Jalan Wijaya where an Eid Festival Gathering was managed. The host was Seta while the attendants were my schoolmates in highschool. They were Endi, Bambang, Tono, Wiwik, Gowik, Mustika, Wuryani,  etc. At 14:00 I left the gathering.

I, Anindya, Dastan, and Bibik went to Plaza Indonesia. We had lunch in the Marces Restaurant. I had a plate of rosti and smoked salmon. At 15:30 we left the place.

We rushed to the airport. At 16:15 we arrived at the Soetta Airport Terminal 1C. They dropped me there and went back to their house. I checked in. At 18:15 Batik Air flight ID6346 brought me to Semarang. At 19:15 I landed. Nuri fetched me home. At 20:00 I arrived at home.

Birthday

It was Saturday. It was August the 8th, my birthday. Today I was 60 year old. Tono paid his greeting when we were having breakfast in the hotel dining room. My highschool mates sent the greeting through Whatsapp application. My ITB Civil Engineering schoolmates gave the greeting in the Columbia yoghurt counter.

At 11:00 I joined the ITB students batch 1975 in the Aula Barat where the Great Reunion 40 year, the day 2 was organized. We were served with lunch than singing. Some of the students were truly good singers. At 14:00 I and Tono left the reunion.

We had our prayer in the hotel. Then, we checked out and left the hotel. We led to Semarang. At 18:30 we arrived the Pop Hotel. I checked in and Tono continued his trip to his house.

At 19:30 I joined Anindya, Dastan, and Bibik in the Roppan Resto in the Kota Kasablangka. We had dinner.

Reunion the Day 1

It was Friday. In the morning I went to the Pemali Juana River Basins Management Office to join the team.  The team was invited by the office to express the progress report.  The team was Ms.  Wati, Mr. Pranoto, and the students.  Unfortunately,  the officers postponed the meeting because they themselves had to manage a meeting with the boss.

At 12:00 I joined the Friday prayer at Masjid Attaqwa.

At 16:00 I flew to Bandung by Wing Air flight IW1897. At 17:00 I landed at the Husein Sastranegara airport of Bandung. By an airport taxi I arrived at the Patrajasa Hotel. I joined Tono at room #116.

At 19:00 I joined the Great Reunion of ITB Students Class 1975. The reunion was managed in the Aula Barat ITB. About 200 former students joined the reunion.

Raining

It was Thursday.  In the morning Rahutama dropped me in the Lab.  At 09:00 I,  Mr. Pranoto,  and Ms. Wati had a meeting with Mr. Neni. She was the one would work on economic analysis. We were discussing the scope of work.

After zuhr time I and Mr. Pranoto went to the office of Central Java Water Resources Agency to meet Mr. Kunarto. However,  until 14:30 he didn't show up. The staff told us he was teaching in the Training Center. So,  we went home. He dropped me at home.

In the evening it was was raining ☔ for about an hour. The showering I have made previously was no worthy.

Widrawing Salary

It was Wednesday. In the morning I joined qigong in the temple hall. The participants were 11 people. The laoshi was in.  We practiced chenqi, laqi, pengqi guanding, and sanxin zhuang.

At 10:00 was in the lab.  I was discussing some matters with Pranoto.

At 14:15 I was in the Bank Jateng office on Jalan Pemuda to withdraw money. It was my pension salary.

Nuri Coming Home

It was Tuesday. At 08:00 I went to the Office of Planning and Supervising National Road in Sumurboto area. I met Pranoto and together to see the man in charge on the designing of Ciregol sheetpile. Unfortunately,  he was not in so we have to reschedule for another day.

At 10:15 I was in the Poncol Station area to fetch Nuri. She arrived at 10:45, it means it was 30 minutes late.

In the afternoon I accompanied Nuri shopping at the Superindo market, Karangayu.

Officing

It was Monday.  I and Rahutama went to a porridge vendor on Jalan Indraprasta.  It was a bubur ayam jakarta counter. We had our breakfast there.

At 08:30 I went to the lab.  It was my first day officing after Eid season. I met Ms. Wati,  Mr. Priyo,  Mr. Suharyanto,  and Mr. Pranoto. We had a brief discussion about the work progress.

At 14:30 I went back home. I bought 2 packs of nasi padang. It costed Rp20.000 each. We had nasi padang for our late lunch.

Reunion

It was Sunday. In the morning I just ate a pier for my breakfast. At 10:00 I left home to join a gathering in Banyumanik area.

The gathering was a courtesy gathering to celebrate the Eid Fitr. We, the former employees of Central Java water supply project gathered at Bambang Pudjo's house. He, Abdul Chalim, and Priyo managed it. I met Mr. Setyoso, Mr. Muhammad, Mrs. Sumaryati, etc. At 13:00 I went home.

Being at Home

It was Saturday. I was still at home to recover my stamina. Rahutama bought nasi pecel from Mbak Ida kiosk for our breakfast. In the evening he bought me nasi pecel from Yu Sri for my dinner.

In the afternoon Rahutama went out to join eid ul fitr reunion. He met his school mates.
