Going Home

It was Friday.  I joined the Friday prayer in Masjid Attaqwa,  Bondowoso. The preacher told at least 2 things. First,  the most fortunate people were those being long life and better. Second,  people should be doing anything with sincere because of Allah,  maximizing their expertise and energy and getting them done.

At 14:00 I and Rahutama left the house for Semarang. We took the route of Bondowoso - Basuki - Probolinggo - Pasuruan - Gempol - toll road - Lamongan - Tuban - Rembang - Pati - Kudus - Demak - Semarang. We had nasi boranan for our dinner at Lamongan. We arrived at home the next day at  02:30.

Bondowoso Railway Station

It was Thursday. I was still in Bondowoso. After zuhur time I and Rahutama went to the station to take pictures.

Railway Station was not active right now. It was halted at about the year 2004. The surrounding was occupied by people. However, now the railway corporation is restoring the station building. Rumours said that the corporation would revitalize the track,  from Kalisat to Panarukan. To maintain the corporation activity in Bondowoso the building is used to sell the tickets.

The building is beautiful. We made some pictures from many angles.

Going Around

It was Wednesday. In the morning I and Rahutama went to several towns surrounding the Raung Vulcano, from Bondowoso to Sukowono, Kalisat, Glenmore, Rogojampi, Sambi, Banyuwangi, Baluran, Arjasa, Situbondo, Panarukan, Prajekan, Bondowoso. I started at 09:00 and finished 18:30.

‹p>Sukowono and Kalisat were a distinct of the Jember Regency. They were interesting because they were on the railway line Kalisat-Panarukan. The line then was inactivated. The track was still clear. It a rumour that the authority would activate again.

The national road Jember - Banyuwangi was quite good but still narrow. It was to us to pass the front car.

Banyuwangi was a wide and clean city. The traffic was also regulatedly well. It had an airport, the Blimbingsari Airport. Although the runway was only 1400m, it could easily be extend without any more land acquisition. The big terminal building was now under construction.

Joining a Wedding Party

It was Tuesday. I was in the house. I used the time to recover my body from tiredness. In the morning we welcomed guests, Mr. Didik and his grandson.

In the evening I, Nuri, Mbak Poppy, Mbak Eli, and Mbak Yayuk came to Hotel Palem to join a wedding party. It was organized by Mr. Huzaini Effendi to celebrate the marriage of his son, Sondra Romadhan.He married to Intan Dwi Permata Sari.

Going to Bondowoso

It was Monday. In the morning we got breakfast in the hotel dining room. It was free of charge since the wedding committee gave us breakfast vouchers. We met many Nuri's relatives and had socialization.

At about 09:30 we checked out of the hotel to go to Bondowoso. We stopped at 4 places. The first place was Mbak Poppy's house in Kutisari Housing. We met Pak Dji and Mbok. The second place was Anis' house in Pandaan. We met Yuli and Reyfan. We passed my notebook for Nadia. The third place was Bank Mandiri Probolinggo where I confirmed someone's effort to access my credit card account. The forth place was a rest area Irama Raya in Paiton where we had our late lunch.

At 17:00 we arrived at our house in Bondowoso. We met Mas Andi, Mbak Poppy, and Mbak Tely.

Going to Surabaya

It was Sunday. In the morning at 05:40 I, Nuri, and Rahutama went to Jogja. The house was under supervision of Bu Kus. Before entering Pati we stopped by at the Dua Kelinci Rest Spot. We had breakfast there.

The traffic was flowing so at 13:30 we arrived at the Novotel Hotel, Ngagel Surabaya. We checked in the room #236.

At 16:00 we joined a garden party to celebrate the marriage of Arya and Tyas on the pool side of the hotel. Arya is the son of Om Iwantono, Nuri's relative. The party was moderate, a music band was provided. They also served few varieties of dishes but they were tasty.

Anindya Going to Jakarta

It was Saturday. At 15:00 I and Nuri accompanied Anindya, Dastan, and Bibik going to the airport. They would go to Jakarta by Lion Air scheduled to depart at 16:45. As usual the airport was busy. So, after they had checked in I and Nuri left them.

In the morning I was relaxed at home. Mr. and Mrs. Djoni came to have Dastan riding around.

In the afternoon Rahutama took the car for washing at a washing station. Argi, Aly, and Zaky came home to take their car. They were just arriving from Jakarta.

After dropping Anindya in the airport I and Nuri went to the Bulu market to buy lime. Then, we went to bread counters in Kariadi Hospital area and on Jalan Kaligarang. Fancy bread was hard to obtain in that time.

Fitri Coming

It was Friday. I was absent of the Qigong. Anindya and Dastas was home in the morning. I joined the Friday prayer at Masjid Attaqwa.

After prayer time Fitri, Lia, Aning, and Damar came. The paid a courtesy visit.

In the afternoon I and Dastan watered the frontyard. He seemed very happy.

Bibik Coming

It was Thursday. In the morning Peni told her permission to continue going to Jakarta. Rahutama accompanied her to the airport. I did not go for Qigong.

Nuri, Anindya, and Dastan were out to massage Dastan and to fetch Bibik. But they did not meet each other. Bibik came at 15:00 by a taxi and Nuri, Anindya, and Dastan cane at about 15:30. Bagus was with them. He brought a package of pizza. Anindya, Bagus, and Dastan were overnight on Erlangga.

In the evening I and Nuri went to Giant Supermarket, Karangayu to buy a mosquito racket. We got it at Rp60,000. It could be separated into 2 parts: the flashlight and the racket parts. The flashlight part was the charged part.

Many Guests

It was Wednesday. In the morning I joined the dawn prayer in Masjid Attaqwa. Then, at 05:45 I went to the temple halk to join Qigong session. Only 5 people attended the session. We practiced chenqi, laqi, pengqi guanding, and sanxin zhuang.

It was the first workday after the Eid ul Fitr holiday. However, the traffic was still rare. Before zuhr time I and Nuri went to get my medicines. On the way home we bought pecel for our lunch.

At 14:00 Mahardi, Erna, Theta, Firda, and Faris were coming by. The were on the way to Pemalang. At 15:309 the left after we had social chat. Dastan performed a good manner.

At 16:00 Anindya went out to join a gathering of her colleagues. Dastan was with her. On arriving home Anindya told us Dastan had been annoying.

In the evening Peni came to Semarang by Daytrans travel. I and Nuri picked her up from the pool. Peni was on the way to Semarang. She would fly by Batik Air tomorrow.

Wongart Lovers

It was Tuesday. In the evening I, Nuri, Anindya, and Dastan went out to have dinner. Our destination was RnD Resto on Marina area but it closed due to Lebaran Festival. So, we seek for another one. We then embarked in the Wongart Lover Resto. I did not know their concept but the dishes were so common. The point was that the place was cozy though oil smoke was detected. I ordered sotobandeng, a kind of soup with milkfish was the main ingredient. The taste was good. It was recommended.

In the morning I joined Qigong in the temple hall. The participants were only 6 people. We practiced chenqi, pengqi guanding, and short xingshen zhuang.

Grand Edge

It was Monday. We were still at home. We assumed that the traffic in or out of the town was still dense or congested.

In the evening I and Nuri accompanied Anindya and Dastan attending a reunion in the Grand Edge Building. It was a new building in the Kagok area. On the second floor it located a food court that offered varieties of food. Anindya and Dastan joined her classmates at a food stall. I and Nuri were away tasting ketoprak dish.

Being at Home

It was Sunday. I got up at 04:30, prayed, and slept again. I got up again at 08:00. Nuri, Bagus, and Dastan came and went again to get breakfast.

This day I and Rahutama planned to Gunungkidul but because he got up late I aborted to go. Pri, Mahardi, and Makchul clans went there.

This afternoon Bagus went to Purwokerto so Anindya and Dastan were overnight at home.

Going Back to Semarang

It was Saturday. We checked out of the hotel at 10:00 after having breakfast at Es Eny Resto. We went to Salaman to say bye to the family.

I and Nuri got off at Kauman to visit my mother's and father's graves. Then we join others in the family's house. Bekti and his wife came to visit. After they left, Mr. Abd Mrs. Djoni, and also Bagus came. They fetched Anindya and Dastan for going back to Semarang.

After they left we left for Semarang. We used the same route as the route we came. At maghrib time we arrived at the Banaran Cafe, Bawen. Almost at the same time Mr. Djoni and the group arrived at the same place. We shared the table.

At 18:30 we separated to go to our house respectively. At about 19:00 we arrived at home.

Eid ul Fitr

It was Friday. The Red Friday (Jumat Pahing 15). It was Eid ul Fitr 1346 H. In the morning I, Nuri, and Rahutama went to Masjid Agung Magelang to join Congregation Eid Prayer. The preacher told it was the time to commit 4 behaviors: lebur, lebar, labur, and labur.

We had breakfast in the hotel. The hotel provided varieties of good food. I just ate omelette and vegetables.

At 10:00 we checked out and went to Salaman. In Salaman we met Adi's family: Adi, Kanti, Dita, and Rani. We met also Utari's family: Utari, Nadib, Mansyur (n wife n son), Zizah, and Wafik. At 14:00 went to Magelang and checked in the Citihub Hotel. It was a budget hotel.

Going to Magelang

It was Thursday. It was the day 29th of Ramadan. At 10:45 I, Nuri, Anindya, Rahutama, and Dastan went to Magelang. The house was given to be under supervision of Bu Kus. Our route was Semarang, Semarang - Bawen Toll Road, Salatiga, Kopeng, Tegalrejo, and Magelang. At 13:30 we checked in the Sriti Hotel rooms #4 and #5.

Sriti Hotel was a middle cost hotel. It was very good. A small swimming pool was provided but I did not anticipate to bring a swimsuit. We had chaomian and fried rice to break our fasting.

At maghrib time I met Gatot and his wife. Their sons were overnight here. They had their dinner at a foodstall in front of the hotel.

Then, I, Nuri, Anindya, Rahutama, and Dastan went to Salaman. We met Bulik War, Paklik Santo, Adi, Esti, Asri, Peni, Dede, Gilang, Tari, and Tika. Nasi megana was available so we had it.

Seeing the Doctor

It was Wednesday. It was the day 28th of Ramadhan. I, Nuri, Anindya, Rahutama, and Bibik got up early for getting breakfast. As usual I did not consumed rice.

At 09:00 I went to the office by a taxi. I paid it Rp25:000. I joined a meeting led by Mrs. Nita to compose a preparation for water resources council meeting. The participants were Mr. Suhartono, Mr. Agus, Mr. Sutrisno, Mr. Bena, Mr. Pangestu, and Mr. Sucipto. The preparation was in a modest mode since the existing of the council was not on a strong position.

At 11:00 I was fetched by Nuri to Kariadi Hospital, Garuda Clinic. We saw Doctor Suharti. A laboratory examination report of my blood was shown to her and the assistant. It was ok. My blood pressure was 140/80. As usual amlodipine 5mg was prescribed. At 12:00 we left the hospital.

We went to the DP Mall to pay off our car annual tax. In waiting to the service hour of 13:00 we shopped in the Carrefour. At 13:30 we entered the tax counter. The clerk refused to serve us because we did not bring the ownership book (BPKP). Anindya then settled the business in the afternoon.

After maghrib time I went to the garbage picking man on Gang Buto. I gave him money part of the zakah maal.

At 18:30 I went to the Masjid Attaqwa to deliver our zakah fitra and zakah maal. At 19:15 I joined the Isha prayer and then traweh prayer in the masjid.

Anindya Coming

It was Tuesday. In the morning we got up to maintain our fast by having early breakfast. My menu was young jackfruit curry, steamed egg, and steamed japanese pumpkin.

At 08:30 I went to the Lab. There were few people there. I was just to be sure that the dropbox had been installed. At 12:00 I left the lab.

I went directly to the station to fetch Anindya. I arrived there at 12:45. After being there for a while Anindya, Dastan, and Bibik showed up at 13:10. They just arrived from Surabaya by Sembrani Coaches. At 14:00 we arrived at home. The traffic was so dense.

At 17:00 we went to Nglaras Rasa Resto on Jalan Thamrin to join a fasting breaking. Mrs. Djoni invited us. I, Nuri, Anindya, Dastan, Bibik, Mr. Djoni, Mrs. Djoni, Dimas, Zilpa, Om Beni, and Celo gathered.

On arriving at home Asri, Argi, Aly, and Zaky came. We talked about our planning to celebrate Id al Fitr. Dastan was so close to Argi.

At 21:00 Dede, Esti, Gilang, Tari, and Tika came. We had a social talk. At 11:00 they left for a hotel.

Signing a Contract

It was Monday. It was the 26th of Ramadan. We still maintained our fasting.

At 09:00 I and Nuri went to the Elizabeth Hospital to get a reference paper. After several arguments we got it. In the new regulation the patient should be checked by a doctor before he/she was forwarded to a higher level hospital.

At 10:30 I went to the Lab to join the colleagues. The traffic was congested due to the addition traffic from Jakarta. At 11:15 I arrived there. Pranoto, Haryanto, Priyo, and Hari were in.

At 15:30 I went to Mr. Hidayat's house. There were many papers that I had to put my signature on. It was associating to the new contract on monitoring the dryness. The contract started in June and would end in November2015. I was arrived at home at 16:45.

Rahutama Coming

It was Sunday. I was still at home. We had our eary breakfast at 03:00. Our menu was so simple: kidney bean soup and fried tofu. I add a small portion of rice.

At 10:00 Pak Yus came to service the air conditioner. It was a regular service. In the afternoon Bu Kus came to fetch our zakah. Then, I and Nuri cut a kersen tree that growing on the fence. After maghrib time Rahutama came. He is from Jogjakarta.

This day we were informed that Anindya, Dastan, and Bibik arrived at Mbak Poppy's house in Surabaya. Lanjutannya...

Going Out

It was Saturday. We still maintained our early breakfast. I slept again after praying while Nuri was busy to wash our clothes.

At 08:00 we went out. We went to Puskesmas Pandanaran to get a reference paper. Then, we went to Elizabeth Hospital to get its consent. Unfortunately, the BPJS officer was off duty so we postponed to get it till Monday. We went to the Kariadi Hospital Garuda Clinic to put my blood sample. The parking area was spacious. Our next destination was a cashier car on Jalan Puspagiwang where we paid off our power invoice. The last was Giant Supermarket where Nuri bought a bottle of syrup.

Meeting Being Postponed

It was Friday. It was the day 22 of Ramadan. I and Nuri maintained to have early breakfast.

At 08:00 I went to the office because I received an invitation from Ms. Nita. However, when I arrived there Niken told me that the meeting was postponed. It was so disappointing.

I came to Mr. Agus' room just to kill the time. In that room there were also Mr. Agung and Mr. Surawan. We talked till 11:00.

At zuhr time I joined the congregation prayer in Masjid Attaqwa. In the afternoon I walked from Superindo to home. In the evening I and Nuri bought pecel from Yu Sri counter.

Being at Home

It was Wednesday. I and Nuri got up at 03:00 for having early breakfast. It was Ramadan 21st. My menu was apple, fried tofu, young jack fruit dish, and pepes. I slept after praying. At 10:00 I got up. Nuri was out to settle several items. I wiped and mopped the floor. At 14:00 Nuri was home. In the afternoon Mrs. Suprijanto came to take her new cloth. Nuri tailored it. Cutting Hair

It was Wednesday. I and Nuri still underwent fasting. My menu was persimmon, pepes, and bokchoy. I slept after praying.

At about 08:00 Bu Widodo came to pass her money for the pot of the monthly gathering. I was writing a mail for the Bank Mandiri clerk. The mail then was sent to him. The mail was application letter as his request to back up my bank supporting letter.

At 11:00 I and Nuri went to Tembalang area. We stopped by the Gajahmungkur fueling station to widraw money ang to refill the gasoline. Nuri got up at SimSix Resto to join the gathering. I continued to go to the Lab. In the lab I met Mr. Pranoto, discussed a matter for a while, directed Putra to open a storage account, and went back home. I picked Nuri up. We stopped by the Sarika Pharmacy to get my medicines.

After having afternoon sleep I made an afternoon walk. At 17:38 I broke the fasting. At 19:00 I came to Cak Rus Barbershop to trim my hair. The cost was Rp15.000, increased from Rp12.000 at last month.

Dining Out

It was Tuesday. We still had early breakfast together. I just consumed aplle, bokchoy stir fry, and omelette. Rahutama was leaving for Jogja. I slept after praying.

At 10:00 I went to the Lab. I, Mr. Pranoto, Mr. Suharyanto, Mr. Priyo, and Ms. Wati gathered to discuss the progress. At 14:15 I left the lab for the Grad Study campus in Pleburan to meet Mr. Wawan. I received the soft copy of Glagah river design report.

In the evening I and Nuri went to Dulnumani's counter to have our simple dinner. Then, we shopped in Hypermart, Paragon Mall.

Failing

It was Monday. It was the day 19th of Ramadan. We still maintained our fasting. We had early breakfast in the morning at 03:30. My menu was corn soup and steamed broccoli.

After praying I was still awakening. I tried to make my proposal done. At 08:30 I went to the Mandiri Bank Pandanaran to make a Bank Support. By 10:00 I got it. I went home and continued my work. At 11:30 the proposal was done and I sent it to the committee electronically. I failed, the internet connection was slow. The dateline was 12:00.

At 12:30 I went to the lab to see the work. Pranoto was there and 3 student were helping him. At 15:30 I went back home.

In the evening Asri and Argy came to have social chat.

Blacking Out Again

It was Sunday. At 02:00 we got the same problem, blacking out. So, the same experience was underway. We had early breakfast in the darkness.

At 10:00 Pak Rozi and the colleague were called. They again solved the problem in an hour. It just simple, we did not turn the MCB when it was down.

In the evening Mr. and Mrs. Djoni came to pass vegetables etc. They were just from Bandungan. They shopped some stuffs and shared then to us. Lanjutannya...

Blacking Out

It was Saturday. It was the day 17th of Ramadan. We at 01:30 experienced blacking out at home. One of six MCBs was down but lamps inside the house were shutdown. At the same time our rat trap catched a rat. It was the first time we got it.

At 03:00 we had our early breakfast in darkness. Nuri fired candles to shine on her preparing dishes. So did we on having breakfast.

In the morning we asked pak Rozi to solve the problem. He was with his colleague. In an hour they successfully made the lamps on. We paid Rp150:000 for the service.

Being at Home.

It was Friday. We were in 3 having early breakfast. Rahutama had come last night. My menu was an egg and mushroom stir fry. I slept again after praying. Breaking in a Masjid

It was Thursday. It was the day 15 of the Ramadan. My early breakfast was just a boiled egg and vegetables. Nuri had more variety.

At 10:00 Nuri went to Ada Supermarket to have monthly shopping. I was still at home. I tried to composed my tender proposal to KIPP but I was no endurance to continue it to the end.

At maghrib time I joined the jamaah in Masjid Attaqwa to break our fasting. I also joined the maghrib prayer.

Getting an Antivirus

It was Wednesday. It was July, the first. I and Nuri got up in the morning to have early breakfast. I consumed omelet and vegetables. As usual I went to bad after praying.

 

At 13:00 I went to the Bank Jateng on Jalan Pemuda to withdraw my salary. It was my July and the 13th month salaries. There were many withdrawers so I was at the long behind in the line. I met Kirherman and a guy from my former office. At 12:30 I finished the business. I went to the Simpanglima Plaza to buy an anti virus. I bought a Kaspersky product at Rp285.000. In the afternoon I installed it in my notebook.
