Nyadran

This day I joined the nyadran festival again in Salaman. Nyadran is a gathering to make a muslim grave tidy. It is not a muslim practice but traditional muslim javanese usually organize it. I came at 10:30 when the gathering was ongoing. I met many old acquaintances. The gathering was over at 12:00.

I got up at 04:00 and prepared myself to go. Rahutama picked Peni up from the Tawang. I met Agus Tri at the street to pass my gift for Widodo. I, Peni and Rahutama went to Salaman at 06:30. We had our breakfast at Banaran Cafe. In Salaman there were Esti, Gilang, Mahardi, Erna, Teta, Firda, Faris, Fitri, Damar, Aning and .

In the evening I joined a wedding party at Grha Sabha Pramana in Jogya. It was a party organized by Prof Djoko Legono to celebrate the marriage of his son, Debriadi Harset which married to Dwi Trisna Silantoyo. Prof Djoko Legono was my advisor when I served in Progo Bogowonto Lukulo Water Resources Management Office, Kutoarjo. Rahutama, Adi and Gilang dropped me there. I met Mr Guntoro.

Signing a Contract

At 16:00 in the Karla's room I signed a contract. It was my first contract since I became an individual consultant. Although I signed it today the contract started at Juni 1. 2012 since I have been working since that date. All of the stamp duties was on my expense.

I got up at 05:00, prayed and got ready for walk. My route was Jalan Pamularsih, Jalan Puspawarna Tengah, Jalan Sudirman and Jalan Bojongsalaman. My will to buy steamed corn was cancelled because the vendor was not on duty. Bu Kus came home to help me preparing food. I washed the car. I left home for the office at 08:10. Mr Zaenal was in. Usual Day

This mornin I woke up at 03:00. I slept again after having early breakfast and praying. I went to the office at 07:45. It was few vehicles on the street in my direction. However, dense traffic was on the reverse.

This morning Nuri and Mbak Poppy went to Jakarta. They used Argo Muria Coachs scheduled to depart from Tawang Station at 05:30. Rahutama dropped them.

I got up at 03:00 and prayed. At 05:00 I had dawn prayed and slept again. At 08:05 I left home for the office. The office organized remembrance of the prophet ascension after zuhr time. I joined it. I passed Nuri's brouch to Tika (Mrs Agus's daughter). I left the office at 16:10

Mbak Poppy Coming Home

At 18:00 Nuri and Rahutama went to Tawang Station to pick Mbak Poppy up. She was scheduled to arrive there at 18:30 by Rajawali Coachs. At 19:00 they arrived at home.

I got up at 05:00, prayed and walked. I traced Jalan Pamularsih, Jalan Puspowarno Tengah, Jalan Sudirman and Jalan Bojongsalaman. I went to the office at 07:50. I worked to explore Minister Rule 21/2010. At 16:30 I went home.

Usual Day

I got up at 03:00, had early breakfast, prayed and slept again. Rahutama was awake to watch a football game of European Cup. It was England against Italy. I went to the office at 07:50.

It was usual in the office. I did almost nothing because we were in a waiting for a meeting. I tried to outline a report. At 16:10 I left the office. I broke my fasting at 17:32.

Usual Day

It was no special this day. I got up at 04:50, showered, prayed and slept again. Nuri made nasi goreng for my breakfast. Yu Ti came home to help Nuri.

In the afternoon I walked through Kaligarang Bridge, Jalan Basudewo and Banjirkanal Bridge. On the I passed a marriage souvenir to Mr Harsono. At his house a young man received it. In the evening I and Nuri came to Giant Supermarket for shopping.

Joining a Wedding Party

In the evening at the Pontjowati Ballroom, Patrajasa Hotel, I and Nuri joined a wedding party. Mr Rahman Wahyu AK celebrated the marriage of his daughter, Rahmania Fitria Eka Yuliati and Dindin Prameswara. Among the guests were Mr Djumono, Mr Novianto, Mr Zaenal, Bena, Ktut Suryana, Ktut Artana. Mr Eko, Mr Sri Pur, Sukadi and Haryono acted as receptionists. Mr Rahman served us with tasty dinner.

I got up at 03:00, had night prayer then dawn prayer and slept. In the morning I wiped the floor and Rahutama continued it with mopping. At 12:00 I was with Rahutama going to Anil Tailor to make his suit jacket. On the way home we took our clothes from the loundry.

Usual Day

Life was going as usual. I got up at 04:35, prayed, fixed my batik shirts button and walked. The route was Jalan Pamularsih, Jalan Puspogiwang Tengah, Jalan Sudirman and Jalan Bojongsalaman. The corn vendor at Puspanjolo casual market was not in duty. I couldn't buy corn. I left home for the office at 07:50.

I tried to do anything. I joined the Jumat Prayer at the Salman al Farisyi mosque. At 15:10 I left the office. At 17:30 Dimas, a friend of Rahutama came by. Then, Rahutama were out with him.

Usual Day

It was Thursday, the day for voluntary fasting. The clock was alarming me for having early breakfast. It was 03:00. I had banana, rice and kidney bean soup. I slept after having dawn prayer.

I left home at 07:50 for the office. It was almost fuel running out. I added it at Jalan Sudirman PFU. I was in the office until 16:10. I arrived at home at 17:00. The rain had just stopped, local rain. I broke my fasting at 17:31. Nuri made yum sweet (kolak tales) for me.

I got up at 05:00, prayed and prepared myself for walking. The route was Kaligarang Bridge, Jalan Basudewa and Banjirkanal Bridge. On the Puspanjolo casual market I bought steamed corn, and sticky rice. I went to the office at 08:00 by car.

This afternoon at 16:00 Anindya went to Jakarta by Argo Sindoro Coachs. I and Nuri were with here on her way to Tawang Station. It was the reason I left the office early.

I got up late so I lost my time to have early breakfast. I decided to abandon voluntary fasting. I dawn prayed and slept again. At 07:50 Rahutama and Anindya dropped me at the Karangayu Trans Semarang bus stop. At a workshop nearby I utilized the rest room. I arrived at the office at 08:45. I involved a discussion with Mr Niam and Mr Zaenal. I left the office at 14:30.

Visiting Exhibition

It was my last opportunity to see a computer exhibition in Java Mall because it was the last day. So, I got there at 11:00. Several stands had been dismantled but the remainings were ok. I was impressed by a transparant CPU and thinking to have it. At 13:00 I went back home.

I got up at 05:00, prayed and slept again. At 07:45 I walked through Jalan Puspawarno Barat, Jalan Sudirman and Jalan Bojongsalaman. Nuri picked Yu Ti up from Brumbungan. As usual Yu Ti helped her to execute house works. After maghrib time I and Rahutama went to Togamas Bookstore at Jalan MT Haryono to buy a pack of 70mg A4 paper. Then, we went to Matahari Simpanglima 4th floor to by printer ink.

Anindya Coming Home

This morning at 04:30 Anindya came home. She went to Semarang by Argo Bromo Anggrek Coachs scheduled to arrive at Semarang at 03:30 but the fact it reached Tawang at 04:00. Bagus pick her up.

I got up at 05:00, prayed and slept again. Nuri bought me nasi pecel for the breakfast. At 10:00 I joined a gathering of public works retired people at Jratunseluna Guest House, Papandayan. About 40 persons (the retired people and their spouses) joined it. Mr Hamim, Mr B Luwiyo, Mr Supriyo, Ms Suwarto and Ms Wisma were some of them. Joining a Wedding Party

This evening I and Nuri joined a wedding party managed by our neighbour, Ms Gimo, to celebrate the marriage of his son, Nandang Pramono (Geyong) and Mei Mayanti. The party was organized at her home in a simple condition. However, she seemed happy and so the guests.

I got up at 05:00, prayed and walked. Rahutama went out to buy porridge for his breakfast. I walked along Jalan Basudewa and Jalan Bojongsalaman. It took 50 minutes. On the way home I bought steamed corn (blendung / grontol) and steamed dried cassava (gatotan) for my first breakfast. I left home for the office at 08:00. Configuring the Room

I got up at 03:50 and in a hurry I had early breakfast. After dawn praying I slept again. At 07:50 Nuri dropped me at Karangayu bus stop. I used Trans Semarang bus to go to the office. I aRrived there at 08:30.

I and Mr Zaenal configured the room. Two office boys helped us. It was my main work this day. I left the office at 16:00. As usual Rahutama got me home.

Breakfast at KFC

It was long time since my last visit at a KFC outlet so I did not know the circumstance was. This morning I and Nuri came to a KFC outlet in Jalan Pandanaran to have breakfast. Our main purpose was actually to use 2 vouchers given by Anindya to have breakfast at a KFC outlet because we are not familiar to have breakfast out. It was surprising that KFC had numerous items for breakfast such pom pom, scrambled egg, porridge, striker, waffle and pancake. So, I tried a cup of porridge and scrambled egg while Nuri stuck to her favorite, pancake. The food was actually ok, but I thought we did not came back again to have another breakfast.

I got up at 03:45, had night and then dawn prayer. A 1 hour sleep was enough to make me feeling good. Nuri made brocolli and potato in cheese gravy for my lunch. It was packaged in a tied can. At 07:30 I and Nuri went to the Pandanaran KFC outlet to have breakfast. Then, she dropped me at a Trans Semarang bus stop. At 09:00 I arrived at the office. Receiving a Certificate

This day I received a compentency certificate on hydraulic engineering. I took it the assessment office on Jalan Durian Raya. At about 11:00 I received notification from the clerk so I came there at 14:00. My qualification is 'secondary'.


I got up at 05:00, prayed and preprared myself for walking. I felt that I had not enough sleep but I harded my heart to walk. My route was Kaligarang Bridge, Jalan Basudewo and Banjirkanal Bridge. At 08.45 I left home for the office. Nuri provided rice and steamed fish for my lunch. I was alone in the office because Mr Zaenal was out to see Lake Pening. I left the office at 16:00. No rain today. At night I was still at home.

Trying Public Transportation

This day I tried to use public transportation to get to the office and to go home from the office. At 07:50 I got into a Trans Semarang bus at the Karangayu Stop. The bus was quick so at 08:30 I arrived at the office. The bus stop was close to the OM Division Office. At 16:20 I got into a Damri bus. It dropped me at Karangayu Stop at 17:00. Overall, Semarang public transport is not bad. It is airconditioned. No smoking person inside.

I got up at 03:00, had early breakfast, dawn prayed and slept again. Nuri dropped me at the Karangayu Stop. In the office I had discussion about Rawapening with Mr Ghozi, Mr Hidayat, Mr Zaenal and Mr Astoto. The day was cloudy and chill. Rahutama picked me up home at Karangayu Stop. I broke my fasting at 17:29. In the evening I, Nuri and Rahutama had dinner at Soto Pak Man.

Paying Condolence

This day Mr Arief Susanto was passing a way. I was involved in some activities with him concerning water resources management cooperation. I came to his house at Puri Anjasmoro housing at 11:00 to pay my condolence. I met Mr Sriyanto, Mr Niam, Mr Sugiyanto, etc.

First Week

This day I have been a week and a day being an advisor to the coordinating forums sponsored by the Pemali Juana Watersheds Management Office. My first goal is to make the forums work orderly. The problem is the elements of each forum secretariat have not been set up well. There is no organization, no manual and no committed budget. I conclude my first step is to help setting them up. This week I composed several papers to build the elements.

I got up at 03:30, had night prayer, had dawn prayer and prepared myself for walking. I walked through Kaligarang Bridge, Jalan Basudewo and Lemahgempal Bridge. It took about 30 minutes. Paying Off Car Tax

This day I still used the car to get me in the office. I wanted to go by bus but I could not because I could not be ready to go before 08:00. I needed the care to get there before 08:30.

I got up at 05:00, prayed, made myself ready to go. Nuri provided me a cup consisted of rice, salty egg, fried tofu and bitter cucumber for my lunch. After officing I came to a barbershop but I cancelled to cut my hair. In the evening I and Nuri came to DP mall to pay car tax off.

This day was still new in my daily life. I got up at 05:00, prayed and prepared myself for walk. I walk through Kaligarang Bridge, Jalan Basudewa and Banjirkanal Bridge. I wanted to buy steamed corn but the vendor did not provide it.

Being in the Office

I got up at 03:20 for having early breakfast. After dawn praying I prepared my bag for work. For about an hour I slept. At 07:45 I left home for the new office. I arrived there at 08:20. It was just a cleaning service boy there. I waited for Mr Zaenal for about 20 minutes. A small discussion with him and Mr Niam was managed before I started to work. I joined zuhr and ashr prayers in the office mosque, the Salman al Farisy Mosque. At 16:15 I left the office for home.

Being at Home

It was the day for home. I started my day by doing dawn prayer at 04:45. At 05:45 I went out to walk tracing Jalan Puspawarno Selatan II, Jalan Puspowarno Tengah, Jalan Sudirman, Jalan Puspanjolo Barat and Puspanjolo Timur XII. I bought steamed corn and cassava for my breakfast. My second breakfast was nasi pecel bought by Nuri.

Joining Wedding Parties

This day I had to attend 2 wedding parties that were scheduled at the same time. At 11:00 I and Nuri were at the Ranggawarsita Museum Hall to join the wedding party managed by Mr Suprijanto on celebrating the marriage of his daughter, Winda Nugraheni, and Bayu Indirasukma. A wedding party means a small reunion so we met Mr Lukito, Mr Hiryam, Mr Sumartono, Ms Endah, etc. After trying a plate of baked lamb (it was tasty) we left the place for the Rimba Graha Building to join another wedding party. It was managed by Mr Sudirdjo to celebrate the marriage of his daughter, Dian Rahayu Nugraheni, and Viky Yuniawan Purwanto. At this small reunion we met Mr Slamet, Mr Tjahjono, Mr Zaenal, Mr Sulaksono, etc. I tried sate ayam. It was also tasty. Two kinds of meat were enough for me.

I got up at 05:30 and still had time to dawn pray. My breakfat was roasted bread with smoked beef inside.In the evening I was at home. Nuri made young jackfruit hot soup for our dinner. It was tasty, too.

First Day On Job

It was the first day of June. It was also my first day in my new assigment after my retirement. The employer was the Pemali Juana Watersheds Management Office. It was committed I would be contracted for 6 consecutive months. In the first day I met Mr Niam, Ms Rantika and Mr Zaenal. I needed to meet Mr Zainal longer to clarify my installment in the office but he was no time. So, I then came back home to compose my schedule.

I got up at 04:30, prayed and prepared myself for walking. My route was Kaligarang Bridge, Jalan Basudewa and Banjirkanal Bridge. The jogging track on the Banjirkanal riverside is going to finish. I liked to use it. At 07:45 I started to go to my new office.

I joined the Friday Worshipping at Attaqwa Mosque. Nuri was in Ms Agus's house to see pictures of the wedding. In the beginning of evening I and Nuri bought nasi uduk at a nasi uduk stand on Jalan Anjasmoro. Then, we visit Giant Supermarket to buy bread.
