Back to Semarang

We finished our assessment in the Masaran Water Service Field Office (UPTD Bengawan Solo Masaran). We started with having lunch together. Then the team expressed their impression, finding and recommendation to the nominee. Mr Sukatno released us with his gratitude. At about 14.00 we left Masaran for Semarang. We passed through Gemolong. The road was not good. We stopped at Banaran Cafe for rest. We then passed through Gunungpati. At about maghrib time I arrived at home.

I did morning walking after praying. I walked through this route: Jalan Ahmad Yani, Jalan Monginsidi, Jalan Asikin, Jalan Widuran, Jalan Urip Sumoharjo.After having breakfast we went to Sragen. In the Secretariat Office we were welcomed by Mr Darmawan, the Secretary. The team was complete. Mr Kasmono and Juariman also joined us. Then we went to the Masaran I Unit Office (Kemantren Masaran I) where we would conducted the assesment.

Going to Surakarta

At 05.10 I accompanied by Sonhaji left home for Surakarta. We picked Sri Purwanto and Bambang Priyotomo at PTGA Building, Pedurungan. At 05.30 we arrived at Banyumanik to join Adi Sutjipto, Suyono and Agus Surawan. We then continued our trip to Surakarta. We stopped at Boyolali to have breakfast. At 09.00 we arrived at the Water Resources Agency Office of Klaten where we planned to meet personnels from Bengawan Solo WRM Office. At 09.30 we, personnels from BS WRM Office (Mr Kasmono, Sutrisno and Juariman) and personnels from Klaten WRA (Mr Juwito, Mr Darminto, etc) went to Pedan Field Office.

About 4 hours we were at the office to assess the management. We did them in and off office. Kastari joined the team at this place. He was accompanied by his driver. The assessment was finished at 14.00. We dismissed after having lunch in Bu Mayar Restourant, Ceper. At 15.00 we arrived at Asia Hotel, Surakarta for overnight.

Usual Day

This morning I slept again after praying. I left home at 06.40 without having breakfast because I still felt stuffed. In the office I joined the ceremony inspected by Mr Ktut Arsa. Mr Hidayat and Mr Lukito were in. At about 09.00 I was home for relaxing. I had breakfast at Soto Pak Man stand. In the office again I met Mr Prasetyo to report my plan to go tomorrow to Surakarta area. I and the team would be performing assessment for the operators concerning the contest. I went home at 15.30.

In the evening Benhart reported that 2 members of the team (Kastari and Budiyo) would not go because the would conducted their supervisors' direction. I had no idea to cope with that case. Jawa Tengah Fair

Jawa Tengah Fair was an exhibition organized at PRPP Complex, Tawangmas Semarang by the Provincial Government of Central Java yearly to display products of the province. This year the event opened on Thursday June 24, 2010. This evening I and Nuri visited it because I could not be present on the opening ceremony where I was invited. The parking system was terrible but we fortunately found the space. There many kinds of batik were displayed. They were beautiful, specific and cheap. We also visited our office stand. Agus Trimulyono and Aji were there keeping the stand.

This morning I woke up early, prayed and slept again. Nuri prepared apple carrot juice for me. Our breakfast was nasi pecel I bought on Jalan Puspanjolo. At 10.45 I and Nuri were with Kuswari and wife escorting their daughter and son in law going to his parents' house. Visiting Citra Mall

In the afternoon I went to Citramall to clarify if my Samsung Monte could be equipped with Garmin XT. The store manager said that Garmin XT could only be installed on Windows or Symbian OS that Monte did not have. I then went to a Telkom Speedy counter at Matahari Simpanglima fifth floor to list my complaint. The cso gave me a technician's phone number that would come home. At the end I went to Three Cellular Operator to inquiry their data services.

This morning I woke up early to do isha, night and dawn prayers. Then I slept again. Nuri made me apple carrot juice. My breakfast was bokchoy stirred fry. It was also for my lunch.

In the evening I and Nuri came to the gathering organized by Mr Bharoto to celebrate his daughter marriage. Rahutama dropped us there and he akso picked us up afterward. Cutting my Hair

After having lunch I cut my hair in the Anto Salon. Anto Salon located at Jalan Simongan close to home. Anto was the owner. He had about 5 hairdressers, 3 women and 2 men. The service was good. The cost was cheap. I paid Rp20.000 for hairwashing, cutting and giving hair tonic.

Breakfast with nasi soto. My condition was not good. However, I still had my dawn prayer. This morning was cloudy. At 06.45 I accompanied by Sonhaji went to the office. I became the inspector on the morning roll call. The third echelon officers were in except Mr Agus Pur. Benhart and Wumart were also absent. I processed all documents on my desk. At 14.00 we left Purwokerto for Semarang. In a car there were me, Sri Purwanto, Bambang Priyotomo and Sonhaji. In another car there were Adi Sutjipto, Budiyo Darmawan, Achmadi and Kastari. We took the north route. Our car stopped at Awud food stand in Pekalongan to allow us getting rest. I, Sri Purwanto and Sonhaji had an early dinner. At 19.00 I arrived at home.

This morning I slept again after praying. After having our breakfast in the hotel we checked out and led for the Serayu Citanduy Management Office. Close to the office was the Office of Banyumas Water Resources and Road Agency. We met the chief and the officers. At 09.00 we had been in the Berem Brakal Field Water Resources Management Office. We intention to assess this office concerning the selection of a representative for the national contest on best operator. It was cloudy and light showering but I still saw the field. Going to Purwokerto

At 15.45 I and Sonhaji left Semarang for Purwokerto. We chose the north route: Semarang - Pemalang - Purbalingga - Purwokerto. The car ran quite fast. We stopped once in Randudongkal for urining. At 20.00 we arrived at the Wisata Niaga Hotel, Purwokerto where I would be overnight.

This morning I was little bit relaxed. After praying I slept again. My breakfast was sweet coconat juice stewed of kimpul (a sort of root). The second breakfast was rice and corn stirred fry. Sonhaji picked me for the office at 08.00. At 11.00 I and officers of second and third echelon of selected agency were in the Governor's Meeting Room to have his briefing. This briefing was completed with the presentation of some chiefs of management office. We concluded the meeting at 14.00.

Although we had a lunch box in the meeting Mr Agus asked me and Mr Hidayat to have fish head curry at a stand on Jalan Siwalan. So, this day I had two lunches. I then when to Indosat Care Center to put my complain but because the line was so long I cancelled my intention and I went home. Going to Kebumen

I woke up early in the morning to get ready for Kebumen. After bathing and praying at 04.55 I left home accompanied by Sonhaji. We picked Sri Purwanto and Bambang Priyambodo up at PTGA (water usage system campaign) building for Kebumen. At Banyumanik we joined Adi Sutjipto, Kastari, Budiyo Darmawan and and Achmadi in another car. We stopped at the Gudeg Ayu stand in Magelang for having breakfast. At 09.00 we arrived at Kemiri Watering Office, Butuh Purworejo and at 14.00 we arrived at Karanganyar Kebumen.

This day we had to assessed two operator units for their capabilities. The assessment was organized to select a Jawa Tengah representative to a national contest on Irrigation Operator at two catagories: field unit (kemantren level) and field office (pengamat level) organizations. For the field unit organization we assess a kemantren unit of Kemiri and for the field office we assessed Sempor Watering Office in Karanganyar. We assessed the kemantren unit till 13.00 then we moved to Karanganyar. At 14.00 we arrived at Sempor Watering Office. The welcoming session was overwhelming. They presented traditional horse dance. Usual Day

This morning was complete. I did my morning walking after praying. My route was Jalan Pamularsih, Jalan Kaligarang, Jalan Basudewa, crossing Banjir Kanal Barat through the temporary bamboo bridge, Jalan Bojongsalaman, Jalan Puspanjolo Timur VIII, Jalan Puspanjolo Tengah VII, Jalan Puspanjolo and Jalan Pamularsih Dalam. My breakfast was fried rice. At 06.45 I went to the office.

In the office I joined the ceremony inspected by Mr Ktut. Mr Lukito was in. After that session I went home to take some matters. In the office again I chaired 2 meetings, a preparation meeting for boundary coordination meeting and a kick off meeting with asset database consultant.

Anindya Going to Jakarta

In the evening at 10.25 using Gumarang Coachs Anindya went to Semarang. I and Rahutama dropped her at the Tawang Railway Station. Bagus was also there. The coach was the worst one among the executive class. However, it was ok since it was scheduled to arrive Jatinegara Station at 05.30. There was still enough time to get her office. She planned to be officing directly.

This morning I had complete activities. After praying I did my morning walking through this route: Jalan Pamularsih, Jalan Puspowarno Tengah, Jalan Sudirman, Jalan Puspanjolo dan Jalan Pamularsih Dalam. Nuri gave me apple carrot juice. It was the last apple and carrot, she said. My breakfast was rice and papaya leaf stirred fry. Then I and Anindya made home tidy.

Being at Home

This morning I missed my prayer. We had vegetable salad with soy sauced chicken dressing for our breakfast. In the late morning we in four joined the wedding party of Endar, one of Kuswari's daughter. Then Rahatama and his friends were at home having chat. Anindya was out with Bagus to see a cinema. I went to Grapari the Indosat Customer Care to complain the premium sms. Unfortunately, it closed. So I went home at once. Jalan Pandanaran was congested.

This was a good morning. After praying I came to the swimming pool to swim. I felt fresh and healthy although I was only 20 minutes in pool. I then had a good breakfast.

This day was the last day of the workshop although it scheduled to close tomorrow. I representing Jawa Tengah team gave my speech on the impression to the workshop. At last, Mr Siti Khadijah Nasution closed this workshop.

At 17.00 I went to the Pasarturi Station by a taxi. Previously, I signed the hotel invoice at about Rp3.000.000. It was surprising that the state had to pay our accomodation costly. Workshop on Gender Mainstreaming

Today was the day 2 of the workshop. There were 3 presenters delivered their matters. Mrs Mimi Nasution representing Deputy of Economic Gender Mainstreaming Ministry of Women Enpowering presented 'Work Plan of the Deputy', a gentleman representing Planning Agency East Java delivered 'Responsive Gender Planning and Mrs representing Bureau Of Finance East Java talked about 'Responsive Gender Budgeting'. The workshop then started with some excercises guided by Mr Jusuf Supiandi and Mrs Rini Soemarno. At the end 6 authority units composed documents named Gender Budget Statements.

This morning I woke up at 05.00 then slept again after praying. At 08.00 I joined the workshop in Brawijaya Room. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were served by the hotel. Going to Surabaya

At 08.30 Rajawali coachs started to move from Tawang Station to bring me to Surabaya. It was cloudy outside so it was so cold inside. The coachs were not crowded by passangers. At 13.05 I arrived at Pasarturi Station. It was 15 minutes late. Pangestu was also one of the passangers. I and him led to the hotel by a Bluebird taxi. At about 14.00 I arrived at Novotel Hotel. After checking in we had lunch that prepared by the committee. We got room 342.

I woke up at 05.15. I still had 30 minutes to pray. I bathed and prayed. I prepared everything for going to Surabaya. Nuri prepared rice, fried tofu dan omelet for my breakfast. At 08.00 Rahutama dropped me at the Tawang Station.

Preparing for Surabaya

In the office my time was primarily used to prepared my duty trip to Surabaya. I supervised Niken on preparing my task letter and Eni preparing my per diem. As usual I also I processed all documents on my desk. In the afternoon I assessed that the preparation completed.

This morning I went to the office using my car. Sonhaji accompanied Benhart to Grobogan. Nuri gave me apple carrot juice. She also prepared fried rice for my breakfast. In the office I joined the roll call inspected by Mr Ktut. Mr Prasetyo and Mr Lukito joined this session. In the office I chaired a meeting discussing land acquisition for Bengawan Solo dyke located in Cepu. In the breaktime I went home to have lunch. Nuri gave me nasi gudeg. When I was in the office again I prepared documents for duty trip to Surabaya. I was home at 16.00.

Going to Temanggung

After praying I prepared myself for going to Temanggung. At 05.45 I left home for Temanggung. Sonhaji was the driver. We stopped many times. At Pasar Kambing we picked Hendro up. At Jangli PFU we were fueling. At Adem Ayem restaurant we had our breakfast. And at Temanggung Bappeda Office we confirmed that all equipments were ok. At 09.30 we arrived at Village Hall of Tegalrejo Ngadirejo Temanggung. In this building I joined a socialization on water conservation.

The socialization was attended by Tegalrejo Village Leader, Ngadirejo Subdistrict Manager, personnels from Serayu Opak River Basins Management Office, a section chief from Temanggung Bappeda Office, a division chief from Temanggung Public Works office dan Chief of Probolo Water Resources Management Office and people of Tegalrejo Village. The socialisation ended at 13.00.

Off time Officing

In the afternoon at 17.00 Rahutama dropped me at the office to join Mr Ghozi, Mr Harsono and Benhart. Until 18.15 we discussed the Operational Cooperation concept. We did our maghrib prayer in the Baitussalam mosque where Mr Ghozi was the imam. We dismissed after praying. Mr Ghozi dropped me at the point close to home.

I woke up at 05.00. I slept again after praying. Nuri gave me apple carrot juice. Our breakfast was rice and eggplant stirred fry. At 10.00 I went to the office to gather with Benhart but he was not in. I just met Suyono. Soon I went home. After doing zuhr prayer I and Nuri went to DP Mall to buy pressurized frying pans named Happy Call. Nuri was eager to buy the stuff. She managed Mrs Agus and her relative to buy it. I paid Rp1.760.000 for 3 pans. Actually, the cost was Rp880.000 each but buying 2 pans would received a pan more for free. Going to Salaman

At 11.00 I accompanied by Rahutama went to Salaman to meet Lik Santo and Adi. I wanted to talk about bathing room and grave fixing. The bathing room was at Salaman house while the grave belonged to my father. The traffic in the segment Semarang Bawen was so congested. In Magelang we stopped at Bu Atmo stand to have lunch. We arrived at Salaman at 14.00. It was showering. We met Lik Santo and Adi. I transferred my share to Lik Santo, Rp3.000.000 in cash and Rp2.000.000 through bank transfer. At 17.00 we went back to Semarang.

This morning I still had my prayer. My breakfast was rice, eggplant stirred fry and martabak omelet. I filled my time with wiping the floor. In the afternoon I and Rahutama had our dinner at Tahu Pojok stand in Magelang. We fueled our car at Srondol PFS. The Pertamax RON 92 price was Rp7.050 a liter. We arrived at home at 20.30. Usual Day

I did my morning activity with only praying. I went to the office after having apple carrot juice but without breakfast. In the office I joined the roll call inspected by Mr Hidayat. I joined a farewell and welcoming party at the Jratun Management Office. In the office again I then had nasi goreng for my breakfast.

I did my Friday Worshipping in the Baitussalam Mosque at the office. On the way home I stopped at Smartphone Community to install GPS application for my new cellphone. The employee told that my cellphone could not be filled with the one I wanted. I, Nuri and Rahutama had nasi padang for my lunch.

In the evening I was at home while Rahutama was out. Wiwin told me about his son. He was threatened to be dropped out. Wiwin wanted to talk to Mahardi. I gave him Mahardi's cellphone number. Lanjutannya...

Going to Tawangmangu

At 06.10 I accompanied by Nuri went to the end of the toll road at Banyumanik. I joined Mr Hidayat and Indah going to Tawangmangu. The driver was Djoko. He was a terrible driver. We stopped by a Salatiga market to have breakfast. We had nasi gudeg. It was delicious. We arrived at Hotel Sari II Tawangmangu at 10.30.

I woke up, prayed and prepared everything for going to Tawangmangu. In Tawangmangu I joined a farewell and welcoming party. Mr Ketut and Gunawan were assigned to move to Semarang while Mr Kasmono and Juariman replace them, respectively. Many employees of the Bengawan Solo Management Office gathered in this session. The Council Assembly

At 09.30 this morning the Central Java Water Resources Council Assembly was opened and chaired by Mr Prasetyo. 13 out of 14 members from government elements joined this session. Only 7 out of 14 members from non government elements were in. The assembly successfully agreed 1 agenda. It concluded at 13.00.

This morning I did my dawn prayer then I slept again. My breakfast was rice and fried tempe. At 06.45 I went to the office accompanied by Sonhaji. In the office I became the inspector in the roll call. After organizing the assembly I joined a meeting in Mr Prasetyo's room. Then I joined a meeting in my room with Mr Ghozi, Mr Hidayat and Bena Hartadi begin_of_the_skype_highlighting     end_of_the_skype_highlighting. I went home at 17.00.

Transfer of Position

At 08.30 I joined the transfer positions of the officials installed on June the first. Mr Prasetyo and all of the third echelon officials attended this session. The officials joined the core management were Mr Lukito and Mr Ktut. The session was followed by monthly meeting. It concluded at 13.00.

This day I woke up at 05.00. Outside was still dark. It was apparent heavy cloudy. I had bathing and doing my prayer. My breakfast was chicken soup and bread. I also ate rice and fried tempe. At 06.45 I went to the office accompanied by Sonhaji. In the office I became the inspector in the daily roll call.

Pondok Daun

In the lunch time I, Mr Ghozy, Sri Purwanto, Bena Hartadi and Mr Hidayat went to Pondok Daun to have lunch. Pondok Daun was a long verandah where many stands offer their food. It was my second time to come. It seemed that Pondok Daun was going to decline. The visitors were less than those when I came for the first time.

This day I was not good enough. However, I still did my prayer, having breakfast and going to the office. My breakfast was rice and vegetable broth. As usual Sonhaji picked me up to the office. In the office I joined the Monday ceremony inspected by Mr Prasetyo. There was bunch of documents on my desk and I processed them. I chaired a meeting preparing the Water Resources Council Meeting on Wednesday. I went home at 16.00.

In the evening I and Nuri were still at home. I sent our complain to PT Telkom because the invoice we had to pay was based on an option we did had not agree. Rahutama went out to join his friends. Lanjutannya...

Being at Home

I was at home all day long. My condition was not good enough to go out. I missed many prayers. My breakfast and lunch was rice porridge. I ate it with soy souce. It was not delicious but it was the only food my body afforded. There 2 invitations to wedding parties I did not join. There were from Pangestu and Agung. I sent gifts to them through Agus who would join to the parties. In the evening I felt better. I had rice and tempe tahu bacem for my dinner.

Being Sick

This afternoon I was not in a good condition. I had thrawing up and diarrhea. All food I consumed this morning was thrawing up. Even I was almost unconscious. So, I was in bad as long as I could. Nuri prepare rice porridge for me.

This morning I felt good as usual. I did my prayer although I slept again after did it. Nuri bought nasi pecel for our breakfast. At 09.00 I and Nuri went to Provincial Tax Service Stand in DP Mall to pay a car tax while Rahutama went to Bambang workshop to fix Starlet car. The tax for my Avanza car was Rp1.508.000. Suddenly, I felt something wrong in my digestive. I and Nuri in a hurry went home. I was sick. Our plan to go to Wintarto's house to express our condolence was cancelled. Wintarto was my colleague. At 11.00 I was out of the hotel. In hurry I and Mr Arif Susanto took a public car for an airport bus station. Of course I missed my Friday Worshipping. When I got off at Terminal 3 the Sukarno Hatta Airport the flight I want to catch up had boarded. So I had to wait until the flight I scheduled for, Mandala RI 294. I had to wait for about 4 hour. The craft took off at 18.05 so it was 30 minutes late. Rahutama picked me up at the Ahmad Yani Airport at 19.15. At 19.30 I arrived at home.

This morning I woke up on time for praying. I then slept again. At 07.00 I joined the others for having breakfast on the dining hall. At 08.30 I delivered my presentation named The Experince on Managing the Secretariat of Central Java Water Resources Council. Although there only one clarification pointed to me the presentation had invoked audience to ask many question to Mr Imam Anshori. This presentation ended at 10.30.

In the night I came to deposit machine at BCA Bank, Pemuda to put money. The line was so long since one of the two machines was out of order. So, I went to Mandiri Bank. It was out of order, too. I went to BCA Bank, Bangkong, same thing. I failed to put money.

Going to Bogor

At 06.45 Sonhaji came home. He dropped me at the Ahmad Yani Airport. With Mandala RI291 at 07.30 I flew to the Soekarno Hatta Airport of Jakarta. I landed at 08.20, having second breakfast at Bakmi Gajahmada stand in the Terminal 3 Building. I had to wait until 10.30 to take the airport bus departing for Bogor. At 12.10 I arrived at the Airport Bus Terminal in Baranangsiang area. Using Bluebird taxi costed Rp15.000 I got the Pangrango II Hotel where I would attend a coordination meeting and be overnight.

This morning I woke up so early to get time to prepare everything for my trip to Bogor. I had a small breakfast with rice and tempura mushroom.

In the evening the meeting was opened by Mr Edy and Mr Tommy Adolf. Many coordination boards in water resources in Indonesia joined this meeting. Mr Edy, Mr Imam Anshori (came later), Mr Rudy and Mr Darsono presented their experiences. The meeting was quite interesting because the matters they presented were quite new. We concluded the section at 11.00. I shared the 115 room with Mr Suseno. Until mid night I prepared frames for my presentation tomorrow.

Writing a Paper

This day I filled my time with writing paper for the gathering in Bogor. I wrote the matters till the late night. At the end I asked Rahutama to print the matters since our printer ink was runout. Officials Installation

At 13.00 I joined the installation of the officials of Central Java Provincial Government. There were promotion and mutation. In my office the third echelon mutations were as follows. Ktut Arsa was displaced as the Secretary. Kasmono was promoted to replace Ktut as the Manager of Bengawan Solo Office. Lukito was displaced as Division Chief of Irrigation and Raw Water. Agus Purwandini was promoted as the Manager of Jragung Tuntang Office replacing Lukito.

In the fourth echelon, Kastari was displaced as Section Head of Development and Conservation replacing Kasmono. Pangestu was replacing Agus Purwandini as Subdivison Head of Program. Dasirun was promoted replacing Pangestu as Section Head of Controlling and Effective Utilizing at the Management Office of Pemali Comal. Agus Trimulyono was Subdivision Head of General Affair exchanged his position as Section Head of Asset Management to Wulan Martini. Gunawan was replacing Kastari as Section Head of Operation and Maintenance. Last but not least, Juariman was promoted as Section Head of Controlling and Effective Utilizing at the Management Office of Bengawan Solo replacing Gunawan.

I woke up at 05.30. It was still enough time to pray since shurooq was at 05.44. I went to the office without having breakfast. In the office I became the inspector in the roll call. Only Mr Prasetyo was in. With Sonhaji, I had my breakfast at Soto Pak Man. On the way to the office again I stopped at home to take my gadgets. At 12.30 I, Agus and Bena came to Gradika Bakti Praja. It served us lunch before organizing installation. At 14.30 we went to the office again. I went home at 15.30. I stopped by BCA Bank Pemuda to bank but because too crowded I proceed to go home.
