Reunion The Day 1

It is Tuesday. The Red Tuesday (Anggara Jenar 12). In the morning at 07:15 I dropped Nuri at Alfamart shop close to Sampokong parking yard. She would go to Surakarta with Trimurti Hidayat and Endah Bena. Endah would pick her there. I also dropped my bag and left at a porridge vendor. I then went back home.

At 07:45 I left the house after locking all the doors. I walked to the shop. I took my bag from the porridge vendor. Retnobroto and Henni were waiting for me at the shop parking yard. After getting on the car we went to Adiati's house in Puri Anjasmoro Housing. After she was on board we went to Borobudur to join Magelang State Highschool Class 1974 Reunion. In Retnobroto's Toyota Kijang Innova car there were the driver, Retnobroto, Henni, Adiati, and me

It was about 08:15 when we departed from Puri Anjasmoro. We then led to Kusumastuti's house at Mutiara Sewakul Housing in Ungaran Barat. About 30 minutes later Kusumastuti was on board. We entered toll road at Ungaran Gate and exited at Bawen. We went through Ambarawa and Magelang. At Es Murni beverage shop on Jalan Sriwijaya Magelang we stopped by for having a break and taste our old time favorite drinks. About 30 minutes later we continued going to Borobudur. We traced national road to Blondo and turned to provincial road leading to Borobudur. At 11:30 we arrived at the venue, Nalaya Hotel on Jalan Balaputradewa Borobudur.

Many colleagues had been there, such as the organizing team (Susatyo, Sigit, Liem Chiean, Dyah Purwani, Winardi, Be Tjusuan, The Sioktin, Ong Swatbwee, Indahingsih, Nurul, Hartono, Suparno, Ong Pojong, Nurbayah, Susi, Trihandayani, Be Jaifang, Isa Ardani, Sri Rejeki, Much Slamet, Ihyaudin, etc) and the participants (Triheryanto, Hariarti, Jejet, Minuk, Susimastuti, Unandari, Seto, Endianto, Djoko Martianto, Johny, Risna, Nuryati, Kanti, The Hokhin, Dwihati, Rio, Winarno, Bambang Purwanto,). Aswati, Sri Sulistiyati, Adri, Sutono, Gatot, Yudi, Nunuk, Titin, and Anna came later. We were served with lunch.

After having lunch we got a break. I stayed in room Kresna 2 in sharing with Triheryanto, Adri, and Abdul Akbar. Because Adri moved to another room and Akbar did not show up, the room was occupied by me and Triharyanto

At 18:30 we gathered to joined convivial night. Sri Suharti came to join. Having dinner was the first item in the night. The team served us with chicken satay and other dishes. I tasted almost all dishes.

The second item was Susatyo's report on behalf of the organizing team. Then Seto also gave his speech as the chairman of the Class 1974 alumni association.

Finally, the entertainment item when alumni region groups delivered their presentation one after another and songs were presented by the artist and reunion participants. In the alumni region presentation I thought Adri and Anna who represented East Java region delivered the best show. They just sang several consecutive songs accompanied by some attractive movements. The worst presentation might be Semarang region who represented by me, Hariyoto, Adiati, Sri Suharti, Kusumastuti, Retnobroto, and Henni. We made some weird movements adhered to the Madiun Ngawi song. The entertainment item were then filled with songs sung by the artist and participants. The item ended at 22:00.
