Going to Haikou

It is Wednesday. Red Wednesday (Rabu Pahing). At 08:00 I left the guesthouse with my bag full of clothes on my back. I also brought a plastic bag of dirty clothes. I dropped it in the laundry shop. I had breakfast at Warung Tegal Satuhati. A Gojek bike then brought me to Kampung Rambutan Terminal. I got in a Damri Airport bus.

At 09:00 the bus brought me to Soekarno Hatta Airport. I got off at Terminal 2D at 10:45. Tri Heryanto, Kanti, and Arijani were there. Risnawati joined a moment later, Then, Henny came. We would go to Hainan (海南) by Sriwijaya Air. We joined a tour organizer named Apple Holiday. Other members our group were Ambar, Indariyati, Atty Wisnu, and Bibit Sumarni.

At 12:15 we boarded from Gate F5. Our flight was Sriwijaya SJ3122. At 13:15 Sriwijaya Boeing 737-900ER took off for Haikou (海口), Hainan. I was seated on 15A, Tri Heryanto at 15B, and Henni at 15C. The flight was going smooth, at 17:45 Jakarta time or 18:45 local time we landed at Haikou Meilan Internasional Airport （海口美兰国际机场). The showering just ended but the wind was still strong.

After exiting from the immigration and custom we got in a bus. Our tour leaders were Jeni Anjelia dan Huang Aiguo (黄 爱国). Jeni is an Indonesian and Aiguo is a Chinese. They would lead us in the following 4 days.

The bus then brought me to Oscar Hotel (新奥斯罗克酒店) Daying Road where we would be overnight. I and Tri Heryanto share room 1601. The room was spacious, neat, and clean. We loved it.

I and Tri then went out for dining. We came in a restaurant named Shui Hongkong Zaishaola fastfood. I ordered a plate of egg wide noodles. We name it kweetiao but in this country it is known as chaofen (炒粉). Its price was RMB Yuan20. It was less spicy then that in Indonesia. Lanjutannya...

It is Tuesday. Sweet Tuesday (Selasa Legi). In the morning I had breakfast at Warung Tegal Satuhati. I arrived at the office at 10:00. Priyonggo and Anwar were in. Atina arrived later. Nenni, a PT JBS officer also came later. By dhuhur time Utayanto came. Today I made up the closing statement for Section 2 Drainage.

After dhuhur time I went to Tamini Square to buy data cable and Renminbi banknote. The price Rp615000 for ¥300. I went to the office again before going to the guesthouse.

It is Saturday. Yellow Saturday (Sabtu Pon). In the morning I walked tracing Puspawarno, Puspanjolo, and Bojongsalaman streets for 3,41km. After having breakfast I washed my clothes. I finished it after dhuhur time.

It is Friday. Red Friday (Jumat Pahing). In the morning I joined qigong in the temple hall. The participants were 6 people. The other members might be still tired at home due to their trip to Jogja yesterday. We practiced chenqi, laqi, pengqi guanding, and sanxin.

It is Thursday. Sweet Thursday (Kamis Legi). I arrived at the office at 09:30. Anwar, Atina, and Priyonggo came later. I gave my clothes to Nendi the OB and asked him to put them.

At 13:00 I left the office for Gambir Station. I would go home. A Gojek bike, and busway buses brought me to PGC1 then Pal Putih, Senen Sentral, and Gambir 1 stops. At 14:42 I arrived at Gambir Station.

Gathering

It is Tuesday. Black Tuesday (Selasa Wage). I arrived at the office at 10:00. Anwar, Priyonggo, and Benny arrived later. Atina was not in. I was still relaxed in the office. At about 12:00 Benny left the office. It was his last present because tomorrow he would go to Mecca for Haj Pilgrimage. We paid our wishes to him.

At 15:30 I left the office for Tamini stop by a Gojek bike. Then, a busway bus brought me to Semanggi stop. I walked over a bridge connecting Semanggi to Bendungan Hilir stops. Another bus got me to Blok M Terminal.

At 17:00 I arrived at Hotel Ambhara dan directly went up to Rajawali I Hall where gathering managed. It was gathering of former students in Canada sponsored by CIDA and Public Works Department from 1979 to 1993. There were Bellafolijani, Reifeldi, Bambang Soenarto, Prasidananto, Bambang Hargono & wife, Hanan Akhmad, Sutardi, Suhartono, Bahmid Tohary and Hetty Susantin. Other members came later such as Sukmana Soma, Suprapto, Suseno Darsono, Abdullah Syarif, Cece Sutapa, John Sianipar, Edi Paminto, Sukatja, Made Sumiarsih, Hafied Gany, Suprapto, Azrun Umar, Sugiyanto, Hari Suprayogi, Nana Mulyana, and Ngadirin. The former BPPT undergrad students also showed up. They were Bonatua Bonaventura Napitu, Reza, and Muhammad Neil el Himam.

Bellafolijani, the organizing lady, provided a small band group accompanying a member sing a song. They were professional so anyone singing a song he/she will get a good time. Bellafolijani also served us with tasty dishes making us happier.

Hari gave short speech. He mentioned that it was the second time we met. He was willing to managed a following gathering in Semarang. There were many former students living in Semarang.

At 21:00 I left the venue. A busway bus brought me to Kampung Rambutan Terminal. A Gojek bike got me to the office. Till 23:30 I was in the office to upload the pictures of gathering. At 23:45 I arrived at the guesthouse Lanjutannya...

It is Monday. Yellow Monday (Senin Pon). At about 03:15 I got off at Kampung Rambutan Terminal. A Gojek bike got me at the guesthouse at 03:45. After praying I slept.

At 10:00 I arrived at the office. Danu was there. Anwar, Priyonggo, and Benny came later. I had low productivity today since I was still tired. At 18:15 I left the office for the guesthouse.

It is Sunday. Red Sunday (Ahad Pahing). In the morning after dawn praying I ironed my clothes. I felt my condition was better thank that of yesterday. Nuri made tofu shrimp black sour soup (asem - asem) for out breakfast.

At 19:20 Rahutama dropped me at Nusantara Bus pool in Kalibanteng area. I would go to Jakarta. My bus was NS27 and I would be on seat 26. At 19:56 the bus departed for Jakarta Kampung Rambutan. Lanjutannya...

Rahutama Coming Home

It is Saturday. Sweet Saturday (Sabtu Legi). In the morning after dawn prayer I washed my clothes as usual. At about 10:00 they were all dry.

Nuri wiped and mopped the floor while I was hanging the clothes for drying. I did the same for the verandah while he was out for shopping.

After maghrib time Rahutama came. He took a leave from his work in Singaraja to fix his teeth. The dentist in the hospital would took his no emerge teeth on Tuesday.

In the evening there was a shower for a short time. It was adequate to reduce the temperature.

After showering I and Nuri went to Pizza Hut Counter on Jalan Pandanaran for dining. The traffic going to Simpangima was crowded but the reverse direction was smooth. Lanjutannya...

Joining Qigong

It is Friday. Loving Friday (Jumat Kliwon). In the morning at 05:30 I went to the temple hall to join qigong. I stopped by at BCA Bank Pemuda to withdraw money. The session started at 06:15. The participants were 13 people. We practiced chenqi, pengqi guanding, and sanxin zhuang. After session I paid off my levy for May to December. We also discussed the planned trip to Jogja.

On the way home I stopped by at Prembaen Alley Market to buy meat balls, fish balls, and dried tofu strips. They were soup condiments. I asked Nuri to make soup.

After having soup in my breakfast I went to Bank BNI Karangayu to take my ATM card 💳. After waiting for about 30 minutes I got the card. I went there and went back home by Gojek bikes.

I joined Friday prayer at Masjid Attaqwa. I was sleepy but feeling fresh. I was sleeping during preaching.

In the afternoon I made Jogja trip itinerary as request by Melani. Qigong group Jogja Tour would be going on Wednesday and Thursday.

It is Thursday. Black Thursday (Kamis Wage). I arrived at the office at 09:30. I directed Iik to fix drawing. Benny, Atina, and Priyonggo came later.

At 13:00 I left the office for Gambir Station. A Gojek bike brought me to PGC1 stop. By a busway bus I got myself at Pal Putih stop. Another bus got me at Senen stop. Finally, a busway bus dropped me at Gambir1 stop at 14:30.

I had lunch at a food stall in the station. At 15:10 I printed the boarding pass and got into the waiting room. At 15:30 I was on board. The train, Argo Sindoro train, departed at 16:16 for Tawang, a minute late.

Going to Jakarta

It is Sunday. Loving Sunday (Loving Sunday). In the morning after praying I ironed my clothes. Underwears had been ironed yesterday.

By dhuhur time I and Nuri went to Simpang Lima Plaza. I would buy a charger cable, an ejecting pin, and a smartphone holder. I only got the first and the second. I also sounded Samsung Galaxy Note 9 price. It was Rp11.000.000 something but no stuff.

At 19:10 Nuri dropped me at Nusantara Bus pool in Kalibanteng. I would go to Jakarta. My bus would be Nusantara NS27 leading to Kampung Rambutan Terminal. I would be on seat 23. The bus departed at 20:07 tracing the toll road. At Weleri Gate the bus exited leading to the restaurant. At 21:30 we stopped by at Sari Rasa Resto, Jenarsari Gemuh for dining. Gathering

It is Saturday. Black Saturday (Sabtu Wage). In the morning at 05:00 I performed my weekly activity, washing the clothes. At 07:00 I finished hanging them for drying.

At 09:00 I and Nuri went to Hortimart Bawen to join a gathering. It was former employees of Central Java Water Supply Project gathering. We traced toll road to get there. We entered Manyaran Gate and exited at Bawen Gate. At about 10:15 we arrived at Hortimart. Suwandi guided us to get to the venue, Green Hall. A small car brought me there by passing through fruits plantation. I guessed the plantation was developed by Obor Tani company.

At the venue we met the organizing team members, Bambang Pujo and Eriyanto. They were here along their wives. We also met the participants such as Setyoso & wife, Yatin & wife, Widodo & wife, Arif & wife, Aris & wife, Yiyi & wife, Surjadi & wife and grandson, Bharoto & wife, Djoko & wife, Kusriyati & husband, Vira & husband, Cicik & husband, Syamsudin & Purwasmi, Habib & Ruli, Riyadi & wife, Ngatiyem, Suratman, Kirhermanto, Umar, Mulyadi, and Sadjiran. The session was guided by Ruli. Setyoso the most senior then gave his speech. Other participants gave their songs since the organizing team provided an organ player. We mostly had chats since long time we did not see each other. After having lunch we took picture together and dismissed. I and Nuri stopped by at the shop for buying farmer products. At 15:00 we arrived home.

At 19:30 I and Nuri went to Paragon Mall to dine. We came to Bakso Lapangan Resto to have noodles. Before leaving the mall I picked my shoes up from Sole King workshop. I cost for fixing my shoes was Rp100.000. Lanjutannya...

It is Friday. Yellow Friday (Jumat Pon). At 01:50 I got off at Kalibanteng. I went to an Alfamart shop crossing the street to have myself under shelter. By a Gojek bike I reached home.

At 12:00 I joined Friday prayer at Masjid Attaqwa. Then, I put my shoes at Sole King counter in Paragon Mall for fixing. I wanted to have a cup of coffee in JCo Donut but I cancelled it because the line was so long. Instead I went to Warung Senggol Bu Lin to have lunch. I used Gojek bikes to get those points.

At 17:30 by a Gojek car I came at @HOM Hotel to join a gathering. It managed by Tatik to facilitate us, former Public Works Regional Office of Central Java employees to gather. Mr. Sugito Prayitno, the former chief came along with his wife. The other participants were Suprapto, Wismaningsih, Bagyo, Hariyanto, etc. We dined, sang, and chatted. At 20:00 we dismissed. Benny came at about 11:30. I fixed the drainage report since there were some data different to those in field. I asked I'ik to fixed the drawing following the field condition.

Going to Jakarta

It is Monday. Black Monday (Senin Wage). I planned to join qigong but then I cancelled it. I got relaxed at home.

Before dhuhur time I asked Nendi to now I'ik's attendant in the office. He told that I'ik was in. In addition, Priyonggo implied asking me to present to the office tomorrow. So, I phoned Nusantara Bus agent for the seat availability. The clerk told it was not available. I phoned Shantika Bus agent and he replied it was available only 1. I soon went there and bought the ticket. It was Rp230.000. I would be on Bus 3A leading to Pasar Rebo. My seat number would be 16.

At home again I prepared myself to go. I put my computer on and camera on the selves.

After isha time, at 19:15 I left home. Nuri accompanied my. She dropped me at the Shantika Bus agent. I waited for a while. At 20:00 the bus 3A from Kudus came and I boarded. Going to Surakarta

It is Sunday. Yellow Sunday (Ahad Pon). Rahutama went to Singaraja. In the morning after dawn praying, I, Nuri, Anindya, Dastan, and Aishalina went to Surakarta accompanying Rahutama getting him at Balapan Station. He would go to Gubeng Surabaya on his way to Singaraja.

Rahutama drove the car from home to the station. We stopped by at SPBU Gajahmungkur to get fuel and top up our e-money. We traced the toll road from Jatingaleh to Kartasura. At Manahan area we stopped by again to have dimsum at Roda Kiosk. At 07:15 we arrived at the station. His train Taksaka would be departing at 07:41.

After he left we went to Tamansari Resto in Colomadu. The resto eanabled us to shower Dastan and to mop Aishalina. Then we had breakfast there. We felt relaxed being there while waiting for the time about the Park opening

At about 10:00 we got ourselves at Park Mall. It was a mall located at Solo Baru Area, a developed area in Kecamatan Grogol Sukoharjo. We just window shopped though I bought a toy for Dastan and Nuri bought a pair of shoes for Aishalina. I and Dastan were in JCo Donuts while waiting Nuri, Anindya, and Aishalina walking around for seeking shoes. At about 13:00 we left the mall.

We stopped by at Soto Gading 1 on Jalan Sudiarto. There were many people being there enjoying such a soup. We had to queue for a while. We did not had the food in complete taste because they run out the lime.

At about 14:00 we went back to Semarang. We took small roads along Sukoharjo to get Kartasura Gate. The kids slept. At 15:40 we arrived at home Lanjutannya...

Being at Home

It is Saturday. Red Saturday (Sabtu Pahing). In the morning I washed and hanged fro draying my clothes. It was my weekly ritual. I liked to do that. Then, at 10:00 I accompanied Nuri shopping at Prembaen Alley Market. She would buy condiments for soup. I was in Kong Djie Coffee waiting for her while having coffee, just no sugar coffee.

New Passport

It is Friday. Sweet Friday (Jumat Legi). At 01:10 I got off at the point of intersection Jalan Arteri and Jalan Tol. About 15 minutes later Rahutama picked me home. On the way we stopped by at Pecel Yu Sri kiosk at Simpanglima food gallery.

At 09:15 I and Nuri went out to settled some matters. At 10:00 we came at Zaenal's house to take gudeg. It was Wisma's food souvenir bought during her tour to Jogja. Zaenal and wife were in and we brieftly were involved in a social chat. Then, at 10:45 we came to Immigration Office in Pedurungan to take our new passports. It took 7 workdays they authority to process ours. At 11:30 I arrived at home while Nuri continued to shop in a shop.

Going Back to Semarang

It is Thursday. Black Thursday (Kamis Wage). I arrived at the office at 09:30. Priyonggo was in. Atina and Benny came later. I was just relaxed in the office. Section 4 Drainage Report was delivered to Priyonggo, softcopiedly.

At 03:15 I left the office for Kampung Rambutan Terminal by a Gojek bike. A bus ticket to Semarang was with me. On arriving at the Terminal I reported my attendant to the clerk. My bus was Nusantara NS-4, scheduled to depart at 16:30. It was late. The bus departed at 17:15. It had faced a traffic jam on the way to the terminal. I sat on seat 6A, almost at the end of the coach but still comfortable.

The bus stopped by at Pulogebang Terminal. About 45 minutes we were there to allow other passangers boarding from the terminal. At 18:30 the bus run again. The road segment from Cikunir interchange to Cikampek Gate was smooth.

At 20:30 we stopped by at Km102 rest area. We were served with modest dinner. I did my prayer there after dining. About 30 minutes later we continued ranking. Lanjutannya...

Lunch Out

It is Wednesday. Black Wednesday (Rabu Wage). I had an apple for my breakfast. I walked to the office. I stopped by at Alfamidi shop to buy tea. Nendi had run out the tea. I arrive at the office at about 09:00. Atina and Priyonggo came later

I, Priyonggo, and Atina paid our dhuhur prayer in Masjid Baiturrahim. After that we went to Ciganea Resto to had lunch. The resto located on Jalan Bina Marga, too. It just 5 minutes from the office. Amid waiting for our order Benny came and joined us. We were in 4 in the resto. The dishes were moderate. The price was also moderate. We spent Rp202.000 for 4 people.

By a Gojek bike I went to Kampung Rambutan Terminal. I bought a Nusantara bus ticket for tomorrow. The superexecutive ticket to Semarang was Rp260.000. The clerk told the bus would be departing at !6:30 so I had to be ready there at 16:00. I went back to the hotel by Gojek bike, too.

I dined in the office. I asked Nendi to buy me a pax of nasi padang. I left the office for the guesthouse at 20:15. Lanjutannya...

Gathering

I just had an apple for breakfast. At 09:30 I arrived at the office. Priyonggo and Atina came later.

At 11:00 I left the office for Hadiwibowo's house in Bukit Mas Housing, Bintaro. A Gojek car brought me there at cost of Rp82.000. I reached there at 12:00. There were Hadiwibowo and his wife as the hosts. There were also Cendy & wife, Suharyanto & wife, Nuritawati & husband, Gandhi & wife, Aris & sister, Roosmariani, Rumini, and Sutono. A half hour later Widati, Yodati, and Kartikarini came. It was a gathering named halal bihalal of former SMPN1 Magelang class 71 students. We used the time to chat, dance, sing , and have lunch. We were having lot of fun, off course. At about 14:00 we dismissed.

Gandhi gave me and Widarto a ride to Fatmawati MRT Station. The MRT got me arriving at Bendungan Hilir Station. Then a busway bus brought me from Semanggi stop to Pinangranti stop. By a Gojek bike I arrived at the office at 18:00. I asked Nendi the OB to make me a glass of tea.

Going to Jakarta

It is Monday. Red Monday (Senin Pahing). In the morning I joined qigong in the temple hall. The participants were 12 people. We practiced chenqi, shou - la, pengqi guanding, and sanxin zhuang.

At about 08:30 I went to Bank Jateng Pemuda by a Gojek bike. I withdrew my pension salary. Then, Nuri picked me up to Bank BNI Pemuda. I put the money there. We window shopped in Carrefour Store DP Mall nearby. DP Mall had been changed. It has new face. There was a hotel, too.

On the way home we went to Bank Mandiri Sugijapranata and Bank BCA Sudirman to print our bankbooks.
