Being in the Office

It is Thursday. I and Bambang had early breakfast at Satuhati warung tegal. He bought me the meal.

I arrived at the office at 10:00. Benny had been there. I reported 3 matters to him: box culvert at station 11+520, my recomendation on slop rehabilitation, and asking for an assistant. He accepted to select box culvert 5x5 to be placed at station 11+520. He agreed to inform it to Danu as the consultant's recomendation. He rejected our recomendation on slope rehabilitation. He had a different design concept. On responding my request of assistants he suggested to seek for an engineer residing in Samarinda.

This day was the last day of May. It was the last day of some employees working for the office. They gave me farewell words. They would go back to Bandung.

It is Wednesday. I had my early breakfast in the guesthouse. I just consumed an apple and water.

I arrived at the office at 10:00. On the way I took my clothes from the laundry shop. In the office I found that Priyonggo, Anwar, and Atina were in. Benny did not show up.

I broke my fasting in the office. I asked an office boy, Nendi, to buy sweet and rice. I had dinner in the office. On the way to the guesthouse I shopped apple in an Alfa Midi shop.

Going to Jakarta

It is Tuesday. It was a public holiday concerning Waisak Day. I was at home preparing myself for going. In the morning we still maintained our early breakfast.

At 16:00 Nuri dropped me at the airport. I would go to Jakarta. My flight was JT503 scheduled to depart at 17:15. The plane took off on time. I was on seat 16B.

Maghrib time came at about 18:50 when I was on board and not having water. I bought water after landing. It landed at 18:10. I sat on bench when I broke my fasting. Then, I got in to an Airport Damri bus. I got off at Tamini intersection. By a small local public transport I went to a bakmi jowo stand. I spent Rp23.000 for a plate of javanese styled noodles. Being at Home

It is Monday. I was at home. I and Nuri had early breakfast at home. Boiled egg was my main diet. I avoided rice in my breakfast menu.

At 06:00 I joined qigong in the temple hall. We practiced chenqi, laqi, pengqi guanding, and sanxin zhuang. The participants were about 10 people.

At about 09:30 Nuri picked Dastan up from his playgroup and dropped him at his house. I planned to go to the lab to meet Pranoto but then I cancelled it. He would not be in the lab because he would go to Manado.

It is Sunday. I was at home. I washed my clothes and ironed them in the afternoon. That was my Sunday or Saturday ritual. Nuri went out in the afternoon to shop at Superindo Shop. Lanjutannya...

Going Back to Semarang

It is Saturday. We woke up at 03:00 for having early breakfast in the hotel. I consumed papaya, asparagus soup, chou mifen, vegetables, and smashed tofu.

At 04:30 I went to the airport by a Gojek car. The street was wet, it indicated the rain had just stop.

I directly checked in. My flight was JT625. I got seat 12D. I put my backbag as baggage. I carry my amplang crecker as cabin luggage. I then came into the waiting room. I did prayer in the masala available.

At 06:10 local time. I boarded. At 06:50 our Lion Air Boeing 737-800NG took off for Semarang. At 07:10 we landed at Ahmad Yani Airport of Semarang. Nuri picked me up home. At 08:00 I arrived at home. I slept.

By dhuhur time Anindya and the gang came. I woke up and played with Dastan and Aishalina. At about 13:00 they left. Anindya would go to visit her under construction house.

We broke our fasting at 17:30. After isha time we went to a noodles counter in Paragon Mall. We parked the car at Bank Jateng parkir yard because we did not get space close to the mall. Lanjutannya...

Canceling Site Visiting

It is Friday. In the morning I, Pranoto, and Priyonggo had breakfast in the hotel. Hotel provided simple dishes but for me it was enough. After having breakfast Pranoto left the hotel for Semarang. I continued to sleep.

At 09:09 I, Priyonggo, and the driver (Udin) left the hotel for PT JBS office. Benny asked Priyonggo to bring ducuments from the office to Jakarta. We lost much time there to find the documents. When we found them and went to kilometerage 38 (PT WIKA office) we realized we had no time to visit the site. So, we cancelled it. At the office site we asked signatures of PT JBS officer. Then,we joined Friday prayer at the masjid.

We went to a cargo agent at the airport area. We found that the documents weight was 42 kg. Priyonggo spent about Rp600.000 to send them to Jakarta.

Before going back to the hotel we visited Klandasan Market and Balikpapan beach. At the market Priyonggo bought cashew nut. At the beach near Plaza Balikpapan we see the sea shore situation.

Maghrib came at 18:13. We broke our fasting in the hotel by having a cup of tea. At 19:00 we passed the BSB Balikpapan just to see the situation. We then left the location for Simpangraya Resto. We dined there. We move to Coffee Hoax Cafe for having coffee.

Moving to Balikpapan

It is Thursday. We still had early breakfast in the hotel. Outside the hotel, it was raining. The rain stopped at about 08:00.

At 09:00 we went to the office of river basins management. On the way we stopped at Restu Ibu Printshop to print drawings. The drawings then delivered to the office. We wanted to borrow documents but they missed the original ones. At PT JBS we found the scanned ones. Then, we went to Kilometerage 38 to met Subagyo.

At about 15:00 we arrived at Wika Office at Kilometerage 38. We had to wait for him for about an hour. After meeting him and some papers had been signed we found that we had no time to go to the field. We went to Balikpapan. By maghrib time we checked in at Whiz Hotel. I and Pranoto share room 702 while Priyonggo at room 701.

We dined at Koki Acang Food Stall. They provided calamar, chicken, sprout, and fried rice. I found the dishes were nice. After dining we hanged out at Lotus Cafe. Lanjutannya...

Surveying

It is Wednesday. The hotel provided early breakfast. I just consumed fruit, vegetables, egg, and chicken.

At 09:00 we went to the Management Office of Kalimantan River Basins 3. We met the chief, Anang. We then helped Rustiani and Deni to issued the technical recommendation. We went to the PT JBS office to get the director signature. We went back to the river basins management office to deliver the paper. We left the office after the papers were completed.

We went to the Kalimantan Timur Tranport Affair. Priyonggo delivered documents of sign and mark to an officer in charge.

About ashar time we went to Station 1+700 of Section 4. We stopped by at Wika Section 4 Office to get safety wearing stuff. At Station 1+700 we observed the causes of slope erosion. Before maghrib time we went back to the hotel. We broke our fasting at a point about 1km before the hotel.

Going to Balikpapan

It is Tuesday. I woke up at 01:30. I had an apple and dates for the early breakfast. At 05:15 I left the guesthouse for Kampung Rambutan Terminal. A Gojek bike brought me there. At 05:30 my Damri Airport bus departed for the airport. An hour later I arrived at Terminal 1C. My flight was Batik Air ID6258 scheduled to depart at 08:10. I and Priyonggo checked in at the same time. I got seat 29C while he got 29B.

The flight was on time. At 11:00 arrived at Balikpapan. Pranoto had been there. In 3 we went to Samarinda by a rent car. We stopped by at the office of airport authority to meet Agus. He is the chief of the office. He was a student my highschool and also my university. We were socializing for a while then left.

We went to the next stop, PT JBS office. We met Danu there. Priyonggo had something to discuss with him.

Another stop was Pondokgong River at the point of toll road crossing. We just to see the field. At 17:30 arrived at the hotel, Grand Sawit Hotel. I and Pranoto shared room 203.

In the evening we dined at Pondok Borneo Resto. Pranoto invited Maulani to join us. We spent Rp742.000 for 2 portions of crab, 1 portion of fried calamar, 2 portions of vegetables, crackers, rice and beverages. We enjoyed the dishes. Lanjutannya...

Being in the Office

It is Monday. I had my early breakfast at a nasi uduk kiosk. Preceeding that I consumed an apple just after I got up at 02:00.

Going to Jakarta

It is Sunday. In the morning I and Nuri had early breakfast. I consumed apple, salak, steamed chicken(pepes), and small portion of rice.

At about 08:30 I ironed the last clothes I has washed yesterday. Then, I prepared pictures of bridges location into folders. I would share them to officers in BWSK3.

At 15:00 Nuri accompanied me to Tawang Station. I would go to Jakarta. I prayed of Ashr at the mosque in the station area. My train was Argo Muria Coaches. It was scheduled to depart at 16:00. I was at coach 5 and on seat 10A. My beside was Hari an ITB Electro class 1973.

It is Saturday. I was at home. After having early breakfast I washed my clothes. Before 06:00 I dried them on hangers.

Going to the Campus

It is Friday. I went to the campus to meet Pranoto. We discussed his HEC-RAS run on bridges locations of Balikpapan Samarinda project. There were 2 assistants working for him. They were his students at the state of almost graduating. Before going back home we prayed at Masjid Baitul Ilmi.

On the way home I stopped by at Tawang Station to buy a ticket. I would go to Jakarta on Sunday afternoon.

Going to Semarang

It is Thursday. It is the first day of Ramadhan. I got up at 03:30 for early breakfast. I had an apple and water. I thought it was enough.

At 09:30 I went to the office. I dropped my clothes at a laundry shop. I arrived at the office at about 10:00. Benny and Anwar had been there. Later, Priyonggo came. I would discuss the drawings with Dery but he did not show up.

At 11:20 I left the office for Kampung Rambutan Terminal by a Gojek bike. Then, at 12:00 a Damri airport bus bought me to the airport. At 12:50 I arrived at the Terminal 1A. My flight was JT502 but it was united to JT516. I got seat 27D. My waiting room was A2. The flight was scheduled to depart at 14:50.

Gathering

It is Wednesday. I was at the office as usual. After dhuhur time I asked Atina, and Anwar to have lunch at Sederhana Resto. I actually also asked Priyonggo to join but he refused due to his schedule to meet a BPJT officer along with Gugun.

In the evening I went to Best Western Premier by a Gojek bike to meet my highschool mates. Ade, Wijayanto, Johny, and Seto gathered there. Till 22:00 we talked in a resto. By a Gojek car I went back to the guesthouse. I felt so exhausted. Lanjutannya...

Being in the Office

It is Tuesday. I had breakfast at Satuhati warung tegal. I arrived at the office at 09:15. My work load was going to lighter. Today I just reviewed my report and corrected. There were Atina, Panggih, and Anwar in the office. Benny and then Priyonggo came later. At 17:30 I left the office for trimming my hair. It was quick, a half hour later I was in the office again. I left the office after praying.

Going to Jakarta

It is Monday. At 05:00 Rahutama dropped me at the Tawang Station. I would go to Jakarta by train. My coaches train was Argo Sindoro. I got coach number 5 seat 4D.

At 06:00 the train departed for Jakarta. My seat neighbor was a young Nasional Auditor officer. We talked a lot. He was a graduate of ITB Environmental Engineering. He named him Mamok. 

At 12:00 we got off at Jatinegara Station. I went to Sinar Minang Resto for lunch. By a Gojek car then I went to the office. About 13:30 I arrived at the office. 

Office was relatively full. There were Benny, Priyonggo, Anwar, Panggih, and Atina. We discussed our work ending. 

At 18:00 I left the office. I stopped by at Alfa Midi supermarket to buy water and apples. I stopped by again at nasi uduk kiosk. At about 19:15 I arrived at the guesthouse. Lanjutannya...

Walking

It is Sunday. In the morning I walked till Karangayu Market. I traced the west walkway of the West Flood Canal. At about the Simongan Weir I met Harsono. We just shaked hands and separated. He seemed busy to managed the exercise.

On arriving at home I ironed clothes. They were just about 6 pieces, they were the remainder.

At about dhuhur time I and Rahutama went to Anindya's house to see the kids. Dastan walked crippled. Anindya would bring him to a masseur.

On the way home we seeked lunpia in package. We found that Lumpia Delight did not provide vacuum package lunpia. Lumpia Mataram, at the other hand, did. Rahutama would buy some for his colleagues in Singaraja. Lanjutannya...

Walking

It is Saturday. I did not feel well but I thought I was better than previous day. In the morning I walked till Karangayu Market. I drew money at an ATM gallery at Bank BCA Sudirman. On stepping at Gang Buto I found I almost stopped my breath.

By dhuhur time I and Rahutama went out. I was dropped at Poncol Station to buy a ticket for Jakarta. Rahutama continued going to Jalan Kranggan. He would by fabric for his uniforms. He then picked me up from the station. We went to have lunch at Bu Lin kiosk. My tongue had not been recovered yet because I could not found that the dish I had, mangut, was tasty.

At about 15:00 Bambang, Dien, their son, Eti visited us. They just visited Pak Azhari's grave. At about 16:00 Rahutama accompanied them to the station. They would go back to Purwokerto. Lanjutannya...

It is Friday. My health condition was still awful. I got low progress.

In the early morning I washed my clothes. The day was hot as usual so the clothes were dried before dhuhur time.

It is Thursday. In the morning I accompanied Nuri to see a doctor at Mardi Mulya Clinic.

At about 11:00 Rahutama came. He was from Singaraja then overnight in Gianyar. This morning he flew to Solo. He arrived at Semarang by a bus. A Gojek bike finally brought him home.

Going Back to Semarang

It is Monday. In the morning Pranoto sent me a message he just arrived at the office to join the meeting. I replied I would be coming late because I felt exhausted. I went to the office at 10:30 when the meeting almost concluded. The attendants were Benny, Basa, Ketut, Iwan, Bigman, Pranoto, Kunta, Fritz, Anwar, Atina, and Andri. At 12:00 the meeting concluded.

Basa was still in the office. He waited for drainage drawings and report. At about 14:30 they were ready. He left the office along with the stuffs.

At 17:00 I went to the guesthouse to pack my clothes. I was back to the office at 18:45 after praying and showering. At 19:00 I and Pranoto left the office for Halim Airport. We stopped by at Bakmi Jowo shop for dinner. At 20:00 we arrived at the airport.

We checked in. I got seat 6C and Pranoto 6E. At 20:50 we boarded and at 21:30 Airbus A320 Batik Air flight IW took off for Semarang. At 22:20 we landed at Ahmad Yani Airport of Semarang. Pranoto gave me ride to be back home. Lanjutannya...

Going to Jakarta

It is Sunday. I went to Jakarta. Nuri dropped me at the airport at 12:20. I directly checked in and I got seat 36B. My flight was Lion Air JT507 scheduled to depart at 13:05. It was delayed, as usual. It took off 13:45 and landed 14:40. An airport bus thought me to Kampung Rambutan but at Taman Mini area I got off.

I walked in Tamini Square Mall for urinating. I wanted to have something to eat but I did not find it. I was out of the mall then got in a public transport car. Car number 02. I got off at a point close to the office. It was maghrib time.

I worked in the office to sign drawings. An office boy, Fahmi, helped me to buy Javaness styled noodles (bakmi jowo) for dinner. At 20:30 I left the office for guesthouse. In all night I was coughing. I guessed Bambang, my room mate, was bothered. Lanjutannya...

It is Saturday. I and Nuri were still in a bad condition. At 11:30 we were at Ronggolawe Museum to see Dastan's performance. He was dancing along with his playgroup members. It is Friday. In the morning Anindya came by.she would dropped Dastan at home but he did not want to be. So, they continued to go to Dastan's play group. At 11:00 Anindya phoned me asking Nuri to picked up Dastan from Ronggolawe Museum.

I did not join the Friday prayer because I was still terrible. It is the second consecutive time I am absent from the prayer.

It is Thursday. My condition seemed no progress, terrible. I and Nuri had breakfast at Pak Man Soto Shop. We then went to Bank Jateng Kelud to withdraw my pension salary. We met Sudiono and wife. Nuri dropped me home then she went out for shopping.

It is Wednesday. I was at home for recovering. Nuri picked up Dastan from his playgroup and dropped him to his house then joined a monthly gathering of itb alumni wives.

At about 11:30 Lik Santo, Lik War, and Fitri came by. They just visited me shortly then went to Asri's house.

It is Tuesday. It is the first day of May. It was a public holiday for labour movement commemoration. I was at home sleeping.
