Visiting Friend

It is Wednesday. I went to the office at 09:30. I stopped by at Satuhati warung tegal for breakfast. In the office there is Atina, Herry, Supardji, Citroseno, and Amor.

At 10:30 I went to Endianto's house in TVRI Housing by a Gojek bike. It costed Rp11.000. I whatched Endianto practicing his expertise to brew coffee. He made me a cup of coffee using pressed method. It was good. Endianto also offered me to taste cold brewed coffee he has bought in Bandung. It was very tasty. Endi also served me with lunch.

Amid watching Endianto brewing coffee Said, Tidar, Wuri, and her grandson dropped by. Said is Endianto's best friend. Tidar is his wife, Wuri is Djoko's wife.

Being Ill

It is Tuesday. I did not feel good. Though I still went to the office. I had breakfast at Satuhati warung tegal. I ordered vegetables and egg, no rice. In the office I found Benny was also in bad condition. At noon I ordered nasi soto for our lunch.

Going to Jakarta

It is Monday. I joined qigong in the temple hall. The participants were 12 people. We practiced chenqi, laqi, pengqi guanding, and sanxin zhuang. Amid the practice I gave my Capgomeh gathering share to Melanie.

At 15:15 I accompanied Rahutama to send his stuff to Singaraja using Elteha Cargo. He dropped it on the office on Jalan Karangsaru. On the way home we found the traffic was dense. We had to take a long route.

We stopped by at Cak Rus Barber stall for trimming my hair. The tariff was Rp14.000.

At 19:00 Rahutama dropped me at the airport. I would go to Jakarta. He seemed being deep feelings since I might not be beside him when he go to Bali.

My flight ✈ was Batik Air ID7558. It scheduled to depart at 20:15. I was on seat 5D. At 19:50 Batik Air Airbus A320 took off for Jakarta. It landed on Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport of Jakarta at 21:35. I then ordered a Gojek car to get me to the guesthouse. It costed Rp71.000. It is Sunday. In the morning I washed my clothes and hanged them to dry before the sun showed up. They were dried before dhuhur time. I ironed them in the afternoon.

Before dhuhur time I accompanied Anindya to buy glasses at Melawai Optical, Gajahmada utilizing my point. Dastan was along with us. My point was Rp404.000 and the glasses price was about Rp500.000. She had to add with Rp100.000.

Going Back to Semarang

It is Friday. I ate a banana 🍌 for my breakfast. I went to the office at 08:00. At a laundry shop I put my clothes. I intended to stop by at Satuhati warung tegal but it was out of duty.

In the office I and Maulani still fixed the cross drains data. At 12:00 I joined Friday prayer at Masjid Baiturrahim.

At 12:45 I left the office for Kampung Rambutan Terminal. At 13:15 the bus I was in departed from the terminal to the airport. It was smooth so at 14:30 I arrived at the Soekarno Hatta Airport Terminal 1A. I had a bowl of soto ayam for my lunch.

My flight was Lionair JT514 scheduled to depart at 16:50. I got seat 9A. Surprisingly, it was relatively on time. At 17:10 Lionair Boeing 737-900ER took off for Semarang. It landed at 18:00.

It is Thursday. I went to the office little bit late. I arrived at the office at 10:00. I had breakfast at Bu Roto's shop.

I was in the office all day. I and Maulani still fixed the catchment areas of the cross drains. I also discussed with Anwar and Benny relating river surveying. The colleagues were Priyonggo, Anwar, Herry, Imam, and Citroseno. I bought donuts to celebrate the birthdays of Citroseno and Kunta.

Consultative Meeting

It is Wednesday. At 08:30 I went to the office of Ministry of Transportation to join a consultative meeting on detail engineering design of Morowali Airport. I ordered a Gojek car to bring me there. I spent Rp97.000. At 10:00 I arrived at the office. Mahardi and Tjetjep then arrived.

The meeting managed simultaneously to each disciplines of Master Plan, Architecture, and Drainage. My discipline, drainage meeting started at 14:00. The officer in charge was Farlen who directed our scheme. At 14:30 it concluded. I went to Gambir Station.

I intended to buy a ticket to Semarang for Friday but I found the ticket booth closed. The business hour was 07:00 - 12:00. I could not understand why they opened the booth so short.

So, I went to the office in Cipayung by a Gojek car again. I spent Rp88.000. On the way Seta phoned me asked for joining a gathering. I refused to join because I almost arrived at the office.

In the office I and Anwar came to Benny to show Anwar's plan to survey rivers as my request. Benny refused the plan. He assumed the work completed and no more work.

Being in the Office

It is Tuesday. In the morning I walked around the housing area. It took about 30 minutes. I went to the office at about 08:15. I stopped by at Satu Hati warung tegal for breakfast. I just ate vegetables and a boiled egg. In the mid day I had fried chicken for lunch.

It is Monday. In the morning I made analysis of land space drainage system of Morowali Airport as requested by Mahardi. At about 13:00 I settled it.

Today Rahutama was in Singaraja. He told he was assigned to lecture. He got a rector decree appointing as a contract lecturer. He then seeked for a boarding house.

At 15:55 Nuri dropped me at the airport. I would go to Jakarta. I checked in my flight JT517. It was scheduled to depart at 16:35 but it was delayed as usual. At 17:45 Lionair Boeing 747-900ER took off for Jakarta. I was on seat 5F. At 18:40 it landed on the Cengkareng Airport. I took an airport bus leading to Kampung Rambutan Terminal. Going to Surakarta

It is Sunday. The Black-4 Sunday-9 (Ahad Wage 9). At 02.00 in the morning I, Nuri, and Rahutama went to Surakarta by our Toyota Rush car. I and Nuri accompanied him to the Panasan Airport of Surakarta. He would go to Denpasar responding a call from Undiksha (Ganesha Education University).

We traced the toll road exiting at Tingkir gate. At 02:30 we arrived at Pertamina Bolon Fueling Station. We had break there. At 04:15 we continued going to the airport. Anindya's Birthday

It is Saturday. This day seemed cloudy but then turned to sunny. So, I was eager to washed my clothes. After dhuhur time they were dried. I ironed all of them.

Nuri did not made any dish so I and Rahutama had lunch at Bu Lin's Kiosk. I had my favorite dish, nasi mangut.

In the afternoon I fixed my tee shirts by reminded them. Several shirts had been mend-loose made them untidy.

In the evening Anindya invited us to celebrate her birthday at Basilia Kitchen. I, Nuri, Rahutama, Anindya, Bagus, Dastan, Ailin, and Bibik had dinner there. I loved to see Ailin, she was so cute. Lanjutannya...

Going Back to Semarang

It is Friday. At 04:30 I checked out from the hotel. A Grabcar brought me to the airport. The charge was Rp38.000 added by parking fee Rp5.000 to Rp43.000.

I directly checked in. My flight was JT625 leading to Semarang. My seat was 21F. In the waiting room I did my dawn prayer. Before boarding I had a donut and coffee. Boarding was scheduled at 06:10. It was relatively on time, at 06:50 the Lionair Boeing 737-800NG took off from Sepinggan Airport. At 07:15 Semarang time it landed at Ahmad Yani Airport of Semarang. Nuri picked me up. At 08:00 I arrived at home.

Going to Tenggarong

It is Thursday. I, Priyonggo, and Anwar went to Tenggarong the capital of Kutai Kartanegara Regency. A driver accompanied us with his Toyota Innova car.

The first destination was the Mulawarman Museum. This museum exhibited collection about social and culture aspects such as ethnic, kingdoms, mines, ceramics, numismatic, etc. Almost an hour we were here.

The second destination was the Woods Museum that exhibited flora and fauna of the province. The museum was small but compact. Many kinds of flora and fauna were collected here.

The third destination was Tepian Pandan Resto. We had lunch there. Seafood based dishes were provided here. We ordered fish, calamari, shrimp, and small fish.

We then went to Balikpapan. At about maghrib time we arrived at Nuansa Indah Hotel. I checked in and got room 245. The room was OK.

In the evening we went out to seek a lae fruit. It resembles durian without bad smell. We did not find it. So, went to Hoax Coffee and Relax for having coffee. Edo and Anto joined us. Lanjutannya...

Going to Samarinda

It is Tuesday. I went to the office by having a ride form Wahyudi. I brought a luggage so I needed his help. In the office I met Benny, Supardji, and Panggih. At 11:00 I ordered a Gojek car to bring me to Terminal Rambutan. I got in a Damri Airport bus scheduled to depart at 11:30.

At 13:00 I arrived at Terminal 2F of the Soekarno Hatta Airport. Herry was waiting for me at the Gate 4F. He gave me my boarding pass. My flight was SJ158 and my seat was 32A. Herry was at 32C.

After checking in my luggage I had a fish porridge at a food counter. We also paid our prayer in a praying room. At 13:50 we boarded.

At about 14:30 a Sriwijaya Boeing 737-800NG took off bringing us to Balikpapan. The flight was smooth. At we landed at Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Airport of Balikpapan.

I ordered a car to bring me to Samarinda. The tariff was Rp300.000. Herry got a ride for Rp30.000 with the same car. So, after dropping him at Benakutai Hotel I went to Samarinda. Being in the Office

It is Monday. I was in the office almost all day. There were Benny, Supardji, Herry, Citroseno, Atina, Amor, etc.

Indonesia filled the day to prepare myself for trip to Samarinda tomorrow. I directed Maulani to fix the maps. I also directed Gugun to fix bridge drawings. At 16:00 Maulani left the office for Jogja. She would join an interviewing test.

Going to Jakarta

It is Sunday. In the morning I made 2 cups of coffee using my coffee maker. I found the coffee was not tasty enough. I wondered it took much time to pour water on the coffee so the bitter components arised.

At about 10:00 Anindya, Bagus, Dastan, and Aishalina came home. We were happy. Aishalina was so cute and Dastan was little bit naughty. Anindya told us about her project, building a house. They went back when I had afternoon sleep.

At 17:45 Nuri dropped me to the airport. I would go Jakarta. My flight was Lionair JT515 scheduled to depart at 18:35. As usual the flight was delayed. The checking in officer told it was delayed to an hour. At about 19:00 we boarded. The Lionair Boeing 737-900ER took off at 19:40. I was on seat 34F. At 20:30 we landed at the Soekarno Hatta Airport of Jakarta. At 23:00 I arrived at the guesthouse.

Going to Salaman

It is Saturday. At 07:20 I, Rahutama, Fitriani, and Asri left home for Selaman. It had been long time since my last visit happened. We stopped by at Lawuh Dessert kitchen in Salatiga to have breakfast. They provided various Javanese traditional dishes. We then passed through Tegalrejo to get in Salaman.

My objective was actually to get durian fruits so after having rest for a while I, Rahutama, and Lik Santo went to Purworejo. At Kaliboto we bought 2 small durians costed Rp30.000 each. We found they were watery and less sweet. We then went to Bagelen. We found a durian kiosk at the t-intersection. We bought 3 medium size durians at Rp100.000. They were excellent so we enjoyed having durians.

Rahutama slept after arriving at the Salaman house. He needed to have rest. Before maghrib time we left the house for Semarang. We wanted to have dinner at Tahu Pojok kiosk but it closed so we turned our direction to Salatiga through Kopeng. We wanted to have dinner at Bu Toha Fried Chicken. Lanjutannya...

Being at Home

It is Friday. I slept again after praying. At 10:00 Rahutama picked Dastan up from his playgroup. He transitted at home. At 12:00 I joined Friday Prayer in the Masjid Attaqwa. At 13:00 I and Rahutama went to his house to drop him. When we arrived there, Om Beni and Mrs. Djoni were there. Dastan directly stuck to them. He accompanied them to their house.

I and Rahutama went to Bu Lin kiosk to have lunch. I had my favorite dish, nasi mangut. We spent Rp43.000. We then went to Sukorejo area to get at Gaharu Coffee where we bought coffee filter paper. At about 16:00 we arrived at home.

Today I arranged to meet friends in Strada Coffee Shop. Only Hidayat confirmed to join. The others could not join because of various causes. Pranoto would join his colleagues in the campus, Zaenal had to join his family gathering, Suprapto had problem at his car. In the late time Hidayat cancelled to join because it seemed to be raining. Going Back to Semarang

It is Thursday. We had good breakfast in the hotel. At 09:30 I, Anwar, Priyonggo, Citroseno, and Maulani went to Pasar Sayur, an old market in Balikpapan. There were many things offered such as gemstone, traditional textiles, etc. I was not interested on them so I went to Depot Nam Min to have coffee. I had it along with sarikaya baked bread. It was ok but not as tasty as bread of Dong Dao coffee shop in Pangkalpinang. At 11:00 we went back to the hotel.

At 12:00 we went to the airport. Our flight was Citilink QG861 leading to the Cengkareng Airport of Jakarta. It was scheduled to depart at 14:40 local time. I got seat 28A, Priyonggo 28B, Anwar 28C, Citroseno 28D, and Maulani 28C. Before boarding we went to the parking area to have lunch. There was a food court there and the price was budget. I spend Rp16.000 for a plate of lunch dish. At 14:30 we boarded and at about 15:44 our plane a Citilink Airbus 320-200 took off from Sepinggan Airport. Though cloudy our flight was smooth, at 17:32 Balikpapan time or 16:32 it landed at Cengkareng airport.

I tried to get a continuing flight to Semarang so in a hurry I went to the Batik Air counter. I tried to get flight of 18:00 but unfortunately I arrived there at 17:05. The ticket selling had been closed. So, I bought the next time ticket, it was schedule to depart at 19:50, ID8938. It was Rp590.000. At 20:10 a Batik Air Airbus 320 took off for Semarang. Presentation

It is Wednesday. We had breakfast in the hotel. At 09:00 we were in the Darmawanita Room of the Public Works Department of East Kalimantan to prepare my presentation.

At 10:15 the presentation session started. It was chaired by Arif, the Section Head of Operation and Maintenance. He was the chairman of Engineering Recomendation Committee. My presentation was drainage system of the toll road. It was a step to get the recommendation. The audience was several people from the Environmental Impact Assessment Agency, The Water Resources Management Agency, Road and Bridge Agency, and the Project Team (investor, contractor, supervision consultant, and management consultant). At 12:00 we concluded the presentation with several suggestions. We went to the hotel for checking out.

I, Priyonggo, Anwar, Citroseno, Kunta, and Maulani went to Balikpapan. We stopped by at Karso Noodles Kiosk for lunch. We stopped by again at kilometerage 26 of the toll road to see the inundation of Beras River. At 16:30 we arrived at the Nuansa Indah Hotel. I and Citroseno shared room 327. I went to an Indomaret store nearby to get a cup of americano.

Going to Samarinda

It is Tuesday. I went to the office on having ride of Wahyudi. It was cloudy and seemed to be raining. I arrived at 09:15 and a half hour later Atina, Harry, and Suparji came. At 11:15 by a Gojek car I and Maulani went to the airport. We would go to Samarinda.

At 12:15 we arrived at Terminal 2F of the airport. Our flight was Sriwijaya Air SJ scheduled to depart at 14:15.

At 15:05 Sriwijaya Air Boeing 737-800NG took off from the Cengkareng Airport. I was on seat 27D while Maulani on seat 30A. Though cloudy our flight was going smoothly. It is Monday. At 05:00 Nuri dropped me at the airport. I would go to Bandung. My flight was NamAir IN234 scheduled to depart at 06:05. It was almost on time. At 06:20 NAM Air ATR 72-600 took off. I was on seat 17A, having a view through. At 07:30 we landed at Husein Sastranegara Airport of Bandung. I stopped by at Walini Tea Shop and by a Gojek car I went to Mahardi's office.

As his message I corrected the drawing and the report. Two students accompanied us. At about 16:00 Mahardi came. We discussed the meeting planned to be organized on Wednesday. At 19:00 we left to the railway station, he dropped me there. At 19:40 I was in Parahyangan Train, couch eksekutif3 seat 13D leaving for Gambir Jakarta.

Going Back to Semarang

It is Saturday. At 04:45 I checked out from the hotel. A Gojek car of Rp30.000 brought me to the airport. My flight was JT625 and I got seat 30C. Survey Again

It is Friday. I worked in the hotel to coordinate the team. I missed my Friday prayer because I was so focus with the work. At 13:00 Fritz asked me to do join survey at Section 3. I catched a taxi to carry me to the Wika Project Office. I arrived there about an hour later.

I, Fritz, Roland, and Edo went to the site. It was kilometerage 62. The problem was box gilbert failure. It was broken and made road settlement. We discussed the solution. I thought removing the culvert and replacing with a new one was the easiest way.

We stopped by at the Section 3 Office. I met Vico. We discussed the dewatering of kilometerage 59+800. The contractor had difficulty to do it. I suggested to make 2 trenches parallel to the road. On the way back I discussed it with Fritz.

Going to Palaran

It is Thursday. I had no schedule to go out. However, I thought being in the hotel would be boring so I accompanied Atina going to Palaran.

He ordered a taxi to carry us there but it seemed the driver was not favourable. So, we cancelled it and we ordered the second car as helped by Gugun. The driver was Harjoni.

Our first destination was Wika Project Office. We left the hotel at 10:30. Before arriving there we had lunch at a warung solo, close to the kilometerage 38. We then arrived at the office at 12:30.

Atina directed his assistant. We did prayer there. Then, everything was settled.

At about 13:00 we left the office for Palaran. We found heavy rain in Samboja and Palaran. We entered Mangkujenang street to visit location of toll exit. Unfortunately, there was inundation that prevented us to enter the location. So, we cancelled for site visit.

We went back to the office. On the way we stopped 2 times. In Palaran we had tasty soto banjar and in front of Masjid Cheng Ho we had coffee. We paid our maghrib prayer there. At about 20:00 we arrived at the office.
