It is Friday. In the morning we still maintained our early breakfast in the hotel.
At 08:30 we went to Samarinda. We stopped by at the investor office to take the paper. It took too long to get it because we had to wait for Tria, the paper keeper. At 09:30 we continued to go. Our team consisted of me, Priyonggo, Citroseno, Hari, and Edo. The driver was Anto.
At 11:30 we arrived at Samarinda, at the office of Public Works Department of East Kalimantan. We could not find the officers. They went to mosques to join the Friday prayer.
We went to the Islamic Center Mosque, the biggest and most luxurious one in the town. It was relatively new. We found that Lukman Hakim Saifuddin (the Minister of Religion) and Awang Faruk (the Governor of East Kalimantan) were joining here.
We were back to the office. We realized that the office hour was till 11:00. So, our mission to see them seemed failed.
We would go to the office of Kalimantan III River Basins Management. It was agency of the Ministry of Public Works. Fortunately, the office was there, in the same building.
We welcomed by the manager, Aries Rachman and his subordinates. He explained the process of issuing the permission to build structures over the water body.
To wait for breaking fasting we shopped crafts at the market near Pasar Pagi. I bought a tee shirt for Dastan.
We broke our fasting in the Masjid Darussalam, an old masjid used to be the biggest one in the town. The masjid caretaker provided water, tea, and snacks to those who wanted to broke their fasting there. A maghrib praying ended our visit there.
We had dinner in a food stall nearby. I consumed 2 medium size shrimps and also braised chicken gizzard and liver.
At about 20:00 we left Samarinda. We stopped by at a place named Warungpanjang for having rest and coffee. At 23:00 we arrived at the hotel.
