The Last Day of Year 2013

It was Tuesday. It was the last day of 2013. It was not special for me. I did my activities as usual. In the morning I joined the qigong. It was light showering when I went there. It continued when I was practicing the qigong. The participants were only 6 people. We had brief chat after practicing.

when I was home after qigong, Bu Kus was trying to unlock the front door. The lock was out of order because at the same time there was another key attached inside. Then, Rahutama and Pak Kus was busy to fix it. Asri came home to made dishes for me. She reported that Pak Yus was at her house to install AC and electric parts. At 11:00 I and Rahutama went out to meet Mr. Sarwono in the office to pick writing material. We cancelled it because he was out. Instead, we went to Citra Bundo Resto to by nasi padang. At home we enjoyed it.

Nuri Going to Surabaya

It was Monday. In the morning at 05:30 I accompanied Nuri and mbak Poppy going to Tawang station. They would go to Surabaya by Harina Coaches departing at 06:30. I just dropped them there and went to Taykaksie temple.

I was the first man arrived there. Till 06:10 when the exercise started the participants were only 6 people. The light showering could hinder the others.

Cutting Hair

It was Sunday. I felt my hair was not in a good shape, it was the time to trim. Before maghrib time I went to Cake Russia barbershop. There was a pupil in front of me so I went to the close mosque to pray maghrib. My turn came after finishing the prayer. Trimming hair cos ted Rp12.000.

This morning I practiced qigong at home. I did chenqi and xingshenzhuang. I felt ok after finishing it. Before noon Nuri and mbak Poppy went out to buy oleholeh. In the evening Asri and Argi came home for social visit. Lanjutannya...

Peni Going Back to Tangerang

It was Saturday. Peni went back to Tangerang by Lionair scheduled departing at 17:00. Mbak Poppy, Asri, Rahutama and Argi dropped her at the airport.

Seeing a Doctor

It was Friday. At 18:00 after maghrib time I and Nuri went to Lampersari to see doctor Sumanto. It was a routine check. There were 4 people before my turn. We showed him my CTscan and K-RAS test sheets. He prescribed for a month medicines.

This morning I did not join the qigong because I planned to go to Nasmoco workshop to put the car for a routine check. At 08:00 I went to the workshop on Jalan Majapahit. At 09:00 the administration was made, the technician told me the car would be completely checked at 15:00. So, I went back. I got on a Trans Semarang bus. The ticket was Rp3.500. I got up at the Bulu bus stop. I withdrew money from an ATM then I walked home. At 16:00 the technicians delivered the car and I paid off the bill. It was Rp996.000.

Asri Moving

It was Tuesday. This morning on arriving at home from qigong exercising, Lik Santo had been at home. Nuri said that Asri, Peni, Rahutama and Argi had arrived at home from Serang. Minutes later Lik Santo and Adi arrived at home from Magelang. The would help Asri unloaded and make Asri's stuffs in order in her house. This day was her first day in Semarang after her moving from Serang.

Anindya Going to Jakarta

It was Wednesday. It was Christmas Day. This morning at 04:50 I, Nuri and mbak Poppy accompanied Anindya, Dastan and Bibik went to Tawang station. They would go to Jakarta by Argo Muria Coaches that departed at 05:30. We dropped them there and we felt as if we lost our sweetheart, Dastan.

Welcoming Guests

It was Tuesday. I welcomed guests twice. The first one was Mr. Sudiyarto, my colleague in the Agency of Human Settlements. He came in the morning. We had an hour chat concerning his works and colleagues. The second ones were Islamic scolars that came after maghrib time. They told me they were from Bangladesh and this evening would give speech in our mosque, Attaqwa. They invited me to join. I refused to join them because I had no time to clarify them.

This morning I joined the qigong. The participants were only 7 people. I thought some people had taken Christmas holiday and left the town. After I arrived at home Nuri washed the car. Anindya took Dastan to Sugijapranata Clinic for being massaged. Mbak Poppy went out to buy some items. In the afternoon Mrs. Djoni and Om Beni came to visit Dastan.

Changing the Watch Battery

It was Monday. I realized my wristwatch had been off for months. At the beginning I thought I did not need to use it because my handset might show me the time. Then, I realized it was not practical so I had to replaced the battery with a new one. This morning at 09:00 I went to a watch store to do it. The battery costed Rp50,000.

This morning I went to the temple to join qigong. The participants were about 8. After practicing qigong we replaced the wall clock battery with a new one. It was an energy consuming effort because the clock was hanged high.

In the afternoon Nuri and mbak Poppy went to Ada Supermarket for shopping. In the evening Bagus came for a while to see Dastan.

Being at Home

It was Sunday. In the morning I did qigong by practicing chenqi and pengqi guanding. In the same time Anindya and Dastan came from Erlangga.

The day was still cloudy. Nuri made lodeh dish and fried shrimp. In the afternoon Nuri, Anindya and mbak Poppy went to Nagatomi store to buy baby clothes. In coming home they brought me pizza. The vegetarian one was good for me. In the early evening Mr. And Mrs. Djoni came to pass their oleholeh. They was just from Surakarta.

Being a Home

It was Saturday. I was still at home. Argi sent a message that he and Rahutama was just leaving the porridge stand hearing to Mahardi's house, they had arrived at Bandung.

Rahutama Going to Bandung

After maghrib time Rahutama and Argi left Semarang for Bandung by Anindya's car. The purpose was just to take it to Jakarta. After being at Bandung for about 3 night Rahutama would continue to Jakarta.

This morning I went to the temple to join the qigong. The participants were about 10 people. After being home and having breakfast I slept. I joined the Friday prayer at Attaqwa mosque. At 13:00 mbak Poppy came. She was fetched by Nuri, Anindya and Dastan. She arrived at the Tawang station at 12:00 from Surabaya Pasarturi. She used Argo Bromo coaches. Lanjutannya...

Joining 2 Meetings

It was Tuesday. I joined 2 meetings. The first one was managed by LPJK to fix the coordination between USBU (sertication unit for companies) and the companies association. Mr. Supartono opened it and Mr. Bagio presented the problem. I was just in the meeting for an hour then left for the other.

The second one was a Dewan SDA meeting at the office, Wadaslintang Room. I joined at 10:30 when the meeting was in progress. I just escorted the secretariat running thE meeting.

In the afternoon Anindya, Nuri and Dastan went to the Elisabeth Hospital to see a doctor to have immunization for Dastan. The arrived at home after maghrib time.

Finishing an Article

It was Wednesday. I joined the qigong after 5 days absence. The participants were around 8 people. We practiced chenqi, laqi, pengqi guanding and sanxin bing zhanzhuang. At home I slept after having breakfast.

Nuri went to Canadian Resto to join a monthly ex public works employees' wives gathering in the morning. I had nothing to do in the afternoon but I finished my article in the evening. Having a Rest

It was Tuesday. At 03:07 the train arrived at the Tawang Station. It was 1hour 7minutes late. The rail laying between Ujungnegoro and Semarang was the cause of the late. Rahutama picked me up home. Then, I tried to sleep. At 04:00 I got up for praying. I tried again to sleep. At 09:00 I got up again. I went to the office at 10:00. I thought there was a Dewan SDA meeting but Niken said that the meeting would be on Tuesday. So, I went back home and tried to sleep.

At 15:00 I and Rahutama went to the Chaniago Resto to have lunch. Then we went to Avia Ban to change car's tyres. We chose 4 pieces of Gajahtunggal tyre. The price was Rp420.000 each comparable to the price of a Brigdestone one priced Rp640.000. The old tyres (3 pieces still good condition) were sold on Rp75.000. We also changed the wiper blades for Rp85.000 (2 pieces) and spooring the car for Rp80.000.

In the evening Rahutama and Argi went to ACE Hardware to buy a piece of sponge. It good for washing a car. Bagus came and at 20:00 he, Anindya and Dastan went to Erlangga for overnight. Lanjutannya...

Joining a Meeting

It was Monday. At 09:00 I came to the meeting room to a meeting. The meeting was National Meeting of The Union of Indonesia Construction Engineers and Technicians (GATAKI). Mr. Hendri Abubakar as the National Management Board Chairman opened it. It presentation about a new technology in lighting was conducted by a representation of a company. Then it was followed by discussion of organization program and selecting the new management. At 15:00 the meeting concluded.

This morning I got up, prayed and practiced chenqi. At 06:30 I went down to the first floor to the Ritz Cafe to have breakfast. I shared a table to Mr. and Mrs Hendri. We talked about anything but eventually came to our health. She got desease as what I got. At 08:00 I finished and went up.

At 16:30 I checked out of the hotel and got a taxi to the Gambir station. I had dinner and praying there. At 19:00 I was on the Sembrani Coachs leaving Jakarta for Semarang. Lanjutannya...

Going to Jakarta

At 06:30 I escorted by Bagus,Anindya and Dastan, went to the airport. I was dropped there. At 07:25 I flew with Lionair JT501. At 08:20 the plane was landed. Then, I went to the Gambir station to get ticket to be back to Semarang. The Sembrani coaches ticket costed Rp260.000. I had lunch in the station. By taxi I went to Sahardjo street to visit Bulik Metti. At about 12:00 I left that place to go to Orchardz Hotel. I met Mr. Ujang and Mr. Zulkifli.

Joining a Wedding Party

It was Saturday. I spent all of my time to go to Jogja to join a wedding party. Mr. Guntoro managed it in the UGM University Club at 12:00 to 14:00 to celebrate the marriage of his daughter Brigitte to Gregory. As usual a wedding party as if a reunion among the invitees. I met Mr. Nidhom A., Mr. Inu K., Mr. Prasetyo B., Mr. Triwidodo D., Mr. Meiyanto, Mr. D. Legono, Mr. Sugiyanto, etc. They were with their spouses. I met also Mr. A. Helmi, Mrs. Rani F. and Mr. V. Tjahjono. We were served with good dishes.

This morning I got up at 04:50, prayed and prepared myself to go. At 07:00 I and Rahutama as a driver went to Jogja. We arrived at the wedding venue at 10:30 and an hour later I joined the invitees. At 13:00 I left the venue and at 14:00 left Jogja. The traffic was flowing but it then congested entering Ungaran. We had dinner at Citra Bundo Resto. At 19:00 we arrived at home. Lanjutannya...

Being at Home

It was Friday. I continued my sleep after praying. After getting up again I practiced 抻气 and 捧气贯顶 at home.

I joined the Friday prayer at the Attaqwa mosque. In the afternoon I accompanied Pak Rozi to survey Asri's house. In the evening Bagus, Mrs. and Mr. Djoni came home to visit Dastan. It was showering in the afternoon to evening. Lanjutannya...

Joining a Meeting

At 09:00 I went to the office to join special committee of governor regulation on hydrology information system. Ms. Dini chaired the meeting, Mr. Bena was with her. I, Mr. Ghozi, Mr. Suhartono and Mr. Djumono escorted the meeting. The meeting agreed the draft of the regulation.

This morning I joined the qigong. We practiced chenqi and 形神庄 (xing shen zhuang). It was about 8 people to join. In the evening I and Nuri shaved Dastan's hair until he was bold.

The sky was cloudy and occasionally, it was showering. The temperature was low. It was nice.

Seeing the Doctor

It was Wednesday. I accompanied by Nuri, at 14:00 went to the Telogorejo Hospital to see doctor Suharti. We consulted the K-RAS test result. She said that my case was Normal, so she suggested me to continue the chemotherapy using the former medicines. The therapy would be stopped if it was not effective or if I could not resist it anymore. I was little bit unhappy but I knew I had to follow her suggestion.

This morning I joined the qigong in the temple hall. The participants were about 11 people. We practiced chenqi, laqi, pengqi guanding and sanxin bing zhanzhuang. At 09:00 Rahutama went to the hospital to put my name on the list of people wanted to see the doctor.Mrs. Djoni came to see Dastan. She as accompanied by Om Beni. It was Tuesday. I went to the temple to join the qigong. We practiced xing shen zhuan and peng qi guan ding. The principal came to join.

Going Out

It was Sunday. In the afternoon I was accompanied by Rahutama went to Tatik's house to get my batik fabric. Risna sent it to me and other schoolmates. Risna and them would join a reunion in Jakarta wearing the batik, a Magelang styled batik.

This morning I got up early for praying then slept again. At about 07:30 Mr. and Mrs. Djoni came home to pass soto dish for Anindya. In the evening after coming to Tatik's house I had lunch at Chaniago Padang Resto. In the evening Bagus and Anindya went out for 3 hours. Dastan was left at home. He was overnight at home. Getting Dinner Out

It was Saturday. In the evening I, Nuri, Anindya, Rahutama, Argi and Dastan the baby went to the Fresh, Eat & Drink resto in the Marina area to have dinner. It was a cozy place. I tried fish curry dressing spagetti and Japanese green tea.

Joining a Meeting

It was Friday. I went to have office at 09:00 to join the discussion to arrange the agenda for the last plenary meeting of the Central Java Water Resources Council. The meeting was led by Mr. Bena and participated by Mr. Ghozi and Sugeng.

This morning I joined the qigong. We practiced chenqi, pengqi guanding and xing shen zhuan. At 08:00 I was at home again.

Being with Guests

It was Thursday. By 09:00 I was in a hurry going to the office. I and Mr. Bena would be with the guests going to Jatibarang Dam site. It took an hour to get there. At 10:00 we arrived at the project management office. An officer had been ready to welcome us. He described the construction of the dam. The dam was still being under construction. The earthfill was about 4 meters below the design level. It was a behind schedule progress. At 12:00 the visit finished so we dismissed. On the way back to the office I, Mr. Bena, Suyono, Niken, Dedi and Rifana the driver had lunch at Chaniago Resto.

In the morning I went to the temple to join the qigong. The session was chenqi and xing shen zhuang and faqi. I did not join the faqi because I had no time.

In the afternoon Nuri, Anindya and Dastan went to the Elizabeth Hospital clinic to get immunization for Dastan. Dastan was 5,5kg / 56cm. Lanjutannya...

It was Wednesday. At 12:00 I went to the office to join Mr. Bena and Mr. Ghozi welcoming guests from Jogjakarta. The guests were members of the Jogjakarta WR Council arrived at 14:15. We were discussing what we had done in Central Java. The meeting concluded at 16:30.

Being Lazy

It was Tuesday. This morning I got up at 04:30, prayed and slept again. I did not join the qigong to have energy to write an article. Obviously, I did not do anything.

At noon Mrs. Djoni and Om Benny came to see Dastan for about an hour. They left when it was showering. In the afternoon Anindya, Dastan and Bagus went out for sight seeing. Lanjutannya...

Buying Medicines

It was Monday. I joined the qigong in the morning. It started at 05:55 and finished at 07:00. We had 3 methods: chenqi 抻气, pengqi guanding 捧气贯顶and sanxin bing zhanzhuang 三心并站壮.

In the afternoon I and Rahutama went to Brumbungan to take pictures of the house. Bagus fetched Anindya and Dastan for going to Erlangga. They were back at 21:00.

In the evening I and Rahutama went to the Sehat Pharmacy to redeem medicines for 15days. They were pletaal 50mg 1tablet a day, methycobal 250ug 2capsules a day, sulcolon 500mg 2 caplets a day, biobran 250 2 tablets a day and rillus 1tablet a day. Lanjutannya...

Costly Meals

It was Sunday. It was the day for relaxing. I continued my sleep after praying. I was at home all day long.

Nuri made spaghetti for our breakfast. She used chicken to made the dressing because I was suggested to avoid beef. At noon Nuri and Anindya went out to buy vegetables at Prembaen market. They bought gudeg dish for our lunch. In the evening Rahutama bought nasi padang for our dinner. It was costly for this day's meals.

Argi came home from his camp. He had gone to Karangmalang Mijen for camping last Friday. His school managed it. Lanjutannya...
