Usual Day

It was the day twelveth, we were still together on having early breakfast. The menu was rice, fried tofu, steamed fish, papaya leaf stir fry and shrimp hot soup. I slept after having dawn prayer.

I went to the office by bus again. Nuri dropped me at a point cross to Karangayu bus stop. As usual when I was in the zebra cross in crossing  the street the vehicles were still moving. I had to be extra careful to be safe. I guessed the drivers had no driving ethics. At 08:00 a bus brought me to the office. In the office Mr. Zaenal was in but only for a while because at 10:00 he attended a meeting. Mr Niam and Sochis stopped by to confirm an invitation. I joined the zuhr and ashr prayers at the mosque.

Usual Day

It was the day eleventh. We had early breakfast at 03:15. I slept after having dawn prayer. At 08:00 Nuri dropped me at a point across the Karangayu bus stop. By a Trans Semarang bus I went to the office.

I was in the office from 08:45 to 15:30. I joined zuhr and then ashr prayers at the Salman Alfarisy. I finished minute of Pekalongan and Semarang. I went home by a Trans bus. I got off at Karangayu. Rahutama picked me home.

Being at Home

It was the day tenth. Our early breakfast was the same food as we had dinner, rice, eggplant soup and fried egg. I slept after praying.

I was at home the whole day. I finished the minute of Pekalongan meeting. At 16:30 I walked until Ada Supermarket area. Sunday is my time to walk. I bought nasi pecel for our dinner. I broke my fasting at 17:43.

Visiting Ratna

This morning at 10:00 I and Nuri came to Tlogorejo Hospital to visit Ratna. She has been hospitalized since 2 days ago. She got stroke so left part of her body could not be activated. In the hospital we met Dik Yu, Andra and Ninok. There were also her colleagues.

Going on a Bus

At 07:40 Nuri dropped me at a bus stop. Using a Trans Semarang bus I was ready at the office at 08:30. Going on a bus is the most convenient way to get to the office. I just get on a bus, sit and sleep then get off if I arrive at the office. The cost was Rp3.500, it was about US$0.40.

This morning Rahutama joined us to have early breakfast. He was going to be better. I slept after praying. In the office Mr. Zaenal was in. I made my files in order. I joined the Friday prayer at Salman Alfarisyi Mosque. At 13:00 I came to the OM Office to take meeting record dvd's. At 14:30 I left the office for home. I got off the bus at the bus stop close to Ada Supermarket. From that place I walked home.

Taraweeh

Taraweeh is a congregational prayer conducted by muslim in the evening during Ramadan season. This evening I joined taraweeh at Attaqwa Mosque. It was my first time in this season. The imam led us to pray in 23 rakaah.

It was the day seventh. We still had early breakfast, except Rahutama. He has been ill so he was absent from fasting. I went to the office at 08:05. At 09:30 the electric power was shut down. We could not no anything. At 10:00 I joined a meeting at OM Division Room. The meeting was chaired by Mr Zaenal. We dismissed at 13:00. At 14:00 I left the office.

Usual Day

This was the say sixth. We had early breakfast together. Rice and tofu soup were in the menu. Soup for early breakfast is good for us. I slept again after praying.

I went to the office at 08:00 and started officing at 08:40. Mr Zaenal was in. I worked on updating the address. I left the office at 15:30.

In the evening I washed the car. Maghrib time came just after I finished it.

Usual Day

Nuri told me she just visited Ratna at the Tlogorejo Hospital. She got light stroke. I walked till Balad Store area. Then, I cleaned the drain in front of my house. In the evening I and Nuri shopped at the Ada Supermarket.

Breaking Fasting in a Mosque

This was the day fourth. I broke my fasting at the Attaqwa Mosque. My primary mission was just to delive takjil money to the caretaker. However, they asked me to break the fasting together. So, I joined them. I got a pack of meal, it was big size for me but I finished it. Takjil is any kind of food serves to a fasting person in breaking his or her fasting. I joined also the maghrib praying.

At 03:00 I got up and joined Rahutama and Nuri having early breakfast. I was sleepy from the beginning so after having praying I slept again. At 08:00 I left home for the office. Mr Zaenal was in but soon he left Semarang for Jakarta. He wanted to deliver his paper to the office at Jakarta. I was there till 15:00. The day third, we still had early breakfast. Nuri served us with rice and tempe hot soup. As usual I consumed small amount of rice. This would control my body weight. I slept after dawn praying. Before noon I and Nuri went to Paragon Mall. I wanted to buy tissue for my laptop screen. Nuri bought fruit. The PLN power was off from the morning to the afternoon..

Being at Home

It was my day second but the day one for Nuri and Rahutama. We together had early breakfast at 03:15. The food was simple, rice, long bean sour soup and salty egg. I slept again after praying.

At 09:00 I went to Mr Clean Loundry to drop our clothes. At that place I met Ms Junita, my colleague during my last service as a civil servant. I cancelled to wash the car because the washing station closed. Ms Kuswari was home to chat with Nuri. I was home in the remaining time.

First Day Of Ramadan.

This was my first day of Ramadan. The Muhammadiyah group started Ramadan at this day however the government had announced that the first Ramadan would be the July 21st. Although I am not a Muhammadiyah scholar I choosed this day for the first day of Ramadan. I think the Muhammadiyah analysis is logical.

I got up at 03:00, had early breakfast, prayed and slept again. At 08:00 Nuri dropped me at a Trans Semarang bus stop. A bus then brought me to the office. Almost the whole office hour I was at Mr Niam's room to compose a report. However, I had nothing because the materials were given late. At 14:45 I went back home. I walked from the bus stop to home. This day I still underwent voluntary fasting. I got up at 03:00, had early breakfast, prayed and slept again. I went to the office at 08:00. I worked as usual but it slowly tempo. I went back at 16:20. The traffic was dense.

Plenary Meeting

This day was scheduled to be the plenary meeting of Jratunseluna Liaison Panel. I asked Rahutama to dropped me at Hotel Plaza where the meeting would be organized. Ms Juliana opened at 09:30 and chaired the meeting. The meeting was splendor. It participated by almost all of the members. They also contributed many ideas during the discussion. At 16:30 she closed it.

I got up at 04:30, prayed and prepared myself for a meeting. At 08:15 Rahutama left home for his campus. I was with him but my destination was Plaza Hotel.

Going to Pekalongan

At 06:30 I left home for Pekalongan. There would be a forum meeting organized at the town. Mr Zaenal was pleased me and Mr Hetomo to be with him in his car. We had our breakfast at a canteen in Batang. At 09:00 we arrived at the Dafam Hotel Pekalongan where the meeting would be organized.

At about 10:30 the Pemali Comal Liaison Panel plenary meeting was opened by Ms Juliana, the chairperson. It was late because the schedule was at 09:00. However, the meeting was about splendor. There was a long and hard discussion by Mr Zaenal and Ms Juliana The meeting run till 17:00. I arrived home at 21:00. Nuri was at home.

I woke up at 03:00 and prepared myself for a trip. At 05:30 I had been ready. However, I was out of home at 06:30.

Updating Bankbooks

This morning I woke up at 03:00. I was still sleepy since I went to bed at 00:20. After having early breakfast and dawn praying I slept again. I went to the office at 07:50 and arrived at the office at 08:00. It seemed that the traffic was dense.

I made preparation for plenary meeting tomorrow. I came to Mr Niam's room to discuss the preparation. After zuhr praying I went to the BCA, Jateng and BNI Banks to update my bank books. Because it was full I renewed the Jateng bank book. At 14:30 I was at the office again. I left the office at 16:15. I broke my fasting at about 17:40. Lanjutannya...

Going Back to Semarang

At 18:30 Sembrani Coachs left Pasirturi Station led for Tawang Semarang. Mbak Poppy and Nuri dropped me there at 18:20. The train was going flowing so at 23:03 it arrived at Tawang. It was 5 minutes late. Rahutama picked me up for home.

I got up at 05:00, prayed and slept again. After having breakfast I and Mas Andi went to Juanda Airport to get a ticket for Semarang. It costed Rp800.000 so I cancelled it. We went to Manna Tour to get train ticket. It costed Rp325.000.

At 11:00 I and Nuri joined a wedding party at Graha Sativa Bulog. It was organized by Mr Murdijanto (Ipong) to celebrate the marriage of his daughter Nabila Safitri and Agus Setiawan. Mbak Poppy was a committee member took role as a receptionist. Mrs Ipong is Nuri and Mbak Poppy's relative. We were there till 13:00.

There was an party invitation that I could not join. It was organized by Mr Setyoso Hardjowisastro at 18:30 at Grha Sabha Pramana Jogyakarta to celebrate the marriage of his son, Diwangkara which married to Pristin Salmiati. Mr Setyoso was my supervisor when I served at Cilacap Water Supply Project.

Going to Surabaya

This morning at 08:30 I went to Surabaya by Rajawali Coachs, business class. Rahutama dropped me there. Although the tagname was business class. It certainly did not show a high level cabin. This was about the business coachs. The capacity was 80, standard. The seat was plastics sheet covered, several windows had glass broken. The coach was fairly clean.

The train came to Surabaya Pasarturi on time. By taxi costed Rp55.000 I arrived to Mbak Poppy's house in Kutisari area at about 13:45. There was just Mbok at the house. She served me nasi rawon for lunch. I liked that food. About 45 minutes later Nuri, Mbak Poppy and Mas Andi came to the house. They were just from Pandaan. Surabaya was hot and humid, even in the evening mosquitos were huge.

This day I had a wedding party invitation that I could not join. It was a party organized by Mr Sumaji Hadiharyanto at Ranggawarsita Museum Building Semarang at 11:30 to celebrate the marriage of his daughter, Nur Tauzah which married to Firmansyah Nur Budiman. Mr Sumaji was my colleague when I served in Central Java Water Resources Management Departement.

NUri Going to Surabaya

I got up at 05:00, prayed and prepared myself for walking. I walked along Jalan BAsudewo and Jalan Bojongsalam. Nuri also got up early and prepared herself for going. At 08:00 she left home escorted by Rahutama. She would catch Rajawali Coachs leading to Surabaya. I left home at 08:10.

I stopped by my former office. I passed my hongbao for Sumaji's daughter to Ktut Sur. In the office I was alone because Mr Zaenal was going to Jakarta. I continued to write a report. Leaving Things In a Locked Cabinet

This afternoon I had to went back home late because I left the car key, gadgets etc in a cabinet that unintentionally locked. The problem arised when I closed a locked status cabinet in which I put the things. So, I had to wait for about 1,5 hour till a key specialist succeeded to open the cabinet. I asked Rahutama to see the specialist but a security personnel then could find such a man.

I got up at 03:00 to have early breakfast and as usual I slept again after praying. I left home at 08:00. In the office I continued to write concept on organization. Leaving Gadget at Home

On the way to the office I realized that I had no gadget with me. The Nokia and Blackberry handsets left at home. So, in the office I could not made communication.

I got up at 05:20, prayed and prepared myself for the office. At 07:50 I left home. In the office I joined a meeting again. Mr Agung chaired the meeting that participated by Mr Zaenal, Mr Astoto, Mr Niam, Mr Suroto, Mr Prayogo, Sochis n Prasetyo. It started at 10:00 and ended at 11:50. The meeting discussing the secretariat preparedness to organize a plenary meeting.

Mr Zaenal interviewed a candidate again, She was a civil engineer graduated from the UNDIP. She was more favorable than the previous one.

When I came home this afternoon. Nuri was seeing the skin doctor this afternoon. She erased spots on her face.

Usual Day

I got up at 05:00, prayed and got ready for walking. I traced Jalan Pamularsih, Jalan Puspawarno Barat, Jalan Sudirman and Jalan Puspawarno. I went to the office at 08:15 and directly led to Mr Niam's room for discussing. At 09:45 I came to my room. I prepared several documents as preparation for plenary meeting. I left the office at 16:45.

After maghrib time I and Nuri went to the Tawang Station to buy a ticket to Surabaya on Saturday. The executive seat was sold out so I bought the lower one, business seat. It costed Rp100.000.

Sample Food

I got up at 03:00 for having early breakfast. The menu was rice and meatball soup. I had isha prayer then I had the dawn one. I went to the office at 08:00. Nuri dropped me at the bus stop. The Trans Semarang got me at the office. It costed Rp3.500.

Mr Zaenal was in. We and Mr Niam went to Mr Pujo at the Ngesrep Timur area to delivered our condolence on the passing a way of his wife. At 16:10 I went back home. Again, I used the Trans Semarang. I got up at 05:10, prayed and slept again. At 06:30 I walked along Banjirkanal riverside. On the way home I bought steamed corn and steamed dried cassava. Yu Ti came home to help Nuri.

After maghrib time I went to the Gramedia Bookstore. There was a bookfair. I just bought a newspaper. I went home at 20:40.

Usual Day

It was Saturday, the day to be relaxed. I got up at 05:00, prayed and slept again. I got up again at 07:00, wiped and mopped the floor. Nuri bought me nasi pecel for my breakfast. I got up at 04:30 dan woke Nuri up. She prepared herself to go to Jogya. I prayed and walked. I walked just around home. Rahutama dropped Nuri at Ms Ramantika's house where her socials gathered. I went to the office at 08:00.

In the office I signed my June salary. I joined a secretariat meeting chaired by Mr Agung. Mr Zaenal, Mr Indra, Mr Astoto and Mr Iriandi joined the meeting. I told them the obligation of the Team. Today I was not fasting although I got up at 03:00 for having breakfast. I had only small amount of rice I though it was not enough. I cancelled my intention for fasting. Mbak Poppy Going Back

Mbah Poppy this morning at 03:30 went back to Surabaya by Argo Bromo Coachs. Rahutama and Nuri dropped her to the Tawang Station. Mbah Poppy was only a day at our home. She was being flu.

I got up again at 05:15 for praying then walking. I walked along the riverside of Banjirkanal (Jalan Basudewo and Jalan Bojongsalaman) from Kaligarang Bridge to Kaligarang Bridge. Usual Day

This morning I walked through Jalan Pamularsih, Jalan Puspawarno Barat, Jalan Sudirman and Jalan Puspawarno Raya. It was to replace the Sunday allocation. As usual I did not lose my dawn prayer. Nuri provided rice, steamed broccoli, fried tofu, and a banana for my lunch. The car tyre was flat so I had to fix it at Jalan Trilomba Joang. I spent an hour to replace and fix it.

Peni Going to Jakarta

I got up at 03:15 and had early breakfast. Peni got up at 04:00 and prepared herself for going. At 05:00 Rahutama escorted her going to the station. Peni would go to Jakarta by Argo Sindoro Coachs. I slept again at 05:15. I went to the office at 07:45.

In the office I joined a meeting with Mr Agung, Mr Zaenal, Mr Niam and Ms Ranti. I left the office at 16:20. I and Rahutama had dinner at Widodo Sate House.

Kenduri

Continuing the nyadran festival today we organizes kenduri gathering. Kenduri gathering is congragation prayer by people in the surrounding neighbourhood for the prosper of the host's ancestors . They recite several Quran verses and doas end the session. There were about 30 persons joined the session.

I got up at 05:00, prayed and slept again. Peni prepared nasi goreng for the breakfast and it was good. There was a celebration on the police office in front of our house. Today was the Indonesia Police Day. I, Rahutama and Lik Santo had our lunch at a mushroom resto in Kembangarum area.

This day I had 3 wedding party invitations that I could not join. The first was from Mr Widodo that organized a party at Wisma Batari Surakarta at 10:00 to celebrate the marriage of his daughter, Khoirunnisa Indah Kurniasih which married to Bentar Aji Prasetyo. The second was from Mr Achmad Sulchan that organized a party at Ranggawarsita Museum Building Semarang at 11:00 to celebrate the marriage of his son, Yustiar Sulchantifa Irmadi which married to Erna Wahningsih. The third was from Mr Arief Istamam that organized a party at Jeddah Building, Haj Transit Boarding House Semarang at 11:00 to celebrate the marriage of his daughter, Ira Siti Syarrah which married to Hasnan Ash Siddiqie. Mr Widodo was my colleague when I served in the Bengawan Solo Water Resources Management Office, Surakarta. Mr Sulchan and I shared members of the School Committee of the Semarang First State Secondary School. Mr Arief was my colleagues when I served at Central Java Water Supply Project

I and Rahutama went back to Semarang at 20:00 after Kenduri was over. Peni was with us. The traffic was congested at Secang so we took Grabag - Kopeng - Salatiga. We arrived at home at 22:30.
