Shopping in Ada Banyumanik

After zuhr time I accompanied Nuri and Anindya to seek batik in a batik stand close to Banyumanik Ada Supermarket. I did window shopping in the supermarket while they were in the stand. I had a porsion of pempek for my light lunch. After 1 hour they joined me to shop fruit, etc. At 14.00 we went home.

In the morning my condition was going better. I had my prayer in the middle of the time. I did gardening for a while. My breakfast was rice and pecel Nuri bought. I asked Haryono to join a gathering in Kebumen. It was a sort of planting ceremony that scheduled to be attended by the Governor. About 1 hour later he told me that the gathering was cancelled. Finishing the Writing

This morning my body was not good enough but I tried to get on time to do prayer and to finish my writing. The writing was then sent to Sugeng with a copy to Mr Guntoro and Haryono each. I felt relieved afterward. My breakfast was rice and vegetable in scrambled egg.

Meanwhile, Nuri accompanied Anindya to her office. This was her last day in the office so she wanted to make a farewell lunch. They brought the food to the office this morning.

I filled my day with activities as usual. I went to the office after Nuri was home. I just want to show up there so everyone knew that I was in. I met Hadi Pranoto to discuss about our heavy equipment. I also met Tyas, Retno and Ari. They had a business with the financial affair. At zuhr time I had my Friday Prayer in At Taqwa Mosque. At about 12.00 I left Kutoarjo to Semarang. My condition was still not good. I got cough. I stopped by SPBU Purworejo to get fuel. I filled 30 liter of Pertamax (RON92) into the tank. I had to pay Rp195.000. Again I stopped by Bu Atmo stand Magelang to have lunch. I just spent Rp5.000 for kidney bean soup, rice and fried tempe and tofu. At 15.45 I arrived home.

This morning I woke up on time to have my prayer. Although I was not good enough I did morning walking. I did not joint the rollcall in the office because I run out my batik. Tuesday is the day we have to wear batik. In the office I had to sign so many documents. It was the time to submit responsibility papers that would be delivered tomorrow.

Youth Day

This day was the Indonesia Youth Day. As directed by the office of Governor we organised a ceremony to commemorate the day. It began in October 28, 1928 when some young organisations representing etnics and religion groups in islands now known as Indonesia declared that they were unity in country, nation and language. The ceremony was also to give them our tribute. The ceremony was led by Hartono and I became the inspector.

This morning I woke up about 30 minutes before sunrise. I had my prayer and then I went out for morning walking. I bought pepaya fruit, Rp4.000, for my emergency breakfast. In the office I joined a ceremony and then sank in my desk to signed documents. At 10.00 I went to Bina Marga stand to have my late breakfast. Therefore I had no lunch. I welcome 2 guests. First, Wartono from the head office that wanted to monitor the OM form filling in a meeting. Going to Kutoarjo

At 12.10 I went to Kutoarjo alone. I drove my Avanza. I stopped by SPBU Gajahmungkur to pay my Citibank Mastercard, Rp600.000. The traffic was so dense. So I arrived Kutoarjo at 15.40 about 15 minutes delayed as usual. On the way to Kutoarjo Mr Syamsudin sent me a message that Herry Setyobudi was passaway at 10.30 this morning in Semarang. He was attending a meeting in the Office of Jawa Tengah Governor. Herry Setyobudi was a section chief in Serayu Opak River Basins Management Office (Balai Besar Wilayah Sungai Serayu Opak).

I woke up on time to have my dawn prayer and then I slept again. My breakfast was rice and fried corn in egg scrambled (bakwan jagung). Lik Him dropped us to Gambir Station. We got Argo Muria ticket. In a hurry we cought train. Train then departed. At23.30 we arrived Tawang. It was late for 1 hour. BAgus and Rahutama picked us up. At about 24.00 we got home.

At 06.00 we left the house. We were in Metro Mini #62 leaving for Manggarai. Anindya got off at Bus Station. I continued to Manggarai Railway Station using Metro Mini #61. I got Rp1.000 ticket for an economy class seat. The coachs were always full so I postponed my plan. I changed to Rp5.000 ticket for an economi AC class seat. The coachs departed 07.15. It was full, to so I got no seat. I arrived Kota at 07.40. I had breakfast at AW Restaurant. I spent Rp28.000 for a burger and a glass of rootbeer.

I got in the BNI office but then left again because I thought Anindya's business would not finish soon. I walked to Grogol to see the place once was the Embassy of the People Republic of China. Then I caught a Busway bus for Blok M. I spent my time in Gramedia for about 2 hour browsing in an internet room and watching books. At 14.00 I met Anindya at Dukuh Atas Stop. Tracing Busway Routes

This day I and Anindya traced the best route to get Kota from Manggarai. The route could be used by Anindya everyday to get her to her training place. We left Lik Him's house at 06.05. We used a Metro Mini #62 that dropped us to Manggarai Bus Stop. After getting tickets Rp4.000 for 2 person we got in a Busway Corridor 4 to arrive Dukuh Atas Bus Stop. It was long walk to get to a Busway Corridor 1. It brought us to Kota Bus Stop. It locates in front of Kota Railway Station. It was 07.00. Walking for 10 minutes we arrive BNI Office at Jalan Lada. For going back using the same track we had to spend Rp7.000 for 2 person. Almost more 2 time costly because the time was after 07.00.

I woke up on time to have my dawn prayer. After preparing everything I and Anindya was on tracing bushway routes, Manggarai - Dukuh Atas - Kota - Dukuh Atas - Manggarai. I had my breakfast at AW Stand in Kota Railway Station. We joined Mbak Poppy and Maman the Driver at Pasaraya Manggarai.

Almost all day we shopped at Metro Pasarbaru and Ambassador Mall where we had lunch and I did my zuhr and ashr prayers. At 16.00 I was dropped at Lik Him's house and the rest continued to shop in Semanggi Plaza.

Going to Jakarta

This day I accompanied Anindya going to Jakarta. Nuri brought us to Tawang Station where Argo Bromo Anggrek Coachs would bring us to Jakarta. We left Semarang on schedule at 12.41. We have coach number 4 seat number 10C and 10D. The train arrived Gambir at 18.40. It was 3 minute late. Mbak Poppy and Maman picked us up.

I woke up on time almost late but I still had my prayer. I and Anindya was preparing everything for Jakarta. We left home at 12.00. We arrived Lik Him's house where we had overnight at 22.00. Housekeeping

I filled my day with housekeeping. In the morning when everybody was out of the house I wiped the floor and then cleaned it. I was so satisfied with what I did.

This day as usual I woke up on time to do prayer. In the morning everyone was out. Anindya was officing. Rahutama went to Tembalang to do his exercise. Nuri went to shop in the market. My breakfast was nasi pecel. Almost midday I took money Rp1.000.000 from BCA ATM Pemuda. I paid my indonet invoice Rp23.000 from the same place. Rest at Home

I was at home all day long. It was my first day rest. The temperature was quite hot so I in much time confined myself in the bedroom with the AC on. Nuri provided me fried tofu for my breakfast, megono rice for lunch and soup for dinner.

Preparing for Rest

I was in the office for a half workday. I did not joined the rollcall because I did not felt well. I gave a briefing to the subordinates concerning my plan to have rest for 2 days. I also asked the treasurer if there would be something to be done. At home I emptied every food stake. After welcoming Mr Mudjojono, Mr Agung Suseno and Ayodya I left the office.

I woke up on time this morning. After doing prayer I was still at home. I did not want to exhaust my energy by doing morning walking. What doctor had told last night were annoying me. After officing I went home. Acep as usual accompanied me. We stopped by SPBU Glagah to see toilet and Tahu Pojok Magelang to have lunch. We arrived Semarang at 14.45. I was in Semarang to get rest.

In the evening 22.00 I watched television Mr Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono announced his cabinet members. They were Bambang Suyanto as Coordinating Minister of Politics, Law and Security, Hatta Rajasa as Coordinating Minister of Economics and Agung Laksono as Coordinating Minister of People Prospherity, Gamawan Fauzi as Minister of Internal Affairs, Marty Martalegawa as Minister of Foreign Affairs, Purnomo Yogiantoro as Minister of Defence, Mr Djoko Kirmanto as Minister of Public Works, etc.

The New President

Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Boediono this day were inaugurated as president and vice president of the Republic of Indonesia for a 2009-2014 period. They had been voted by about 60% of the people prevailing over other candidates, Megawati - Prabowo and Jusuf Kalla - Wiranto. Susilo was the incumbent. He and Jusuf Kalla were the former president and vice president, respectively.

This morning I woke up on time. After doing the morning walking I had my breakfast. It was a megana rice I brought from Semarang. It was good. In the office I did not join the rollcall. My status was on duty so I came late. I joined general meeting organised every month when every employee might tell anything. The meeting was closed with a cordial meal.

This day I did not feel good. I got headache, itchy throat and sneeze. In the evening I saw doctor Iwan Santoso in Palang Biru Hospital. My blood pressure was 150/110. He gave me Cefadroxil 500mg 6 capsules for 2 capsules per day, Anadex 10 caplets for 3 caplets per day and Farbion 6 pills for 2 pills per day. Central Java Water Resources Council

Central Java Water Resources Council had established at the end of the last year. It consists of people from different professions bounded by their interests in water resources. They are expected to issue policy in water resources management in Central Java. Today they were inaugurated by the Governor. They, then, organised their first meeting. I, and also my colleagues, joined this meeting just to support them.

This morning I woke up on time. I slept again after doing prayer. My breakfast was rice, soy souce and fried tofu. At 08.00 I come to Bank Mandiri Pandanaran to renew my ATM card. The clerk said my card would be ready at about 2 weeks. I then came to Prima Lestari to bind some separate matters to be a book. Acep came home at 09.30. He dropped me at Dinas office. I made a brief meeting with Mr Mudjijono about water resources conservation in Kalitekek. I joined to the council meeting till 15.00. It was a hard day. I felt exhausted.

I and Acep left Semarang to Kutoarjo at 17.00. We stopped by Prima Lestari to take the book. The second stopping by was at SPBU Gajahmungkur to fuel. Eid Gathering Again

This morning to mid day I had been in an eid gathering again in the office of Jawa Tengah Electric Power Authority, Jatingaleh Semarang. The event was Jawa Tengah ITB Alumni Eid Gathering. I, Nuri and Anindya came to the place at 10.00. The participating alumni were Feri Krisna, Nugroho, Prof Sugiyono, Mr Suwarno Serad, Mr Antono Mardi, Mr Sukarno SJ, Hidayat Mulyono, Pranoto SA, Franz Oloan SM Simanjuntak, Idrus, Mauladi Widodo, etc.

After being back I, Nuri and Anindya went to Java Mall. We needed to buy a blazzer for Anindya. We were there till 17.00 so went we arrived home I just lost my ashar time. Neighborhood Meeting

At about 20.00 I went to Bowo's house to join a neighborhood meeting. Only few of the member came to the house. Mr Sumar and Mr Sudiono were absent. The meeting was chaired by Mr Djarwono, the chairman of neighborhood society. We talked about an aid to make our environment tidy. He said a proposal has to be submitted to the board of development of our kelurahan.

This morning I accompanied Anindya to apply some letters of clarIfication. First we went to the office of religion affairs to get a clarification of unmarried. It closed. We then when to the office of tax affairs. It closed also. In Saturday almost all of government offices in Semarang closed. In the afternoon I did gardening for about 1 hour. Exercise

After doing rollcall this morning we, the management and employees, had exercise. This was the first time we had since the time reaching for Ramadhan fasting. Two gymnasts were asked to direct us . The session was participated by only about 20 people. The rest might not be aware. I felt my body being well after finishing it.

This morning I woke up on time to do praying. I was still at home watching television NGC and being relaxed for a while. After doing exercise at the office I accompanied by Acep went to Bina Marga canteen to had my breakfast. I also chaired a meeting in the office discussing managing Wadaslintang irrigation. After Friday worshipping I and Haryono made an inspection to groin work in Desa Gebang. I and Acep then went to Semarang. We stopped by Bu Atmo stand to have lunch. At maghrib time we arrived home. Inspection to Sempor

This day I made an inspection to the maintenance work of West Sempor Primary Channel which was being conducted by CV Maharani, Karanganyar. I was accompanied by Haryono and Acep. We, as asked previously, met Adi Suwarno and Suwardi at the site office. They were regional and site inspector, respectively. The office was silly. There was no document I needed. The time schedule could not be used to control the work. The daily and weekly reports were not provided. Even we could not attached drawings on the wall. The site manager was not in. I thought this contractor was not a qualified one. The inspectors had been frequently warning them but it did not work.

This morning I woke up on time. After doing prayer I did morning walking. In the market I bought a papaya. The papaya was so sweet and fresh and became a part of my breakfast. In the office I joined the rollcall. Ktut was absent. He was in Semarang on duty. At 09.30 I went to Sempor to make an inspection. At 15.30 I was arrived the office again. Bitter Cucumber Dish

Bitter cucumber dish was my favorite. In the evening I made it. The main material was fresh bitter cucumber I bougth this morning. The spices were provided by Tyas on my asking. There were shallot, garlic, chilli pepper, tomato, salam leaf, pungent ginger (laos), dried shrimp (ebi), dried overfermented soy bean (tempe lanas), salt and coco sugar (gula kelapa). It was a kind of stirred fried dish. I called it oseng. It was delicious.

In the morning I woke up earlier than yesterday. I felt good. It might be caused by a long sleep I had. After praying I did morning walking. At the market I bought broccoli dan bitter cucumber. The cucumber was big and seemed fresh and attractive. My breakfast was red rice I prepared yesterday afternoon.

In the office I joined the rollcall. All fourth echelon officials were in. Haryono then went to Jogjakarta to join PBME meeting. Morning Walking Again

After being halted for couple weeks I did morning walking again. So after doing my dawn praying I prepared for walking. The sky was clear. My destination was as usual, the market juction. I bought broccoli for my meal.

In the office I joined the rollcall. All fourth echelon officials were in. However, Sukadi dan Haryono then were going out. Sukadi left for Jogja and Haryono went to Temanggung. I asked Sukadi to pass through Magelang to put my car there for AC fixing. Acep Sugiarto were being with him, of course. I was home at 15.00 to have some rest. Since 4 days ago I had been suffering from scurvy so I decided to have afternoon sleep. The sleep was good so I felt healthy after waking up.

Meeting in Jogja

I left Kutoarjo at 07.40 in the morning for Jogjakarta. As usual Acep accompanied me. I felt hot and humid as the car air conditioner was out of order. I arrived Balai Besar WS Serayu Opak at 09.30. I was late because it started at 09.15 although scheduled 09.00. I joined the meeting that was chaired by Mr Bambang Hargono. The meeting members were consultants from Worldbank (Mr Ramu and Ms Irama), officials from DGWRD (Mr Edi Djaja and Mr Ananta Bambang) officials from BBWSSO (Mr Bambang Hargono, Mr Syamsudin and Mr Suseno) and officials from BPSDA Sercit (Mr Purwadi) and BPSDA Jogja (Mr Pramono). It was a fact finding meeting organised by Worldbank in order to expand WISMP-2. It concluded at 12.30.

This morning I missed my dawn prayer. I prepared my day as early as possible. At 06.45 I met Sukadi to discuss Procedure on Flood Awareness. After having matters form Haryono I went to Jogjakarta accompanied by Acep. On going home I took Jogja - Borobudur route. I wanted to have lunch in a vegetarian stand but I could not find it. Attending Gatherings

This day I had to come to 2 gathering. The first was an eid gathering in Bud Rahardjo's house, Banyumanik and the second was wedding party organised by Mr Subagiyo Loekito in the multipurpose building inside Police Academy complex. In the first I met Bud Raharjo, Suwignyo, Priyo Harjuno, Watoyo, Eddi Triwidodo, Widodo, etc. I was in for 30 minutes before I went to the second. In the second I met Mr Suhartono, Mr Soekarno, Naro Handoko, etc.

I woke up about 06.00 so I missed my dawn prayer. I prepared myself for attending gathering. Nuri would not go because she was not in a good condition. At 10.00 Rahutama drove me to be in the gatherings. At about 12.30 I was home again. The day was so hot. I drank much tea or just plane water. On waiting for maghrib I did gardening.

After maghrib time Acep came. He said that the traffic was dense. At 06.40 we left Semarang for Kutoarjo. As usual we stopped by Citra Bundo Candi for having dinner. Acep drove the car quickly. Doing Housekeeping

This day I did housekeeping. The reason was my clothes had been piling up, so I thought it was the time to wash them up. About 2 hours in the morning I operated our washing machine. On waiting for it I did degrassing on the backyard because I saw the backyard was so massy. I then cleaned it up. Before mid day I finished my loundry. However, in the afternoon I had to clean the front ditch. The water was producing stinky air so I diluted it with sprayed tap water. The ditch then was fresh again.

I woke up on time to do praying. I filled the morning with housekeeping. Nuri provided breakfast lately. In the afternoon it was so hot and humid. I kept myself in the bedroom chilled by AC. Parmin to Haj Pilgrimate

This morning Parmin organised farewell gathering following his will to go haj pilgrimate this year. Management and employees (and their wives joining in Dharma Wanita) were invited to gather to the operation room. He also invited his colleagues from the Water Management Agency of Kabupaten Government of Purworejo. Parmin and his wife was scheduled to leave Solo for Jedah at November 15, 2009.

I woke up at 04.50 for doing my prayer. I made a call to Anindya and Rahutama to wake up. Nuri provided breakfast for me. At 09.30 I joined Parmin's gathering. I did my Friday prayer in Al Arif Mosque. I and Nuri left Kutoarjo at 14.00. We stopped by Adi's house to see the family. The family was complete. We then stopped by Bu Atmo stand to have late lunch. Going to Kutoarjo

This morning I woke up little bit late but the dawn prayer was still mine. At 06.00 I and Nuri left Semarang for Kutoarjo. We stopped by Condongraos stand to have breakfast. At 10.15 we arrived Kutoarjo.

I missed a meeting in the office to clarify the final report of LPPSP because the meeting started at 09.00. However, I had asked Haryono to chair the meeting and told to LPPSP what I wanted. In the office I processed bunch of letters. After officing for a while I and most of the employees went to Harjobinangun Grabag to join Wiwit's Wedding Party. She is an employee of the office. This day she married to Munfarid.

In the evening I and Nuri came to Putri Store Purworejo to get a souvenir for Mrs Parmin. Parmin and his wife would go to Mecca for a haj pilgrimage. We also bought martabak (Indonesian style omelet) for our dinner. Lanjutannya...

Monthly Meeting

his was the meeting to evaluate the implementation of our program based on the progress of September. Mr Suryono and almost all of the third echelon attended this event. Mr Prasetyo and Mr Purwadi were absent. Mr Prasetyo was in Netherlands to attend a meeting while Mr Purwadi was in Cilacap to accompany a contest committee. The monthly meeting was chaired by Mr Guntoro. Mr Suryono reminded us to Governor Bibit Waluyo's direction to define intermediate benefit (sasaran antara) and explore extended duty (tugas yang dicari). After concluding the meeting the third echelon organised a limited meeting to discuss non technical matters.

I woke up at 06.00 so dawn prayer did not belong to me. I had oatmeal porridge for my breakfast. At 09.00 Nuri dropped me at Dinas office where I joined the monthly meeting. At 13.30 Rahutama picked me home. About ashr time Abdul Chalim, Widodo and Priyo Harjuno came by home. They distributed an invitation to join an eid gathering in Banyumanik. The gathering was for former employees of CJ Water Supply Project . In the evening I and Nuri went to Kariadi Hospital to visit Mbak Yet. She was undergoing a chemotherapy session. We then joined Mbak Poppy, her colleague (Ana), Anindya and Bagus in Bentuman Bringin to have dinner. We then came to the hospital again to pick Mbak Yet up. We accompanied her to her house. Medical Examination

This day Anindya had to perform her health. She underwent a medical examination in Pramita Clinical Laboratory, Jalan Matraman 26 Jakarta. I and Lik Him escorted her to the place. It was crowded because the other applicants did at the same time. They are about 100 people. We left Lik Him's house at 06.30 and about 12.30 we left the lab.

I woke up at 04.40 and did prayer. I and Lik Him had our breakfast nut Anindya did not because she would undergo a medica examination in Pramita Laboratory. After finished with the examination we came to Gambir Station to get a ticket for Semarang. After lunch at the house Lik Him drove us to the station. Accompanying Anindya

This day Anindya had to present in an interview. I , Lik Him and Bulik Metty accompanied her to the place she had, Jalan Mataram No 59 Kebayoran Baru. According to the information I got from internet it was BNI Assessment Center. We arrived there at 14.20 and the scheduled time for her was 15.00. We waited while she was being in undergoing the interview. At 17.15 she showed up.

I woke up at 04.50 and did prayer. We had our breakfast provided by the hotel in the dining room. At 09.30 I and Anindya went to Pasaraya Sarinah by taxi. The store would be opened at 10.00 so we waited for a while. I bought a long sleeves shirt a pair of sandal. At 11.30 we had meat ball soup (bakso), rotiboy bun and black coffee in the food court. When were back to the hotel Lik Him and Bulik Metty were waiting for us in the hotel lounge. We checked out and directly to the BNI-AC. In late afternoon we were back to Lik Him's house. Going to Jakarta

In the afternoon 15.15 I and Anindya left home to the station. Rahutama and his friend accompanied us. We stopped by Brumbungan because Anindya wanted to pick up her talk. We arrived the station and directly embarked. At 16.05 the Argo Muria coach brought us to Jakarta. We arrived Gambir Station at 22.40. It was 45 minutes late. Mbak Poppy and Maman picked us up. They brought us to Losari Hotel, Blok M.

This day I missed my dawn prayer. The laziness belonged to me so I woke up late although the handset had rung me. In the morning I and Anindya went out to buy food for gift. I came to Citra Mall to print pictures. Lanjutannya...

Preparing for Jakarta

I and Anindya would go to Jakarta tomorrow so everything had to be ready. About mid day I, Nuri and Anindya went to Tawang Railway Station to pick up a ticket for Jakarta. We did not directly go there but stopped by 2 places. First, Rizky Salon where I cut my hair. Second, Kariadi Hospital where Nuri made a reservation for Mbak Yet. In Tawang Ticketing Service I picked a ticket up for me and Anindya. The ticket were Rp600.000.

Anindya would participate to an employee recruitment examination managed by BNI Bank tomorrow. She had passed the preliminary examination managed in Semarang. The examination was English and Psychological. The advanced examination would be Interview and Medical.

This morning I woke up on time to have dawn prayer. Then two dailies (Kompas and Suara Merdeka) were read. After breakfast I put the computer on to access internet. Meanwhile Anindya went to a dentist in Pandanaran Public Health Center (Puskesmas). In the night I, Nuri and Anindya visited a computer exhibition in Java Mall. Forgiveness Gathering

Forgiveness Gathering (Halalbihalal) is an Indonesian traditional gathering (although using Arabic terms) following the Eid Festival. The event is organised to gather people from a specific community to celebrate Eid Festival and to share forgiveness. This day I and Nuri were at Dinas office to attend the event. Ktut, Haryono, Sukadi and their wives joined it. Djoko Wasono, Parmin, Bambang Suranto and Adi Suwarno also joined it. The event was attended by about 300 people. We were employees and management of the Dinas (Agency of Central Java Water Resources Management). The management was with their wives. We shook our hands to share our forgiveness. We enjoyed the food provided. I woke up late so dawn prayer did not belong to me. Before 08.00 I and Nuri went to Dinas till 11.00. I did Friday Prayer at At Taqwa Mosque close to home. Lunch on Ketawang Beach

Ketawang is a beach of the south of Purworejo. The local government designates it as one of their points of interest. This day I and some ordinates (Ketut, Haryono, Sukadi, Parmin, Mardani, Tumiran, Djumadi, Tyas, Wiwik, Tasinah, Ary, Yulianti, Retno, etc) had lunch there to celebrate the retirement of Sardi and Sulam. Since this day they were retired men. We had dorang barbeque, crab in red gravy, fried shrimp and blacan kangkung stir fry. They all were delicious. The Yu Yem stand prepared them.

I started my day with dawn prayer. In the office I joined a ceremony to commemorate the still standing of Pancasila, our country's basic principles. As usual my role was the inspector. Rochadi was the commander. I had my breakfast at Bina Marga stand. At 11.00 I, Ktut and Acep were leaving for Ketawang Beach. After having lunch we went to Semarang. I planned to buy kidney soup in Magelang but I failed. The stand closed. We continued riding and finally arrived home at 16.15. On waiting for maghrib I did gardening. In the evening I and Nuri walked to Alfamart counter to buy tabloid and red rice.

The tv stations broadcasted that the death toll of West Sumatra quake was about 500. The President came to Padang soon after he arrived from USA to support the victims. Lanjutannya...
