Going Back to Semarang

It is Friday. Sweet Friday (Jumat Legi). At about 00:15 we arrived at the office. Gias got there. I and Bambang continued to the house. At 00:30 we arrived there.

I had breakfast at Warung Tegal Satuhati at about 09:30. Then, I went back to the guesthouse and put my clothes in the laundry shop. At 10:15 I arrived at the office. Benny came after Friday Prayer.

At 15:30 I left the office for Kampung Rambutan Terminal. I would go back to Semarang. I got a Nusantara bus tiket at Rp190.000. My bus would be NS27 and the seat would be 12. It was an executive class.

At 17:05 the bus departed for Semarang. At 19:35 we stopped by at Tamansari Resto Rest Area 102A for dining and praying. The bus left the rest area at 20:10. Lanjutannya...

Meeting

It is Thursday. Loving Thursday (Kamis Kliwon). I got up at 05:32 local time. At 06:30 I had breakfast at the food room. The hotel provided various dishes and drinks. I liked this service. At 07:00 Benny joined me in the room. We reported him the last night meeting.

At 09:15 I checked out. The room tariff was Rp879.670. I, Benny, Bambang, Haryanto, and Gias in a car went to Sulawesi I Riverbasins Management Office for joining a meeting.

The office located about 1km away from the hotel. We waited for other attendants for about 45 minutes. They were accompanying a former Highway Director General (Mr. Arie Setiadi) visiting the project site, Menado Bitung Toll Road.

At about 10:30 the meeting started. It was chaired by the chief of the office, Mochammad Silachoedin. The meeting was merely Mr. Arie's direction to treat a spring close to the project. Local people was disagreeing having a project close to the road. They wanted to relocate the road alignment. Hariyanto presented our plan. He insisted that the project would not affect the spring. An expert from Sam Ratulangi University also presented his finding and idea. He supported Hariyanto's analysis. The toll road president director (George Manurung) stated the alignment was fixed, it could not be relocated because it connected to other structures had been built. The contractor, the management project consultant, and other attendants also told their findings before Mr. Arie gave his direction. This first part meeting stopped at about 13:00. We then had lunch in King Oci Resto.

The resto was a seafood resto. Manado styled dishes were provided. I enjoyed grilled oci, waku snapper, and a vegetable dish.

Some of us then went back to the office to continue with the second part of the meeting. It was attended by the recommendation unit, the toll road company, the contractor, and the consultant. It discussed the technical recommendation process. An SOP named as SE Dirjen SDA 12A/SE/D/2016 had to be referred. At about 16:30 the meeting concluded.

We, the consultant team stopped by at a masjid nearby on the way to the airport. We had about 40 minutes for praying before maghrib time. The masjid was in a shopping spot area. It was clean and nice.

At maghrib time we arrived at Sam Ratulangi Airport. We prayed in a musala. About an hour later we cheched in. Our flight was Batik ID 6275 scheduled to be boarding at 19:50. I would be seat 8C. At about 21:00 (local time) we took off. At 22:45 we landed at Soekarno-Hatta Airport. I waited for Bambang for about 30 minutes because he was wheelchaired. Going to Manado

It is Wednesday. Black Wednesday (Rabu Wage). I was in the office in a ready to go condition. I printed an A1 size geological map for supporting data. I asked Fahmi to buy me a nasi bungkus for my breakfast.

At 12:30 I, Bambang, and Gias went to Soekarno Hatta Airport. We would go to Manado for a meeting. We arrived Terminal 2E at 13:30. We then checked in. My plan was Batik ID6272. I would be on seat 20B. A wheel chair was ordered for Bambang. In waiting room E4 we met Hariyanto. He would assist us presenting matters in the meeting. At 15:00 as being scheduled we boarded. At 16:10 the plane, an A320, took off.

The plan was smooth. At 19:50 local time landed at Sam Ratulangi Airport of Manado. About a half hour later we were on a car going to the office of PT Jasamarga Manado Bitung, a toll road company. A meeting was set attended by the president director (George Manurung), the engineering director (Bambang Saptadi), a PT PP officer (Anang), and their adviser. We united our idea on facing the meeting would be attended tomorrow in the Sulawesi I Riverbasins Management Office. About an hour later the meeting concluded.

We went to a seafood resto named Kampoeng Ikan. I enjoyed a marlin woku dish. It was litlle bit salty but overall it was ok.

At 23:00 we checked in at Hotel Novotel. The management provided 2 rooms for us. I opened a room more for Hariyanto because his accomodation was not provided by the toll company. I was in 1210, Bambang and Gias were at room 1206, and Hariyanto was at room 1212. Lanjutannya...

Gathering

It is Tuesday. Yellow Tuesday (Selasa Pon). I arrived at the office at 10:00. Priyonggo was in. At 10:15 I left the office for Kampung Rambutan Terminal by a Gojek bike. I would join a gathering at Nuryati's house on Jalan Cisanggiri II.

At 10:45 Bus line 7B brought me there. I found several traffic jams. So, at Kebayoran I got off and changed to a Gojek bike. At 12:10 I arrived at the venue. At the same time Widati, Dwi Sulistyanto and wife also arrived.

In the house there some of my secondary school mates. They were Asiwardi Gandhi & wife, Cendy, Dwikartika Rinie, Dyah Kusnaniah & husband, Hesti Retnaningsih, Indah Kentjono, Nuritawati & husband, Oscar Harimawan, Roosmariani, Sri Rumini, Suharyanto & wife, Sutono, Unandari & husband, Widarto & wife, Widati, Wijayanto, and Wijaya Seta. There were also my high school mates: Arijani, Dwihati, Dwi Wuryani, Endianto, Kanti, and Risnawati. A moment later Hadiwibowo & wife along with their daughter and grandchild came to join. As usual gathering means socializing, eating, singing, and dancing. We did all and had good time. Nuryati had provided nice place for socializing, good dishes for eating, an excellent player to encourage us for singing, and spacious room for dancing. At 15:00 we dismissed. Widarto gave a ride till Jalan Gatot Subroto. A busway then brought me to Tamini Square stop. A Gojek bike then brought me to the office. Benny, Priyonggo, and Gugun was in. Going to Jakarta

It is Monday. Red Monday (Senin Pahing). In the morning at 03:00 I got up then grabbed my laptop. I made comment on draft of minutes composed by Rustiani wrapping a meeting in Samarinda. Then I made comment on draft of a letter made by Priyonggo responding a letter from PT Wika. At 06:30 I ironed clothes I had washed yesterday.

Nuri made soup for our meal. I wanted to eat mangut dish but I had no time. At 11:00 we went out. Nuri dropped me at a barbershop, she continued to go to Dastan's kindergarten. She would picked him up and dropped him at his house. After I trimmed my hair Nuri picked me up. We went to a pharmacy to buy omega3 oil.

At 15:15 we left home for the station just after a Gojek bike delivered 2 boxes of lumpia. I got off at Tawang Station, I would go to Jakarta. My train was Argo Muria scheduled to depart at 16:00. I was on board, coach 7 seat 11A.

The train departed on time. It was still on time when we reached Cirebon Kejaksan.

At 21:50 I got off at Jatinegara Station. By a busway bus I reached Kampung Melayu. Another bus brought me to Kampung Rambutan. Then, a Gojek bike brought me to the office. I put lunpia there. Going to Surakarta

It is Sunday. Sweet Sunday (Ahad Legi). At 07:15 I, Nuri, and Rahutama left home for Surakarta. Rahutama would go to Singaraja by plane from Adisumarmo Airport of Surakarta. We stopped by at Virgin Bakery to buy some snacks. We then stopped by at Anindya's house to pick up Anindya, Dastan, and Aishalina. At 08:00 we departed for Surakarta.

We as usual used the toll road entering at Manyaran Entrance. We exited at Bawen Exit. We went to Lawuh Desa Resto for having breakfast but it closed. So, we entered toll road again at Tingkir Entrance and exited at Karasura Gate. We stopped at Bolon for fueling. At about 10:30 we stopped by at Tamansari Resto for breakfast.

We dropped Rahutama at the airport at 11:00. His plane, AirAsia would depart at 11:50. We then went to Pusat Grosir Solo. Nuri got off there for shopping. I, Anindya, Dastan, and Aisha went to Park Mall, Grogol Sukoharjo. Lanjutannya...

Lunch Out

It is Saturday. It was the first day of the Chinese Year. At 11:30 I, Nuri, and Rahutama went to Paragon Mall to meet Anindya and her kids. I wanted to have lunch together. We met them in the kid playing ground. It was crowded but the kids seemed happy. At about 12:30 we came to Raa Cha Resto for having lunch. I, Nuri, Anindya, and Rahutama enjoyed the dishes but Dastan and Aisha had no appetize to eat. Nuri bought fried potatoes for them. They were so nice. At about 14:30 we went back to Anindya's house.

She just dropped Aisha in the house. She was sleeping. I, Nuri, Anindya, Rahutama, and Dastan then went to Hortimart, Bawen. We arrived there at about 15:30. It was still cloudy. We enjoyed a durian there. We bought it at Rp250.000 since its weight was 2,5kg. They told the durian came from their durian tree named Permadi. The fruit was special. It was tasty and sweet. It is Friday. Black Friday (Jumat Wage). At 00:30 the bus reached Manyaran Exit. I got off at Kalibanteng junction. A Gojek bike brought me home. I reached home at 00:48. I slept after browsing the net.

Nuri went out to settle some matters. I did my Jumat Prayer at Masjid Attaqwa. When I came back home I found Dastan was at home.

At 13:00 I joined gathering at De Lodeh Resto. Rahutama and Dastan accompanied me there but then they left for home after shaking hands to the attendants. It is Thursday. Yellow Thursday (Kamis Pon). At 09:30 I had breakfast at Warung Tegal Satuhati. At about 10:00 I arrived at the office. Gugun was in, just about going to the airport.

At 13:00 I went back to the guesthouse.

At 15:25 I went to Kampung Rambutan Terminal by Gojek bike. I would go back to Semarang. I booked Nusantara Bus super executive class. I got NS4 seat 3B at Ro260000.

It is Wednesday. Red Wednesday (Rabu Pahing). At 07:30 I walked along housing perimeter. It was more than 1km. Before being back to the house I had breakfast at Warung Tegal Satuhati and then took clothes from the laundry shop.

At 09:30 I went to the office. Bambang gave me a ride. He ordered a Grabcar to bring us (me, Bambang, and Syakban). I found Gugun was in. Benny and Priyonggo came later. I worked on analyzing flow through underneath barriers in the superelevation zone.

Being in the Office

It is Tuesday. Sweet Tuesday (Selasa Legi). At 01:30 the bus stopped by at Pulogebang Terminal. Some passangers got off. The the bus continued going. It was heavy raining. I was so worried that Kampung Rambutan Terminal had the same condition. At 01:45 I got off there. It was showering. I walked quickly to the intercity bus section for getting shelter. Then I ordered a Gojek car. I had to moved to the point close to the police post because the car did not want to take a passanger at a black taxi region. At 02:15 I arrived at the guesthouse.

At 09:00 I bought multivitamin in Cipayung Pharmacy. 09:30 I had breakfast at Warung Tegal Satuhati. At 10:00 I arrived at the office. Priyonggo and Benny arrived later. Going to Jakarta

It is Monday. Loving Monday (Senin Kliwon). In the morning I joined Qigong session in the temple hall. The participants were 8 people. We practiced pengqi guanding, chenqi, shou-la, and sanxin zhuang. Before dismissing Melani distributed t-shirts. I and Nuri were given a piece each. The shirts were compliment of Meixia.

At 10:00 I and Nuri arrived in Citra Rasa Resto. We intended to join monthly gathering of PABJT employees' wives. Bharoto & wife, Supriyanto & wife, Mrs. Widodo, Mrs. Marsaulina, Mrs. Surjadi, and Mrs. Arus joined the gathering.

At 19:15 Nuri dropped me at the Nusantara Bus pool. I would go to Jakarta. My bus was a super executive class one. It was NS-04 and I would be on seat 4B. At 19:30 the bus departed for Jakarta. Marriage Anniversary

It is Sunday. Black Sunday (Ahad Wage). At about 10:00 I, Nuri, Anindya, Dastan, and Aisha left home for Salatiga. We would go for having lunch there. We entered toll road at Jatingaleh Entrance and exited at Bawen Exit. We arrived at Manna Resto at 10:55. The resto would open at 11:00.

We celebrated our anniversary here. It was our 35th anniversary. We tried some dishes and we found they were good. We also enjoyed the cozy place. It was small but well arranged space. I spent Rp274.000. We made some pictures of us. At about 14:00 we went back home.

After ashr praying I went to Bimasakti car wash to clean the car. Unfortunately, it closed. I then went to Nusantara Bus pool to buy a ticket. I got a super executive class one at Rp260.000.

It is Saturday. Yellow Saturday (Sabtu Pon). At 0:00 the bus reached Tegalkangkung Toll Gate of Semarang. I got off at Kalibanteng Interchange. A gojek bike got me at home at 00:22. At about 01:30 I slept.

At 05:00 I got up dan prayed. I then slept again till 07:30. I ironed my clothes had been washed several days ago. At 10:50 I sent a bundled of documents to Edhisono by Go-send service. In the remaining time of the day I was still at home. Lanjutannya...

It is Friday. Red Friday (Jumat Pahing). I left the house at 09:15. I dropped my clothes at a laundry shop. Then I had breakfast at Warung Tegal Satuhati. I arrived at the office at about 10:00. At 12:00 I joined Friday prayer in Masjid Baiturrahim. The day was cloudy but no showering. At 14:15 I left the office for Kampung Rambutan Terminal by a Gojek bike. I got a Nusantara bus ticket on go show mode at Rp190.000. My bus would be NS27 and my seat would be 11.

It is Tuesday. Black Tuesday (Selasa Wage). In the morning it was cloudy, it seemed the day would be rainy. I cancelled to joined, instead, I continued my sleeping.

Nuri made long bean leafs hot soup (lodeh) for our breakfast. At about 10:00 I washed my clothes. The sun emerged partly. At 11:00 I and Nuri went to a prefume shop to buy some. I bought 2 bottles of prefume at Rp1540000. Then, we went to Dastan's school to pick him up. We brought him to his house. We met Aishalina, she seemed unfriendly.

At about 13:00 Ratna and Ninok came home to discuss her wedding party. I went to bed and slept.

In the afternoon I ironed some of my clothes.

In the evening at 19:30 Nuri dropped me at Nusantara Bus pool. I would go to Jakarta. I met Indera Djaja Satyani there. He accompanied his secondary schoolmate waiting for his bus. It is Saturday. Sweet Saturday (Sabtu Legi). At 05:30 I, Bambang, Nendi, and Syakban left the house for Garut. I just accompanied Bambang to see a sheep farm in Garut. Nendi was the driver.

Joining a Meeting

It is Friday. Loving Friday (Jumat Kliwon). In the morning the sky was dark cloudy. I left the guesthouse at 09:00 after having bananas. A public transport brought me to the office. At 09:15 I arrived the office. Benny arrived later.

At about 10:00 by separate cars I, Benny, Bambang, dan Kecuk went to PT Jasamarga Manado Bitung office in Tamini Residence. The PT was a company developing and would be running toll road business in Manado Bitung segment. We joined a meeting there to discuss drainage design problems. Meeting was chaired by Bambang Saptadi, the Engineering Director and attended by three officers of PT JMT or PT PP along with us. The problem was arising due to the complain from the local dwellers that the project might disturbing their spring. The company had proved that by geohydrological analyzis the construction did not affect the spring. However, the spring location is less than 100m, a distance assumed a construction activity has no effect stated by Minister Regulation. It meaned that a discretion should be issued. At 11:30 the meeting settled with the conclusion that our obligation was to fit the points asked by Sulawesi 3 Watershed Management Office in Manado.

In showering situation I and Benny went back to the office. A moment later I and him were in Masjid Baiturrahim for joining Friday Congressional Praying. Priyonggo and Anwar were also being there. I went back to the office from the masjid with them in Anwar's car.

It was Thursday. Black Thursday (Kamis Wage). As usual I had breakfast at Warung Tegal Satuhati. I like having breakfast here because they offer variety of dishes at reasonable prices. In addition, the taste is good and the place is clean. By walking at 09:00 I arrived at the office. Benny and Priyonggo came later.

In the office I continued working on deck drainage analysis. By ashr time Benny pleased me, Priyonggo, and Gugun having late lunch at Bakmi Gunungkidul. We found showering when we arrived there but then clear just before we left. I ordered fried bihun (vermicelli) while the others did fried or wet noodles. I found the vermicelli was ok though wetter than that usually Nuri made.

At 17:00 I went back to the guesthouse. It was cloudy but no showering. At 19:00 I went out to dine. At a nasi goreng kiosk I had special fried rice. On the way back to the house I bought bananas in a fruit shop. Lanjutannya...

Going Around

It is Saturday. Black Saturday (Sabtu Wage). I had breakfast at Warung Tegal Satuhati. At 09:00 I arrived at the office. I turned on the computer but then I turned it off. At 09:30 a Gojek bike brought me to Endianto's house in Poris TVRI Housing Pondok Melati. I arrived there at 10:00 as my words. We made 2 cups of coffee using french press method.

About an hour later we joined Seta at a point close to toll road. We directly led to Pasar Santa. At a coffee counter we had coffee. I tried expresso. There were many coffee counters but lack of customer.

After Pasar Santa we went to Nuryati's house. It was about 30 meters from the market. She was in but about to go to a mourning house. We talked about our experience for a while. Then, we left for Senayan City. We had again there along with dishes for our lunch. We were in Kaffee Batavia. Peni, Seta's wife, joined us at about 17:00. We then moved to Pondok Indah Mall.

In that place we met their daughter in law (Aristiati) and granddaughter (Diva). We dined there but I just ordered a bottle of just made pineapple juice. At about 09:00 I and Endianto left the mall to go back. Seta and gangs were still there.

We got in a busway bus going to Harmoni. Another then brought us to Cawang Uki Stop. Finally, we were on a bus leading to Pinangranti. I got off at Tamini stop. It is Friday. Yellow Friday (Jumat Pon). At 10:00 I arrived at the office. Priyonggo, Benny, and Anwar came later. Gugun came after dhuhur time. Atina was absent. In the afternoon Anwar told to exit. Yes, the work has been done. Benny told the office would be closed on January the 10th.

At dhuhur time I joined Friday prayer at Masjid Baiturrahim.

Being in the Office

It is Thursday. Red Thursday (Kamis Pahing). The trip was congested when we reached West Java. At 03:00 we stopped at about Cikarang. We still in the bus. I continued sleeping. At 08:00 we continued to go but still found congestian at some point. Finally, at 09:25 we entered Kampung Rambutan Terminal and I got off. A Gojek bike got me at the guesthouse at 09:40. I found Bambang and his escort were almost going tothe office.

After putting my bag in the bed room I went to Warung Tegal Satuhati for having breakfast. On the way back to the guesthouse I took my clothes from the laundry shop. After having showering I walked to the office. I arrived there at 11:00. There was not another expert in. I worked on reviewing hydrology report.

At 17:00 I went back to the guesthouse. At 19:00 there was a technician coming in along with Fahmi the OB. They would fix my bed room door. I left them for dining at Warung Uduk Mpok Marsih. Going to Jakarta

It is Wednesday. Sweet Wednesday (Rabu Legi). It was the first day of the year 2020. It was cloudy almost all day long. I had to cancelled my plan to wash the clothes. The television stations told Jakarta and the coastal areas surroundings were suffered of flood. Activities were almost stopped. Halim rain gauge recorded high rainfall of 377mm per day on yesterday (31/12/2019 07:00 - 01/01/2020 07:00).

After dhuhur time I went to a barbershop on Jalan Simongan. The cost of trimming hair was Rp28.000.

At 19:15 Nuri dropped me at the bus pool. I would go to Jakarta using Nusantara Bus. My bus would be NS25 and my seat would be 19.
